♥ Eternal Love of Dream ♥

Episode 15

Your Majesty, we have reached the Yue Hua Palace.

Will you go inside, Your Majesty?

= Yue Hua Palace =

Unconsciously,

we are here.

It used to be a busy and cheering place,

but now

it's cold and cheerless.

I won't go inside.

Have a walk with me.

Yes.

Mother,

I have been married to His Majesty of the State of Chengyu.

His Majesty was depressed recently.

I hope your spirit

can bless His Majesty everything going well.

Imperial Concubine Wan.

I pay respects to Your Majesty.

Rise.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

It's so late. Who are you worshiping?

I...

It's your mother's memorial day.

Please forgive me.

I didn't want to violate the rules of the palace purposely,

having a worship in the palace without permission.

Today is my mother's memorial day.

Missing my mother so much,

I came here to worship her under the cover of night when few people went here.

Please punish me.

It doesn't matter.

It's human nature to worship deceased family members.

You showed filial piety to your mother.

How could I punish you?

Thank you, Your Majesty.

It's your birthday today, right?

I promised to celebrate your birthday with you.

But because of the business in the palace,

I forgot it.

It's not important to celebrate my birthday.

Recently, you're worrying about Sister Jiu's case,

finding no way out.

I feel regretful that

I can't share your worry.

Worshiping your mother here,

why do you take a Qin along with you?

Your Majesty.

When I was young, my father told me that

my mother liked to listen to the music of my hometown.

Therefore, each time I worship my mother,

I will take the Qin

and play for her.

Since it is so,

play a tune for your mother.

I also want to hear it.

Thank you for helping me, Your Majesty.

Is the melody from the palace?

Your Highness, do you know

what His Majesty is doing now?

Your Majesty,

this is the second time that you have locked me up.

Will the ending be the same as the last time?

Your Highness,

His Majesty must be busy with

our case.

He will prove us innocent soon.

Right?

If I was killed this time,

would His Majesty

go through his romance misfortune?

How is everything going, Qingti?

Your Majesty.

Having investigated related people,

I haven't had a clue yet.

With seven days' limitation, the deadline is near.

But you said you hadn't found a clue yet.

General Ye,

how did you investigate the case?

Although there is no direct evidence

to prove Her Highness Jiu's innocence,

I think

Her Highness must be guiltless.

Why?

If she intended to plot to assassinate,

she would have acted before Double Seventh Festival

to put Your Majesty to death.

Why did she delay it?

Moreover,

she ever saved Your Majesty

and me in the battlefield.

She has no motive to kill me.

I know it.

Being naive, kind and straightforward,

Her Highness Jiu is not shrew and deep.

Your Majesty, please have an upright judgement.

All the evidences are not good for Xiaojiu.

How can I protect her?

It's possible that the person who poisoned would destroy the evidence.

Even though there isn't evidence,

Her Highness Jiu is still innocent.

Your Majesty,

she is your concubine.

If you don't protect her,

then...

I know she is innocent from the beginning.

Qingti.

I'm the emperor,

not a common person.

This is the palace,

not a citizen's home.

Trust can't save her life.

Your Majesty.

What I need is the evidence that can prove her innocence

to get rid of the bad thoughts of those who have bad intentions,

not your nonsense.

I know.

I'm sure to try my best to find out the evidence to

prove Her Highness Jiu's innocence before the deadline.

General Ye.

Tell me

how to make sorrowless cake in detail.

You still don't believe me, right?

No.

I have interrogated those involved,

only to find that they don't have the chance to poison.

In the whole palace, only you can make sorrowless cake.

If I can't find strong evidences,

it's hard for me to exonerate you.

What are the ingredients?

Tell me.

Then I can ask the imperial physician to verify them.

But both you and His Majesty

have ever eaten the sorrowless cake that I made.

If I want to murder you,

then....

Xiaojiu.

The deadline is near.

You're in the situation of life and death now.

