[New Horizon]

[Episode 18]

Actually, on your leaving day,

I went to the airport to see you off.

Right.

As I said,

you are not so cruel-hearted.

But when I arrived at the airport,

you already took off.

On that day, I suddenly felt

very terrified.

For the first time, I realized

that I was afraid of losing you.

So I was

standing at the airport and thought

that as long as you

came back to see me alive,

I would

hold your hands tightly.

From now,

you have to officially

listen to my words.

Sorry, my wife.

I made you worried.

I promise you

that I will follow whatever you say.

Now we are

a family now.

Then you need to remember.

Now it's legally admitted

that you are mine.

Don't you dare

take French leave!

Yes, sir.

But from today,

shouldn't we

celebrate

that you successfully

hold me tightly?

Ren Yuan

sent me a message early in the morning.

He said he couldn't come and asked for a leave.

Fine then.

Let me tell you three.

The company has

achieved great success in the rescue

and you

have made great contributions！

So the company's PR department

asked all of us

to take a group of publicity photos

of the rescue crew

to promote

our company's brand image.

This is going to make us

star captains.

Our flight department made great contributions

in the disaster relief.

You are

the core of this task.

It would be fair

to make you star captains.

This kind of publicity

is very helpful

for the company's image.

I think it's great.

I'm not going to participate.

This time it was mainly

the contribution of Captain Lu

and I didn't do much to help.

No, Xiao Mo.

We did it together.

You have been busy

picking up so many people.

How can I

take the credit alone?

Besides, it would be too much for me

to take

all the credit.

And

this is for our company's

overall publicity.

For the image of the company,

you have to rise to the challenge.

It even rhymes.

Right? Tao?

I don't like to take photos.

It's just photo-taking.

You can even fly a plane.

How can you be afraid to take a few photos?

That's right.

You have to go this time.

We are a group and I will supervise you.

When you get home,

you pose

in front of the mirror and practice.

It's easy.

It's easy.

You're in.

Cheers, congratulations!

Congratulations!

Sister Hua Xin,

am I going to call you

Mrs. Ren?

No.

You have to call me sister,

like my brother does.

Anyway, Xiao Mo has to call me brother-in-law.

Fine, Brother-in-law.

I was wondering

why you weren't at work this morning.

It turns out that

you went to marry my sister.

Yes.

I was afraid your sister would change her mind.

Why does Mr. Lin want to see me?

It's nothing.

He said he wanted to organize colleagues who had been

involved in the rescue last time

to take a publicity photo.

Publicity photo?

Really? That's great!

We don't

seem to be in a picture, right?

Can

you two men

get us some meat?

Okay.

No problem.

You two have been okay since you got back

from the disaster area?

We've been through

such a thing together

and it always feels like our life

has just clicked into place.

And my mom's

attitude towards Xiao Mo is changing.

That's great.

And you are brave.

You are a girl

and you signed up to go to the disaster area.

Actually,

I was afraid.

But as soon as I got to the airport that day,

I felt more at ease

when I saw Xiao Mo.

And having gone through these things together.

I always feel like

we have a better

mental connection.

But sometimes, it takes time

to develop a tacit understanding.

After all, you need to get to know each other more.

Did you notice that

my brother's face changed when you

mentioned taking a picture just now?

Did he?

It seems a little bit. Why?

Because he hates taking pictures.

Why is that?

I don't know.

He hated taking pictures since he was a child.

Cheers!

I just wanted to tell you.

You need to

help him out when you guys

shoot the publicity photos.

Otherwise, when he faces the camera,

he won't know

where to put his hands and feet.

He looks silly.

Let him have a couple of wines before taking photos.

Lamb chops.

Here.

I don't like lamb chops.

Then let me get you...

It doesn't matter.

I'll get it myself.

I'll go and see what kind of meat there is.

I'll go with you then.

You

don't know what she likes to eat?

I don't usually ask her.

Do you even have to ask? You have to observe.

I know

your sister likes vegetarian dishes.

I'll just take some vegetables and fish steak.

Look.

You got married today,

so I save you some face.

What's the big deal?

