Why don't you marry me?

I happen to have a spot for a mistress.

If you're willing,

I can propose immediately.

Who do you think you are?

If you promise to be the son-in-law of Shenwei Armed Escorts,

I might consider it.

Really?

Of course not!

Yang Xiao, let me tell you this.

I will definitely find a husband for Yin Ruo

who is a hundred times better than you.

You just wait.

Still not leaving?

If you don't leave now,

you won't be able to

even if you want to.

Yang Xiao, you jerk!

Why is Sister not out yet?

Is she coming out?

I haven't eaten yet.

Why are there mosquitoes?

Shuan Zi, let's go.

Sister.

Shouldn't you jump off the wall?

If you can just walk out like this,

why do you need to step on me every time to climb the wall?

I wanted to jump.

But I couldn't because my skill is not working.

Also,

We are people of the martial world.

Why walk when you can fly?

Why are you looking at me like that?

Is there a flower on my face?

Not a flower,

but why is your face so red?

Did you have a drink with him?

Of course not! Let's go.

My Lord.

My Lord, what are you writing?

Yin Ruo's dowry list.

My Lord, Yin Ruo is marrying into the Yang family.

She will have financial security.

Why does she need so much dowry?

My Lord.

This is not how you usually manage your finances.

That's why you don't understand.

If parents love their children, they will do long-term plans for them.

That's too far ahead.

Look at all these. She can't spend it all.

Look at this, My Lord.

[Bai Yin Ruo's Dowry]

Twenty shops.

There's no need for this many.

Think about it.

Yin Ruo has never done any business.

She wouldn't know how to take care of a shop.

I think so too.

Then, I shall change the twenty shops to

200,000 silver taels.

Stop!

My Lord, you cannot add more money.

I'm taking away the shops.

We have to replace it with something.

I told you.

We should save when we can,

and spend where we must.

If Yin Ruo has the money,

she doesn't need to worry about taking care of the shops.

My lord, you are such a caring father.

But can you share a bit of this father's love with Bai Yi?

He is our only son.

Again, you don't get it.

As the ancient saying goes,

"Sons be raised in frugality and daughters in abundance."

The most important thing for Bai Yi now

is to learn to be self-sufficient.

That Yang Xiao.

He is like an old lady eating porridge while leaning on the wall.

Old lady eating porridge while leaning on the wall?

What does that mean?

Despicable, shameless and nasty.

Yang Xiao is a scoundrel.

He has lost his mind.

It got flushed down the pipe.

Even if a mosquito bit his face,

it would want to kill itself.

But I think

he has quite a good-looking face.

He has the face of a human,

but the heart of a beast.

So, did he promise to marry me?

He did promise to marry you, but...

But...

But what?

He wants me to be the mistress. That bastard.

Yin Ruo.

Yang Xiao is not a good person.

Why don't we find someone else?

He wants to marry you?

Don't you listen to him.

He's just trying to torture me.

He wants to piss me off.

Why is it so hard for me to marry someone?

I can't fulfil my mother's last wish.

I don't deserve to have beautiful love.

[Yang Xiao, even if you're a rock,]

[I will make sure you become rotten.]

[I don't believe that I can't handle someone like you.]

Madam, it is a disease that causes disorder.

It is due to the recent overwork, causing lethargy

and weak vitals.

Doctor.

I have practised martial arts for many years.

How come I have never heard

of this disorder?

How impolite!

You have no right to speak here.

Doctor, how to treat this disease?

She needs to rest more

and work less.

Madam, you need to take care of your health.

Yes, you need to take care of your health.

Thank you, doctor.

Someone.

Send the doctor out.

My Lord, my body have failed to live up to your expectation.

It's better to go with Sister Wan Jun.

My Lord.

Luckily, the marriage date for Young Lady has not been set.

Why don't we ask the Yang family

to postpone the wedding.

My lord, since the madam is so sick,

why don't you let Yin Ruo manage the household.

This way, it is easier to control the dowry.

My Lord.

My Lord.

How can you let a young lady prepare her own dowry?

Everything is Yin Ruo's very own belongings.

It is more convenient for her to handle it herself.

Also,

if Yin Ruo marries into the Yang family,

she needs to handle the household matter there too.

It's good to practice early.

My Lord.

My Lord, you don't have to worry about this matter.

Just leave it to Bai Yi.

Bai Yi is old enough.

He can handle it.

Alright then.

I will leave it to Bai Yi.

My Lord, you're the best.

Hurry up.

Listen.

Take out all the valuable cloths in this box

and put them in this box.

Take the defective products we brought

and put them into this box.

Understand?

-Understood. -Understood.

Do it properly.

Young Master Baby Dragon.

Wild girl, why are you here?

What am I doing here?

