♫ If the world did not have you, if answers had no questions, ♫

♫ If there were eyes, but no scenery? ♫

♫ If fate had really and truly not arranged and planned for us to meet, ♫

♫ Then perhaps our palms' lines of divination would not permit our roads to meet. ♫

♫ A heartfelt gathering of just the two of us, in a vast sky full of stars ♫

♫ A love no mortal can comprehend, a mystery known only to heaven ♫

♫ Always beneath the surface, clearly fated emotions are in orbit ♫

♫ The Big Dipper has turned and the stars have moved because of you. ♫ (T/N idiom - time flies)

♫ This fate is calculated then to the ultimate degree. ♫

♫ This love is destined to be. ♫

♫ Every strength and weakness, all cast aside, all pressed down firmly are yours. ♫

[ Episode 9 ]

Three....two...one..!

Whale-Devouring Great Technique.

What's going on?

This Whale-Devouring Great Technique,

this position, this hand movement,

all are right.

That Huayin must have not told me everything.

I should be eating these pancakes, right?

Right, I must eat them.

What is wrong with you?

Did Heavenly Emperor discontinue the food supply of Fuyun Hall?

Look at how hungry she is!

Brother Shishan.

Fairy Shisan is indeed extraordinary.

Even when eating, you are different from usual girls.

Heroism reaching the clouds. I am impressed.

Did you find out anything?

Senior Brother, the demonic aura at Dark Capital Mountain is too heavy. I could not get in.

I could only ask around. I heard that on that day, the tribesmen of Lieyi made a blood oath,

turned into vengeful souls, escaped from Spirit-Binding Abyss,

and saved Zhonghao who was at the brink of death at that moment.

They all entered Dark Capital Mountain together.

Zhonghao is also at Dark Capital Mountain?

Yes. I heard from Siming that your soul separated from your body

and entered Dark Capital Mountain. Did you see Zhonghao?

I only saw the Demon Lord.

The Demon Lord is awake?

But he's currently locked inside the seal,

and his power is still incomplete.

Based on his current strength, he won't be able to break out of the seal.

Incomplete power?

His primordial spiritual energy is not inside his body.

Not in his body? Where is it then?

We still need to investigate.

Could it be in—

I could not sense any demonic aura in her.

Le Bo is currently the best Immortal Doctor.

Maybe he has a way to seal the demonic aura

and not let you sense it?

Maybe.

I will pay attention to it.

Senior Deity, High God Yunfeng, are you talking about Ling Xi?

It is good that you got it, but do not tell anyone. We are just suspecting.

No wonder.

No wonder when she appeared in the Immortal Sea, Senior Deity was able to be revived.

I even thought--

Fairy Ling Xi is so fair like snow and jade, so adorable, smart, kind,

energetic, clever, natural, and unrestrained. How could she be connected with the Demon Lord?

It must be a misunderstanding. It must be a misunderstanding!

What is going on? Has God of Heavenly Thunder attacked us?

Exactly that person you mentioned who is so fair like snow and jade, so adorable, smart, kind,

energetic, clever, natural, and unrestrained.

Ling Xi! Ling Xi!

Ling Xi.

I succeeded.

I succeeded! I succeeded!

This...is the medicine you created?

How come I feel it's more like a stealth weapon?

Give it back to me. What do you know?

Ling Xi, what medicine did you create?

Can it extends one's life or improve one's cultivation?

Or some antidote and poison-removing pill?

It must be your first time to successfully refine a medicine, am I right?

Yes.

But no matter what medicine you created, you must not take it in rashly.

If the method of smelting or the fire intensity was wrong,

it could turn into a poison pill. That is not something you should be kidding around with.

Shisan, you mentioned last time that there's a Full Moon Spring in High Clear Sky that's extremely cold water?

- Is it real? - Of course.

A few years ago, an immortal child lost his balance and fell into the Full Moon Spring.

