Xia Tian, you need to get changed...

Come on.

Outfit of this style suits you well.

You should try it more often.

That's because of my good look.

Mdm. Cauliflower was once the most beautiful woman in town.

It's only natural that her child is good-looking.

Who is Mdm. Cauliflower?

My mother.

How could you call your mother "Mdm. Cauliflower"?

Why?

Pretty look isn't all great.

One should be more practical.

Which is why we cannot deny that...

even mature ladies are considered flowers as well.

A practical kind at that.

So,

she is the cauliflower?

Yes, functional and pretty.

Rose, peony and lily,

they all have their own functions.

According to your logic, young and beautiful women...

are pretty much useless.

That was just an analogy.

Fine, what kind of flower are you?

Rose, peony,

or lily?

Are you...

rapeseed?

I am the bachelor's button.

What are you laughing at?

Stay there while you talk.

What flower did you say you are?

The bachelor's button.

A blue bachelor's button, the cornflower.

Why?

Because...

it represents happiness.

Happiness?

Fine.

Keep it going then.

A girl?

Are you sure about this?

I am certain of it.

Mr. Long's classmates confirmed it.

They said the two of them are mere employer and employee.

They aren't close.

He is letting a girl approach him?

Someone said...

Mr. Long just brought the same girl to go shopping at the mall.

He brought the girl there on his own?

Yes, Mr. Long drove her there personally.

There was no one else.

Just the two of them.

Keep monitoring them.

Do you think...

he is cured?

Is he still taking therapy from Dr. Ren?

No.

Keep an eye on the girl.

Do not alert her.

Mr. Bai hasn't given us an answer...

about the resort project.

So far, no.

But he will, soon enough.

Pay attention to this project.

If Hao Qian can acquire this project, so be it.

If he can't,

I want you to arrange an appointment with Mr. Bai.

-I will talk to him. -Okay.

Xia Tian?

How did it go so bad?

You saw what happened by the pool.

How can she not fall ill after all of that?

There is a lot of financial pressure from her family.

She has several jobs in one day.

She has to pay for the debt.

Debt?

What do you mean?

I am not very sure either.

There is rumour about...

her father being a gambler once.

He passed away in an accident.

Yet he left behind a great deal of gambling debt.

Xia Tian's mother is old.

Xia Tian is all that is left for her family.

But she never gets any good acting job.

I am pretty sure...

you know about the reasons.

So? Did you see anything?

What is Mr. Bai's thought on the resort project?

He plans to discuss about the partnership in details next week.

The blurred intention about the partnership...

and the talks about L Group's benefits...

are just a test for you.

Good to know that.

Are you happy now?

I am sorry.

I didn't tell you why we came here today.

Don't feel sorry.

You should just tell me beforehand.

You should have told me when we signed the contract.

It's not some missing memories you want me to find,

it's not about some boring truth either.

You want my power for your business...

so you can read people's thoughts for your own benefits.

What do you mean?

It's human language.

Our contract ends here.

What did you say?

When we were signing the contract,

I made it clear for you.

I am helping you in search of memories and truth.

Since there has been a change of nature in the conduct,

the contract is now void.

As for the mind games between businessmen,

I am sorry, but I am not interested.

I helped out of my good will as your colleague.

That was out of kindness, it's not about the contract.

Long Hao Qian,

if you wish to get a business deal,

As for your made-up forgotten past,

stop using them as your excuses.

If you can see through my memories,

Explain yourself.

That's because I trust you too much...

for how much that memory means to you.

I never think about looking into your thoughts.

I never expected you to have other motives.

I never would have thought the search of memories and truth...

Those memories...

They are not made-up either.
