Original subtitles

Jin Xia,

both of you had been through so much,

and I saw it all.

Is there any misunderstanding?

What if you go see him and talk to him about this?

There is nothing to talk about.

I want to be alone,

so that I'll feel peace inside of me.

Okay.

I'll put the hangover soup over here.

You have to finish all of it later.

If you ever need anything,

just find me.

Why do we

become like this?

Give this to big brother.

Okay.

Miss Xia, miss Xia.

There are good news.

I just received a letter

said that in two more days, Xi Er and Xie Xiao

will come here.

Miss Xia.

When will they arrive?

In two more days.

Didn't last night you just say that they will come here

after some days?

What do you mean a while?

I said that a long time ago.

My memory might mess that up.

I think that you don't pay attention in anything.

Can you please take a rest?

You worry me so much.

What are you worrying about?

There is nothing to worry about.

Before, you always take your job as your happiness,

everyday you works happily,

but now?

You look so sad everyday.

Sometimes, I'm genuinely worried that

you will make yourself sick.

When did I look sad?

I'm very happy now.

I'm working for money.

It's fine.

Are you going to go back to work or not?

Work?

You are working now?

You can't lie to me.

You are missing Lu Yi right now,

am I right?

I also know that,

it's hard to forget someone,

but

isn't Xie Xiao here?

I remember that

he's always liked you.

You.

Lu Yi isn't by your side right now,

so that you two do have possibility after all.

I said no we don't have possibility, if you said one more word, I'm gonna hit you.

Okay.

Okay, I won't say anything.

Come on, look over this.

Please do it carefully.

Father.

It's cold already,

we should told our servants to put some heaters here.

You don't have to worry about these small things.

How's your investigation on the construction for observation?

The main problem lies in the wood.

We have been searching for this,

and we discovered that's not pinewood,

but it's a type of wood that can easily be eaten by insects.

Moreover,

there is nothing against moisture.

That's why after the trouble occured,

they hurriedly destroyed all those wood.

So that means the Ministry of Works does truncate the materials.

Have you investigated where the money of the construction for observation

went to?

Who do you think is the closest to the Ministry of Works?

Yan Shao Qiong.

I remember it after you reminded me.

A few days ago, Yan Shao Qiong sent his people

to eliminate all of the splendid decorations in their mansion.

He built his mansion with the money from the Ministry of Works.

Whenever officials want to build their mansion,

they have to report to the higher people.

Based on this amount of money,

you can't even build a garden with that money.

It's actually not something big,

but if it relates to the construction for observation,

then we have to consider about it.

The year-end paper works is coming.

This is your chance.

Father, how can you know

that I'll choose to act when the year-end paper works is happening?

All of these files belong to direct arrest Officer.

Hurry up and read all of these.

Yes.

From now on,

not only you have to learn all the files by heart,

but all of my

files from investigations will be written by you.

I will send it to your room.

Father,

you haven been serving by Your Majesty's side for 40 years.

Why?

Because you understand him.

How can he find another one who understands him like you?

So the blessings of the Yan family will stay the same,

if we still have Your Majesty by our side.

I heard that Your Majesty is asking Lan Qing Xuan.

Lan Qing Xuan is the one who was introduced by Xu Jing.

If he says bad things about us in front of Your Majesty,

I'm afraid that Yan family cannot handle it.

That stinky taoist hermit Lan Qing Xuan

cannot do anything in the court.

But there's one thing, father,

in the next few days, if people from the Ministry of Works want to meet you,

you have to refuse them,

I can take care of other things.

Sir,

master told me to bring you

important files.

Just put it there.

I thought you were different from others.

Seems like I was wrong.

Remember carefully,

without my permission,

you can't take this off.

What should I do in order to forget you?

First, the construction for observation fell,

and now, Bai Lu is dead.

Tragedy after tragedy.

Shouldn't you have some explanation to me?

Your Majesty,

the construction for observation fell not because of the God,

but because some people did it.

And about Bai Lu's death,

I've already casted coins.

Bai Lu is a blessing,

from the God,

to protect you from such disasters.

So now, we can consider that the white deer has finished his mission.

Now I'm sure that you can rest assured,

not only you will be healthy,

but also everything will happen smoothly.

What you said is the white deer has endured the disaster for me?

So why don't you say so before the promotion?

Your Majesty, if that's a chance from God,

the blessing can't be kept if we say it out loud,

and we even might face more troubles.

