[Walk into Your Memory]

[Episode 5]

This is for you.

Are you feeling better?

You are?

Don't you remember me?

You are the one who saved me at the pool.

This is for you.

Regarding that matter,

I would like to thank you.

How will you...

thank me?

I...

I am just kidding.

I have really scared you.

However,

don't you want to know my name?

What is your name?

Yi Ming Jun, Yi as in easy.

Ming as in bright. Jun as in gentlemen.

What do you think? Isn't it a good name?

When we have time, let's have a meal together.

But I will be busy with the shooting lately.

But I am the fan who saved your life.

Xia Tian.

The scene in the afternoon is very important.

If you have time, I would like to rehearse it with you.

Okay.

I am sorry. I have to rehearse now.

You have not answered my question.

Do you want to have a meal with me?

If you don't answer, then I shall take it as a yes.

Okay.

Thanks for saving me,

and for the flowers today.

You shouldn't have done that.

I shall be frank to you.

I want you to be my girlfriend.

If you agree, that will be good.

If you don't, I will figure something out.

Then...

let's get married.

What do you think?

Get married?

Well, see.

We are completely different.

I take relationship very seriously.

Thank you for your admiration.

But this kind of relationship,

which the consequence doesn't matter much,

doesn't interest me. Sorry.

Thank you again for saving me.

It's quite late now.

I should go.

So, that's about it for today.

This is the first time a woman rejected me,

and even in such a macho way.

This is getting more interesting.

Hello.

I want to invest on a series.

Don't you mind so much. Settle it yourself.

My condition is that,

the main female character has to be played by Xia Tian.

Director,

why has the storyline changed suddenly?

The investor gave us a call abruptly,

saying that the screenwriter will rewrite the later story.

Then, you will be playing the main female character.

Why is that so sudden?

Why?

Don't you know that already?

Zhu Wei.

-Director. -Are the extras ready?

An Ning.

I would like to ask you a question.

What?

Do girls always speak differently from what they think?

Even if you are clearly in love, you would still deny it.

Aren't you a pro in relationships? Why are you asking me?

Recently, I like a girl...

who is of a similar age as you.

That's why I would like to ask for your advice.

I want you to be my girlfriend.

If you agree, that will be good.

If you don't, I will figure something out.

You like Xia Tian?

How do you know?

Because you have seen this?

That's right. It's her.

I thought she is not so famous.

I didn't know that you know her too.

Let me give you an advice.

You two are not compatible. Just forget about it.

Compatibility is up to me.

You only need to tell me if girls are double-minded.

I don't know about others, but Xia Tian is not.

You don't know each other. How would you know?

In short, I can't explain this to you.

Don't bring shame to yourself.

What you said is not right.

Are you looking down on me?

Forget about it.

I shouldn't have asked you such sophisticated question.

Ms. Ma.

I have something to ask you.

-Don't ask me. -He's never going to give up.

What's the question?

Bye. Thank you for today.

Let's pack it up.

Thank you.

-Bye, Brother William. -Bye.

Xia Tian.

Like I said, if you agree, that will be good.

If you don't, I will figure something out.

This is for you.

Do you like it?

Yes, I do.

It seems that I should have given this to you earlier.

If I have given this to you when we had that meal together,

our conversation that day would have been different.

Only this?

What do you mean?

With just a diamond necklace,

you want to change the result of our conversation last time?

It doesn't seem to be enough.

Okay.

What do you want then?

Money? Diamond?

Car? House?

You can mention anything.

A heart.

A heart?

What heart?

A sincere heart.

Do you have that?

A sincere heart?

Okay. This is not something cheap.

Just keep it.

Use it when you are going after someone else.

Don't waste it.

Hello.

My dearest.

I am hurt.

Hurt?

Right.

My heart hurts.

You should be grateful.

There's a woman who is willing to hurt your heart.

Don't you take pleasure in my misfortune.

Get here now.

