Master.

Did Mr. Ming Xuan use the medicine?

Yes.

Has his condition improved?

He's much better than before.

By the way,

Mr. Ming Xuan asked me a question today.

What did he ask?

He asked me if Xu Zong Sect's secret magic...

has something to do with your clan.

Did you tell him everything?

Yes.

Please forgive me. The Gold Deity said...

he just wants to know if he can help you...

overcome this inherited disease to repay you for saving his life.

Never mind.

It doesn't matter. He'll know sooner or later anyway.

You may retire.

Yes.

What are you doing?

Wu.

Get up.

What are you guys looking at?

I've no bedroom. I can only sleep here.

Go ahead with your meeting. I'm going back to sleep.

Anything important?

Master.

Due to the coup d'etat and the battle against Master Jiang,

half of our farmland was destroyed and yield was low.

We made less money from the taxes compared to last year.

Moreover, we need a lot more money this year...

for the repair and maintenance of our buildings.

What should we do from now?

If we've no money, just rob!

There are so many rich people here!

We can surely get enough money to repair our buildings.

That won't do.

Here's my opinion.

Since we're short of money, forget about repairing them.

There's no hurry anyway.

We can make do until next year.

But...

But what? It's decided.

Yes, master.

Keep your voice down.

Red Hair Prick!

You're bullying my men in front of me!

It's just a game. They won't die from this.

Do you want to try?

I don't care about how you used to be back in Xin Shan.

In Wan Lu Sect, you must follow Wan Lu Sect's rules.

You're not allowed to bully our men.

Alright.

Let's have a match then.

If you win, I'll agree.

Deal.

But, we can't use humans as targets.

I lost my footing.

You're so annoying!

What's wrong with you?

-You're so annoying! -Be gentler!

What's wrong with you?

-Can you play seriously? -Stop!

-It hurts! -Jiang Wu!

Stop right there!

I hate you!

You're so annoying!

What's so funny?

Are you cleaning up the mess for them?

Master. Chief Sima.

I've come up with a solution...

for our financial problem.

We can sell the items and food we stored...

and merge the rooms to cut down our expenses.

But, never increase the taxation.

Keep this in mind.

Keep our new members in check.

Don't let them harass the folks.

Yes, master.

Master.

What? Is there any other problem?

I got these from Master Jiang and Master Lu.

They both ordered me to do as they instructed.

Who should I listen to?

You all have different styles.

Follow my instructions.

Yes, master.

Ugly Monster.

What brought you over at this hour?

I came to have a date with you.

Let's go to the Land of Rest.

That Red Hair Prick won't be able to find us.

Let's go.

Zi You.

Sister.

Brother.

Sister, the effect of the Kong Kong Pill...

-It's gone. -Gone? Thank god!

It's gone?

How did you get rid of it?

The Hexagonal Diamond Formation.

The Hexagonal Diamond Formation?

You guys went that far?

What a waste.

What a waste!

Why do you get all the good things?

You're too lucky, sister.

If you need to...

rely on medicine in the Land of Rest like him,

it'll be a big problem.

Why?

You've no idea.

If you consume medicine from the Land of Rest regularly,

you will be addicted.

When you reach a certain point,

you might become permanently...

stuck in the Land of Rest.

Back then, in order to leave the Land of Rest,

sister went through the painful process of bone marrow cleansing...

in the Pool of Purity.

Bone marrow cleansing?

People here would rather die than go to that place.

Don't worry. I'm no ordinary girl.

That's odd.

I'm sure they went in from here.

You're good. But I won't give up.

Mo Qing.

Thank you for everything.

Why are you suddenly thanking me?

Even though I founded Wan Lu Sect,

I never knew how to manage it.

Thank you...

for managing the sect so well.

Also, I know that...

you've been forcing yourself to tolerate Jiang Wu.

He saved your life.

Even though I don't like him,

I'm thankful to him.

Besides,

I'm not the only one tolerating him.

What is Jiang Wu doing this time?

-How did you get out from there? -Who told you to cut the tree?

I just feel like it!

I don't like it when the two of you are together!

All three of us are the masters of Wan Lu Sect.

Yet, both of you have your own places.

This is too unfair.

What do you want?

Cut down the tree.

What are you saying?

Did I agree?

I can spare the tree.

But, you two must promise me that...

you won't come here again.

Jiang Wu.

Don't push your luck.

You weren't like this when you begged me to save her.

If you don't promise so,

I'll come again tomorrow and cut the tree.

Unless necessary,

Zhao Yao and I won't come here again.

This is the last time I compromise.

Don't ask for too much.

Now that's the right attitude.

You're so pretty today.

You just left. Why brought you back?

Give me one Kong Kong Pill.

You're so wealthy.

You can afford more than that.

How about a few pills?

I'll take 10.