This is where Yin Ruo stores her dowry.

You ask me why I'm here?

Of course, I am here to check on the inventory.

What about you?

What are you doing here?

I am here to count the inventory of sister's dowry.

You can't stop me.

I guess I can't.

But, what a coincidence.

Today, Yin Ruo just copied

the dowry list from your father

and asked me to come here to double check it.

If there is anything wrong,

I will need to report to Master Bai, no?

You should know

that your father

takes the dowry matter very seriously.

If anyone tries to do anything funny,

he will be punished severely.

This box too, right?

No.

Maybe, yes.

So it is.

Why did you lock it?

You don't want me to find out any secrets?

Young Master, give me the key.

Why should I?

Why should you?

Because my lady Yin Ruo is getting married soon

and I need the key to come over and check the inventory again.

I'm in charge of taking care of my sister's dowry.

So I must be present.

Next time you want to count,

just call me here again.

I will be troubling the Young Master.

No trouble at all.

It's all for the sake of Sister. I need to be cautious.

Need to be cautious.

I think what Young Master Pupa said is correct.

Yin Ruo's dowry is really important.

It's better to be cautious.

Be cautious.

Yue Zi Yuan, I'll get you for this!

Concubine Yu can't stand it anymore.

With her greedy nature,

I don't know when she will strike

and take all of my dowry.

Zi Yuan, you promised my mother

that you will make sure I get married.

If there is no dowry,

how do I get married?

Why don't you persuade Yang Xiao once again?

If he marries me sooner,

I can escape from the Bai family as soon as possible.

Yin Ruo, don't worry.

I know how to deal with Yang Xiao.

It's just we have a more pressing matter

to deal with right now.

We need to take care of Concubine Yu.

How?

[Restorative Sutra]

This is the only medical book left by my stepmother

and prescriptions from a few famous doctors.

They are extremely effective.

The disease mentioned in the book

can make people loose weight all of a sudden.

It can also make you lose tons of hair.

But madam has a ruddy complexion

compared to a month ago.

On the contrary, there is a tendency to gain weight.

It definitely doesn't look like a disorder caused by overwork.

More like...

Like what?

Like the stomach channel is enlarged and the gallbladder channel is retrograde.

Seems like major symptoms.

That's a pity.

Madam.

Try ask Doctor Hu.

In your prescription,

what kind of medicinal herbs were prepared?

There are

ginseng, cinnamon and wolf's bane.

Then he definitely included fritillaries.

There are fritillaries!

It's over.

Wolf's bane can poison you, ginseng makes you gassy.

Fear can increase wolf's bane toxicity,

while wolf's bane and fritillaries oppose each other.

The whole prescription is either poisonous

or it will make you sick.

Father.

Doctor Hu is obviously a quack.

Yin Ruo, hurry up and save your stepmother.

How can this be good?

My Lord, do not worry.

Last night, the two of us spent the night

in this pile of medical books

and we found this Medicine Practice Sutra.

[Restorative Sutra]

There are records in this scripture

regarding the madam's condition.

You can see all the needed prescription for the medicine.

Coptis chinensis, sophora flavescens,

chocolate vine, gentiana scabra...

All of these are very bitter.

Very bitter.

My Lord, I don't want bitter medicine.

I refuse to drink it.

Good medicine tastes bitter, madam.

Do you want to keep being sick?

My Lord, I think

Yin Huan and Jin Huan

are not looking very good either.

Why don't we prescribe some medicines

for them as well?

Zi Yuan is so caring.

You two hurry up and take the medicine according to the prescription.

Hurry up.

-Noted. -Noted.

How is it? Isn't my idea great?

Very good.

For you, as a reward.

Cheers to your hard work.

Only Yin Ruo gets me.

Yue Zi Yuan is such a bully.

Such a bully.

Madam, we have been going against Yue Zi Yuan for so long,

but there is no effect.

Maybe we need to start with Yang Xiao.

We need to let Bai Yin Ruo

give up on marrying Yang Xiao.

How do we do it?

Yin Ruo, eat more.

Sister.

This is bad. Something happened.

What's wrong, Shuan Zi?

Speak slowly. What happened?

Now, people are making noise

saying that Yang Xiao had a night of fun

with Mei and Ju at Fengya Pavilion last night.

Now they've become hostile.

The two ladies are causing trouble.

Don't try to persuade us.

-We won't go down. -We won't go down.

Where is Young Master Yang Xiao?

We won't come down until he comes.

Why isn't he here yet?

Where is Young Master Yang Xiao?

Mei Mei, Ju Ju.

Don't be reckless.

I have sent someone to deliver a letter to the Yang Residence.

Put the hairpin down.

I won't!

If Young Master Yang does not come,

we will commit suicide here.

