[The Flame's Daughter]

[Episode 51]

Ge'er.

Junior Yu has regained consciousness.

Senior Yu.

I'm here.

This place...

It's... Flame Villa?

Yes.

Was Dark River Palace annihilated?

Yes.

How is Junior Yu?

He's asleep.

Senior Feng, there's something I want to ask you about.

Ask away.

When you and Yin Xue were imprisoned in the same cell

did he tell you anything?

You interacted with him the most in Dark River Palace.

Could you try to remember?

I want to know...

if he left some clues?

The gods...

They really don't forgive evildoers easily.

Even after 100 years...

What will Ru Ge do if you die?

She...

She hasn't even recalled her life from a 100 years ago.

This is the gods' punishment to me.

After this battle...

I won't have long to live.

It's good that she doesn't remember.

We've only known each other for a few years.

She should be able to forget me soon.

Very soon.

The last time he disappeared...

he returned very soon.

Young Mistress, eat something.

Young Mistress, there's no rush.

- You should eat first-- - I can't find it.

Xun Yi, I can't find anything about it.

Didn't they say that there are all sorts of books on every pugilist sect

in Azure Dragon Hall?

But why isn't there one on the Misty Deity Lineage? Not one!

Take your time.

There will be clues.

Did anyone from Dark River Palace mention it?

Those in Dark River Palace regard that sect as a taboo.

They never allowed anyone to speak of it.

Young Mistress, why don't you ask Mister Youqin about it?

He...

He can't explain it clearly.

The wind rises.

You can hear now, can't you?

You have your hearing back...

Really?

Huang Cong! Come here, quickly!

- Quickly! - Young Mistress, what's wrong?

Senior Yu can hear!

Young Mistress, you mean--

Yes! He can hear us.

Quickly! Say something. He wants to hear our voices!

I'm your subordinate, Huang Cong. Your Highness!

Can you really hear us?

You can hear us now, right?

Senior Yu, whose voice would you like to hear? Tell me.

We're all in Flame Villa.

Your Highness, can you really hear us?

Young Mistress, this is wonderful!

Exactly!

I've left the tea by your hand.

It's a bit hot. Drink it later.

I'm not a child.

Do you have to remind me so carefully?

If you get scalded

you'll have to trouble me with dressing your wound.

Bi'er.

I heard that...

you're going to take over Azure Dragon Hall as the new hall master.

Then from now on...

would I still get to see you?

What?

I mean...

I mean that you can come here anytime you wish.

You don't have to worry about formalities.

I...

I... I--

- Young Master Ji. - I...

You don't have to say another word.

I understand.

I knew you'd spill it.

I'll get you a handkerchief.

Xun Yi.

I came to tell you that Young Master Yu has recovered his hearing.

I thought he'd be happy to hear it.

Senior Yu is such a great person.

He's finally recovering.

You reap what you sow.

Yin Xue...

You won't die, will you?

There's one more matter.

I don't know who to discuss it with.

Senior Feng is Father's real son.

All these years, he has managed Flame Villa.

It's actually more appropriate to leave Flame Villa to him.

Right?

I haven't even finished talking.

He's already gone.

Young Mistress, you've returned.

Hall Master Zhongli has been waiting for some time.

Madam... I've handed Azure Dragon Hall over to Bi'er.

Since Die Yi was your personal maid, I should ask your permission

before I take her with me.

Didn't you promise me that you'd stay for three years?

Yes.

But Dark River Palace has been destroyed.

Under your leadership, Flame Villa has now been restored to its former glory.

I can retire now.

Hall Master Zhongli, I--

Madam, please consent to it.

My dear, we should get going.

I've thought long and hard.

But I still haven't figured out where we'll settle down.

I know you'll say that I'm dumb.

How about this?

We'll think about it as we travel.

If there's a place you like, just...

Just make it snow.

When I see snow...

I'll know that it's the place.

- Zhongli-- - Don't call him.

I agreed to let him leave.