You're so generous!

What's that?

This is the soup Master Lu cooked for Master Li.

Lu Zhao Yao cooked this?

It's good.

Tell Li Chen Lan that Lu Zhao Yao gave him a bowl.

Master, it went as you predicted.

I passed by with the soup...

and told him that Master Lu cooked it for you.

Jiang Wu drank everything.

Good.

Master, may I know...

-if the drug... -He won't die from that.

It'll just bring him to the place he wants to visit.

Alright.

Wu, what's wrong?

I've been having a stomachache since this morning.

You should go to the physician.

It's alright. I'm fine.

I need to go to the toilet!

Do you have toilet paper?

No!

Go and get it for him!

Master.

Your solution for our problem worked well.

It's going to be another good year for us.

Alright.

These are the documents we received from our men.

Leave them here.

Did anything happen to Jiang Wu after he drank the soup?

According to our men,

Jiang Wu has been having the runs today.

He's also looking pale. I'm afraid he's not feeling well.

Should we summon Chief Gu?

He's only having the runs?

Yes.

Let him swallow the rest.

Yes.

Eat slowly. No one will steal it from you.

It's all your fault, master!

You ordered to cut down our expenses on food...

and I starved for days.

So it's my fault now?

Demoness.

Aren't you worried about Jiang Wu taking over Wan Lu Sect?

He's not capable of doing that.

Why?

Jiang Wu might seem aggressive,

but Ugly Monster has quietly gained actual power over the sect.

I was away for so many years...

and he managed to lead Wan Lu Sect so well.

He's pretty good.

Is Ugly Monster that good?

Would I fall for an incompetent man?

Lu Zhao Yao! Come out!

That Red Hair Prick is so disrespectful to master!

How can we allow him to act like a boss in Wan Lu Sect?

Don't worry. Your two masters aren't stupid.

I only have one master.

Fine. Just one.

They are just waiting.

Waiting for what?

Jiang Wu is so eccentric and unrestrained.

He can't get used to this.

He'll leave once he's fed up.

-Will he? -Yes.

Just wait and see.

My niece.

Why do I feel like you've gotten really smart?

Why am I your niece?

Lu Zhao Yao.

What's the matter?

What did you put into the soup you cooked for Li Chen Lan?

Soup? What soup?

I get it now.

It's Li Chen Lan.

I've a question. Why do you love him?

Is it because he's nice to you?

I can be nice to you too.

You can't.

Why?

That's because you already lost...

from the time you met me.

What does that mean?

What does that mean?

I already lost from the time I met her?

What does that mean?

Wu, are you feeling better now?

I feel much better now.

What is it?

They've stopped reporting important matters at Wu Er Palace.

They just send the documents to Li Chen Lan directly.

I was wondering why...

there's only been unimportant matters lately.

They must have big decisions to make.

That's why...

you need to strengthen your position in Wan Lu Sect.

That's easy.

Lu Zhao Yao lost her Liuhetianyi Sword, right?

Track down Lin Zi Yu.

What does this have to do with that?

It's to strengthen my position.

Li Chen Lan recovered Lu Zhao Yao's sword back then...

and I can do the same now.

I'm not asking you to impress Lu Zhao Yao.

That's what matters to me.

Alright. Go.

Go.

You came at the right time. Lend me a hand.

You used to be busier.

But, you never needed help.

She wasn't with me back then...

and it felt as though time passed very slowly.

Now that she's back,

I feel like I don't have enough time at all.

I never thought that...

I'd one day see...

happiness on your face.

I'll only have true happiness...

if Jiang Wu leaves this place.

I heard from my men that...

Jiang Wu's trusted aide, Xiao Yi, went out.

I think he's looking for Lin Zi Yu as well.

We ran into him in Jiangzhou City today.

Is Lin Zi Yu in Jiangzhou?

She was spotted in Jiangzhou.

Rong, review the rest of the documents for me.

I need to go out.

Those two went out together?

Sister Zi Yu.

What should we do next?

Jiang Wu has joined Wan Lu Sect.

They are the strongest sect now.

Even though Chi Tian Ming doesn't like me,

as long as I have the Liuhetianyi Sword,

I believe they'll beg for our help.

Do we still head to the Immortal Sects' territory?

We can't give them the sword so easily.

Otherwise, once we're useless to them,

they'll take our lives.

Run!

Isn't it a simple matter?

Just let me take your life.

You've held this sword for too long.

It's time to return it to its master.

The sword is mine.

How meddlesome.

What are you guys doing?

I prepared a surprise for you, but he ruined it.

We found Lin Zi Yu.

Where's she?

She got away.

Get her!

Surrender the sword.

Let me help you.

Mo Qing!

Mo Qing!

Jiang Wu! What do you want?

I want to kill him.