What are you doing?

Nothing.

What's wrong?

Are you still thinking about Wu Di?

No.

I'm fine with Wu Di

being with anyone,

but I can't stand her

being with Xiao Mo.

Why?

Actually I think

Xiao Mo is not bad.

He even helped you out a few times.

In the disaster area this time,

he saved...

It hurts. It's still hurting.

How dare you drink when you're still hurt?

I know he saved me.

When you say he's nice to me, I...

I always remember

that flight back from France.

He stopped me. He stopped everybody.

Yes, I know

that's not his fault.

He stopped me for my own good.

But I just can't understand

how he can

treat things so inhumanly.

That's human life. That's my mother

Xia Yu, let me be fair.

Don't scold me.

I think Xiao Mo was right.

I know he was right.

But I'm not comfortable with it.

Do you know that?

I don't have to hate him

or blame him.

But I just can't like

this guy.

Do you think Wu Di

can be happy

with someone like Xiao Mo?

The most infuriating thing

was that Wu Di didn't know he was like this.

She is still with him happily every day.

I see them like this.

Can I be happy?

Okay.

I know what you mean.

Then we can avoid him.

For tomorrow's shoot,

why don't you come later?

We'll change to the next group.

Out of sight and out of mind.

What on earth does Wu Di

like about Xiao Mo?

It's okay.

I'll

introduce a girl to you later.

When

you are in a relationship,

everything will be fine.

Hope so.

Let's drink.

Luo Dong.

You guys here?

How come it's only you? Where is Xia Yu?

He... His leg still hurts.

So he'll take it another day.

Then let's go inside.

Okay.

Let's go.

The hat...

Captain Lu, you can hold your hat like this.

Like this.

Right, awesome.

Captain Lu.

Xiao Mo, you're here.

I've been

practicing for a while.

And to be honest,

posing is really not that easy.

Deputy Captain Xiao,

it's nice to meet you again.

Hello.

Hello.

Hello.

You guys know each other?

It's Yan Bing.

We met when we were

in the rescue.

It's my girlfriend, Wu Di.

Nice to meet you.

Thanks to Deputy Captain Xiao,

I've had encountered many natural disasters.

And if it weren't for him,

it would have been

the last time

I could hold a camera in Neilm.

I don't think so.

And that's what we should do.

Anyway, two words, thank you.

Well,

let's cut to the chase.

I'm going to try my best

to make your shooting to your satisfaction, okay?

Sister Yan Bing,

it's ready.

We can start at any time.

Thank you, An Di.

Okay, you are so handsome!

Change your pose.

Okay.

Very well done.

Your group is done.

How about the next group?

No problem, no problem.

We are ready.

I can't wait.

Okay.

Come on, Xiao Mo. Come on.

It's your cockpit.

I'm gonna see how you do it.

Sorry, sorry.

Sorry.

Sorry.

It's okay. Take your time.

Come on.

Take it easy. Take it easy.

Take it easy.

Sorry, sorry.

Sorry.

Deputy Captain Xiao.

Relax your face.

Can you make way?

Okay.

Okay.

Deputy Captain Xiao.

Smile a little more.

Smile. You can change a pose.

Smile.

No, no.

Hand.

Look into the camera. The camera.

Xiao Mo.

Put down.

Xiao Mo.

If you insist,

Wu Di will misunderstand us.

About what?

Change your pose, come on.

You do it. I'm not doing it.

Wait, Xiao Mo.

You can't stand

such a small thing.

An Di.

Get the people out of the room

who aren't involved in the shooting.

No one is allowed

to come in without my orders.

Okay.

Photographer,

I want to stay with him.

I'm afraid he's a little nervous.

You'll make him feel more stressed.

Let's get out of here.

An Di, show them out.

Okay.

Come on.

I'll go.

Don't be nervous. I'll go.

I'm going.

Come on.

Come on, Xiao Mo.

Just practice more.

I've been practicing for a while.

Why would she do that?

She is pretty

but has a wicked tongue.

And she even kicked us out.

I thought I was in there,

so Xiao Mo could be relaxed more.

