=Dance of the Phoenix=

(Episode 24)

That's to say,

Feng Wu is indeed livelier and brighter now.

Previously, after her father passed away,

she always kept things to herself.

But all the people will grow up.

That doesn't show anything.

But don't you think since she came to the capital,

it seems nothing has happened by chance

but done on purpose after being carefully planned?

If the current Feng Wu

is really someone else,

won't all these coincidences make sense?

I guess

someone must be

guiding the current Feng Wu secretly

for some purpose we don't know.

Zhao Ge,

think about it.

I've always been on your side

and considerate of you. Do you think I'll harm you?

I just don't want you to be deceived

and used because of being kind and innocent.

Zhao Ge, we're at a critical juncture.

If you think of anything,

don't keep it from me again.

Think about it.

If the current Feng Wu is really a fake,

where's the real one?

Is she dead or alive?

Have you thought about these questions?

Did you think of something?

I saw Wu talking

to the ring on her chest.

Ring?

Senior Sister.

Can you prove what you said?

Yes,

but I need your cooperation.

me?

Is Wu

really a fake?

Why hasn't she come back?

Zhao Ge.

Wu.

Great.

I thought you got lost.

Wu, you're back.

You were away for a long time

so I came back first.

I'm sorry.

I had got rid of Yu Mingye

but later I ran into Jun Linyuan.

Are you mad at me?

It's okay. It's okay.

You were supposed to watch

the fireworks with His Highness Jun tonight.

Zhao Ge,

you're really a good friend.

I'll make

a new thing for you.

Master Feng noodles.

What do you think?

You must be tired.

I've prepared your clothes.

Take a warm bath.

I've got the water ready for you.

It'll get cold soon.

I'll do it now.

You're really something.

We're killing two birds with one stone.

Your Majesty,

now we just need

to wait for Feng Wu

to walk into our trap.

I hope we can smoothly dispose of her this time.

The Purgatorial Place?

The Purgatorial Place is located

on Baiding Mountain outside the capital.

It's said

that an old fairy with great spirit energy is living in seclusion there.

She's psychic

and does best in casting out demons.

Take the ring you talked about to her.

She will resolve your doubts.

It'll be great if our concern

is misplaced.

But if I guessed right

and Feng Wu is really a fake,

it'll be a serious matter.

You can't imagine what it'll involve.

So

you mustn't tell anyone.

Do you know?

Your Majesty,

I mentioned that before.

Don't worry.

I remember it.

Zhao Ge is my junior sister's child.

I won't let her be in danger.

But Feng Wu will be a pitiful sight.

She'll never know

what's waiting for her

on Baiding Mountain.

Get up now.

You did a good job

and solved a big issue.

But

you should have shown me that ring.

If it's really a boon for cultivators,

it'll be a shame to waste like that.

I've been negligent.

It's okay.

You've done really well.

Go and keep practising.

Yes.

To be on the safe side,

you go there as well.

Find a chance, net them all

and rid us of any further trouble.

Where on earth is that old fairy?

Did I come to the wrong place?

About thirty minutes ago,

there was indeed a female disciple from Junwu Academy

who went out of town.

Do you know where she was going?

I have no idea.

But before she left, she asked other guards

how to get to Baiding Mountain.

Baiding Mountain.

Miss, you must stay away from that place.

There's a demon on it.

How come there's a demon around the capital

and it hasn't been killed?

You cultivators have seen

so many demonic beasts.

But you seldom see one in the human form, don't you?

A 1000-year-old Demon Wolf is confined on Baiding Mountain.

It was subdued by Mu Jiuzhou.

No one dares to get close to it except him,

let alone killing it.

But Miss, are you really going there?

My friend is most likely there.

I must go and check.

Thanks.

Feng Wu.

Feng Wu.

It's really you.

What are you doing here?

Zhao Ge is missing.

I'm looking for her.

What's going on?

A guard said Zhao Ge may have gone to Baiding Mountain.

So I'm going there.

No.

How could you go there alone?

I'll go with you.

No, you can't.

What if the guard was mistaken

and

Zhao Ge has gone back to the Academy?

You should go back and check.

