=Dance of the Phoenix=

(Episode 27)

You had such a great opportunity at the Sky-reaching Terrance.

Even though Feng Wu achieved the Spiritual Elder's rank,

she was too weak to exert all her power.

You were strong enough

to put her down.

Why did you let her go?

Even the heavenly lightning failed to kill them.

It shows the time wasn't right.

If we went against fate,

we might pay unnecessary prices.

Besides,

Yu Mingye risked his life to protect that girl.

I'll make sure she dies

for the greater cause.

But she shouldn't die now.

Fool.

If Feng Wu is right

that three Star Shards

can wake up Mu Jiuzhou,

then all the hard work we've done over the years

will be for nothing.

Do you understand?

Please don't be angry, aunt.

The Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring is still in our hands.

Though Feng Wu possesses all the Star Shards,

she won't be able to wake up Mu Jiuzhou.

And even if he wakes up,

he won't have the strong spirit energy

he had in his prime,

now that he's failed

to pass the Heavenly Tribulation and slept for years.

I'll fight him.

I'm confident that I will defeat him.

You're risking everything I have

to satisfy your desire to win.

No.

Mu Jiuzhou must not come back to life.

Zuo Qingluan.

Yes.

Bring Feng Wu's family here.

Force her to give up.

But

we are a righteous sect.

It's a pity that we lost to them in a head-to-head battle,

but it's not shameful.

Now you're asking me to hurt innocent people,

I...

Can you please sober up?

You're practicing Demonic Cultivation Skills.

You have killed your Junior Sister.

You think you are the same person you once were?

I can't believe you're still clinging

to the righteous sect's hypocrisy.

Ridiculous.

Your Majesty, you...

Only the winners

can ignore other people's opinions.

Do you understand?

Yes.

Wait.

I'll keep this

for you.

If they take it away,

it will help them.

Go.

Yes.

It seems the plan

must be implemented ahead of schedule.

Gao Wei.

You know what to do.

Yes.

Go.

Yes.

I only have

one question for you.

Now...

Say no more.

Over twenty years ago,

I swore to protect you.

I still haven't

changed my mind.

Alright.

I need you

to gather the whole Darknight Court

in the capital and wait for my orders.

Darknight Court has suffered losses.

If we stake everything on this,

I'm afraid...

Zuo Qingluan is just my pawn.

If we can't stop Mu Jiuzhou from waking up,

I'll need you to go all out.

You must eliminate Mu Jiuzhou and Feng Zhou

even if it means going against the other three sects.

What?

You are unwilling?

You just said

you'd protect me.

Now I'm asking you to stake everything on this

and join me in the fight,

but you're unwilling.

It seems

you don't do as you say.

Ziyan,

I can stake the whole Darknight Court on this.

Even if our plan failed

I'd be willing to die with you.

Fail?

Why would it fail?

The whole Qianyuan Continent

will be mine.

Okay.

Give me my Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring.

You colluded with the demon.

How dare you enter Junwu Academy?

You think the cultivators here

won't attack you?

Zuo Qingluan,

you said there was an old fairy on Baiding Mountain

who could prove Feng Wu's identity.

You made that up to lure me there.

Feng Wu met Miss Wolf

on the mountain because of me.

How can you bend the truth

and accuse Feng Wu of colluding with the demon?

Junior Sister,

the leader of Celestial Palace has ordered you

to stop meddling in this.

Besides,

don't you have the slightest doubt?

I...

Stop alienating us from another.

You said all that

to stop me from waking up my Master

and exposing your lies.

Give me my Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring

and we can talk things out.

You claim Mu Jiuzhou is your Master.

Ridiculous.

When Mu Jiuzhou disintegrated,

you weren't even born.

Besides, you are not even Feng Wu.

The real Feng Wu was...

Was killed by you, right?

Zuo Qingluan, you have finally admitted it.

You launched a sneak attack

to steal Phoenix Blood.

Look how despicable your actions are.

You have no right to talk about eliminating demons and upholding justice.

You're just making excuses to defend yourself.

Fine.

You've refused to admit the fact.

But I'd like to see you deny it

in front of your closest ones.

Mom. Qiu Ling.

Zuo Qingluan, you shameless bastard.

I'm a shameless bastard?

You pretend to be Feng Wu

and live her life.

Aren't you a shameless bastard?

Forgive me, Madam.

It concerns Junwu Clan's future

and your daughter's life.

I had no choice

but to invite you here in this way.

Madam,

you lived with Feng Wu.

I'm sure you can notice

what's wrong with her.

Feng Wu,

will you make more excuses to defend yourself

in front of your mother who nurtured you

and your maid who kept you company every day?

I don't understand, Goddess Zuo.

You said Feng Wu is not Feng Wu.

Then who is she?

What about you?

Have you been deceived by the fake Feng Wu too?

I only serve one lady

and that's her.

Threaten us all you want,

I won't betray my Young Lady.

But she lied!

Senior Sister, don't let this ruin your manners.

Don't touch me.

Why?

Why do you all

believe the fake Feng Wu?

A just cause enjoys abundant support, while an unjust one finds little support.

Zuo Qingluan,

do you still not understand?

Cut the crap.

It's time

to end

our feud.

My Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring.

Do you want it?

Go in there and get it.

Master!

-Feng Wu! -My Lady!

Feng Wu,

you'll lose in the end.

Feng Wu!

Zuo Qingluan,

what did you do?