I was thinking for you and your precious health, Your Majesty,

that's why I didn't say anything.

My master told me that

all the blessings on this world

start from the protecting our master.

the white deer is just like that.

You said that

The construction for observation fell not because of the God,

but because some people did it?

Your Majesty, I watch the movement of nature everyday,

I discovered that in The construction for observation's direction, there are no stars moved.

Jin Xing has always protected The construction for observation.

That's why my guess is

somebody had done something to The construction for observation,

not the God.

If I'm wrong,

you can punish me as you want.

Okay.

I will send people to investigate about The construction for observation,

when the result comes in, I will decide.

About the white deer,

it's your fault that you didn't take care carefully.

You will be grounded for 7 days as a punishment

because you let the white deer escaped.

You can't come out taoist temple in 7 days.

If I know that all you've said is a lie,

it will come with a punishment.

Thank you Your Majesty.

Stop.

Aunt.

You even have the nice intention to call me aunt?

What is my daughter to you in your eyes?

A merchandise?

That you can buy whenever you want,

sell whenever you want?

I have never seen Jin Xia as a merchandise,

just that we are not suitable for the other.

Not suitable?

You have to say she isn't suitable to boost your career.

Don't think that I know nothing.

Dr. Lin said everything.

Because she saved you,

she almost lost her live.

She's already written her will.

It's fine if you can't send her a thank you,

but as a person, you can't be that cruel.

Aunt,

I'm very sorry.

I've already made up my mind.

After this, in my mansion,

don't ever let me see you.

If I see you, even once,

I will beat you, badly.

Don't tell me that I haven't warned you just then.

What does my Jin Xia see in you?

Why are you here?

Dr. Lin,

our childe wants to invite you to talk about the old times.

I don't have anything to talk with him.

Then don't blame for being rough.

What do you want to do?

Help.

You awake?

Yan Shi Fan, you...

You've been in the imperial city for so long,

but you haven't come see me.

I waited for you very impatiently.

There are no other ways.

I miss you so much,

that's why I asked Yan Feng to invite you here.

He didn't hurt you, right?

Ling Er.

Don't touch me.

Okay, I won't.

Ling Er,

I like you.

I want you to whole-heartedly stay by my side.

Is that okay?

Never even in your dreams.

Aunt.

Aunt.

Oh no.

What if...

Master, please do something.

If my aunt is being captured by Yan Shi Fan,

we won't know what horrible things might happen.

I will go and save Ling Er.

Me too.

Please calm down.

Big brother Lu.

Let me go, Yang Yue.

Uncle Gai.

Let me go.

Big brother Lu,

please calm down.

We are not sure that

Ling Er is being held captive at the Yan mansion or not.

She's my only close relative.

Even if there's only a small hope, I'll investigate.

Xia Er, the Yan mansion is not a simple place.

The defense is extremely tight,

surrounded by troops,

if you're careless just for a second, you can't even keep your live.

Like this.

I'll find someone to probe first.

If it's true that Ling Er is being help captive at Yan mansion,

we will continue to look for a solution.

Yes, father is right.

We have to make a long-term plan,

we can't be reckless.

Aunt, what should I do

to save you from Yan Shi Fan?

I really don't know what Jin Xia's group is up to.

This stupid girl

don't risk your life for me.

Now Yan Shi Fan knows who Jin Xia is.

What we can do now

to live peacefully

is to kill Yan Shi Fan.

The imperial city really is showily rich.

The land of royalty,

of course it has to be showily rich.

But I still prefer our Yang Zhou.

Come here and have a look.

Senior sister,

I want to visit Jin Xia.

Okay.

But we need to finish our business first.

The guards at Yan mansion are really high-alerted, what should we do?

Miss Xia, don't worry.

Yan Shi Fan has admired aunt Lin for a long time,

he definitely doesn't want to hurt her.

Moreover,

we don't even know where aunt Lin is.

What if she's not at Yan Shi Fan's place?

After thinking carefully, the biggest possibility

is that she was captured by Yan Shi Fan.

Officials.

Whose alcohol jars?

Why do you put it in the middle of the road?

Boss.

Why are you shouting, don't you have work to do?

Yes, officials.

If you put your alcohol stand in the middle of the road like this,

how can others pass?

Please calm down.

The year is ending,

Yan Ge mansion is preparing a party for the court officials.

He spared a small stand like us,

and placed an order of 60 jars of alcohol,

and wants it to be delivered to the mansion tomorrow.