By the way,

tell Jun Linyuan

my Dragon Phoenix Spirit Ring is missing.

Ask him to pay attention to it.

Okay.

Feng Wu, I haven't finished speaking yet.

Be careful.

Baiding Mountain?

You mean Feng Wu?

Yes.

She has got to the mountain top.

The demon on Baiding Mountain has enormous spirit energy.

I guess she has been dead now.

Stop.

Even she's lucky to get away from there,

we must kill her on the way.

But.

It's an order.

My Lord.

Yu Mingye,

you're the Young Master of Darknight Court

and its future owner.

You've failed in several tasks

because of your feelings for her.

I just gave you a light punishment.

If our plan falls through

because of your sympathy again,

neither Darknight Court

nor I will forgive you.

Then

you'll really be an outcast.

I hope you won't let me down this time.

Off you go.

Love is really

the hardest thing to control in the world.

No.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge.

Who are you?

These are Zhao Ge's clothes.

Where's she?

Don't go.

Say it.

What did you do to Zhao Ge?

If you don't,

I'll show no mercy to you.

Stop.

Zhao Ge.

We've looked everywhere.

Zhao Ge is really not at the Academy.

Boss Jun,

what should we do now?

It's a high rank spirit animal on Baiding Mountain.

The whole Junwu Academy could do

nothing with it

and it wasn't defeated

until Mu Jiuzhou interfered.

If Feng Wu goes into its place,

the consequences will be unimaginable.

At any rate,

we need to go and check.

I asked you not to move

and you didn't listen to me.

Now your wounds have opened.

I know,

but you can't always be like this, can you?

Look. When can they heal?

That's more like it.

Zhao Ge,

you,

you understand what she says?

Miss Wolf said

I could speak the language of beasts.

The language of beasts?

But

who's Miss Wolf?

She is.

What.

I heard

there's a demonic beast that has cultivated for a thousand years here.

Is it her?

Miss Wolf is not a demon.

She's a white wolf that has cultivated for a thousand years.

And she's not a bad person.

I fell down before

and she saved me.

She has cultivated for a thousand years.

She,

she's a human now.

She received the wounds in her arms

when the Academy tried to kill her.

There aren't any herbs here.

So

I could only bind them up

in a simple way.

But it should be impossible

for her to recover completely.

Allow me.

You indeed took it away.

Well.

What's wrong?

You mean the ring is belong to Mu Jiuzhou?

Mu Jiuzhou is my Master.

He confined you here before,

but don't worry.

We won't hurt you.

Wu,

Mu Jiuzhou is your Master?

So when you talked to that ring,

you were actually talking to your Master?

You heard it, didn't you?

Zhao Ge,

now that you had doubts, why didn't you ask me?

Wu,

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have been suspicious of you.

Never mind.

I kept you in the dark.

We're even, then.

By the way,

why did my Master trap you here?

She said

She did something wicked.

I admit it,

but the cause is not what you think.

I was a white wolf in cultivation

and it took me a thousand years to assume the human form.

Well.

I turned into a human

and came to Shen's Mansion in the capital.

I hid among humans as a maid

just for fun.

What's wrong with you?

You can't even pour the water well.

Don't be angry, Madam.

She's a new maid.

She's dumb and doesn't know any rules.

Leave right now.

Wait.

Unexpectedly,

I met him.

You burned yourself just now, didn't you?

Later,

he taught me to read

and brought me to a new life

-that I never knew. -I'll teach you to write.

And a life I dare not to hope for.

Look.

You need to hold the brush like this

and put it flat.

No, no, no.

Like this.

Your hand.

Later,

we fell in love.

But

how could a demonic beast hope

for a human's love?

I told him what I was

and hoped he could forget me.

But,

are you telling the truth?

I don't regret it.

I don't want to leave you either.

Meeting you is the greatest blessing in my life.

No, no.

I've prepared for the worst.

I can take any consequence.

I want to be with you forever

no matter what happens.

Later,

I was pregnant

and got used to being a human

instead of a beast.

However,

nothing

will go smoothly in this world.

Before long,

the Shen family found out

and strongly disapproved of our relationship.