Your Highness Jun,

your Feng Wu

will never come back.

It's useless.

Nobody can break

the energy barrier of Illusion Mirror.

It's Celestial Palace's treasure Illusion Mirror.

I have heard of this thing.

It's said

this is the ultimate treasure created by Master Mu.

Once a person enters the void of Illusion Mirror,

she'll face her inner demons.

If she can't overcome her inner demons,

she'll be trapped inside

and disintegrate.

Zuo Qingluan, you are so cruel.

I'll return to beg Celestial Palace's leader.

Perhaps there's a way out.

Junior Sister,

don't waste your strength.

Boss Jun, what are you doing?

I'm going in there to save her.

Jun Linyuan,

you know

she is not the Feng Wu

who has been engaged to you since childhood.

Why are you fighting for her?

Do you know

the consequences

of breaking into Illusion Mirror?

I don't care about the consequences.

I won't give up her.

Why?

You are doing so much

for a person of unknown origin.

I'd like to ask you why.

You used to care about the people.

What made you turn into the person you are today?

Wake up.

Will you hurt so many people

for your selfish desires?

I won't let you treat Wu this way.

Junior Sister.

Even you go against me.

Now I don't

care about anything.

No one must have

the things I don't have.

I'm destroying her right now.

I'd like to see

whoever can save her.

No!

-Boss Jun! -Your Highness Jun!

-Senior Sister Zuo! -Senior Sister Zuo!

Illusion Mirror

Every space is a combination of truths and illusions.

The person in a space will be deceived by the illusions.

She'll think she's back in time or time has been reset

Then her inner demons will plague her

and her desires will bewitch her.

What's wrong, Linyuan?

No.

You are not my mom.

My mom died giving birth to me.

But I'm back.

You are not back.

You can't be back.

It's a fact.

My Linyuan has grown up.

You no longer need me.

No.

You have always been with me

and here.

But you shouldn't be here.

Let's go home.

Feng Wu.

Feng Wu.

Your Highness Jun.

You can see me?

Then why did Feng Wu...

This is the void of inner demons.

Souls and souls don't cross paths.

It's normal that she can't see you.

Why didn't you warn Feng Wu

that this was an illusion?

It's not completely an illusion.

This Mirror

only provides a wonderful possibility.

If she indulges in this,

she won't make any progress.

I see.

Thank you for enlightening me.

Father?

My Lady, come on.

Sit down. Sit down.

Sit down.

Kid.

Here.

I have got a table

full of your favorite food.

Come on. Let's eat.

Feng Wu, eat up.

What's going on?

What do you mean, Feng Wu?

Your father prepared all these dishes for you.

Eat up.

Mom.

Why are you...

My Lady.

Has too much sleep muddled your head?

Madam has always been like this.

Wu,

has cultivation worn you out?

You can relax for a while.

Have some rest.

Yes, Wu.

You shouldn't always stay at home.

His Highness Jun has sent an invitation letter,

asking you to hang out at his place.

You should accept his invitation, Feng Wu.

Spend some time to bond with His Highness Jun.

Right?

His Highness Jun is really thoughtful.

He knows your hobbies.

Wu,

I envy you so much.

If you marry him,

you'll be Spiritual Princess.

Spiritual Princess?

I thought Holy Queen Gao favored Zuo Qingluan the most.

Zuo Qingluan is nothing.

Feng Wu,

you are Celestial Palace's Goddess

and Master Mu's successor.

Nobody can compete with you in this world.

Besides,

Holy Queen Gao favors you the most.

I'm Celestial Palace's Goddess?

Has too much work reeled your head?

You look dizzy.

What...

What is going on?

Feng Wu.

Wake up.

Feng Wu.

This is an illusion.

Your Highness Jun.

What's wrong?

When spring comes,

we should live in our old house

for a while.

-Oh yeah. -Good!

Feng Wu has never visited the border before.

Right, Feng Wu?

Great. Great.

Of course I have visited the border.

New ointment.

Madam,

are you troubled by having a child who cries non-stop at night?

-Try this ointment. -No. I don't want it.

Madam, do you want the new ointment?

-It can treat injuries... -No. No.

Mister, do you want the new ointment?

No. No.

My Lady,

a big drugstore has opened across the street.

Business has become slower for us.

Feng Wu.

Where is my Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring?

No.

I'm here for the Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring.

Come to get it. Come on.

Give it back to me!

Catch it.

Give it back to me!

Let's go.

Here you are.

Be careful next time.

Feng Wu.

You know me?

Eventually you're back.

Eh...

Feng Wu, wake up.

Higher. Higher.

-How is it? Is it fun? -Higher.

Higher.

Feng Wu, wake up.

Feng Wu!

Feng Wu!

No.

Feng Wu, are you happy?

No.

-What's wrong, Feng Wu? -Enough!

What's wrong, Feng Wu?

Don't you love

the whole family being together?

Yeah.

I love it.

Then why did you say no?

My Phoenix Blood...

This is the battle between Feng Wu

and Zuo Qingluan that happened three years ago.

There shouldn't be two female geniuses in the capital.

I'm here already.

You are not needed.

If you keep what happened today between us secret

and promise me not to return to the capital in this life,

I will spare your life.

Not a chance!

Once I recover my cultivation base,

I'll take back the things that were once mine.

Then I can't let you live

to cause me trouble.

Jun Linyuan.

I'm fine.

I lost to you in the end.

will disappear along with Illusion Mirror.