Yes.

This woman is too unkind.

Listen to the way she's talking.

She's like a female version of Xiao Mo.

How's it going?

Is everything going well?

Yes.

After you left,

Xiao Mo relaxed a lot.

He's just nervous in front of you.

How is that possible? I'll go check it out.

Wait... wait.

Miss Li specifically told

you not to go in.

He must be nervous

when you go in.

He doesn't have many scenes alone.

He'll be down in a minute.

You can't be apart even for a while.

Why are you laughing?

What's so funny?

Nothing.

Are your teeth white?

Mind your own business.

Okay, change your face.

You can smile.

It's much better now.

Is it okay?

Okay, great.

Well done.

Well done, Deputy Captain Xiao.

Do as you said.

I did relax a lot.

In fact, there is another reason why you were

not confident just now.

Your girlfriend was there.

No way.

I've never been

used to the camera.

Drink some water.

You're more nervous

because you care about her.

You don't want to lose face in front of her.

You are fear of failure.

So always want to show

the best side.

It's not that dramatic.

You're unwittingly being

eager to excel.

This kind of excessive eagerness

is also a sign of a lack of confidence.

You seem to know a lot about psychology.

I don't know psychology,

but I am also this kind of person.

So I understand.

Right.

There will be an exhibition in a few days.

I'll invite you and your girlfriend

to watch it together.

Maybe you can find ways

to boost your confidence.

OK, thank you.

You are welcome.

Today's situation

is a test of the pilot's

comprehensive abilities.

Especially if you take off

in the middle of a wet runway,

you might slide out.

I always slide out.

But today is fine.

I am here with you.

Don't forget that

I have been your lucky god.

So just relax.

Finished?

Let's get started.

Wu Di, focus.

Aborted takeoff.

I told you.

You made a lot of progress

on that simulation flight.

Now I don't think about other people.

Of course, I trained without distractions.

Xia Yu, my old friend.

Thank you for always supporting me.

Who is your old friend?

I haven't given up on you.

If Xiao Mo doesn't

treat you well, I'll take you back.

He is so nice to me.

He often guides me on how to fly.

Does he?

After coming back from the disaster area last time,

I don't see how he cares about you.

You said he is your teacher.

Are you pretending to have

a mentoring relationship?

No.

It's only because he's been flying a lot lately.

I don't see him much.

So we don't

talk about flying anymore.

So this time,

I'm on my own.

You are so thoughtful.

I'll see if he can cherish you.

My old friend,

let's go.

Ten Significant Tonic Decoction. Drink it.

Honey, I don't want to.

I just had a meal

and I'm feeling stuffed.

You should take good nutrition recently.

Me too.

We can get ready

to have a baby.

Honey,

didn't we all agree

not to have kids?

That's right. We did.

But people say that

we have good genes.

If we're really not going to have children,

then we'll be irresponsible

for society.

It'd be too bad.

No, no, no. Honey.

You're flying. I'm flying.

We're all flying.

And if we have a child,

who will take care of the child?

Tong, here.

Deputy Captain Xiao.

You haven't signed here.

You see?

Sorry.

It's okay.

Thank you.

Finished?

Brother Ren.

Brother-in-law.

I'm sorry. I'm not used to it yet.

Did something happen to you?

You're flustered.

It's not like you.

Just got back from a long flight.

Maybe a little tired.

You're flying

too much.

You need to mix work and rest, you know?

You don't need to accompany Wu Di?

She is

preparing for the simulator exam recently.

She doesn't need me.

The two of us

are working hard together now.

Working hard is good.

But you have to take care of

your personal life, too.

In this way, you can work better.

That is true.

But I'm also trying to gain some

flying time and experience.

I'm trying to become a captain soon

so that we can be equal.

You're really just like your sister.

You always stick to

what you set out to do.

What?

Your sister is also working hard right now.

Her goal is to have a baby.

She comes back every day to make things difficult for me.

Isn't she just

as rigid as you?

I want to say.

You also need to take care of your personal life

so it doesn't interfere with your work.

You brat.

You'll know my pain

when you get married.

