Oh My General

For your careerism.

You sent my one month old son

Ji out behind my back.

So even you become the emperor,

in my heart,

you're always a heartless man

with no dignity and kindness!

Enough!

You've said enough!

If there's nothing else. I will excuse myself.

My lord.

I thought my lord understands me.

I didn't expect,

you just a man who favors beauties.

Crown prince of Western Xia, Haerdun

greets Miss Xian.

If you let me,

I'll make you the most honorable woman in Western Xia.

You men all like the say things like that.

Once.

There's a person who said the same thing to me.

Now?

Holding another bitch

and lives freely.

In all the royal families.

The fight in the harem is always fierce.

Let alone in his majesty's big harem.

You should find more opportunity

to get close to his majesty.

What do you mean? I heard there's a kind of medicine from Tibet.

It's extracted from sika deer.

She might pears have a strong body.

But in fact,

Her uterus bears too much coldness.

I'm afraid...

Even she takes that prescription for five years, might not change it as well.

Episode 40

General has been taking his prescription

But seems didn't get better.

General is always fighting outside.

She might pears have a strong body.

But in fact,

Her uterus bears too much coldness.

I'm afraid...

Even she takes that prescription for five years,

might not change it as well.

Five years? Might not change it?

Early when general did disaster relief with the lord,

I knew that general was diagnosed with

irregular periods by Dr.Meng.

I'm afraid...

She has already lost her fertility.

What?!

General has been taking tonics.

But vomited blood for days.

Vomit blood?

Why not tell me earlier?

That's terrible!

Yujin gives all his attention to Ye Zhao.

If she cannot be pregnant for five years,

We Zhao's offspring prosperity will be up.

Don't be angry, mother-in-law.

I don't dare talk nonsense.

But if my lord knows my telling you today,

I will be severely punished.

Don't worry.

If you don't tell me,

I'm still kept in the dark.

Since Ye Zhao become a member of Zhao's family,

troubles have come in succession.

Now she dares conceal her shocking infertility.

Such unfilial and irreverent daughter-in-law!

Just divorce her!

Don't be angry, mother-in-law.

General... General now has just been demoted.

If she is driven out now,

others may think you're snobbish.

Thus may damage Zhaos' reputation.

And general is the lord's legal wife.

Even she cannot be pregnant,

we can't go so far as to drive her out.

It's all about my gossip makes you so angry.

Legal wife? Who cares?

As the legal wife,

Ye Zhao gets exclusive favour.

And she gives no chance to other concubines.

How can we continue our offspring prosperity?

It's you who manage household affairs so hard.

And do everything for our sake.

You move to Yujin's bedchamber from today.

If you can be pregnant early

and give birth to kids,

you will be the new mistress.

Okay.

Just go.

Nishang.

In my family for so many years,

you've sacrificed a lot.

Your going to Western Xia with lord Haerdun

will be a much-told story.

Here is a thousand taels of sycee silver

for your expenses on the road.

Thanks, my lord.

My staying in your family is thanks to your care.

Please accept my gratitude.

It's a long distance to Western Xia.

And we have different living environment.

You must take care of yourself.

Don't worry, madam.

I'll be there and not let Xian be upset.

You go to Western Xia alone with language difficulties.

Do you have any other requirements?

Just say.

Thanks, my lady.

Since my staying here,

Mute has taken good care of me.

Can I have him with me to Western Xia, my lady?

Fine.

Now that you don't mind he's a dumb.

I just arrange him to go with you.

Mute.

You just go to Western Xia with miss.

And take good care of her daily life.

Thanks, my lord.

My lord, we should set off now.

Have a pleasant journey.

Xian.

Mute is handsome and smart.

Very pleasing.

Nishang's fate today is all her fortune.

It may difficult for her to come back

since her going to Western Xia this time.

Any distinction with losing her life?

Pay my respect to you, mother-in-law.

Asking you come here so early, I have something to discuss with you.

Please say.

Yesterday, Mrs Yang came to tell me that

Ye Zhao cannot be pregnant because of

her poor health and great coldness in her uterus.

And Mrs Yang.

She has talent and good appearance.

Being prudent and managing household affairs these years,

She shares a lot for us.

But I've never heard about general's infertility.

Such scandal should be concealed.

As it is.

I can only talk with Ye Zhao.

See that if she can persuade Yujin

to share his bedchamber with Mrs Yang.

We should give priority to Zhao clan's heirs.

As the mistress,

Ye Zhao can only obey.

Mrs Yang usually does her own part.

She isn't like a mischief-maker.

General really cannot be pregnant?

Ask Ye Zhao come here.

I'll have a talk with her.

Yes.

Miss Nishang, where are you going?

Where is Mute?

He is feeding horses downstairs.

Ask him to bring me some local snacks.

Okay.

You don't know my preference.

I'll go to tell him myself.

I ask him to come here?

No. I go downstairs myself.

Mute.

Bring me some local snacks.

And some desserts.

As many as possible.

I'll eat on my road.

They monitor me so closely.

You take the hanky and run away to

Lord Nanping's house in capital Dojing.

Find Lord Nanping and give the hanky to general Ye Zhao.