My son,

-how could you be so stupid? -Let go of her.

You refused to marry so many eminent ladies

-Let go of her. -and had your eye on this servant.

Go.

Wait for me

at the pavilion on Baiding Mountain three days later.

I will go to see you.

Drag her away.

-I will. -Drag her away.

Let go.

I will go to see you.

Let go.

Go.

Let go.

Let go of her.

Shen's Mansion

I waited on Baiding Mountain for three days

but he didn't show up.

Another three days went by,

but he still didn't come.

Wangjun Pavilion

Three months later,

I still didn't see him.

I thought he regretted it.

I wanted to see him for the last time

and then

I'd leave this place forever.

Shen's Mansion

Help! Young Master tried to kill himself.

Help! Help! Young Master tried to kill himself.

You're here.

I was trapped here all day.

I'm sorry that I couldn't go to see you.

I failed to keep my word.

I thought I could never see you again.

I didn't expect

I'd see you before I died.

I can die without regrets now.

She said

she only want to bring up her kids now.

She also thanked your Master.

If he hadn't let her live

for her pregnancy,

they would've

been dead now.

I'm sorry to hear that.

When your kids grow up,

where are you going to take them?

She said

half of her spirit energy had been restricted

and she couldn't cultivate anymore.

When her kids grow older,

they'll go into deep woods

and never come back.

As long as you're with your kids,

everything will go well.

She said thank you.

Not at all.

Zhao Ge,

I'll get some herbs.

We'll leave the mountain

when you feel better.

Wait for me.

Where on earth is Feng Wu?

Quickly. Hurry up to make the maze.

Squat down.

Look.

What's that?

Yu Mingye is also here.

What do they want to do?

They're making a maze

to stop people inside from coming out.

Yu Mingye won't hurt Feng Wu

however ruthless he is, will he?

I'll hold them up. You seize the chance

and look for Feng Wu and Zhao Ge.

No. It's too dangerous.

Shall we turn to the Academy?

It's not suitable to confront them now.

That's settled. Go now.

Let's go.

Do you know Feng Wu is on the mountain now?

It's unknown if she's alive.

Didn't you say you'd make her happy?

Is this your way to do that?

I was born in Darknight Court

and I'm Lord Demon's child.

Perhaps this is my fate.

I'm destined to be a villain

and never

to be with Feng Wu.

Only you can decide

what kind of person you are.

Actually I'm quite envious of you.

You can say things like that without turning a hair,

but I can't.

I can't disobey Lord Demon.

At any rate,

he's my father.

In that case,

let's cut the crap.

Go.

Don't mind me. Fix it now.

Guys, fix the maze.

Yes.

Keep fixing the maze.

Fix the maze.

I'm back.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge, wake up.

Miss Wolf. Miss Wolf.

Kids.

Kids, wake up.

Miss Wolf.

What happened?

Miss Wolf.

It's not me.

It's really not me.

Miss Wolf.

It's not me.

Miss Wolf,

calm down.

It's really not me.

We've finally come to this moment.

You'll handle

the rest of the matter.

Go.

Yes.

-Zhao Ge. -Feng Wu, are you okay?

Yes.

Zhao Ge.

Zhao Ge, wake up.

Feng Wu,

what did you do to her?

I did nothing.

I just went out to get some herbs

and she was like this already when I came back.

She is not on the same level as demonic beasts

we met before.

Let's leave now.

Come on.

Okay.

What are you doing?

My queen.

My queen.

What on earth is happening?

It's been so many years.

I've shown you the utmost patience

as your wife.

Originally I wanted to make you lose your spirit energy with poison,

but unexpectedly Wu Youdao helped you

and upset my plan.

I had no choice but to do it early.

Your Majesty,

in your reign, people are suffered

and demonic beasts are running wild

on Qianyuan Continent.

Don't you feel guilty at all?

You evil woman,

the person who poisoned me before

was under your orders.

Soldiers,

arrest her.

What are you waiting for?

Arrest her.

You're always negligent in running the country.

Now you see it, don't you?

You've lost people's support long ago

and you’re veritably without any follower to trust now.

You.

Take him away.

So you've been colluding with them.