If you don't clarify everything,

I can't save you even though I want.

Sorrowless flower.

What's it?

I've never heard of it.

It's a kind of flower from my hometown.

OK.

Where is your hometown?

I...

You still want to hide something?

Since we knew each other,

you have hidden your family background.

Could it be that you are an escaped prisoner?

No, I'm not.

Since you're not an escaped prisoner,

why can't you tell me your family background?

Why did you come to the palace?

You always ask me to look for Zhou Mengxi,

but you even don't know

what she is.

It's hard to avoid being suspected.

If you can't make it clear,

I can't help to exonerate you.

You can leave, General Ye.

You...

If you can't believe me,

I have no ways to help you.

Guards.

Take her back.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

I didn't do you a favor

but added some trouble.

Muyun,

I

didn't tell my background to General Ye.

Will you blame me?

No.

These days,

I have been staying with you,

knowing what kind of person you are, Your Highness.

Your Highness, you must have your own reason so that you are reluctant to tell him.

Thank you for understanding me.

However,

the deadline is near.

If General Ye still can't find anything,

we...

If he can't find anything,

I'm sure to save you.

I won't let you die here wrongly.

Your Highness.

You've been in the prison.

What's your solution?

I'm sure to save you.

Don't you believe me?

I believe.

I believe you forever.

Take it easy. Mufeng Butterfly.

I got you into trouble last time.

Even though I suffered the backfire this time,

I won't let you die because of me again.

Demon Lord.

It says in the letter that Chu Wan is winning

the trust of His Majesty of State of Chengyu.

It appears that we will know the whereabouts of Lingbi Stone soon.

Soon?

It means we still don't know the whereabouts.

Since Princess Ji Heng is wise,

I'm sure that she can find some clues,

hoping you can focus on recovering your body.

It's better for us to wait for more days.

There must be good news at that time.

Your Majesty,

Imperial Concubine Wan is here.

Let her in.

Yes.

I pay respects to Your Majesty.

It's so late.

Why do you come here?

Hearing that you don't have a good appetite these days,

I specially made the Osmanthus Jiuniang,

hoping you can taste it.

You specially come to send me this?

No.

Recently, I've learned some refreshing skills

from the servants in the palace.

Your Majesty, you are busy with memorials to the throne these days.

If you don't mind,

I'd like to show my skills

to relax your body.

Since you are so considerate,

how can I refuse your kindness?

Xiaojiu.

Your Majesty.

Xiaojiu.

Imperial Concubine Wan.

Why are you here?

Your Majesty.

You had a dream?

How can I fall asleep?

Maybe it's because I put wine in the Osmanthus porridge

that I made,

and you are tired from reading memorials to the throne,

you fell asleep unconsciously.

Your Majesty,

you're busy with work.

It's not convenient for me to be here disturbing you.

OK.

Guards.

Here.

Send Imperial Concubine Wan back to her palace.

Yes.

Your Highness, please.

I'm leaving.

Yang Shun.

Your Majesty.

Go out with me.

Yes.

Your Highness.

So you mean

Lingbi Stone is not in His Majesty's resting place.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

No.

No. Xiaojiu.

I have searched over the whole palace.

Could it be somewhere that I missed?

Your Highness.

Ling Xiang.

In my view,

the palace is so big.

It's possible that

we didn't search every place carefully.

From tomorrow,

you search everywhere again

in case there's somewhere we missed.

I know.

You suffered, Xiaojiu.

Your Majesty.

Is it true that I'm going to be executed,

so you come to see me the last time?

I'm here to take you away.

Take me away?

Won't the Empress Dowager investigate it anymore?

As long as you can tell me everything,

I'm sure you are safe in front of the Empress Dowager.

You don't believe me?

Of course I believe you.

But if you don't say anything,

how can I save you?

What should I say?

Just tell

where the sorrowless flower comes from

and where you are from.

I can't say that.