Yes, he needs to take responsibilities on us.

Yang Xiao, you scoundrel!

You just know how to waste your time in pleasure.

How can something like this happened?

Something unprincipled like this.

Uncle, these are all rumours.

Don't listen to them.

It will ruin your health.

So you still care about my health?

The big wedding between the Bai and Yang families is approaching.

During this time,

how can you cause such a mess?

And with two ladies?

Uncle, even though I'm still young,

but being able to take on two girls in one night,

you think too highly of me.

I...

Fine.

I don't care

if someone tries to frame you,

or you don't want marry Miss Bai,

you plan and execute it yourself.

In three days,

if you don't solve this problem,

don't blame for binding you

to the bridal chambers with Miss Bai afterward.

Don't try to persuade us.

We won't go down.

Where is Young Master Yang?

Where is Young Master Yang?

Mei Mei, Ju Ju. What happened?

Yesterday,

Young Master Yang sneaked into our room

and molested us.

See. What did I tell you?

Yang Xiao is a scoundrel.

He is just a womanizer.

How can you marry such a person?

Yue Zi Yuan.

I didn't expect you to praise me that much

behind my back.

I am here to laugh at you.

I'll see how you deal with this.

Young Master Yang.

What exactly happened here?

Why did they say

you took advantage of them last night?

You two said I sexually harassed you?

What is your proof?

Young Master Yang, you need to admit the truth.

This is the pouch

you left in our room yesterday.

It contains your personal seal.

The evidence is undeniable.

We'll see how he argues.

Yes, let's see.

Now you're in real trouble.

Mei Mei, show me the pouch first.

This is our only proof.

Don't worry.

If this matter turns out to be true,

I will seek justice for you.

Give it to me.

Seal of Yang Xiao. Young Master Yang.

It's real.

Shameless.

Those with brains

will know that this seal does not belong to me.

It's just something you can buy from the streets.

You guys are easily deceived.

Please.

Don’t lower the intelligence of the whole capital, okay?

Since Young Master Yang is so sharp,

then why don't you prove your innocence?

That's right.

So Miss Yue knew I was innocent.

Shameless.

The only one who knows me is Yue Zi Yuan.

Young Master Yang.

It's better to persuade the two of them to come down before talking.

Right.

That's right. Persuade the girls to come down first.

What is he waiting for?

If you two just wish to marry into my family,

I'll just take the two of you as my concubines.

You dare to?

The real wife has not yet married into the family.

How can you take in concubines first?

Do you think this makes sense?

No, it does not.

To be my wife,

first of all, you need to be generous.

Isn't that right, Miss Bai?

Yin Ruo, don't listen to him.

Don't listen to him.

Yin Ruo.

Why did she leave?

You'll pay for this.

Yin Ruo. Yin Ruo!

That means...

Young Master Yang, you will take us in as your wives?

That's great.

We can finally marry Young Master Yang.

The two of you, hurry up and thank Young Master Yang.

I have to praise both of you.

The performance just now was really wonderful.

We are not acting.

I really want to be married to you.

I get it. Come down first.

Mistress, can I speak with you in private?

Yin Ruo, don't be angry.

I will sew shut

Yang Xiao's rotten mouth.

Don't be angry, Yin Ruo.

Young Master Yang is not only affectionate,

he has a great body too.

To think he can tackle two at once.

I wonder what's so great

about Mei and Ju.

They were able to grab Yang Xiao's attention.

It must be their hourglass-shaped bodies and long legs.

Hourglass body shape

and long legs.

If Bai Yin Ruo knows,

I wonder how she'll weep?

I...

After all,

she is too incompetent.

She is in the body of a rich young lady but suffers the fate of a servant.

I think the two of you

do not value your servant lives.

Greetings, My Lady.

What's so tasty about melon seeds?

Do you want to taste

the Yue family knuckle punch instead?

Yue Zi Yuan is hitting people!

She's hitting people!

The two of you.

Should I sew your mouths first?

Yin Ruo.

Young Master Yang Xiao.

You seem so carefree.

Aren't you going to interrogate Mei and Ju?

I will.

But haste brings no success.

I want to understand this matter first.

Let them cool down first.

Let them feel guilty.

Who could be so evil

to ruin you reputation like this?

What can they gain in return?

I wish to ask you the same question.

Are the girls from your pavilion

so easily deceived?

What do you mean, Master Yang?

They are bribed?

Do not worry, Young Master Yang.

We will definitely

cooperate with you to investigate this matter.

If it is true,

I will punish them severely.

Thank you.

But if you really want to cooperate,

it is better to let your girls

do what they do best.

Within three days,

just let my scandal become the talk of the town in the capital.

Young Master Yang, you really like to plan far ahead

to outsmart your opponent.