To do what?

To treat my wound.

Treat your wound?

Okay.

There are so much good liquor at home.

Why did we come here to drink?

You really have no delight of life.

Don't you know to treat a wound,

you need a suitable atmosphere and environment?

That's right. We want that.

More of that, please.

Such encounter makes me nervous.

I have no second plan yet.

And also, more meat sauce please.

Give us more side dishes.

The one who is willing to hurt you,

can't be her, right?

Okay, that's all. Thank you.

So,

you have suddenly become the main female character?

Yes, that's how it was.

And then,

I was of course despised by the rest.

Let's go.

Actually the main female character...

What a coincidence.

What a coincidence. We meet again.

Why are you here?

Do you want to have a drink together?

Do you know each other?

We are colleagues.

What a small world.

I didn't expect the two of you to be friends.

Oh right.

Why are you having a drink today?

Is it because you are upset, after you rejected something?

Not rejected, but been rejected.

All her jobs were cancelled.

Why don't you bring them back to her?

All cancelled?

How could that be?

This is how showbiz works.

Without reason,

suddenly I became the main female character.

Oh right.

I wanted to tell you that,

he was the one who helped you to be the main female character.

He even spent a great deal of money to do it.

What did you say?

I shouldn't have told her?

Sorry.

Do you think that's right?

Are you trying to do good deed anonymously?

Xia Tian. That was not the case.

I wanted to give you a surprise.

Surprise?

Do you know that, recently I have been hearing some nonsense about me?

I couldn't even refute.

Even my close friends then...

see me as their enemy now.

You surely don't surf the internet.

You didn't see that the internet is full of angry words about me.

I think all the possible bad words in the dictionary...

have been used on me now.

It seems that...

you are pretty good at making trouble.

Not better than your ill-wish.

Ill-wish?

Since when do I have ill-wish?

You do not have ill-wish.

I was wrong.

You are...

pretending to be clever after coming off cheap.

What?

What do you mean?

What do you mean that I have come off cheap?

Xia Tian.

Regarding the necklace,

I was too reckless.

You have got off so cheaply, yet you don't dare to admit it.

You dare to do it, but don't dare to admit it.

If that's the case,

you were the one who came off cheap.

No man has touched you.

Suddenly, you were touched by a man as excellent as me.

Aren't you anxious?

Aren't you so happy that you can't fall asleep?

I can't fall asleep?

Your mind is full of lusty things.

You are the one who can't fall asleep.

Lusty?

What else would it be?

We are adults.

Can't you have healthier thinking?

I know that I am attractive.

But your lusty thoughts about me are very disturbing to me.

If that's what you mean,

I seriously doubt the purpose you came to my house.

You came to seduce me, right?

Why are you so cute? I seduced you?

How dare you even think that?

I think that was seduction.

Undisguised seduction.

Inconstancy and no self value.

-That sounds just like you. -You!

Undisguised...

seduction?

Lusty?

Oh my goodness.

That was too much information.

Are the two of you in a relationship?

Dear.

I am not driving today, so I can't send you home.

Thank you for your treat.

I didn't drink, so I can send you back.

-That's not necessary. -Just come with me.

Hao Qian. You shall take care of An Ning then.

This guy has some bad attitudes,

but he is not a bad person.

Don't worry.

-Just go. -You...

Just go.

Actually,

my house is just nearby.

I can just walk home.

I will not trouble you.

Okay then.

Anyhow, I don't like it when my car smells like alcohol.

Shouldn't he say in such situation that,

sending a pretty girl home is my pleasure.

Not behaving like a gentlemen at all. He doesn't deserve a girlfriend.

Crazy! What am I doing?

Actually,

she is quite pretty.

Besides being a little silly,

she is rather nice.

Actually,

he is not as bad as I thought.

Although his behaviour is irritating,

his morality is not so bad.

What am I doing?

What am I doing?

An Ning, clear up your mind.

