Sir!

What's wrong?

You'd better quickly find a chance

to tell Min Er about your female identity.

Why?

Didn't you tell me

it's not good for women to work outside?

You disguised to tavern for officers

to prevent local officers interrupting

our investigation in Hangzhou.

How about now?

Didn't you say you understand woman's feelings the most?

What?

You don't realize that

Min Er has a crush on you?

A crush?

Even though I saved her life,

it doesn't mean she has to use herself to repay me.

She can consider me as a man.

But, with an elegant appearance,

she won't like me.

Since she met you,

her feelings haven't changed.

You'd better find a chance

to explain it to her.

Avoid troubles later on.

Sir! How can you tell she looking at me without looking at her?

I see you really care about her.

That's why just from her look,

you can understand so many things.

Just do what I say!

What actually happened between you and Sir Lu?

What is what?

Nothing happened!

You dare deny that!

Since the moment you guys finished talking,

I can tell that you have no mood for a walk.

What? Did he bully you?

No!

How could he bully me?

We were talking about Chun Yu Min.

Right!

Miss Shang Guan also talked to me about it.

What are you gonna do?

I also....

Brother Yuan!

Speaking of the devil!

Miss Chun Yu.

Brother Yuan!

I have something to tell you.

I'm leaving now.

You two can have a chat.

No need to leave, Da Yang!

Miss Chun Yu, what's up?

It was you who saved me last time.

It's also you who saved me this time.

I...

I actually don't know how to repay you.

Miss Chun Yu, you're so ceremonious.

It's not only me who saved you.

It's different!

You're totally different from others in my heart.

I'm screwed. I'm screwed.

Actually...

Actually, I have something...

This is the wallet I spent many nights to make.

It's for you.

Twin lotus flowers on one stalk.

I'm screwed, I'm screwed!

It's a mess this time!

It's fortunate that there was nothing happened to you this time.

I was worried to death.

My Lady, next time if you go out side,

you definitely have to bring me with you.

It's just half a day.

Brother Yuan is also not a harsh person.

A lady like me who brings a maid

will make me look fragile.

I'm afraid that....

You afraid that Childe Yuan won't like it?

Your mouth is becoming more reckless.

My Lady, did you give your wallet to him?

I just wonder

whether he will understand my implication

when seeing twin lotus flowers on one stalk on the wallet.

My Lady,

your heart for Childe Yuan will be witnessed by God.

If not stupid,

he'll surely give you an answer.

Who is that?

Childe Yuan!

Lady Chunyu!

Lady Chunyu!

Childe Yuan, please come in!

My Lady, I will go make some tea.

Childe Yuan!

Have a seat!

No, I won't need it.

Lady Chunyun!

Thanks for the wallet you gifted me.

However, it's not suitable for me.

You... don't like it?

No!

Your wallet is good.

This wallet is supposed to be for the person you like.

It's just...

It's not because you don't like the wallet,

so it must be because you don't like the person who gifted it.

Our Chunyun's the emperor.

But it's more because

my mom knows those in the dynasty.

Dad's afraid that one day

Lu family can't protect us.

So he wants me to marry Big Brother.

We're closer and closer.

But I know

I'm not suitable with him

when coming to his family background.

Neither marrying nor

being a wife, I can only be a concubine.

Not to mention now,

you're the only one in my heart.

If you scorn me...

I...

No, no, no!

Lady Chunyun, I don't scorn you.

You're a lady of a respectable family.

How can I scorn you?

It's about me.

I am not worthy.

You're afraid parents won't accept us?

They've loved me since I was a child.

I will go beg them.

With your help,

they will definitely agree.

No.

We have no chance.

Even for the whole life.

I am not your soulmate.

You should find someone else.

Why?

If you're hesitant,

we can runaway together.

If I'm in your heart.

If it's you, I am not afraid of following you everywhere.

Do you really want to know the reason?

I am actually a girl.

You!

It's impossible!

No way!

No way!

I'm sorry!

Even though this is unwanted,

it's still my fault.

I didn't expect that...

Enough!

My Lady, what's wrong?

My Lady!

If it can calm you down,

just throw at me.

I won't dodge.

My Lady!

Why do you fool me?

Childe Yuan!

No!

Miss Yuan!

Go away!