I'm still young.

Cut down on the coffee.

Look, there!

Xiao Mo, Wu Di.

You are here.

Yeah, we haven't seen it all yet.

But you do take good pictures.

Actually,

I'm just a recorder.

These are the forces of nature.

At the time, I said

you were making a mess in the scene,

but now it looks like it all thanks to your record,

or we would not have these pictures.

I think these pictures are very valuable.

Because for those refugees,

they are now rebuilding their homes.

Are these pictures a comfort?

In fact, some good was destroyed.

There is no way to rebuild it.

For example,

seeing pictures of ancient buildings

like this

may not be

much comfort to those

who loved them

but can no longer see them.

What do you think it is?

-Pain. -Pain.

Sister Yan Bing.

I'm sorry.

My friend is there.

I'll go and say hello.

You have a look around, okay?

Okay.

Take your time.

Come on.

Hurry up.

What did you

bring me here for?

I'm trying to introduce

a girl to you.

I asked her to come here.

We should go someplace nicer.

What's this place?

Did you have a bad childhood?

Don't you go to

too many good places?

I'm telling you.

These are my childhood memories.

It's so sweet to see it.

Who is she?

You'll find out in a minute.

She's coming.

Why did you call Yu Jie here?

She and Wu Di

are both your type.

Wu Di is a pilot.

So does she.

Wu Di is beautiful.

She is also pretty, right?

You just like

beautiful pilots, right?

Who told you I like Wu Di

because she's a pilot?

You...

Why is it Xia Yu?

Isn't there a ready-made one?

I'll introduce him to you.

Why should I get a

Wu Di's spare?

Who is the spare?

You.

No.

-What? -Okay.

Stop, don't quarrel.

Actually, I was trying to

introduce myself to both of you.

Can you two have mercy and have fun

with me for a while?

Let's go.

Come on.

Go, go, go.

I didn't realize there were

so many pictures of me.

Among the pilots, seems like

only you in on the pictures.

Seeing this

is like going back to the scene at that time.

Excuse me, I need to answer the phone.

Wu Di,

where's Xiao Mo?

Talking on the phone outside.

Are you still mad about what just happened?

What?

It can't be fun to see

your boyfriend

having a mutual affinity

with another girl.

Yes,

it's not a fun thing.

But you seem to

hit it off with him.

To be honest,

I've been in touch with him for a while

and we really do have chemistry.

Are you saying now that

you and my boyfriend

have chemistry?

Sorry... sorry.

I didn't mean that.

I mean

the way I think is a lot like him.

That's true.

You two are very much alike indeed.

You're all very straightforward.

So I've offended a lot of people.

I almost offended you just now.

But I think

you two are different.

So you think

I'm not the right one for him?

It's not that.

I can see that

Xiao Mo likes you only.

It's just that I think

if you want to be together

for a long time,

you should first

accept your differences,

like habits,

details, etc.

He's back.

Sorry,

I got a call from the company.

They asked me to make a short-distance flight.

I need to go back.

Then I'll go with you.

Okay.

I'll walk you out.

Don't bother.

Let's come here again

in a couple of days when I come back.

I'll be leaving Shenzhen in two days.

How about this?

I'll put all my photographs together

and send them to you.

You can take it as a souvenir.

Thank you.

You are welcome.

Okay. I'll leave first.

Okay.

-Bye. -Please take care.

Bye.

Thank you for your kindness.

Look at you two.

This is just the beginning and you guys are like this already.

Are you going to do it or not?

Are you a masochist?

You like such a violent game.

How nice the merry-go-round is!

It's not violent.

How exciting!

Besides, I don't know

how you passed

your pilot test.

Fine.

You two must be thirsty.

I'm gonna buy you two

some drinks.

Luo Dong is just matching people together randomly.

I don't think we can

have anything between us.

It's a waste of time.

I don't think it's a waste of time.

I had a good time.

Fine.

If you had fun,

then keep having fun.

I'm going.

-You're leaving now? -Bye.

I'll go to work later.

And you just study hard.

Will you stop

talking to me

with that tone?