Chrysanthemum.

Because...

it represents happiness.

Happiness?

What is happiness?

It's useless to talk so much.

Just tell me when are you going to pay us back.

Who are you?

What do you want?

What do we want?

We are collecting debt.

What debt?

Your mother has taken 200,000 yuan usurious loan from us.

She was supposed to pay it back in a month.

But she hasn't paid us a single cent.

We came to have a look,

that's not too bad, right?

Why did you borrow so much money?

What did you do?

My...

Recently, my friend...

My friend was speculating in the stock market recently,

saying that a lot of money was earned.

I didn't want to burden you.

That's why I thought...

that I could earn some too.

I didn't have any capital.

So I could only borrow money from the loan shark.

I thought I could earn it back in a couple of days.

I didn't expect that, as soon as I have invested the money,

I have lost everything.

Xia Tian.

What are you doing?

Don't you touch her.

I heard that you are an actress.

You must make quite some money.

Give me some time.

I will raise the money.

Actually, you don't need to pay the money back.

Tonight,

have some fun with my brothers and I.

Let go of me.

Don't pretend to be chaste.

You are not so innocent.

One night for 200,000 yuan,

that's a lot of money for you.

You better show some respect.

Or else,

I would kill myself now.

Then,

besides not getting any money,

you will even be involved in a murder case.

You should know if that's worthy.

Are you blackmailing me?

Let me tell you.

I have been a gangster for so long.

If I am threatened by you, how else would I be able to stay in my field?

That's because you have not met someone who is unafraid of death.

You have seen the situation in my family.

I have long given up life.

Nothing else matters.

No, Xia Tian.

No.

Seven days.

Just give me seven days.

I will pay you back both the capital and interest.

Three days.

A total 300,000 yuan.

If there's one cent lesser,

you should be aware of the aftermath.

Also,

don't you even think about escaping.

My men will watch you daily.

Let's go.

Xia Tian.

Let me have a look.

I am sorry.

I heard that...

you have taken the resort project.

Well done.

Be mindful of the follow-up work.

Don't be careless.

Okay.

Your mother's birthday is coming soon.

Remember to visit her.

Just take it as a business meeting.

Okay. I will try to find time.

Remember...

to spend more time with her.

With a great round of applause, let's welcome our handsomest chef.

So handsome.

Okay, stop fooling around.

Master, please drink the tea.

An Ning.

Now that you are my apprentice,

you should always remember the rules.

Be a decent person, and be serious in cooking.

Always have a pure and kind heart...

when you treat the food material.

Just as you would treat others.

Never forget your dream...

of becoming...

a successful cook.

Yes, master.

This is for you.

A big red packet.

We don't get that.

Alright now.

The master-honouring ceremony is done.

Let's get back to work.

Okay.

Chef.

Today an old man is celebrating his birthday in our hotel.

Please make him a bowl of longevity noodles.

Make it...

-Make a bowl. -Make it...

Okay, I will make it.

In China, from then to now,

age is like noodles.

Longevity is represented by long noodles.

Therefore on birthday,

one must eat longevity noodles.

Long noodles...

are the best blessing to the person who is celebrating his birthday.

That smells so good.

From ancient time to present,

China...

has always been the land of delicacy.

There are so many countries in the world,

but only the delicacies in China...

have so many varieties,

which can also reflect the wisdom of the Chinese.

To be able to cook a dish well,

one must first understand the dish.

It's like...

when you fall in love with someone,

and would like to live with him,

then you should first understand him.

It's all done now?

It's not as easy.

To be able to cook a dish well,

one should first understand it.

It's just like...

when you seriously love someone,

you should always first understand that person.

Okay.

Let's get back to work.

An Ning.

Come with me, I have something to talk to you about.

What are you laughing at?

Brother, I would like to ask something.

Do you think the reason that I can't cook well...

is because I was never in love?

It's working hour.

Do you have nothing to do?

I am leaving now.