My Lady!

What's actually happening?

Why does Childe Yuan turn into Miss Yuan?

Sir!

It's dirty.

Give me your hand!

Why does Big Brother treat a cheater so nice?

Do you feel self-pity?

I don't!

I deserve it.

Sir!

I'm fine.

I'm leaving now.

I need to clean myself.

It turns out that he has such a gentle aspect.

Valentine Day is close.

I told Ms Liu

to call for the best tailor in our city

to measure your outfits.

He'll make some new outfits for you.

Right!

You need more jewelries too.

Min Er.

Min Er.

Yes, mother!

Auntie!

Lu Yi.

Sir!

This girl is....

Childe Yuan.

Yes, I am.

Why do you disguise yourself as a girl?

Auntie!

Jin Xia has always been a girl.

She's a bailiff of Imperial Police Department.

This time, she assists me to solve a case.

That's why she had to disguised herself as a man.

Oh really.

Come here so I can see you.

Such a beautiful young lady.

All women love beauty.

You should tell them get you make up items.

This is so unfair for you.

No, it's not.

It's my mission.

Valentine Day is on the way.

I was talking about making some new outfits for Min Er.

You're right on time.

Yuan Yang.

We'd better make some outfits for Miss Yuan.

No, no need to!

It's not necessary, Madam!

I don't deserve it.

Moreover, I'm always busy with work.

I don't have time for Valentine Day.

No need to make new outfits.

You saved Min Er's life.

Simply some clothes

aren't many for you.

Valentine Day.

It's the skillful Tet holiday of ladies and also the day of love.

It cannot be cursory!

Also, there's a Flower festival.

What is that festival?

You may not know as you've stayed at the imperial city for so long.

Once every three years.

Hangzhou will organize a Flower festival.

In this festival, they will choose the most beautiful and skillful lady

to perform a dance on stage

so that the artist can use her dance

draw a scene with horse in the river, which will make everybody praise.

The chosen one

will be the target for men to compete.

So it's similar to the blessing of the Valentine Day

to get blessings from Valentine fairies.

Isn't it?

That's why new dresses are required.

If you have such a generous kindness,

I can only obey.

Thanks, Madam!

Great!

Sir! Do you really have to join

that flower contemplating festival?

Once visiting Hangzhou,

it's a pity to miss it.

How about the investigation?

What must be done

will be done.

Just not good for

the local authority show up.

I've asked Miss Shang Guan to come and help.

She will send Wu An Gang in Hangzhou

to scout

to see if there's anything unusual.

Big Brother!

What are you talking about?

Just work stuffs.

I truly admire sister,

who can assist you to solve case.

Not like me,

a lady who has never been out of the house.

I can only sit in the house for all day.

I hardly have any chance to show up.

That's right!

You are different from her.

I remembered

before during Tet holiday,

you always came to visit me.

You even had gifts for me.

One time,

you gave me a jade pendant, which I always kept next to me.

I still always keep it carefully.

I will not interfere the conversation

between you and your sister.

I am leaving now.

Enough releasing stress!

You already know about it?

She told me already!

It's my fault to like her.

Brother! If you already knew,

you should know that

this is such a shame for a lady like me.

How can I even bottle up my anger.

She is always like that.

She didn't mean to fool you.

Actually, this one

is on me.

If you really have to blame her,

you can blame me instead.

I have never seen you protect

anyone like that.

Even though she didn't mean to do it,

she tried to keep it secret.

She knew my feelings from the start,

but still intended to hide me.

She surely wanted to fool me.

I secretly admired men.

Even though my moral has defect,

Yuan Jin Xia

always annoys me.

I have suffered such a resentment

Let her treat me as monkey.

Brother, you are going to let it pass like that?

Lady Yuan!

You are looking for me?

There are somethings my gentle Lady

is afraid to tell you.

As her maid,

I will definitely have to say a few words in defense of her.

Just tell me!

It was my Lady's mistake

that created such a misunderstanding like that.

But everything's clear now,

our lady's out of love with you.

Now, she truly knows the one in her heart

is actually Young Master.

Sir Lu.

My Master intended to match-make

my Lady and Young Master.

My Lady told you

she didn't agree to be a concubine.

However, things nowadays are different from the past.

