How does it feel to be...

ousted from Wan Lu Sect by Li Chen Lan and Lu Zhao Yao?

I left on my own.

Even if that's the case,

Jiang Wu,

you gave your heart to Lu Zhao Yao.

You saved her life.

But, how does she treat you?

Has she ever cared about you?

Since the beginning,

Li Chen Lan is the only one she cares about.

What exactly do you want to say?

I know that the Liuhetianyi Sword can hurt you.

You covet this sword.

Just join hands with me to get rid of Wan Lu Sect...

and help me kill Lu Zhao Yao.

This sword means nothing to me.

I can give it to you.

Episode 48

You came to the wrong person.

You still don't hate Lu Zhao Yao after what she did to you?

I love her.

I dote on her.

Like how you dote on Li Chen Lan.

I'm sparing you today...

because I pity you.

If you dare to hurt Lu Zhao Yao,

I will take your life.

Don't worry about that.

I'll settle it.

Jiang Wu is giving our men a hard time out there.

He has killed...

a few hundred members of Wan Lu Sect.

I'm more worried about Gu Han Guang.

By right, he should be back now.

Why isn't there any news of him?

Rong, investigate that.

Gu Han Guang is probably still in Xu Zong Sect's base.

Alright.

Help!

Help!

Water.

Master!

Master.

I've cooked Rebirth according to your instructions.

Should I deliver the medicine to Mr. Ming Xuan?

Master.

This last pedicel of Rebirth...

is for me.

Sect Leader Jiang.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Do you plan to treat me here today?

Yes.

You may retire.

Master, I'd like to watch and learn.

The treatment process is extremely dangerous.

If you stay here, you'll distract us.

Leave.

Yes.

Please come with me, Mr. Ming Xuan.

Sect Leader Jiang.

You look very different today.

This is a decisive moment.

I have to take it seriously.

Since it's a decisive moment,

please tell me...

what this dangerous treatment...

is all about.

It's the secret magic of the Xu Zong Sect.

I see.

Sect Leader Jiang.

You're daring.

Please come with me.

I'd like you to...

cooperate with me by following...

the mudras in these diagrams.

As expected of the immortal body.

Only this gold body of yours...

can withstand the supreme power of Jiang Clan.

Jiang He.

Have you been treating me...

in order to steal my immortal body?

Aren't you a disgrace to your clan and ancestors?

Disgrace?

I broke the curse of Jiang Clan...

and changed our fate.

My ancestors should be proud of me.

That's a fallacy!

How absurd!

Absurd?

Why didn't you say that when Lady Chang Yu...

killed members of Qin Clan...

to awaken you with their blood?

Why didn't you say that...

when you harmed our own kind...

to conceal the secret?

No! Jiang He!

Because you saved my life,

-I didn't want to hurt you. -You hypocrite.

But you asked for death!

What a joke!

-Who do you think you are? -Jiang He!

We're just the same.

Justice is dead.

-How can you be alive? -No!

Nonsense!

-What a joke! -Justice is not dead!

Not dead!

Master.

My power is back.

There are 3 treasures in Xu Zong Sect.

The secret medicine, the secret magic...

and the sect leader.

I've learnt a lot today.

What?

Xu Zong Sect was wiped out?

-Investigate at once! -Yes!

Mr. Ming Xuan.

I just heard that Xu Zong Sect was annihilated.

I was so worried about you.

It's my deed.

In order to live past 30 years old, Jiang He...

attempted to steal my immortal body.

He was just pretending to be helpful.

He gained my trust by pretending to treat me.

But at the crucial time,

he tried to steal my gold body.

That...

Jiang He...

How could he do something so dishonourable?

I was shocked myself.

But, as a result,

I stole Jiang He's power from his clan's secret magic...

and he died because of that.

He deserved it.

But,

I heard that Jiang He...

died in the same way as his men.

May I know...

