Episode 18

Master.

Don't you think there's something weird about this mountain?

There's not even a single living creature here.

Who in the world abducted Chief Sima? Do you have any idea?

I've no idea yet.

But, he's no friend of ours.

We need to be careful.

Chief Sima left Wan Lu Sect a long time ago.

Why would he have an enemy?

Could it be the survivors of Nan Yue Sect?

No.

Master.

I heard Chief Sima was set up by Nan Yue Sect back then.

But then,

Chief Sima seems to have resigned himself to his fate.

Was it because of a woman?

A woman from Nan Yue Sect called Yue Zhu...

came to seduce Rong.

She planned to assassinate him.

But, she fell in love with him...

and couldn't kill him.

Then...

Yue Zhu was ordered to return to Nan Yue Sect.

She was punished for betraying the sect.

Rong went over to save her.

And he was ambushed by them. That was how he broke his legs.

Yue Zhu fought all out to protect him...

and took him away.

-So, Yue Zhu... -She died.

Watch out.

There's an order from master!

Those not on duty shall all head to the residence of Chief Sima!

-Go! -Yes!

What happened in Jiangzhou City?

Someone attacked Chief Sima's residence.

We've lost many of our brothers.

Master has gone over ahead of us.

Sister Zi Yu! You're...

Whether or not I hold a post, I must protect master.

Sister Zi Yu!

Xiao En!

Xiao Yi!

Where are they?

This is odd.

How did we get separated as soon as we entered this cave?

Xiao En!

Xiao Yi!

They aren't even strong.

Now they've to take care of a disabled man.

I hope they're fine.

Where did you two go?

Where's Sima Rong?

I'm talking to you guys!

Looks like Mount Lingting lures people into the Realm of Illusion.

I almost made a careless mistake.

I'm not a fool like others.

Sister!

What brought you over? Come in!

Sister, you must be thirsty. Have some tea.

Why am I here?

She's penniless. Why did you give her tea?

It's alright.

She did a lot of good deeds already.

She has money now. Right?

Yes. I've a lot of money in my account now. I've checked.

You're penniless.

-You pauper. -No way!

I did so many good things! Let me see!

No way!

You pauper!

I didn't know you're so poor!

No! I do have money!

How can you be drinking tea here if you've no money?

Someone arrest her!

I do have money!

I have money! I'm not poor!

-Release me! -You'd better behave.

It's life imprisonment for drinking tea without paying!

I do have money!

I do have money!

I'm not poor! Release me!

Let me out! I'm not poor!

That scared me.

It's just a dream.

How did I fall asleep here?

This is... Mount Lingting.

Where's Little Ugly Kid?

Master!

Master!

Master!

Master!

Even a strong man like you fell for it?

Master.

Little Ugly Kid.

No.

You won't die.

No. You won't die.

No.

Zhao Yao.

Zhao Yao?

No.

He...

Does he actually...

No way.

Something must be wrong with Mount Lingting.

This must be an illusion!

No way!

It's an illusion indeed.

No way.

No way.

Mount Lingting.

The mountain where lives come to rest.

It's full of evil energy indeed.

Where are you going? Come back!

Let's go.

I need to find Sima Rong quickly before he falls into the pit.

Sima Rong!

Chief Sima.

Chief...

Yue Zhu, you grew up in Nan Yue Sect.

We've never mistreated you.

We trusted you.

Yet, you...

betrayed Nan Yue Sect.

Wan Lu Sect has done a lot of bad things...

and Sima Rong supports them.

Alongside Lu Zhao Yao, he killed many of our men!

Yet, you fell in love with him.

Do you know that...

by sparing Sima Rong,

you've ruined our plan?

Sima Rong...

is not a bad person.

I can't kill him.

Demonic Sects are evil!

All members of Wan Lu Sect are evil!

Yue Zhu.

You just met Sima Rong not long ago...

and you're already doing this much for him.

You're even willing to die for him.

Is this worth it?

I just want to follow my heart.

I'm happy.

Why do you feel happy? You are being foolish!

Are you aware that master plans to kill you?

I'm aware.

