"The Killing of Three Thousand Crows"

"Episode 7"

It's better if you don't know about it.

Tell...

Why?

Because...

you're my favourite little servant.

You're my servant.

You can't call me by my name.

You must address me as your lord.

You must treat me like how you've treated me in the past.

If you want to die like the Seahorse Spirit,

you can go out and tell other people your identity.

And you can tell them your motives in here.

Understood?

Thank you.

What?

I didn't hear you.

I said I...

am willing to be your slave...

to repay your kindness for saving me.

It's too late.

I don't want you to lick my boots.

I'm penniless.

I can only be your slave.

Drink the medicine while it's hot.

This Spirit Lantern is so powerful.

Lord Jiu Yun.

Master asked me to come.

-Thank you, Lord Jiu Yun! -Thank you, Lord Jiu Yun!

Jiu Yun, you're here?

How are you today?

Very good.

You must've trained behind my back.

It's fine.

It's just 1000-year-old evil spirit.

Do you think I can't handle its power?

I'm just giving you some advice.

You mustn't be hasty when you train.

Your spirit will be destroyed.

Fine.

I'll listen to you.

-Yours looks good. -Yeah. I want to look at yours.

-Here. -Zi Jin, Yi Xin.

-Lady Xuan Zhu. -Lady Xuan Zhu.

I'm here to deliver fresh Zihong Wine to Master.

This...

Master and Lord Jiu Yun are discussing official matters.

I'm afraid...

I'll wait in the side hall then.

The Zihong Wine is Master's favourite wine.

He instructed me to deliver the wine as soon as possible.

Lady Xuan Zhu, please.

-Look. -So nice.

This...

I didn't call you here because of this.

All the floras in Mount Xiangqu were planted under my permission.

Have you seen this grass before?

I didn't.

Although the Seahorse Spirit is dead,

I'm sure there are other spies in Mount Xiangqu.

This dandelion is infused with powerful sorcery.

I think they use it as a tool of communication.

Dragon King,

you sly old fox.

I knew you have something else up your sleeves.

Jiu Yun,

I asked you to be the leader of our defence...

because our fates...

are intertwined.

I totally believe in you.

But you must not fail me due to your carelessness.

You mustn't ruin our years of training.

Yes, I understand.

Catch the spies as soon as possible.

Who's out there?

Master.

I'm Xuan Zhu. I'm here to deliver the Zihong Wine to you.

Come in.

Yes.

Master, Lord Jiu Yun.

The wine tastes the best when it's freshly brewed.

I came here overnight just to deliver it to you.

I hope you will like it.

Of course I like it.

Put it down.

Yes.

Master, what a coincedence.

It seems like I'm lucky today.

Xuan Zhu, go and rest now.

I need to discuss something with Jiu Yun.

Bai, what are you doing?

I'm here to see if she's awake.

Does it have anything to do with you?

Jiu Yun,

why do I feel like you're lying to me?

Let me warn you.

You shouldn't take any risk in Mount Xiangqu.

In this realm,

if anyone dares to mess with the Master,

he or she will die.

Who is she?

Someone is coming.

Fu Jiu Yun!

Master Zuo.

I'm here.

Master Zuo, you came here alone?

Where's Lady Xuan Zhu?

Seems like you're here to duel me.

Master Zuo,

do you know my nickname?

You're the Slayer of Masters.

You know that I can kill sages, right?

You're just a blind mortal.

You shall not come and kill yourself.

Yeah.

You should know your place.

Go and spend your time with Xuan Zhu.

Know your own place, please.

Bai, you go back first.

Jiu Yun, are you really dueling him?

Don't do this. It's not befitting of your status.

Jiu Yun!

Since you want to die so badly,

I'll give you a push.

Don't hurt him.

Chuan, don't worry. I'm fine.

Don't hurt Master Zuo.

Master Zuo,

Lord Jiu Yun didn't hurt me.

I got hurt because I fell from the valley.

Is that true?

Yes. It's true.

Lord Jiu Yun even treated my wounds for me.

Am I right?

Yes.

If that's so,

Fu Jiu Yun,

I apologise to you.

It's okay. You were in the dark.

Go now.

I'll send you off.

No, thanks. I can leave by myself.

Master Zuo, take care.

Chuan, you look pretty today.

No wonder you're my wife.

Is that so?

I heard that Fu Jiu Yun loves to torture his servants.

I was worried that he'd beat you up, you know?

That's impossible.

Lord Jiu Yun is nice to me.

And he even said...

What did he say?

He said I'm his favourite little servant.

I heard that Zuo Zi Chen wants Fu Jiu Yun to hand you over.