You can't tell?

I'm saving you.

But I can't say that.

Why?

No reason.

It's not time to get angry now.

If you are angry with me

because I put you into prison,

after you get out of here,

I'm at your disposal.

But you must tell me now.

Your Majesty.

Do you really love me?

Do you love me sincerely?

Or do you just think I'm fresh and interesting?

I can't sleep all night because of you.

Even the state affairs have been delayed.

Do you still suspect me?

If you love me sincerely

and I die wrongly this time,

when everything is clear later,

you must feel deep pain because of losing your beloved forever.

In this way can you go through your romance misfortune

smoothly?

I dare not.

I have my reasons.

So I can't tell you.

Your Majesty, are you willing to believe me?

You...

Why?

In the palace,

even my favor

can't compete against the law.

Could it be that you really have another purpose?

Xiaojiu.

Talk with me.

Xiaojiu, raise your head and look at me.

Why did you come to the palace?

Why did you come to the palace?

What you said

are all false to me, right?

How can I tell you that

I'm here in the mortal realm to help you go through your romance misfortune?

How can I tell you

I'm the Princess of Qingqiu.

Everything I do is to repay your kindness.

So that's what it is.

What you did...

I see.

Eventually God will

take back the wrong fate.

You said Fengjiu would be executed.

What's wrong?

Don't worry, Lord.

Her Highness went to the mortal realm to have some experiences.

It's different from His Majesty who went to the mortal realm as a common person.

Even though in the mortal realm, Her Highness is still an immortal.

She can use magic arts to protect herself.

Won't she be backfired?

Why are you still peaceful?

Peaceful?

Don't worry.

Her Highness has a life full of lucky escapes.

She has solutions to go through the misfortune.

OK.

Since you don't save her, I will save her.

Lord.

Wait me to finish my words.

Zhou Mengxi has been dead.

At present, Her Highness is the romance misfortune that His Majesty would go through.

What?

All the changes in the mortal realm

were caused because Her Highness went there privately.

She disturbed the fortunes in the mortal realm

as well as the fates among people.

So the misfortune came into being.

Neither you nor I can offer help.

Otherwise,

the situation in the mortal realm

will be worse and worse.

Then how can it end?

How unlucky she is!

If she becomes the romance misfortune

and we can't be involved,

how can we help her?

Right.

She is suffering in the prison.

Can I just stand by without doing anything?

Her Highness went to the mortal realm this time.

There exists a fixed fate.

Maybe she has her own fate.

Moreover,

before the end of the romance misfortune,

there must be some hints in my Book of Fate.

Naturally I will give her a helping hand at that time.

It's not the right time now.

The lotus in the lotus pond came into being by human heart.

I'm afraid in the Eight Deserts and Six Directions

you can't find more beautiful lotus.

I'm wondering if you like them?

Very beautiful.

Having agreed to appreciate the lotus here,

why do you have a worried face?

It doesn't count this time.

The more you get, the more you want.

Do all the men behave like this,

just thinking of yourselves?

Why do you think so?

It's about Emperor Dong Hua.

He just went to the mortal realm to experience his misfortune.

Why did he bother...

Forget it. You won't understand.

You always say that I don't understand.

How do you know that I can't understand?

What about telling me in detail?

I don't know how to say it

and where to begin.

All the women are the same.

His Majesty is in the Sky Kingdom.

He doesn't know everything.

Now he is in the mortal realm,

so it's certain that he lost his memory.

All...

All the women?

Birds of a feather.

Why do you leave so suddenly?

Xiaojiu.

General Ye.

Are you here to see me off?

Are you so easy to give up?

What can I do if I don't give up?

His Majesty has given me up.

His Majesty gives you up.

Then you will give up yourself, right?

Since you give up so easily,

is there any difference between you

and the weak girls in the world?

What do you want me to do?

I've been locked in the prison.

If you don't want to tell your background.