Lord Nanping's house is in the middle of west street.

On seeing the hanky, General Ye will believe in you.

Remember that Lord Qi used poison to make you dumb.

Now he collaborates with Western Xia.

He is of great flagrance.

And the enemy of our Song.

When you see General Ye, tell her...

Mute, just go.

Mute.

Hurry come back.

Xian.

I prefer cuisines in Song.

But when arrive in Western Xia, I'll no longer eat such traditionell food.

I just let Mute bring some for me.

Okay.

When we get Xingqing Province,

there are many local cates.

Xian, you'll surely like.

Mother-in-law.

You look so pale.

It seems your hidden disease breaks out.

Mother-in-law.

I really feel uncomfortable recently.

Sweating often.

Feel uncomfortable.

Just see the doctor.

Do thorough physical conditioning.

Please be at ease.

I've been taking herbs recently.

But not so healthy like before.

I heard that you even vomited blood.

That's right.

As the mistress,

You should consider about offspring prosperity.

Put overall interests at the first.

Please make it clear.

And sister-in-law? Don't be tangled.

General feels uncomfortable. Mother-in-law is anxious and visited many doctors.

But on hearing that general vomited blood,

those doctors were unwilling to diagnose.

General, you've married Yujin for more than two years.

But never had babies.

Mother-in-law is worried that if things go on like this...

Sister-in-law, come to the point.

Mother-in-law wanna know

if general can show your nobility.

Permit the lord to sleep with Mrs Yang?

You know, fertility is between the couple.

I know.

Really?

I'll ask Mrs Yang to move to Yujin's bedchamber

as soon as I go back.

Yujin is kind and pure.

If he questions about it,

what you should say?

Don't worry.

I'll consider overall interests.

Tell Yujin that no heirs means being unfilial.

Okay.

Go back to arrange it.

Yes.

Find Mute?

No. Maybe he hides himself.

Hurry to inform our men to guard in turn

to guarantee Miss Xian's safety.

No accident, okay?

Go! Yes.

Zhao.

I bring you some delicious food!

My lord, today I'll serve you.

Why are you here?

Where is Zhao?

General feels uncomfortable and already fell asleep.

She asked me to serve you.

What?

Uncomfortable?

I want Zhao.

Where is she?

Dr.Meng has made a diagnosis.

He said general got inflamed.

And needed to stay in bed alone.

I just go to ask her.

My lord.

My lord, general has already fell asleep.

Please go back, my lord.

She went to bed so early today.

General feels weak recently and doesn't wanna talk. Today she felt so tired that slept earlier.

Don't worry, my lord.

Go back to sleep.

Already fell asleep?

Fine.

These days she's been having nightmares.

She cannot sleep well.

What's more.

Put a silk kerchief next to her.

For her wiping away sweat.

Here are some Goryeo chestnut cake I bought for her. Give her when she wakes up.

Please don't worry, my lord.

General will go when she wakes up tomorrow.

Yujin, have some tea.

It's too late now, how about going to bed now?

No need.

I'll read medicine books for a while.

You just go to bed.

I'll sleep on my cot.

Cot is uncomfortable.

Just come to my bedchamber today.

And go to the study tomorrow.

Zhao was in good health before.

Since her marrying me,

She's been weaker than before.

Must be my fault.

So she gets illness.

What's wrong?

Nothing.

I just worry about her.

But the imperial doctor didn't find the causes.

Even you study all night,

you may not find better prescription, either.

That's nonsense!

Such a quack like Meng Xingde,

he can never find the cure!

I don't think that I cannot find the cure.

I'll not sleep if I cannot find today.

I'll not sleep if I cannot find this year.

Five years, a decade, two decades!

I don't believe that I can not find it!

His majesty the emperor!

Show my respect to your majesty.

Arise.

Leave us alone.

Yes.

Your majesty.

This pickled fish is rare in capital.

I asked to cook it follow your preference. Let's have a taste.

Fine.

Your majesty.

I'm grateful to your favour everyday.

And miss you every night.

This pickled fish is cooked by me.

You take interest in cooking, really?

I followed queen mother Liu's disciplines.

Thus didn't dare go to the imperial kitchen before.

But now your majesty carries out reform

and makes many new rules.

I also like reading cookbooks written by imperial butler.

Inspired by these books, I cooked the dish.

Please have a taste.

You're a good cook.

So delicious.

Thanks for your praise.

I always have some delicacies.

Such cuisine leaves great impression on me.

Have more, your majesty.

Your majesty.

You've not stay with me for a long time.

Can you stay with me tonight?

Okay.

I promise you.

I will sleep in Huaning palace tonight.

Thanks, your majesty.

Here, your majesty.

Zhao.

Here.

Here, come on, take it.

What's this?

Oh my god! Blood!

This is the fresh goat blood.

Still hot.

How to drink blood?

General.

My lord bought it in Longting market this morning.

It's good to cure blood vomiting.

Yujin.

You really treat me as a monster drinking blood?

The hot goat blood has no funky odor of mutton.

Come on. Drink it.

Here.

Just gargle.

You know, prolonged illness makes the patient a doctor.