My Lady has thought everything through.

To get married with Young Master,

being a concubine isn't unacceptable.

My Lady didn't think so back then,

but now she does.

As a maid,

it's my duty to

consider Young Master as Future Master.

Even though Miss Yuan works with Young Master,

you're still a woman.

Men with high ambition may ignore little things.

You can ignore rumors,

and misunderstandings.

But our Lady,

and our Chun Yu palace

can't let people harm Young Master's reputation

or consider him a lady-killer.

Miss Yuan Yang, I understand

what you're saying.

It's good if you've got it.

You mean as I intentionally hurt your Lady's feelings,

she decides to get married with Sir Lu.

Within merely one day,

she has already fallen for him.

You're sure she truly loves Sir Lu?

Also,

she accepts to be a concubine to marry him.

Does Sir know and agree?

This...

This can be settled by their parents.

No way he'll refuse.

You're saying my Sir hasn't agreed yet.

So whether this marriage is done or not,

we can't be sure of it.

Also, Sir Lu and I are on the same boat,

devoting ourselves to the court.

How can you compare a marriage

with national affairs?

Using national matters to threaten me,

you're making difficulties for a tiny maid.

It's you who come to see me first.

I only base on your words,

to run a few ideas.

Moreover, I told you about

single women and single men.

Even if there's something between Sir and me,

we only need to love each other.

It's none of others' business.

How can a girl like you

say such shameful words?

I know you're doing this on purpose.

I made a mistake

with your Lady first.

I also sympathize with your loyalty,

not blaming a tiny maid like you.

But

you keep oppressing me.

I'm not tender, with a hot temper.

I can't bear you anymore.

Don't annoy me anymore.

Don't you scare my Lady

report you to Young Master?

I'm fine.

I can say those in front of my Sir.

One hand washes the other.

If you're okay,

I'll be happy despite of what you say

or report to Sir.

Wait and see.

Yuan Jin Xia.

It serves me right!

I have nothing to do but messing with her?

Hurt myself.

That's right.

You're different from her!

She is a Lady, never coming outside.

I am a small bailiff, always catching thief and fish.

We're different.

What do you mean?

Min Er...

I just want you to see through her.

I think,

she has other plans with you.

She's good at enchanting people.

I don't want Big Brother

to be fooled like me.

You must beware.

Since my mom passed away,

I've rarely visited Hangzhou.

As you haven't seen me for years,

you may not understand me now.

Being a Imperial Guard those years,

I've met a lot of offenders.

My skills to see through people has developed a lot.

A real simile or a fake smile.

Real or fake tears.

If I examine carefully,

I can see through 8, 9 parts.

About her personality,

I know her myself.

If your and her

personalities are exchanged,

she'll never use this way to revenge.

She's not a normal Lady.

That's why I said

you and her are different.

Sister.

You don't need to pretend to be smart in front of me.

You think I'm that restive?

Everything I said is true.

Don't you believe me!

There's one I believe.

She's best at enchanting people.

Dumplings.

Dumplings.

Give it a try!

Senior Sister.

Why do you always help that Lu whenever he needs you?

He's an authority, I'm a civilian.

How can I refuse?

He's supported by The Imperial Guards,

why still needs us?

Sir Lu said

it wasn't convenient for the local authority to intervene.

Otherwise, I don't want to see their face.

If it weren't for Jin Xia,

I would never seen his face.

I told you already.

He's an authority.

You should beware when talking to him.

You'll take over Wu An Gang.

Then can't avoid contacting with authorities.

Don't act like that again.

Wu An Gang is surrounded.

Really?

No ideas.

There.

Let's go and have a look.

Let's go.

Dead men tell no tales.

Please let us through.

Someone died.

Blood will have blood, dead men tell no tales.

Please calm down.

Blood will have blood.

Please go home.

Wu An Gang oppresses civilians in broad daylight!

Where's the moral?

He's right. Why send him away?

Let them be clear.

Calm down, no need to hurry.

My husband and his caravan went to Yangzhou.

Afraid to face the Japanese,

they hired Wu An Gang to deliver the good.

Unfortunately, they really faced them.

Wu An Gang told me

my husband and the entire caravan were killed.

But days ago, my husband was back at midnight.

He was covered in blood.

