Father.

Why are you confining me?

Chen Lan.

There's a strong power in your heart.

If it's not suppressed,

it might cause a disaster in the future.

It's not your fault.

It's my fault.

My son.

I've no choice,

but to imprison you here.

Don't be afraid.

Stay here...

and wait for me.

Father.

Don't move.

The more you struggle, the stronger the recoil.

My child.

Be good.

I'm making a trip to Liu He Island.

I'll come back soon to free you.

Wait for me.

Father.

-Father! -Wait for me!

Zhu Ji.

It's him.

Episode 49

Since you prefer to be direct,

I shall not beat about the bush.

Would you let me have...

the Liuhetianyi Sword?

Ms. Lin.

If you let Mr. Ming Xuan have the sword,

we will do our best to repay you.

Mr. Ming Xuan, how do you plan to repay me?

I'll kill Lu Zhao Yao and Li Chen Lan for you.

You don't want that?

A real man...

Keeps his word.

Please fulfil your promise as soon as possible.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

What should we do from now?

Gather all leaders of the Immortal Sects...

to devise a plan for crushing Wan Lu Sect.

But, ever since they thought you were...

Since then, they all just mind their own business.

There's no unity at all.

They might have their own plans.

This can be a problem.

People are now assuming that...

Xu Zong Sect was attacked by Wan Lu Sect.

We'll just have to wait for an opportunity...

to make use of this incident...

to unite all Immortal Sects...

and get rid of Wan Lu Sect.

Sister Zi Yu, you're finally back.

Where's the Liuhetianyi Sword?

Don't tell me you...

Xiao Ai.

Keep this in mind.

We're with the Immortal Sects now. We don't always have a choice.

-But I... -Stop asking.

Just know that...

Wan Lu Sect will be in deep trouble soon.

What do you mean?

Lu Zhao Yao and Li Chen Lan...

will lose their lives.

Why do people...

always leave the world in such a hurry?

We couldn't even say goodbye to him properly.

I feel like gulping down one whole bottle of wine.

I don't want to be sad.

If I'm drunk, I won't feel sad.

I made you go for a herb...

and that cost your life.

Han Guang.

Neither of us...

knew what fate had in store for us.

We were tortured again and again.

Don't blame yourself anymore.

I'm the one...

who should be blamed.

Where's Qian Jin?

Is she sick?

Ever since Ms. Shen came back,

she's either making yogurt cake in the kitchen...

or drinking tea in my master's room.

She doesn't talk or respond to everyone.

I believe she's in my master's room now.

Tell her to come.

She needs to pay her last respects to Han Guang too.

Yes.

Ms. Shen.

It's time.

Alright.

Ms. Shen.

Ms. Shen.

Ms. Shen.

I've made yogurt cake.

It's your favourite.

Just wait.

I will surely avenge you!

How do you feel?

I'm alright.

What do we do if you're in bad shape again?

If Gu Huan Guang had been alive,

he'd have gotten mad when he hears this.

I was always creating troubles for him.

Han Guang and Qian Jin went through so much,

but still couldn't be together.

Heaven is playing with our fate.

This is so sad.

No one can...

play with our fate.

Mo Qing.

We will find a solution for the devil in your heart.

There will be a solution.

Ms. Shen.

Mas...

Senior Qian Jin.

Qing Rong.

Today, the leader of Wangxing Sect sent letters to all Immortal Sects.

A Grand Meeting will be held at Mount Feng...

to address the massacre of Xu Zong Sect.

I heard that Gu Han Guang was also killed in Xu Zong Sect's base.

Do you have any idea?

I've no clue.

A war is about to break out again.

And even Chief Gu...

Senior Qian Jin.

You gave up all your power that day.

Do you...

have any regrets?

No.

I shall excuse myself.

Have you identified the cause of death of...

the corpses we brought back from Xu Zong Sect's base?

Their lives were sucked away.

It seems like Jiang Wu's method.

-But... -It wasn't Jiang Wu.

I think so too.

Jiang Wu loves showing off.

He won't wipe out a sect so quietly.

Could it be an internal conflict?

That I don't know.

After all, Jiang He has already passed away.

But, I have a theory.

Xu Zong Sect rarely uses weapons...

and Han Guang is Jiang He's junior.

Even though they were apart for many years,

their bond was still strong.

Jiang He wouldn't put Han Guang in prison intentionally.

So, I believe...

the person who stabbed Han Guang,

made Jiang He put him in prison...

and wiped out Xu Zong Sect...

was the same person.

Mo Qing.

Do you feel better now?

I'm alright.

The devil in my heart hasn't been acting up lately.

I've learnt to suppress it.

See?

I told you that everything will get better.

I made you all worry.

What were you two talking about?

Han Guang died in a suspicious way.

We're investigating his death.

I must do this for Ms. Shen...

as well as...

myself.

Was the secret magic of Xu Zong Sect still there?

We didn't find it.

You suspect that they were attacked because of their secret magic?

I'll investigate at once.

Zhao Yao.

I'm hungry.

Get some food for me.

Alright.

Sect Leader Chi looked restless during the Grand Meeting today.