I can't do it alone,

so I put it here temporarily.

I hope that you two can accept it.

A party at Yan mansion?

Yes.

When is the party?

I don't really know when the party is,

they only said I had to deliver the alcohol tomorrow.

Tomorrow?

Okay, I understand.

We don't take your money.

Hurry up and look for people to clean this up.

Thank you so much for your understanding.

Hurry up and move.

You two please take care.

The chance is here.

No.

No, what do you want to do, you can't wander around.

The party at Yan mansion has to look for outsiders for help.

We can disguise and sneak in

to investigate thoroughly.

Miss Xia, even if we can sneak in,

that doesn't mean we can discover anything.

You're right, that's too dangerous.

Forget it, we have to look for a long-term plan.

No, we've decided.

Forget it for real.

Yes.

Let's go.

No.

Miss Xia, if you really want to go,

remember to tell me,

don't go there alone.

Of course I'll tell you.

I've already told you that we are thinking about the long-term plan, let's go.

Hurry up, hurry.

Be carefull and don't drop things, hurry up.

Okay, okay.

Come on.

Be careful.

Hurry up.

Quicker.

Okay.

Be careful, hurry up.

Don't be lazy. | I know.

Stop right there.

Where do you want to go?

You want to skip again?

No, I don't.

Then go, your work is over there.

Hurry up and work, the party is about to start.

Okay, okay.

Hurry up.

How is sir Fang lately?

I haven't congratulated

on your good news yet.

Thank you.

Municipal secretary Lu from the Imperial Police Department is here.

Sir Lu.

Municipal secretary Lu.

Sir Yan.

Why isn't General Lu here yet?

My father's health is not good,

so he told me to go.

Is General Lu okay?

He's fine, you don't have to worry.

That's good.

Municipal secretary Lu, please come this way.

Hurry up and follow.

My room here is quite small,

it can't be luxurious like your room back in Wu An Gang.

Please don't laugh.

Come here and have some tea, and relax.

Xi Er, it must have been hard for you on the road,

you might be very tired so sit here.

I'm fine.

Xi Er, have some water.

Let me pour you some.

You don't have to do it, you must be tired too.

I'm fine, I'm not tired.

Be careful with the heat.

Slow down.

Don't have to be fast.

What are you doing?

Are you pretending that I'm not here?

You talk too much.

Yang Yue,

where is Jin Xia?

What's with her and that Lu Yi brat?

She...

Jin Xia is not by Lu Yi's side anymore.

Not by his side?

Lu Yi did something bad to Jin Xia, right?

No, that's not it.

It's because of Jin Xia's status.

What does Jin Xia's status

have anything to do with Lu Yi?

Jin Xia, she is....

Stop being so hesitant.

Hurry up and and tell me.

What's wrong

with her?

Yang Yue, is Jin Xia's status

something that's hard to talk about?

We are not outsiders,

so we will not leak it.

She's right, hurry up and tell us.

Jin Xia, she is

a descendent of Xia Ran.

The former first assistant Xia Ran?

Dr. Lin and Jin Xia

were all looking for their loved ones,

not knowing they are right next to each other.

That coincidence is such a blessing.

Yes, it is.

Lu Yi was afraid that he might get involved so he left Jin Xia.

I can't believe he's that type of person.

No way.

I have to find Lu Yi

to clear Jin Xia's name.

Junior brother please calm down.

That's right.

Aunt Lin was just captured by Yan Shi Fan,

Jin Xia is in her sorrowful mood again.

So I think that

brother Xie shouldn't look for Lu Yi right now,

in order to avoid making Jin Xia more sad.

Here is the imperial city,

it's Yan Shi Fan's area,

that makes saving aunt Lin more hard.

That's right.

Moreover, even uncle Gai

cannot think of any plans.

Jin Xia must worry so much.

She won't act on her own, right?

I can't tie her next to me to watch after her.

I'm afraid that something will happen.

I'm worried too.

I will check on her.

Okay.

What are you doing?

What are you sneaking aroung here?

Officials,

I,

I follow my master here to this party

but in the middle of it, I want to find the bathroom.

I didn't think that the Yan mansion

is so big and like a maze,

I can't find my way.

I hope that officials can help me find my way.

Who do you follow?

I, I follow...

follow...

Follow me.

Sir, I only ask out of my duty,

I mean no harm.

It's my servant doesn't know how to act,

sorry for bothering you.