He tried to the death coming home

to tell me and my son the truth.

The truth behind this.

What's the truth?

The truth is

there were actually no Japanese.

It's you people.

Those cruel people

killed the entire caravan

and possessed the assets.

You're lying!

Wu An Gang murders people for assets.

You bring my father back.

You're lying.

Inhuman.

To kill for robbery.

Please keep silent.

Prior Shang Guan.

I'm Shang Guan Xi, Prior Zhu Que of Wu An Gang.

If this is real,

our Wu An Gang won't ignore it.

Madam, if you're telling the truth,

why don't you report us?

Report?

There's no witness, what's the point in reporting?

If you don't, let me do it.

You report?

Everyone knows you and the authority are in cahoots

over those things.

That's right.

They're in cahoots.

Let me ask you,

where is his body?

It was an frightful death,

don't you want him to rest in peace?

We already buried him.

Buried?

So, things change.

The truth you told

was from the dead.

If we don't see the body,

who can assure

he came back alive?

You... You...

Otherwise, I have an idea.

We can invite the authority to come

and check on the body.

Until your husband is identified,

don't say anything.

- Conscienceless. │ - My husband.

So conscienceless.

Not only murdering him,

but also opening his tomb.

My dead husband doesn't deserve it.

- So conscienceless. │ - Rest in peace.

Or dear.

If your husband is a victim,

I'll help clear himself.

He won't blame you.

You, go invite people from yamen.

Yes, Miss.

Shut your mouth up.

Don't want others to live?

Right, don't you want others to live?

That's right. They don't want others to live.

Look. They don't want others to live.

Don't let others live.

Stand back.

Don't go further.

You stay here. I'll follow them.

Okay.

Stay away. Otherwise, I'll beat you.

Stop there.

Hurry.

Yuan Jin Xia, Yang Yue.

Xie Xiao, Wu An Gang.

One day,

I'll repay you enough.

You village master's lucky to be alive.

Now has to depend on Big Master Mao.

The grudge of Dong Family Over-water Village

will soon be solved.

I won't forgive any of them.

But

killing people of Wu An Gang requires a long term plan.

No problem.

We must help Childe get things done.

In addition,

Big Master told us to get Yuan Jin Xia.

You're sure she's at Chunyu family?

Yes. She and Lu Yi are there.

That's difficult.

We must think of other ways.

Lady.

I met Miss Yuan in the daytime.

She talked nonsense.

Obviously, she got a mistake first.

Then pretend to be a satisfied small-minded girl.

Being supported by Young Master,

she doesn't pay respect to you.

She also said...

Said what?

Said

If a single man and a single woman

like her and Young Master have something,

you're still a bystander.

It's none of your business.

A bystander?

I'll let her know who's the bystander.

You mean...

I must get married into Lu family.

After the Flower festival,

I'll discuss with my father.

I'll ask him for plans.

But Young Master isn't kind of person

who favors someone.

I'm afraid he won't treasure beauty.

He treating me good or bad isn't matter.

Only with married him,

I get the best revenge against her.

Yesterday,

Wu An Gang was harmed.

This is quite interesting.

Interesting?

Sir Lu.

You really

want to see chaos in Wu An Gang?

Xie Xiao.

Don't be rude.

It's okay.

Young Master Xie's temper,

I get used to it.

Besides,

when I was chasing the mother and the son,

I was interrupted by a crew

with veils.

These people are really motley.

Their kungfus are different.

Some are different with the Chinese's.

Sir.

Can they be the Japanese?

If they really are,

Hangzhou is currently their target.

The Japanese?

They're clearly aiming at

our Wu An Gang.

If they're the Japanese,

why are they messing with Wu An Gang?

There must be reasons behind those things.

I want to rule the world together

Childe.

Why don't you inform Lan Ye in advance

about your sudden visit?

So what?

You're blaming me for not informing you in advance?

Childe, please calm down.

Lan Ye don't dare to blame you.

You Childe suddenly visit Yangzhou.

Lan Ye don't welcome you in time.

So afraid of upsetting you.

Stand up. I also don't want to blame you.

No need to blame yourself.

You don't stand up even when being told to.

Something happened?

Lan Ye can't complete your mission,

so feel guilty.

Please punish me.

I knew this.