His men attacked me...

and I was forced to use the power I obtained from Jiang He.

I failed to control the power...

and caused this tragedy.

It was all my fault.

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Don't blame yourself.

You used that secret magic...

out of no choice.

Yes.

There's a lot going on right now.

Wan Lu Sect is dominating and bullying the weak.

I can only make sacrifices for the greater good.

Xu Zong Sect...

helped me restore my power by accident.

I'll take it as that they sacrificed themselves...

for justice.

You fight with your own life to defend justice.

The Immortal Sects are fortunate to have you!

Your nobility is unquestionable.

I shall...

give my all to serve you!

Our comrades in the Immortal Sects...

must have been subjected too much injustice in this period.

Now that I've regained my power,

I believe we can soon return to the peak period of the Immortal Sects.

Together we must lead the Immortal Sects...

to eliminate Wan Lu Sect.

Alright.

With your leadership,

the glory of the Immortal Sects will surely be restored.

By the way,

the Liuhetianyi Sword is currently in Mount Feng.

Lin Zi Yu of Wan Lu Sect...

stole it when she defected.

Now,

both Lin Zi Yu and the sword...

are in Mount Feng.

Lin Zi Yu?

Sky burlap.

Dahurian Angelica Root.

Notopterygium...

Notopterygium Root.

Consume with warm wine.

Or apply on external wound.

Matched with Wanlu Pill,

the remedy treats tetanus.

Or if matched with acupuncture treatment,

one may use a thin blade...

to remove the infected flesh.

Amputation may save one's life.

All my life,

I've been treating all kinds of illnesses.

Ironically,

I end up...

having no medicine for myself.

What a joke.

What a joke.

My poor Qian Jin.

My Qian Jin.

Qian Jin.

I've heard that...

there is a disciple in Xu Zong Sect who is...

excellent in both medical skills and chess.

Since we met today, would you play a game with me?

I've never feared death.

But,

I'm afraid of forgetting you.

No!

No, Qian Jin!

Qian Jin!

Qian Jin!

Qian Jin!

Qian Jin!

Qian Jin!

This is my birth profile.

This...

Let's get married.

Would you marry me?

Ms. Shen.

Chief Gu should be back today or tomorrow.

Don't worry too much.

I've calculated the time.

He should be back latest by tonight.

Maybe he ran into some problems.

Or maybe he wants to spend some more time with Sect Leader Jiang.

I'm sure he'll be back by tomorrow morning.

Chief Gu won't keep you waiting.

Master Li. Master Lu.

Do you know where Han Guang is and when he'll be back?

Did he leave with enough protection?

Gu Han Guang said that since he was just going to get a herb,

he shouldn't bring guards with him. So, he went alone.

Han Guang said he'll be back in 2-3 days.

But, he's not back yet.

I'm worried about him running into troubles.

Mo Qing, stay here.

I'll bring our men out to look for Gu Han Guang.

I'll go with you.

You need to stay here and suppress your evil power.

Don't worry. I'll be fine.

You must stay safe too. Wait for me.

Let's go.

What happened to the entire sect?

Was there any similar case in the past?

Han Guang!

-Han Guang! -Follow her.

Split up and look for Chief Gu!

Do not act alone!

Yes!

-Han Guang! -Ms. Shen.

-This is their underground prison. -Han Guang!

Chief Gu can't be here.

-Han Guang! -Ms. Shen!

Han Guang.

Wake up, Han Guang.

Han Guang. It's me, Qian Jin.

Wake up, Han Guang.

Han Guang.

Han Guang.

What?

No way.

Who did this?

How can Gu Han Guang...

Han Guang.

Just because of this small wound?

No way.

Isn't he the Bane of Hell?

This is tetanus.

He must have been denied...

medicine and silver needles in this prison.

So, he couldn't treat himself.

Even if he was in the wilds,

this wouldn't have happened to him.

Who did this?

Master. Ms. Shen.