What's the tone?

The tone of command.

I am your girlfriend.

You are not my teacher.

What's wrong?

I don't know anything

about you

except for flying airplanes.

What do you like

or dislike?

What you eat and don't eat?

Is there anything you are afraid of

or good at?

I don't know any of these.

You don't know me either.

Haven't we

just been together?

We need to get to know each other slowly.

Slowly?

Then why do people

know so much about you

after only meeting you a few times?

You mean Li Yan Bing?

Yes.

Last time I gave you encouragement

when you were shooting photos

and then you got nervous.

She gave you encouragement and it's okay.

It seems to be the same over there.

Pain.

You said it at the same time.

So

you two rehearsed it,

didn't you?

Of course not.

So what does that tell us?

That means we don't have chemistry.

You're not like her.

So you're just like her?

So you guys have chemistry.

She just told me

you two

has a mutual affinity.

What's going on?

Well, I'm going to be late.

What?

I'm going to be late.

Let's go.

Go.

Who else do you have chemistry with?

Other than with her,

do you have chemistry with anyone else?

How can you have chemistry

with so many people?

Look for the car first.

Tell me.

Still studying at this late hour?

You catch a cold?

Do you want to take some medicine?

Getting sick in the exam is trouble.

I'm okay.

I just have a runny nose.

I can't take any medicine now.

Otherwise,

I'm sure I'll be sleepy tomorrow.

Why don't you apply for a makeup exam?

No.

I'm going to take this test

to prove that

I can do it without Xiao Mo.

I don't need him

to be my teacher anymore.

Not even your boyfriend?

That depends on

if he thinks I'm his girlfriend.

What happened?

Wasn't everything fine before?

Wei Wei.

I have a lot of things

left to learn now.

Can I explain them to you another day?

Okay, okay.

You go on studying and I'll

get some medicine for you.

Remember to drink the water.

How come you're so nice?

You are my angle, Wei Wei.

Beautiful and kind-hearted.

What would I do without you?

Just learn.

I'll be back in a minute.

Be careful when you go out.

Okay.

Du Wei.

What is that?

Sick?

Not me.

Who then?

Wu Di? What happened?

I don't know what's going on between you two.

She is at home,

trying to look strong,

and is reading all night while she is sick.

You should know

exactly why.

Could you do me a favor?

Drink the medicine while it's hot.

What's it?

A medicine with a secret recipe.

It will definitely save your life.

So bitter.

That's my girl.

Go to bed early.

Are you ready?

Just act like usual.

Don't be nervous.

OK.

OK?

Ready.

EPR 1.1.

Parameters are stable.

Parameters are stable. Eighty.

Thrust setting.

One zero zero.

Climbing.

Gear up.

Gear up. Autopilot on.

Confirmed.

Good job.

Good job.

All right.

All members have passed the flight simulator assessment.

With the flight simulator assessment done,

the most exciting moment for you

has arrived.

Do you know what that is?

To pilot a large civil aviation aircraft!

Yes, a large aircraft.

A large civil aviation aircraft.

A large aircraft carrying passengers.

But at the same time,

the responsibility you shoulder

has gotten heavier.

This means

you mustn't make

the slightest mistake.

Once an error occurs,

human lives will be at stake.

Local flight

is used for you to adapt to this matter.

You'll pilot a large aircraft without passengers,

carrying out take-offs and landings at the airport.

Since traffic at the airport

is very busy,

your training

will be set in the early mornings.

Of course,

we cannot waste our time during the day, either.

You will experience the working environment of each type of job

in civil aviation.

You'll gain valuable experience

from the various positions

to enrich yourself.

Is everyone clear on this?

Yes.

This is for you.

Thanks.

Hello, I'm here for a package.

Alright.

Here you go, Captain Xiao.

(Xiao Mo, this is the album)

(I promised to send you.)

(I hope you like it.)

(It's unavoidable in life that we)

(cover ourselves in protective colors)

(in order to feel safer and more confident.)

(But sometimes)

(we need to remove them)

(to live more comfortably and freely.)

(I wish that you'll fly higher and even better.)