So,

what can't he say in front of everyone?

Why did he gather us here?

Dear all, please come in.

Dear comrades.

It's been a long time.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

You escaped death several times.

I'm impressed.

I believe you gathered us...

because you have a plan.

You're still so clever.

That's right.

I gathered you all for a secret meeting today...

in order to administer justice...

and eliminate Wan Lu Sect once and for all...

to save the world.

You're still so noble.

But, the situation is different now.

You were defeated by Lu Zhao Yao twice.

That created momentum for the independent wanderers.

Now, Wan Lu Sect has Li Chen Lan as well.

They're even stronger than before.

Please tell me.

How do you eliminate them?

Jin Xiu, are you...

questioning my capability?

Of course not.

It's just that of all 10 major Immortal Sects,

only our sects are left now.

If we commit to this,

unlike you,

we can't escape all the time.

How dare you, Jin Xiu!

Wangxing Sect will support Mr. Ming Xuan at all cost.

Sunan Sect will support Mr. Ming Xuan as well!

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Jin Xiu might have been rude,

but he does have a point.

The Immortal Sects have suffered too many defeats.

I'm afraid we can't afford any more unnecessary sacrifices.

What do I need to do...

to gain your trust?

Have you heard of Jiang Wu of Xin Shan?

It is said that he was the one who wiped out Xu Zong Sect.

If you take action against him and get rid of this source of evil,

Tianxuan Sect will give you our full support...

in eliminating Wan Lu Sect.

Alright.

I shall do as you suggested.

It's alright now.

What happened?

-Are you alright? -Hurry. Let's go.

-Master. -Master.

I'll go in alone.

Father.

Father!

Father!

Father!

Li Chen Lan.

This is where you'll be buried.

You said that...

you'll play with a handicap of 3.

What is she doing?

Sister...

Let's not disturb her.

I thought we planned to take her out to have fun and relax.

Let's just leave her alone.

Let's go.

You're quite good at this.

You and Li Chen Lan are both so busy.

At least I can make myself useful.

You've grown up, girl.

Did you just visit Qian Jin?

How's she?

She...

She goes to Chief Gu's grave every day...

and plays chess with herself.

By the way,

if you're worried about her, why don't you visit her?

Gu Han Guang died for Mo Qing.

Until I find the murderer,

I'm too ashamed to face her.

Li Chen Lan.

Let's have a showdown tomorrow at the Mountain of Sealed Evil.

The victor can have Lu Zhao Yao.

The loser will pay with his life.

Jiang Wu.

Mo Qing.

What did you just burn?

Nothing important.

It's just a secret letter from the Dark Guards.

Have they found a way to eradicate the devil in your heart?

No.

The Dark Guards reported that Lin Zi Yu was spotted in Mount Feng.

Mo Qing.

From now on, just leave the trivial matters to Zhi Yan.

She seems to be doing a great job. We don't have to worry at all.

You'll just need to recuperate properly.

Alright. As you wish.

The moon is beautiful tonight. Let's go and moon gazing.

Mo Qing, do you like it?

Yes.

Make another.

I'll make a dragonfly.

Make a butterfly.

Why?

I love things that come in pairs.

What a coincidence.

I love things that come in pairs too.

You're mine.

No one can take you away from me.

You're still sane?

Of course.

Let me take you to a place.

Remember this place?

This is where the old Demon King sealed you.

Are you reliving the pain?

Li Chen Lan.

This is the end of our rivalry.

Mo Qing?

Sima Rong.

Do you know where Mo Qing went?

He's not in Wu Er Palace. That's why I came to Qing Bo Hall.

I haven't seen him at all today.

Wan Jun Sword is missing as well. He must have gone out.

Why didn't he inform us?

Don't panic.

What are the things...

Chen Lan won't tell you?

You owe me a life.

So, I took one from you.

Since you wouldn't give it to me, I took it myself.

From today onwards, I will make you all...

pay for everything you owe me little by little.

Mo Qing, what did you just burn?

Nothing important. It's just a secret letter from the Dark Guards.

Zhao Yao.

I think...

he must have gone to meet Jiang Wu.

How arrogant.

Don't you know where you are?

I can be arrogant.

If you're arrogant, you'll die!

Let's go!

Run.

Wu.

Let's run together.

Run!

I'm telling you to run!

The sword looked pretty when it was held by Lu Zhao Yao.

But, it makes you look like a sissy.

Then try me.

The more you struggle,

the stronger the recoil.

My child.

Be good.

Jiang Wu of Xin Shan.

You're not strong enough...

to be arrogant.

Who are you?

Me.

What are you doing here?

What about you?

Six.

Fifty.

Boss.

You keep counting your money lately.

Are you planning to open another shop?

I'm getting more and more forgetful.

I forgot the number again.

Again.

Don't be impatient.

This is so irritating.

Recently, I keep feeling like...

I should use the Backtracking Mirror.

I feel like I forgot something important.

Boss

Many who saved enough money...

went to look into the Backtracking Mirror.

But, all of them never came back after that.

Will that happen to you too?

Leaving...