Let's take Chief Gu back to our base first.

I'm afraid it's not safe here.

We can't let Chief Gu stay here any longer either.

If I know who the culprit is,

I'll make him pay tenfold for this.

Your tea is the best indeed.

You always come here to listen to songs and drink tea.

You've so much free time, Young Master Jin Xiu.

Of course I've nothing to worry about.

But, Xu Zong Sect...

What happened to Xu Zong Sect?

You probably don't know since you were busy practising zither.

This morning, my men reported to me that...

Xu Zong Sect has been wiped out.

What?

Sect Leader Jiang He and dozens of his men...

were killed.

They died in a horrible way.

People are saying that Lu Zhao Yao is coming back...

to start a war again.

Why do they believe that it was Lu Zhao Yao's deed?

It is said that after the massacre of Xu Zong Sect,

the Dark Guards went to Xu Zong Sect's base.

Something is fishy about this.

What's fishy?

It's true that Lu Zhao Yao is a ruthless woman.

But, she's a fair person.

Xu Zong Sect has nothing to do with her.

If she wants revenge,

she would go for Chi Tian Ming and Xiong Tian first.

Yes.

I share the same opinion.

The one behind this...

is probably another person.

Jiang Wu?

What a joke!

Am I the kind that will kill people secretly?

If I were the one that wiped out Xu Zong Sect,

I would have left my name on the wall before I walked away.

But, I'll admit that...

the perpetrator is pretty impressive.

Go. Find out who did that.

Yes.

Sister Zi Yu.

Did you find Jiang Wu?

How did it go?

He's extremely stubborn.

He won't change his mind.

We can't get him to help us.

Does that mean...

we'll have to stay with the Immortal Sects forever?

We've no choice.

In the past, I thought...

I'd stand by him forever.

I'm afraid that's no longer possible.

Sister Zi Yu.

I don't get it at all.

Why do you love Li Chen Lan so much?

Master, how may I help you?

From today onwards, you'll lead the Dark Guards.

You'll be in charge of security.

Thank you, master.

But...

I'm young and inexperienced.

People might not acknowledge me.

It's alright.

I've faith in you.

Yes!

I will not disappoint you.

Please coach me, master.

I'm not good enough.

I will practise harder.

Chief Lin, you've improved a lot.

Don't be too hard on yourself.

Thank you for the compliment.

Enough.

It's a matter of the past now.

Don't bring it up again.

I joined the sect much later than you.

So, I didn't go through all that.

I've only heard that...

when the old chief tried to lead everyone to commit mass suicide,

you were the one who stopped them...

and convinced them to serve Li Chen Lan.

But now...

You all should have dismissed back then.

Then we wouldn't be in this situation today.

Xiao Ai, you can't say that.

All Dark Guards are indebted to master.

Wan Lu Sect is our home.

One should never leave home without a good reason.

Sister Zi Yu.

Why did you join Wan Lu Sect back then?

Me?

My younger brother and I were human drug testers in Xuesha Sect.

Lu Zhao Yao rescued us.

So, I swore that I would repay her.

All these years, I guarded Wan Lu Sect for her.

I've repaid her.

Besides, the Wan Lu Sect today...

is no longer the Wan Lu Sect in the past.

-Who is it? -Ms. Lin.

Officer Chi wants you to see him in his study.

I'll be there in a while.

Yes.

Sister Zi Yu.

What is Chi Tian Ming up to?

What is this sly fox planning this time?

Stay here and wait for me.

Ms. Lin.

What is it?

Ms. Lin.

Nice to meet you.

You're Luo Ming Xuan.

Precisely.

Ms. Lin.

You said to me that...

there must be mutual trust in a collaboration.

The return of Mr. Ming Xuan...

is the biggest secret of the Immortal Sects.

You must keep it to yourself.

Ms. Lin.

-Please sit down. -No thanks.

Be straightforward.

Alright.