Don't speak nonsense.

Wait, why are you laughing?

I think that blind guy is better than Fu Jiu Yun.

Wait.

You said you are Fu Jiu Yun's favourite servant.

Do you think he'll agree to this?

How do I know?

This is unexpected.

I always thought Master's disciples were arrogant.

I didn't expect them to build snowmen.

Although snowmen were built,

they don't have a face.

They're youngsters too.

They love to have fun.

Everyone says that Mount Xiangqu is a sacred mountain.

But they'll get bored too when they stay here for too long.

No wonder you're constantly teasing me.

Training the servants is a part of my job too.

My lord, I shall thank you then.

My lord, look.

Of all the snowmen,

the one holding the umbrella looks the best.

I wonder who made it?

You have good taste for a servant.

Why do you say that?

I made the snowman.

You made it?

I knew it.

I can see the difference in skills.

Even the snowman looks like a beauty since you're the one making it.

It's just that it has no features.

Is it because you don't have time?

The beauty is like a mirage.

Even now, she doesn't reveal her true face.

Maybe she wants to hide her identity.

That's why I made her faceless.

Don't just stand there.

Take a walk with me.

Come, I'll take you somewhere.

How is it? Are you stunned?

Even The Treasure Room in the royal palace can't compare with this.

My lord, I can't believe that you're this vulgar.

What is your relationship with the Master?

You can enter this place whenever you like.

What's wrong? Is it a secret?

He's afraid that I'll slay him.

My nickname as the Slayer of Masters,

it's not for fun.

Chuan, tell me what you like.

I'll give it to you.

Why?

Because you're my favourite little servant.

My lord, are you joking again?

I've always been serious about it.

I want to keep someone by my side.

And let her forget the burdens that she wasn't supposed to bear.

I want her to be happy...

and enjoy a simple life as an ordinary woman.

It's fine if she's still pretending to be ignorant.

But she seems to think that I'm always joking around.

My lord, I don't understand.

Take your time.

I make the call here.

This is so fragrant. I'll take a small piece then.

The Ambergris?

Yeah.

It's unbelievably fragrant.

It's much better than my osmanthus oil.

Thank you, my lord. You're so generous.

I thought you would take something that can cure blindness.

By the way,

I believe that guy is the real Dou Dou, right?

Your childhood friend.

My lord, what are you trying to say?

The Princess of Li,

how long are you going to hide that from me?

I was just waiting for that.

My princess,

the thing you've been looking for is not here.

-Where is it then? -Find it yourself.

I won't reveal your identity.

But let me remind you,

Master knows that there are other spies in the mountain.

But you know I'm not a spy.

And I'm not interested in these artifacts too.

But Master won't let anyone off if they try to take the Spirit Lantern.

Don't worry.

Before I find the Spirit Lantern,

I will protect myself.

Is the Spirit Lantern that important?

Fu Jiu Yun,

what does a princess look like in your heart?

Will a princess be a princess...

by just being beautiful and elegant?

I didn't know about that. Nobody told me anything.

After that,

Li was in ruins.

Tian Yuan revered the demons.

The people of Li...

will be offered as dishes every year.

Do you know what's a human dish?

It's a dish made from live humans.

And it's an offering to the demons.

It sounds ridiculous, right?

But that's the current situation in Li.

That's why I need the Spirit Lantern. I need to subdue the demons.

If you want to stop me,

you better kill me now.

Do you know what will happen if you light up the Spirit Lantern?

-I know. -You don't know anything.

Okay.

You took your stuff...

and your injuries are almost healed.

You can go to Zuo Zi Chen's place tomorrow.

Chuan, why are you here?

Aren't you supposed to be at Master Zuo's place?

This is for you.

What is this?

This is so fragrant.

It's my first time seeing this.

You can bring it with you every day.

You can be fragrant that way.

Chuan, this is the first gift that I've received from you.

I will bring it with me every day.

That way, your smell will be always with me.

I prepared for so long.

In the end, I only got the Ambergris.

I was the one who's being fooled all along.

Chuan, what did you say? Did someone bully you?

I'll beat him up!

No one bullied me.

I'll leave now.

Chuan, if Lord Jiu Yun doesn't want to send you off,

I'll send you off tomorrow.

Listen, don't ever mention him in front of me.

And,

you don't need to send me off. I'll leave by myself.

Who said Lord Jiu Yun is a nice person?

Come.

What are you doing?

Don't waste my time. Just come.

You don't need to say anything.

Since you were my servant,

I'll send you off.

What are you afraid of?

It's not poisonous.

Chuan,

are you drunk?

I'm not.

I think I'm drunk.

Let's go.
