[ Episode 22 ]

[Demon Tower]

This is the Demon Tower.

Since time immemorial, this is where evil monsters have been locked up.

It is also the most guarded place in the Six Realms.

You temporarily must stay here so the demons won't have the chance to take you.

I made a promise to you and must give the Heavenly Palace an explanation.

Wait for me here.

Are you afraid?

I am not afraid.

I am not an evil monster nor is there a demon in my heart.

I believe that you will not harm me.

Okay.

[Huodou]

It's been so many years.

Has anyone thought it through

and is willing to offer me their sense of hearing?

As long as I have recovered my five senses,

even if I get punished, I will give you a quick death. How about it?

I am willing! I am willing!

Huodou, hurry! Give me a quick death!

A quick death! A quick death!

Give me a quick death!

Changyou, what are those scoundrels saying?

My Lord, those scoundrels are saying that you are daydreaming.

What a joke! You can't even hear them cursing you.

They also said that you deserved not hearing any sound.[Changyou]

Even if by name, you are the guard of Demon Tower,

you are also being suppressed here like all of them.

Who? Who said that?

Changyou, you are distorting the truth!

If one day, you fall into our hands,

I will surely make you wish you were dead!

My Lord! My Lord! He, he, and he, they were all cursing you.

They said that if one day, you faill into their hands, they surely will make you wish you were dead.

My Lord, they are still cursing. Quickly go teach them a lesson.

Very good. Letting me wish I was dead?

I will let you all wish you were dead first!

My Lord, someone is coming!

Jiuchen is here. Jiuchen is here.

Jiuchen is here.

Jiuchen is here.

No need to fear.

I, Huodou, the guard of Demon Tower, greet God of War.

God of War, may I ask if this is a criminal immortal that is going to be locked up in here?

Just hand her to me.

My Lord, he glared at you earlier.

He must be looking down on you

and is even cursing you in his mind. I heard it.

Of course, I know that he looks down on me.

He is the God of War. So what if he curses me?

Can I not curse him back in my mind?

Senior Deity, I can trust you, right?

Right.

My dad has practiced medicine all his life and had saved so many.

However, his ending was like that.

They all say that I have demonic aura in me.

That I can wake the Demon Lord up.

But I have never hurt anyone.

I did not do anything wrong. You know that, right?

Right.

Senior Deity, I will wait for you here.

I will wait for you. I trust you.

Did you bring the longevity knot with you?

Keep it well. Never let it leave you.

I will wait for you.

Wait for me.

Within the barrier, the longevity knot can protect you.

Respectfully sending God of War off.

Immortal Lord of Universal Turn, what do you mean by this?

I was ordered to investigate

the deaths of immortals in Purple Cloud Platform.

I came this time to arrest Doctor Qingyao.

She is gravely injured. It is still not known if she can survive.

If you take her away now, is that not killing her?

I am duty bound. I do not have time to care too much.

- Arrest her.- Yes.

Fairy Yuli, do not obstruct us from doing our official job.

High God Yunfeng!

There are lot of doubts surrounding the case of those dead immortals.

For tens of thousands of years, Doctor Qingyao has practiced medicine and saved countless lives.

I do not believe that she is a killer.

I also do not believe it.

What do you want to happen then, High God?

Immortal Lord of Universal Turn, can you give me some time?

Just make a decision once the truth behind this matter has been found out.

For the meantime, Doctor Qingyao will be here recuperating.

I will be her guarantor.

I am also willing to be her guarantor.

Yun—

I thought you will still be unconscious for quite some time.

- Where is Ling Xi?- My Senior Brother has brought her back and she's currently locked inside Demon Tower.

Do not worry. My Senior Brother will find a way to save her.

That is good. Where is Chengyan?

Chengyan is gravely injured but he is alive.

Just be at ease. Fairy Yuli is currently taking care of him.

What about my Teacher?

Talk, where is my Teacher?

Your Teacher...

- Where are you going?- I'm going to look for my Teacher.

Qingyao, calm down!

What is your relation with Jiuchen?

I saw you two being very intimate.

But why did he cruelly lock you up in here?

My Lord! My Lord! She said—

She did not even move her mouth so how could she have talked?

I am deaf, not blind!

I am the guard of Demon Tower, yet I have to be chained like this.

You are just a measly criminal immortal. Why must you be an exemption?

Not talking? You think by not talking, I can do nothing to you?

Do you know what my special power is in here?

You...what are you doing?

Finally, you are willing to talk.

Changyou, what did she say?

She said you are seeking death. If you dare approach her any further, she will kill you.