Help you to go after Xia Tian?

As Xia Tian's close friend,

I will give you an advice.

Just forget about it.

You two are really incompatible.

Why are we incompatible?

Get back to cooking.

Stop thinking about the unrealistic things.

Why is it unrealistic?

Even if she rejects me, she should at least give me a reason.

Xia Tian...

looks very mature.

But I know her very well.

She is actually very innocent.

She is different from all your ex-girlfriends.

She is not a materialistic person.

She will give all her best...

to improve her acting skill,

tries her best to realise her dream.

She doesn't like the easy way,

also hates free dinner.

Her toughness and persistence...

are beyond your imagination.

I also recognise that...

you are a good person.

Besides, as a friend,

you are perfect.

Well, you are faithful to friends...

and loyal to friendship.

But I can't guarantee that...

you are qualified as a lover.

I can also not guarantee that you can bring Xia Tian happiness.

If you keep using the same attitude...

that you have been using on other girls to go after her,

then please stop now.

What if I am sincere?

If you were sincere,

you wouldn't have used a great amount of money...

to get her the main character role.

You didn't care about her feelings at all.

You also didn't put yourself in her shoe,

to consider her need.

Do you know that?

Due to this incident,

you have brought her a lot of trouble.

True love...

is not to burden,

but to share the burden.

To share each other's suffering and worries.

This can't be done using money.

Her life is hard enough.

Hence, Yi Ming Jun,

I hope that you will not bring her more unnecessary trouble.

Okay?

True love...

is not to burden,

but to share the burden.

To share each other's suffering and worries.

This can't be done with money.

I didn't expect that...

with such brain,

she could say something so philosophical.

Ms. Xia, I am sorry.

I am afraid that it'll be very hard to sell the house off in 3 days.

To find a suitable buyer,

it requires time.

Xia Tian.

I would like to help you,

but you know that...

all professions are in depressing state now.

My savings are used on investment.

I don't have so much cash at the moment.

Or...

I can first lend you 10,000 yuan for emergency.

It's alright.

I will think of some other ways.

Thank you.

Ms. Xia.

It's very hard to give you more money for your car.

Besides, it needs to be checked up.

You want me to sell it off in 3 days,

that's not going to be easy.

How much roughly can you sell it for?

If you want me to tell you a price, I would say maximum 70,000 yuan.

So little?

Can you make it more?

This is the highest price now.

Xia Tian.

I heard that you have a sugar daddy now.

Can he not even give you 300,000 yuan?

What about this?

You try to ask An Ning.

After all, the two of you are close friends.

You know very well how much An Ning and her family have helped me.

Should I count on their help forever?

Then, I always desired to excel over others.

I didn't believe in fate.

Now when I think about it, I was really silly.

Mankind can never defeat fate.

I am going to be engaged.

I will marry a rich man.

He promised to give me 300,000 yuan to pay off the debt.

Whatever self-value,

principle...

and dream...

can be forgotten now.

Na Na.

Sister An Ning.

What happened?

What should I do now?

Sister An Ning,

why are you here?

I passed by here after work, so I took the chance to visit you.

Thank you.

Sister An Ning.

Well. I...

You don't have to explain yourself. I know what's between the two of you.

You knew that?

How's your father?

He is getting stabler now.

The doctor said,

he can be discharged in a few days.

I don't agree to the relationship between you and my daughter.

You have gone too far.

I would like to get a set of dowry jewellery for my daughter.

Na Na. Listen to me.

Just leave.

No, Na Na.

You...

Let go of me.

Na Na.

Na Na.

Why are there so many helpless and desperate situations in life?

Why do people who love each other...

can't stay together forever?

I can't understand...

why pure love always...

has to be mixed with pecuniary advantages?

It makes beautiful things turn bad.

Didn't I tell you to stay away from my daughter?

As long as you can get me a son,

in the future,

all my assets...

will belong to you and the child.