I told you I'll kill Li Chen Lan...

and replace him in Wan Lu Sect.

You were even impressed back then.

How about some donation?

I will kill Li Chen Lan and replace him in Wan Lu Sect.

It's different now.

It's still the same.

-Jiang Wu! -Bring it on!

Stop!

You need to be treated. Let's go back.

Is he alright?

He won't live long.

He won't live long?

What a good news!

Listen, Jiang Wu.

If anything bad happens to Ugly Monster,

I'll make you pay for it!

Sure. If he dies, I'll mourn for him with you.

-You... -Get out!

Get out.

You too!

You guys are so noisy!

Help me up.

What are you so worried about?

He won't die from a minor injury like that.

Minor injury?

If this happens again,

I won't be nice to you.

Stop acting.

I've an injury too.

He's awake.

I'm injured too. Treat me.

Mo Qing.

You're awake.

How do you feel?

I'm fine.

What are you saying?

I'm still here.

You've no rights to your body now.

Li Chen Lan, let me tell you something.

There are two opposing powers...

battling in your body.

I went through a lot of troubles to suppress them for you.

Please control your emotions.

Don't waste my effort.

Is he alright or not?

He's fine for now.

You.

Come with me if you want to be treated.

Listen, the two of you.

I can only treat your external injuries.

As for the rest,

pray for yourselves.

What's the matter?

-Are they any different? -Of course.

I can treat humans, but I can't treat demons.

Mo Qing!

Mo Qing!

Stop right there!

Li Chen Lan! Stop right there!

Stop! Do you hear me?

Why are you running away?

Did you already know that...

you're affected by evil power?

Were you planning to hide it from me forever?

I didn't want to hide it from you.

I just...

I just didn't know how to tell you.

What stopped you...

from telling me?

It's just like...

when I had a blue mark on my face.

I felt ugly.

I was worried about you leaving me behind.

Very often,

even though you're just standing right before me,

I'll still feel like...

I'll lose you anytime.

Mo Qing.

Keep this in mind.

I'll never leave you again.

Even if it's the end of the world,

you must remember this.

Understand?

Wu.

You were trying to get back the Liuhetianyi Sword for Lu Zhao Yao.

But, because of Li Chen Lan's intervention,

you're the one that gets the blame.

You injured Li Chen Lan and everything you did for her...

won't impress her anymore.

Shut up, both of you.

How annoying.

Wu.

I must say it even if it annoys you.

You've no idea that we're ostracized in Wan Lu Sect.

They treat us as outsiders.

Our men can still bear with it.

But now, you're one of the sect leaders!

Yet, they only report to Li Chen Lan.

This doesn't benefit us at all.

Xiao En is right.

Wu, even though Lu Zhao Yao is powerless as well,

at least everyone in Wan Lu Sect acknowledges her.

That's right.

We've nothing much to do with Wan Lu Sect.

Why don't we just...

return to Xin Shan?

We're free to do whatever we like there. Isn't that nice?

No.

Why?

Here, I get to see Lu Zhao Yao every day.

Do I get to see her over there?

You're putting up with them here...

-just for Lu Zhao Yao? -Yes!

I just want to stay with Lu Zhao Yao!

Enough. Leave me alone.

-Officer Chi. -What is it?

Lin Zi Yu of Wan Lu Sect came.

What does she want?

Lin Zi Yu claimed that she has the Liuhetianyi Sword.

-Bring her in. -Yes.

This way.

Master.

You came back, Ms. Lin.

What brought you back?

I came to talk to you.

You want to use the Liuhetianyi Sword as your bargaining chip...

to stay with the Immortal Sects?

The Liuhetianyi Sword is my bargaining chip.

And it's up to you to accept or decline my offer.

You must be joking.

Your room is still here.

You're free to move in anytime.

Don't worry, Officer Chi.

I don't necessarily...

need to stay in Mount Feng.

To be frank,

I don't trust you.

In this collaboration,

while you know my stakes, I don't know your actual plan.

This is unfair and I don't feel safe either.

What do you want to know?

You said that you plan to join hands with Jin Xiu...

and that you're just waiting for an opportunity.

I just want to know...

who exactly are you waiting for.

Ms. Lin, why do you assume that?

Everyone covets the Liuhetianyi Sword.

I can see that Jin Xiu wants it too.

Since you won't be honest to me...

Goodbye.

Ms. Lin, please wait!

I can wait, but I might not stay.

Since you've noticed my intention,

I shall be honest.

My collaboration with Jin Xiu is nothing more than a cover-up.

I'm secretly assisting the Gold Deity in restoring his power.

The Gold Deity?

Luo Ming Xuan is still alive?

Please keep your voice down.

The Gold Deity is recuperating. Once he recovers and returns,

he will definitely annihilate Wan Lu Sect.