Yan Feng said you even got hurt because of this.

Just a small wound. No problem.

I like smart and obedient women.

Yes.

Lin Ling is the one I desire.

You'd better not get involved.

I understand.

Stand up.

Don't get involved in Lin Ling's business.

I have other things for you to do.

Da Yang.

Something happened between

you and Senior Sister Shang Guan, right?

Since you two came to Hangzhou,

I've smelt something strange.

No. Not at all.

Nothing between us.

Not at all. Don't guess wildly.

You think I just met you?

I told you. Nothing.

Hurry up.

Come on. Beautiful brooches.

Let's buy brooches.

Sir,

do all palaces in Hangzhou do good business?

It's just a crew.

This is a merchant's big family

famous in our Hangzhou.

Half salt in this city comes from Si Ma palace.

Salt business?

That's why.

You're right.

The festival's close.

Flower festival

will be held by big boss Si Ma

on that day.

He has a lot of money.

If someone marries him,

she'll surely enjoy a wealthy and happy life.

You say so...

Actually, humans are imperfect.

Big boss Si Ma is all good

except for one thing

that he's very ugly.

That's why he must wear a mask all year round.

No one sees his face until now.

It's such a pity.

Also a person with poor fate.

He marries 2 wives within 3 years.

Soon after the marriage,

the wives died all of a sudden.

Now people rumor that

he kills his wife.

Such a poor fate.

He's rich but gets no luck to enjoy.

Poor him.

You're right.

Miss, let's look at those brooches.

If you buy my brooches and

attend the Flower festival,

you'll be very lucky.

Then,

men proposing you at your door

will surely fight for entering.

You're such a talented merchant.

You mean every girl buys your brooches

will win a first prize?

You're exaggerating.

It's good, though.

Alright.

Does this Childe have someone in your mind?

Those brooches aren't simple at all.

A lot of effort put in.

Made by a craft store in Hangzhou.

They'll definitely help you win the one in your heart.

How much is it?

You have such good eyes.

They're my treasures.

We meet by fate,

so...

only 2 silver.

2 silver? Are you kidding?

They're really delicate.

I know you'll charge a high price,

but don't even know it's up to 2 silver.

It's a soft price.

These two brooches...

I only have those, enough?

It's enough, enough.

Take them.

Thank you.

I lose my capital for you.

Pretty?

Really pretty.

Thank you.

You're welcome. Take your time.

Jin Xia, Jin Xia.

Let's buy brooches.

Yang Yue.

You find me?

Yes.

What's that?

There only some days left before the Flower festival.

Jin Xie will join, too.

She told me to ask you come with.

This brooch is...

is...

her gift for you.

Give my thanks to her.

Okay.

This brooch is...

is...

her gift for you.

So stupid.

Sister.

Miss Yuan.

Do you have some food left?

I do.

What do you want to eat?

Anything is okay.

Okay, please go back to your room first.

I'll bring food to you later.

Thank you, sister.

Wait a minute.

What did Miss Yuan find?

She's hungry, so asks me for some food.

What makes you so happy?

Lady.

Maybe I helped to vent your anger out.

What did you do?

I just wandered at the corridor,

then saw Miss Yuan getting food at the kitchen.

Then I told the maid at the kitchen

to tell her waiting at Second Young Master's room

and get her some fruit wine.

Lady, you also know

that wine's very strong.

Drinking it with an empty stomach,

will make her reveal everything.

This fun game

must come with audience.

You mean...

We not only bring her wine,

but also give her someone.

You go back first.

Let me here.

Yes, Young Master.

Head's up to admire shining moonlight.

You.

It's not easy for me to see you.

How dare you not to be full?

Be a full moon.

Sir.

The roof is so high.

How can you get here?

You think I can't without you?

Your levitation isn't good.

How surprising! You can

get to the roof after getting drunk.

Very beautiful.

Be careful.

Nice wine.

Who gave you wine?

Give it to me.

Why do you pour it out?

Why do you pour it out?

You drank a lot.

Stop drinking.

Sir, you're so handsome.

Even more pretty than other sisters in Xiao Xiang Ge.

How nonsense.

I tell the truth.

You see.

Your eyebrows.

Your eyes.

And...

Why are you laughing?

I'll tell you a secret.

I...