I already died...

the day I got brought back.

Yue Zhu, if you make up for your mistake...

and kill Sima Rong,

you might be granted forgiveness.

I won't kill him.

Yue Zhu.

If that's the case,

I'll have to obey master's command!

Rong!

I can't believe...

my lie about my defection...

became the truth today.

I saved you every time.

This time, I'll still protect you.

Let's go, Yue Zhu.

Why did you save me?

I deceived you.

I just want to follow my heart.

Let's go.

"I just want to follow my heart."

Little Round Face was surprisingly carefree...

when she was still alive.

I'm happy that you came to save me.

But with me, you won't be able to escape safely.

Besides, our sect...

has already set up an ambush at the Sword Tomb.

Once Lu Zhao Yao comes for Wan Jun Sword,

they'll crush Wan Lu Sect.

Don't worry about me. Go.

Go.

Go.

I'll take you away first.

How do I get out of this cave?

It's you, Pretty Girl.

I can't believe I found you so effortlessly.

Where do you think you are?

Do you think we'll let you leave easily?

Stay close to me.

If I can come,

of course I can leave as well.

Go!

Watch out!

Rong!

I'm fine.

Let's go.

No. There's poison on the dagger.

If you use magic, you'll lose all your power.

Seize him!

He's injured. He can't go far.

Go after him.

He's Lu Zhao Yao's trusted aide...

-and we must kill him! -Yes!

Was it because of this?

Is this how Sima Rong...

lost his ability to walk?

What was I doing at that time?

Enough. Don't move.

You got caught in the illusion too.

Oh no. Someone came.

Pretty Girl.

Short-haired Boy.

So you were the one who abducted Sima Rong?

Yes, it was me. Do you have a problem?

Why did you abduct him?

He's gathering information for Li Chen Lan.

Of course I have to kill him.

Why? Do you plan to protect him?

Yes. I want to protect him.

You like him?

Yes, I like him.

He's good looking and nice. It's no surprise that I like him.

I like you too because I like your personality.

You're quite flirtatious.

I'm just stating the facts.

But, I want to protect him because he's on my side.

On the other hand, you're not on my side.

What if I insist to take him away?

You can try.

It's the Liuhetianyi Sword.

Li Chen Lan risked his life to get it for you.

You're good.

I like you even more now.

Me too.

He's mine! Even you can't stop me!

This won't do. If this goes on,

Mount Lingting will collapse.

Rong, it must hurt a lot.

Don't worry.

I'll take you away.

There's blood stain here!

-That way! -Yes!

Let's go.

That way!

Rong!

Stop right there!

Hurry!

Yue Zhu, if you can,

leave in the wind without me.

Yue Zhu.

You're awake.

Am I going to die?

No.

You saved me for nothing.

You even lost your legs.

But, I'm so happy that...

you came to save me.

The crabapple flowers are so beautiful.

It's just like...

the first time we met when you fell down...

from the crabapple tree.

That was a lie.

I have great martial skills.

Why would I fall down from a tree?

I know.

I approached you in order to deceive you.

I know.

But, my feelings for you...

are real.

I know.

Rong.

You're always too gentle...

and stubborn.

Forgive me,

so that you can forget me.

I won't forgive you.

I won't forget you either.

I'll remember you forever.

Yue Zhu.

Yue Zhu!

Yue Zhu!

Yue Zhu!

Yue Zhu!

Don't kill me, Wu.

No.

-No! -Yue Zhu!

Yue Zhu!

Zhao Yao, I'm coming!

The Heart Prying Mirror.

This isn't right.

-Master. -I shouldn't be here.

I should be...

I should be right beside you.

It was indeed an illusion.

Do you still want to fight?

Short-haired Boy.

We're both trapped in this magical formation.

This pit will most likely...

increase the power of the natural formation continuously.

If we keep on fighting,

I'm afraid they'll all get stuck in the formation.

What are you trying to suggest?

Are you trying to bargain with me again?

Sima Rong assists Li Chen Lan.

You want him dead,

but you didn't kill him right away.

I bet...

you're planning to obtain some information from him.