Then think of the situation that day

in detail

to say if there's something you didn't notice.

This is the only way to save you

and them now.

Your Highness.

Time isn't up.

As long as there is chance,

don't give up.

I asked Muyun to send the sorrowless cake that I made

to the Imperial Kitchen,

as for the rest things, I didn't take in charge.

Later,

as for the sorrowless cake in the banquet,

just from the surface,

do you think if there were some signs that it was changed?

One tray of sorrowless cake is ready.

Muyun.

I'll put them in the plate for you before you serve them to the Imperial Kitchen.

The people from the Imperial Kitchen will spread these for them tomorrow.

Yes, Your Highness.

They were changed.

What?

The sorrowless cake that I gave Muyun

were put in a five-petal plate.

But the plate in the palace was changed.

Could it be someone...

How can't I expect that?

I haven't finished my words.

General.

You have checked the sorrowless cake, haven't you?

Indeed there exists Lophophora williamsii poison.

Where is the porcelain where the sorrowless cake were put?

It has been lost.

Your Majesty.

It's cold.

Take care of your health.

Do you think what I did

is right?

Your Majesty,

in my heart,

I also feel pity for Sister Jiu.

But we need an explanation

to Empress Dowager,

dukes, ministers

and the Chief Eunuch who died wrongly.

More importantly,

it's to those who have bad intentions.

Grind the ink for me.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

I'm curious about one thing.

I want to turn to you.

Say it.

When I was in state of Chong'an,

I heard that there was a national treasure in State of Chengyu,

called

Lingbi Stone.

It's said that State of Chengyu was built

because of the protection and blessing of this precious stone.

I'm wondering if there is any difference

between this stone and the other stones.

If I'm lucky enough,

I want to have a look.

Since it's a legend,

it's exaggerated unavoidably.

No need to take it seriously.

Now that you love jewelry,

I will order the craftsman to make one for you.

Your Majesty.

I'm happy to be spoiled by you.

= Chengming Hall =

Rise.

General Ye.

Time is up.

As for the case of sorrowless cake,

I'm wondering if there is any progress.

I just want to report it to you.

Your Majesty.

After seven-days investigations and finding evidences,

I have made some progress.

Please send an imperial edict,

permitting me to take some human testimony and physical evidences to the palace

to show you

how to disclose the truth of the poison case.

Disclose it as quickly as possible.

Come in.

Look.

He is pulling a dog.

Hmm.

How abrupt!

Everybody,

the sorrowless cake is not poisonous.

I'd like to try them.

General Ye, don't eat it.

General Ye.

Your Majesty.

Everybody.

I'd like to risk my life to show you the sorrowless cake is nontoxic.

If I'm unlucky to die by eating it,

that's because I didn't handle the case well and I deserve it.

I'd like to apologize for my offense with death.

He really ate it.

He isn't afraid.

Is he OK?

He really ate it.

How brave he is!

Maybe you're wondering

why I'm OK after eating it.

But the Chief Eunuch just had a bite

and died because of poison.

Now I will show you again.

Watch carefully.

What are the differences between the two cakes?

Well.

How could it be this?

Yeah.

It's toxic.

Why is it so?

What's the matter?

It's the same cake.

Why am I fine after eating it

while the dog died after eating it?

Of course,

I didn't take antidote in advance.

Could it be that

it's not poisonous on the surface of the sorrowless cake?

The part

close to the vessel is poisonous.

The upper part is safe.

So the real murderer

is not Her Highness Jiu, the maker of the sorrowless cake,

but the servant who secretly changed the plate.

General Ye.

Do you have conclusive evidence?

The vessel that the sorrowless cake was put

was broken by the Chief Eunuch.

Then you don't have evidence.

It's just your guess.

No.

I have the evidence.

This fragment was found

under the potting of the banquet that day.

Search it.

Yes.

General.

The crumbles left on the fragment

is the same with those

scraped from the sorrowless cake.