Let's go.

Please take care.

Municipal secretary Lu.

Sir Yan.

Municipal secretary Lu,

how are you?

You leave the party so soon?

I still have things to do.

I just reported that with Yan Ge.

So I will leave first.

It's very rare

to meet municipal secretary Lu

in a party like this.

Today is such a rare day,

not only you attend this party,

but you also bring along

a very gorgeous servant.

Miss,

why didn't you behave when you saw master?

I came here to replace my father.

His health is not good,

I have to come back and take care of him.

I will leave first.

I told you to be patient right?

Just now Yan Shi Fan has recognizied you.

What's wrong if he knows?

He took my aunt away.

Why do I have to think much about that?

Dr. Lin was captured by Yan Shi Fan?

Why don't you come and ask me?

I'm a grand-daughter of a prisoner,

you can't even avoid me enough, why do you want to help me?

Promise me,

you have to stay safe.

Please be more careful in the future,

for me.

okay?

I understand.

You should be nice.

After this, you only need to follow

whatever I tell you.

So that no mistakes will happen.

I, Lu Yi,

want to marry only one person in this world, and that person is you.

Yuan Jin Xia,

please remember everything, everything has me.

You don't have to worry

about others.

Please trust me in this case.

I'm very grateful that

you just saved me,

but please from now on, keep your distance with me

so that you won't get involved.

If you have nothing to say,

I'll leave first.

Mother.

Come here.

You see.

I'm coming to catch you.

Hurry up and run.

Run.

Here.

Come and catch her.

Catch me.

Mother, don't run.

I'm gonna catch you, catch you.

I caught you.

What should we do now?

Let's catch her this round, okay?

Okay. Come and catch me.

Come on, aunt is behind you.

Help her catch mommy.

Hurry.

Mother.

Catch her. | Catch her.

You can't catch me.

Come, come.

Come and catch me.

Slow down.

Slow down.

You caught me.

Xia Er is really good.

You caught me, right, Xia Er is really good.

Mother,

now Yan Shi Fan has captured aunt,

and I can't do anything.

I'm really useless.

It's not easy to find my

only relative.

I really don't want to lose her.

What should I do?

Mother, please tell me

what should I do?

No,

I can't come close to Jin Xia now.

Because of your sake.

Jin Xia.

I'd rather let you hate me,

but please trust me,

I'll give you an answer.

Jin Xia.

Mother.

There was a guy named Xie Xiao outside the gate said he wanted to meet you

at Xin Feng bridge.

Xie Xiao?

He said that if he couldn't meet you today,

he wouldn't come home.

Hurry up and meet him.

Go.

Yes.

Mother, you should go rest.

I'll be back after a while.

Here, Yuan Jin Xia.

You see.

I'm so tired.

I know.

I know it all.

Xie Yuan Yuan.

I have finally found my family,

but I can't protect her.

Yuan Da Xia,

right now you don't look like

that Yuan Da Xia who's afraid of nothing

that I knew.

What's with the afraid of nothing?

I used to think that

I just need to make some money,

get on with my day,

so even if the sky fell down, I wouldn't be afraid.

But right now, if the sky really falls down,

I can only sit here,

and I will not be able to move forward.

I'm an adult,

but why can't I protect my loved one?

I'm really useless.

How are you useless?

It's the Yan family's power is too strong.

Please stop crying.

I don't know what should I do now.

I have no idea.

I don't want to sit and wait like this.

I don't want to do anything.

You still have me, right?

If anything happens,

we can do this together,

we can think of a solution together.

Even though

Wu An Gang doesn't have much power in imperial city,

but my Kung fu is not bad.

From now on, with dangerous missions,

just let me help you.

Thank you, Xie Yuan Yuan.

But this is my business,

I don't want to get you involved.

Unless you give up on being my acquaintance.

If we are good acquaintances,

then we should do this together.

Yuan Da Xia,

for you,

even if I have to go through forest of blades and sea of fire,

I won't regret it.

Please don't reject me.

Okay.

Even if you reject me,

I still do it.

No more crying.

Okay.

Why do you still cry even though you are an adult?

Today, we will

throw away all of our worries,

everything will be fine, right?

Let's go for some fireworks.

Come on.

Here you go.

Forget all of our worries.

Thank you, Xie Yuan Yuan.

If you keep thanking me, our relationship will become distant.

No more.

Yuan Da Xia,

here I am.