I... when did I say I will kill him?

- What did she say now?- My Lord, she's mocking you as being incapable.

That you totally cannot do anything to her.

You are angering me!

What is that thing?

Do not look at me being like this now.

I also had glorious days.

God of Fire Zhurong was my sworn brother.

In the past, who did not bow or make way when they see me?

Let me tell you that time is eternal here.

Death is even an extravagant wish. Only I can release you from the suffering and make you enter paradise sooner.

If you know what is good with you, give me your sense of hearing and I will give you a quick death.

Once you have decided, tell me.

If you made the wrong decision, I have my means.

Senior Deity.

No need for more words. You might have successfully hindered the matters today,

but what about in the future? For tens of thousands of years,

how many times can you block it?

Ling Xi... will never escape death.

Heavenly Emperor.

Greetings, Senior Deity.

Siming.

You have read all the ancient texts. Among the erudites in the Heavenly Race, you are deemed as the most respected.

Let me ask you, how do you obtain the Farmer God's Cauldron?

Farmer God's Cauldron?

Farmer God's Cauldron was a treasure smelted by the ancient deity Farmer God.

For millions of years, it has always been inside the Demon Tower suppressing the monsters in there.

If you are to take the Farmer God's Cauldron, what about Demon Tower?

Hence, I wan to ask you if there are other items that can replace the Farmer God's Cauldron and repress the inside of the Demon Tower.

There is.

The ancient deities have boundless power and the magical items they created are also pretty mighty.

In my knowledge, the magical items Fuxi Bone, Chi You Blade,

and Nuwa Stone, both three are comparable to Farmer God's Cauldron.

But after so many years, Fuxi Bone and Chi You Blade have long been lost.

Even Nuwa Stone is...

Senior Deity, what are you planning to do? That Farmer God's Cauldron can dissolve anything in this world.

What are you going to use it for?

Is it to save Ling Xi?

You must not, Senior Deity! Have you forgotten your identity?

You are God of War, the guardian of the Six Realms.

Your safety concerns the surivaval of billions.

Senior Deity, you must not be rash.

Senior Deity! Although I am of low status,

I will not allow you to do this. You can disregard other people's safety, but you—

Senior Deity!

Beast! You are not allowed to be unruly in front of the gates of the Demon Tower!

Get lost!

You dare to act atrociously here? Get lost!

An evil beast!

Wuwan...

Senior Deity?

Senior Deity.

Go back first.

Have you thought about it? My patience is limited.

Hey, I am talking to you!

My Lord. My Lord quickly go in and teach her a lesson.

Let her know how good you are.

My Lord, that girl seems to be holding a treasure.

Jiuchen, you have already suppressed me in here,

yet you still go against me?

Senior Deity.

I heard that a beast has dashed into the Demon Tower, so I came here to check.

Inform all generals of the War Division of Heavenly Palace to gather in Fuyun Hall for a meeting.

Yes.

Are you not a member of the War Division of Heavenly Palace?

I will go there now.

You said before that since Ling Xi got locked up in Demon Tower,

Qingyao has been here concocting medicines and has never left.

Indeed.

I do not know medical theories.

Based from the medicinal dregs here, can you guess what medicine she was creating?

No need to look and I know that it is a strong kind of sedating drug.

How did you know?

I saw her storing the sedative into a bottle.

Not only that. I was her first victim.

I was indeed mad.

But I still do not believe that Qingyao will kill other immortals.

Of course, it wasn't her.

You know who's the killer?

Although the immortals did not see Qingyao killing anyone,

she rescued Ling Xi

and almost committed a huge mistake.

She still broke a Heavenly Law.

I fear that it will not be easy to spare her from any punishment.

How is Ling Xi?

Still inside the Demon Tower.

I just came from Chengyan. He is injured more gravely than you.

He still needs to recuperate some more.

I want to visit him.

Nurse your health first.

I promise that I will take you to see him.

Let me ask around and will update you if I found out anything.

Thanks.

Jiuchen. Jiuchen is here.

He is here.

It is Jiuchen's stinky smell again.

In my knowledge, the magical items Fuxi Bone, Chi You Blade,

and Nuwa Stone, both three are comparable to Farmer God's Cauldron.

Shisan.

High God Yunfeng.

Where is your Senior Deity?

I do not know.

Not inside Fuyun Hall?

No. Senior Deity is not around but a bunch of people came.

Senior Deity asked that all generals of the War Division to come here for a meeting.

They are here for four hours already, but Senior Deity has not appeared.

High God, wait.

High God, how is Ling Xi?