There is Lophophora williamsii poison in it.

I can confirm that

the poisoner is the person who changed the vessel,

not Her Highness Jiu.

Then who is

the poisoner on earth?

Guards.

Take the maid, Sang here.

I have queried all Imperial Cooks.

They said they were in the Imperial Kitchen checking

the cakes and food sent from different palaces.

Different palaces use

different vessels.

For example, the Wan Yun Palace used a celadon saucer,

while Yue Hua Palace used a white porcelain five-petal plate.

Her Highness Jiu

presented the cake in a white porcelain five-petal plate.

All the Imperial Cooks can prove it.

Why was the vessel containing the sorrowless cake

changed into a white porcelain round plate at last?

I...

Your Majesty.

I don't know anything.

She changed it.

All the people's words

can evidence for themselves.

Only this maid, Sang firmly claimed that

it was the vessel from Yue Hua Palace.

But she didn't know what the vessel in Yue Hua Palace

looked like.

The maid didn't tell the truth.

It's hard to evidence with those of the Imperial Cooks.

With my interrogation, she confessed that

she was the prisoner.

Why did you poison me?

Because you are not qualified

to be the emperor of state of Chengyu.

How bold you are!

How dare you be so rude to His Majesty?

His Majesty?

You are just a fatuous person

hankering after beautiful women.

You are not qualified to be the emperor of state of Chengyu.

She is killed?

It was so dangerous just now.

Your Majesty, you're frightened.

The real murderer has been executed.

Take it easy. Your Majesty.

She deserved to be killed.

I'm here to take you home.

Your Majesty.

What happened? Do you believe me?

Qingti has investigated that

the prisoner was someone else.

You were wronged.

Sorry to hurt you.

You'd like to believe me?

I misunderstood you,

saying some harsh words.

I

am sorry for you.

You'd like to believe me?

Will you forgive me?

I have never blamed you.

Never.

Your Majesty.

I miss you so much.

It's time to screen

the maids and eunuchs in the palace.

Yes.

Sorry to frighten you.

Xiaojiu, owing you much,

I plan to confer the title of Madam Jiu on you.

Madam?

I will confer you the title of Madam Jiu,

granting you to live in Xi Ning Palace.

Your Majesty, is it too hasty for you to make this decision?

I want to do something for you.

Don't refuse me.

Thank you for your favor and kindness.

I have a request.

Say it.

Can I keep living in Yue Hua Palace

instead of going to Xi Ning Palace?

Yue Hua Palace also has complete furnishings,

but it's a little small.

According to your present status,

you should live in a bigger palace.

Each time I change my living place,

naturally I can't sleep well at night.

It's not easy for me to be used to living in Yue Hua Palace.

I don't want to move to Xi Ning Palace.

OK.

As you like,

you can still live in Yue Hua Palace.

Thank you. Your Majesty.

As for the awards matching your status of Madam,

I will order the servants to prepare

and send them to Yue Hua Palace as soon as possible.

No need.

I always don't like these things.

Just keep them simple.

You shouldn't been treated shabbily.

You are the Madam now,

but your parents can't share the good life with you.

It's not perfect.

What about my telling all the people in the state

to look for your parents?

Thank you for your favor. Your Majesty.

Maybe my parents are

travelling in another state now.

It's not an effective way.

Besides, you drag people to look for my parents so abruptly.

I don't want Your Majesty and me to bear the criticism.

OK.

Just put it aside.

I'm so greedy that I didn't solve it properly.

If things continue this way,

how can I make His Majesty safe?

It's better for me to make a decision early.

Your Majesty.

As for the awards, I have prepared them well.

Please have a look.

OK.

By the way,

send the nerve soothing incense that I concocted for Madam Jiu

and the gilding censer decorated with a wandering dragon

to her as well.

Yes.

Your Majesty,

you are really sincere to Madam Jiu.

It's good for you to know it.