He really does have the temperament of a scholar.

He can't be stopped once he has decided to leave.

He was the youngest among us.

He had such a promising career.

What a pity.

Convey my orders.

Wherever Hall Master Zhongli goes, he's to be protected by our disciples

but he's not to be disturbed.

This command is to last a lifetime.

Yes, Madam!

[Two years later]

Hurry up.

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

- Congratulations. - Please come in.

Come up here.

Be careful with those.

Congratulations.

Master, it seems like we'll be busy this Lunar New Year too.

Please come in.

Please come in.

Please come in.

Master, if you miss Young Mistress

why don't you visit her on her birthday?

When I see my old friends, they remind me of the past.

I don't want her to be trapped in past memories

and add to her sorrow.

Do you think the lotuses will bloom this summer?

Should we go in?

We'll wait a bit.

Senior Yu, are you feeling unwell?

I feel great.

Why do you suddenly sound so serious?

You gave me quite a fright.

Come in!

Your Highness.

Young Mistress.

You found it?

What have they found?

I know you're fond of flat bread.

So I had them look for a special one so you could try it.

It's just flat bread.

Is it worth it to send your imperial bodyguards to look for it?

It is.

But I've also made flat bread today.

How about this?

I'll eat the ones you made.

You can have the one I searched the whole world for.

Sure.

My flat bread is second to none.

It smells great and melts in your mouth.

You haven't had it for a long time, have you?

It does smell great.

Here.

Oh, right.

Prince Jingyang's coronation is in two days.

Aren't you going back to Luoyang?

Should the nation be in turmoil, I'll return when I'm needed.

Now that it's peaceful, why should I return?

You carved this yesterday?

Do you like it?

I do.

It's quite pretty.

But what has this got to do with our flat breads?

It's food coloring.

Stamp this on our flat breads and sell just 500 a day.

That's so little!

How will we break even then?

Whatever is rare is more valuable.

Huang Cong.

Tell us where the flat breads come from.

Yes.

Young Mistress, these past two years

His Highness ordered us to look for Young Master Xue.

But to no avail.

But just about a month ago, we found some traces.

But it doesn't mean that we've found Young Master Xue.

The flat breads are just a clue.

Where are the flat breads from?

We bought them from an ordinary vendor.

When our guards brought these flat breads back

I recognized the stamp and went looking for it right away.

However...

I couldn't find the vendor.

Did you check the nearby flat bread stalls?

Flat breads don't have to be made fresh.

Perhaps the flat bread stall is close by.

We asked everyone within a 10-mile radius

but no one recognized the stamp.

Tell me where you found this.

I'll look for it myself.

Even hundreds of our guards couldn't find it.

I just brought the flat bread so you could identify it.

If it really is related to Young Master Xue

we'll send more people to look.

Tell me where it is.

I'll look for him myself.

I'll go in person.

Tell her.

It's Ping An Town.

That's impossible.

I sent my men to watch the town.

Why wasn't there any news of him before?

We had our men watch Ping An Town too.

But there was no trace of Young Master Xue.

It must be him.

It could only be him.

Senior Yu, there's no time to lose.

Go ahead.

Look after Senior Yu for me.

Don't worry.

Huang Cong.

Present.

Protect Young Mistress secretly.

Yes.

[Dongbin Restaurant]

Is that Thunderclap Sect's Master Lei sitting upstairs?

It is.

Master Lei is such a hopeless romantic.

He visits Castellan Dao every year.

Look, he's here this year too.

Master.

How's Miss Phoenix?

Miss Phoenix took over Blossoms House in Luoyang.

All right, I got it.

That silly girl.

She doesn't even want half of my Thunderclap Sect.

Yet she actually took over Blossoms House?

My dear!

[Facial Mask]

My dear, I've come to kneel before you again!

I know that this is your favorite cosmetic brand.

I brought you two jars as a gift.

Whatever you'd like, be it the stars or the moon

I'll buy them all for you!

Sir, our castellan really isn't home today.