Is there really no way to save her?

I also do not know.

Ling Xi is such a good person. It is not her fault for having demonic aura in her.

Why must she die?

High God! High God!

In the battle between gods and demons,

this child's parents both died for the Heavenly Race.

Now, this childs vital channels and heart have all ben destroyed.

I fear that he won't survive.

All his clansmen have died to eliminate the demons.

This child is the only bloodline of that clan.

Give him another heart.

My Lord! My Lord! The Farmer God's Cauldron seem to be losing its effect.

If it does and all the monsters here regain their magic, won't we be dead?

Jiuchen, why did you come here?

Is it to come down here and accompany me?

You want to take the Farmer God's Cauldron?

Are you really taking the Farmer God's Cauldron away?

We all will then be free.

Jiuchen, quickly. Take the Farmer God's Cauldron away.

Dream on. I will never betray the Heavenly Race!

Without the Farmer God's Cauldron, you think that your measly Demon Tower

can trap me?

Wishful thinking.

I, Zhuyin, will see the light of day soon.

Senior Deity is still around...

My Lord. My Lord.

Lord Zhuyin said, "Do you not want to see Zhurong again?"

If you still do not make a move, it will be too late.

How come the reaction is gone?

Senior Deity... has he left?

God of War.

Leave! Leave!

Thank you for sparing my life.

Even without the Farmer God's Cauldron,

the Nuwa Stone can replace it to suppress this place.

But Farmer God's Cauldron cannot replace the Nuwa Stone to be your heart.

The more it cannot help you survive.

Even if I am being suppressed here, I still can continue living.

But you... will surely die.

Ling Xi.

Senior Deity.

Senior Deity.

You are cowardly. Staying here with the other monsters

might be very frightening for you.

No, I am not afraid.

I am not afraid at all.

Senior Deity, what's wrong?

Why are you so cold?

Did you... get hurt?

I... earlier...

I am fine.

I will be alright after I adjust my breathing.

You have to stay here and wait for me for a while more.

I will wait.

Remember, no matter what happens,

you must believe me.

I believe you.

- I am going now.- Senior Deity.

You must take good care of your health.

Senior Deity. Remember to take your medicines on time.

Do not allow your cold disease to relapse.

Shisan... is very careless.

You must remember to remind her to light the eternal wood.

I will wait for you.

Huodou, you are so stupid.

Why did you not kill him?

Changyou, what did he say?

He is calling you stupid.

Stupid?

Just let him curse then. I can't hear him anyway.

God of War.

God of War, may I boldly ask why there were suspicious movements inside the Demon Tower?

Chuyin attempted to escape from his seal. He has already been suppressed by me.

No need to fear. Lock the door.

Yes!

Senior, how are you?

Why is your life source dissipating?

Let's talk when we get back.

Why is Senior Deity that weak?

Is his cold disease acting up again?

Because he is dying.

Senoir Deity is a top level proper deity. The highest among the high gods.

How could he die so suddenly?

The vital essence in his body is slowly dissipating and being lost.

That is enough to kill him.

You do not know, right?

He vomited blood behind your back.

Those blood are the vital blood of his heart.

I do not believe you.

In attempting to move the Farmer God's Cauldron, he has no choice but to dig out

the Nuwa Stone, which he has been relying on to survive, and use it as the eye of the formation.

Only by that way can he continue to suppress Chuyin.

Without that stone heart, in a few days,

his life essence will be depleted and he'll die.

You're lying!

Little girl, you like him a lot.

How about it? Do you want to save him?

In this world, other than the Nuwa Stone, there's one more item that can save him.

This item is in my hand.

This is the fire essence. The Thousand Fire Primordial Energy that God of War Zhurong had carried with him since he was a fetus.

With this, not only can it replace the Nuwa Stone in providing him life,

it can also completely cure his cold disease.

This is a rare treasure in the Six Realms.

I only want your sense of hearing.

Will you exchange it or not?

Your fire essence

can really cure Senior Deity?

What?

I will.

Do not regret it.

Once we start, you cannot hear any sound once again.

Your world will soon become very quiet.

As long as Senior Deity can be cured,

I am willing to do anything.

In this world, other than Demon Lord, who else can hurt you like this?

Senior Brother.

It is already at this time. You still refuse to tell me.

How come you have no pulse?

How come you have no heartbeat?

Why? Where is your heart?

Where is your Nuwa Stone Heart?

Where did you put it?

Senior Deity.

Must you force me to call Senior Deity over

before you will talk?

Senior Brother...

Farmer God's Cauldron...