The amount of medicine I took can run a pharmacy.

Don't look down on the goat blood.

It can cure dizziness, hemoptysis, blood vomiting.

uterine bleeding and traumatic bleeding.

I'll punctually wait for the butcher every morning.

Bring you the freshest goat blood for you.

The Lord stayed up all night to find the prescription.

Early this morning, he went to Longting market.

And waited for the butcher.

How could you do this?

You will make yourself too tired.

You two, pack up Zhao's belongings

and move to my bedchamber.

Yujin.

Last night in Lingshuang villa, I slept well.

These days I feel uncomfortable,

just let me sleep alone.

Thus, you don't need to wake up to look after me.

And can have good sleep.

Zhao.

You really think so?

Why I feel you're a little reluctant and unhappy?

Don't stay up. Sleep early.

Then I can sleep well.

Hurry. Lie down.

Stop!

Have a rest.

My lord, where are we now?

Here we are in Western Xia.

How long can we arrive at Xingqing Province?

At top speed, only one day.

But I'm afraid you cannot stand.

We just slow our speed,

thus only two days here.

We went through the Loess Plateau.

So much dirt makes me wanna

take a bath and change my cloth.

Here are clean lakes.

I just bring you to bath in the lake, okay?

Don't be afraid, Xian.

It's inhabited here.

We cross hill foot and bath in the upper stream.

I'll guard for you.

Okay. Please.

Take easy, here I am.

I'll guarantee your safety.

Xian.

What are you doing!

Xian, I love you.

The first sight I saw you, I fell in love with you.

No. Xian, don't refuse me.

No. You'll be mine sooner or later.

Xian, what are you doing?

Xian.

Back down! Back down!

You'll be mine sooner or later.

Xian!

A dancing girl I am, I'm not dissolute.

I know that premarital sex is prohibited.

Xian, just be my lady.

Xian!

I'd rather death.

Xian!

Xian! Xian!

Xian! Xian!

Xian!

What are you doing! Xian!

All my fault, Xian!

I got confused temporarily!

Xian!

I promise I'll never do such thing to you.

My going to Western Xia is unaccompanied.

If you don't cherish me,

it's meaningless for my going there.

All my fault!

Miss Xian.

I'm so sorry.

I'll do everything with your permission henceforward!

Do nothing without your permission!

I promise you, Miss Xian.

I'll treat you with full respect until our marriage!

Please forgive me, Miss Xian.

General! General!

Letters from military counselor!

Fox!

How could fox know I was severely ill?

Please don't blame, general.

It's Qiushui!

Military counselor knows your health situation all along.

He wanted the military doctor Wang to see you.

Military doctor Wang?

How can I forget him!

I was hurt by an assassin and highly poisoned before.

He took medicine up the mountain and cured me.

Fine! General!

I ask him here right now!

So beautiful a hair clasp!

Thanks for your praise, Madam Hai.

I've prepared many special desserts for you today.

Right in the room.

If tired, just go to have a taste.

Okay. Madam Hai. We just enter the room.

Okay. Just stroll around.

Show my respect to you, Madam Hai.

Mrs Yang, you're here. Congratulations on your new residence.

Thanks.

I'll show you around later.

Here comes the lady.

My lady.

Congratulations on Lord Hai's new residence.

We shall be greatly honoured by your gracious presence.

Although less than five acres,

your new residence looks exquisite and peculiar.

Yes. But a little far away from capital.

It's not easy to come here.

My lord's salary isn't enough for

such high land price in capital.

And you two are all royal families.

What kind of madam I am.

And.

Where is Lord Hai in such housewarming day?

Mrs Yang, you don't know.

Housewarming is a great joyous event for us.

I tried my best to make him stay to meet you.

But he feels shy to greet females.

When woke up today, he said, My lady, you just prepare it.

I... I have to work.

Have you ever seen such boring man?

But your lord is so blessed

to have you such tasteful wife.

I've prepared some special desserts for our gathering today.

The desserts haven't come yet.

I just go to the kitchen and see.

Okay.

You can stroll around.

Look at the garden.

It's really quiet and comfortable.

Right.

Such peculiar house brings us a good mood.

Every year, the crabapple will be in blossom.

Not like our female, wither by time.

Madam Hai knows how to maintain her youth.

She looks pretty like the crabapple.

I feel so ashamed.

Ladies just like the tree.

They will be pregnant and give birth to kids.

Have you been pregnant until now?

So ashamed.

I have unspeakable bitterness.

The lord only cares for general.

Owing to the hindrance of mother-in-law,

they are temporarily separated.

But stick together in the daytime.

And general doesn't let me serve at night.

The lord always sleeps in the study.

You are gentle and virtuous, only stay at home.

Ye Zhao is unruly and graceless, gets the lord's favour.

Inconceivable.

How about your general's health recently?

She is severely ill and vomits blood.

Maybe the previous disease broke out.

I don't know if she has taken wrong medicine.

She seems terrible.

Medicine is used to cure illness.

How could it be that?

All her medicine these months were decocted by me.

But she is getting worse and worse.

I'm worried...

Sister Jiyu.

The conception prescription you give to me...

Any taboos about it?