It's all right. I'll kneel till she returns.

Don't you find it embarrassing?

My dear, you're home!

Weren't you on your knees just now?

I'll kneel down...

You're my wife. I'll kneel to you whenever I want.

What's embarrassing about it?

My dear, I've thought it through.

If you still won't come to Jiangnan with me this year

I'll stay on my knees until you do.

I can't survive without you anyway.

Right now, the Pugilist World is divided into the north and the south.

Thunderclap Sect rules the south, while Flame Villa rules the north.

Top Blade City is no match for you.

Why do you insist on having me?

But I love you.

Moreover, we're officially married.

You wouldn't dump me, right?

Give these to me first.

My dear!

I really love you!

I'll buy you anything you want, all right?

We'll wait till you buy them then.

Sure! I'll go buy everything now!

There should be another 10 miles to go.

Why is there a town right here?

Young lady, are you from another town?

Yes.

How did you find this place?

I've been here once.

I was going to Ping An Town.

But I passed by this town on the way, so I came in.

This isn't Ping An Town.

We've never had any visitors.

Why?

This is a town that our sect created with illusions.

No outsider can see any of this.

Are you from the Misty Deity Lineage?

Yes.

Is your Chief still alive?

Chief...

He passed away.

Were you friends with our Chief?

Yes.

No wonder you stumbled upon this town.

You must have been destined to meet our sect.

Are you here to practice under our sect?

No, I came to look for him.

I thought that he was still alive.

Is there an inn in this town?

No.

What should I do for accommodation then?

Come with me.

I'll let you stay here.

Thank you.

It's just that...

Young mister, please do tell.

Once the owner of this house returns, you'll have to leave.

Sure.

The person I'll choose tonight is...

Her.

Me?

You're the one.

Yin Xue.

What exactly brought you to Flame Villa?

I'm here to keep you safe for a lifetime.

Are you willing?

Yin Xue, why are you so nice to me?

Have you forgotten?

That night, we announced that we shared a mutual affection.

Wasn't that why you annulled your engagement to Zhan Feng?

That was just an excuse.

I took it seriously.

Here, do you like it?

This... Mrs. Huang...

We're not...

- We actually-- - Thank you, Mrs. Huang.

Look, she's still shy about it.

I got it!

Our tutor recited this.

It's "Phoenix Looking for His Lover."

Young Master Xue must be playing this tune for Ru Ge.

Am I right?

Sister Ru Ge! Sister Ru Ge!

Young lady.

This place is so much like where I used to live.

There's rice in the pot and ingredients in the corner.

You can help yourself.

Thank you.

This is indeed an illusion.

Not even the lights are lit at night.

- Here you go. - After you.

You're really talented in literature.

This is wonderful.

It exists in Heaven.

Come over here.

Have a seat.

Is that so?

You're right.

This is quite good.

Here.

Here.

- Here. - Let's drink.

Let's drink together.

Yes.

Here.

This young lady found her own way here.

Here, young lady.

Please have a seat.

Have a seat.

Please have some.

I'll have another cup.

He plays so well.

- I can't have more drinks. - He plays so well.

I can't play like he does.

It sounds lovely.

- There's the master I mentioned. - He plays so well.

You're right.

Is it that taoist?

Is this the kind of life he once led?

It's said that disciples of Misty Deity Lineage are beyond this world.

They don't live in the mundane world.

They don't care for secular matters.

It seems to be true.

Young lady, what is a visitor like you doing here?

Are you visiting relatives?

I'm looking for someone.

Another broken-hearted person.

It's a tune that was long lost to the world.

Is it?

When should we go ask about it?

All right.

But I'm afraid, with my level...

I won't be able to play the tune.

Sure.

Are you only staying for three days?

Yes, I only came here to look for an old friend.

Since I can't find him, I need not linger.

I'll take my leave.

Since it's pouring, why don't you stay for just one more night?

I'll have someone escort you out tomorrow.

Thank you.