In less than a minute, he almost lost his life.

His symptoms are very similar to our Senior Deity's cold disease.

Afterward, although that immortal child was able to be saved,

he was still sickly.

Heavenly Emperor then sent him to watch over the Zhuri Bird.

It is hoped that with the help of fire power of the Zhuri Bird, the cold air within him can dissipate.

Say, why don't we raise some Zhuri Birds in our garden too?

Maybe they can also help dissipate the cold illness within Senior Deity?

♫ I float adrift on the current in the midst of where the water and sky merge in one color in the Milky Way, ♫

♫ Depending on the moonlight to sweep away rising layers upon layers of cause and effect ♫

♫ In the midst of my dream, you quietly raise me up through the seams ♫

♫ Pulling me, pulling me ♫

So cold.

If I fall in, I surely will freeze to death.

Don't care anymore. I have to test it.

♫ Falling down as two flowers into a pool, both anxious when together and when separated ♫

♫ You see me off in the moonlight and retreat, and it's beyond me to account for this ♫

♫ Deep as the down-pouring rain, yet prudently becoming a flick ♫

♫ of ocean spray ♫

♫ Unwilling to remain silent, because a critical event may part the bond ♫

♫ Pouring my heart's intention like surging water over a blazing fire ♫

♫ Acting as clear water to wash your whole life's agony away. ♫

Senior Deity. Shisan said

that when the immortal child in Wanling Park fell into this pond for just a moment, he almost died.

What did you say?

Senior Deity, my medicine is a success.

Look, I didn't die when I jumped in!

From now on, we do not need to go to the cave of Lord of Heavenly Medicine to get medicines.

I can create one for you.

You came here in the middle of the night to test the medicine?

I was able to create it just after the seventh smelting!

Tell me, don't I have the talent to refine medicines?

It is cold here. Get up.

Right. You cannot freeze. Quickly leave.

Take good care of yourself first.

Senior Deity! Please...wait for me.

[ Full Moon Spring ]

What? You are saying that the huge pill you created is for Senior Deity?

Yes. I tested it last night.

After eating my medicine, I swam twice around Full Moon Spring.

I was totally fine.

Senior Deity also saw it.

He even personally told me that I am gifted in refining medicines!

Ling Xi, does it mean then that we do not need to endure those people in the cave of Lord of Heavenly Medicine again?

Of course. Not only medicines for Senior Deity.

From now on, whatever you need, like for extending life,

for increasing cultivation, for curing poisons or illness, I can make them all for you.

Really? That is great, Ling Xi!

Ling Xi, are you sure that Senior Deity said that you have the talent to refine medicines,

and not just the talent to endure freezing temperatures?

What do you mean?

I just feel that your huge pill

is too different from Senior Deity's mythical drug.

How is it different?

I have a book as proof. I refined it exactly according to what's written here.

- Look. - High God Yunfeng.

Right?

- High God Yunfeng. - High God Yunfeng.

What are you all looking at?

This is Ling Xi's medicinal book.

[ Yanxin Flower ]

What is this?

This is Yanxin Flower. It is the most important ingredient in creating the Cold Dispelling Pellet.

What a pity this flower is very hard to obtain, its traces are very hard to find.

It only blossoms once every sixty years. You have to pick it immediately after blossoming.

You must process it using a special method within half a day, or else it will lose its effect.

I did not have enough time.

I could only use the tail feather of the Zhuri Bird as a substitute.

The effect is much less than with the Yanxin Flower.

High God! High God, aren't you here to see our Senior Deity?

Why are you just leaving like this?

High God Yunfeng, you are here again.

Where is Doctor Qingyao?

The Doctor is still refining medicines.

She locked herself in again.

High God! High God! When doctors are refining medicines,

outsiders cannot disturb them.

If you still stop me, do you believe I will eat you?

High God, please do not put me in a difficult spot.

You little...

High God! High God!

You finally are willing to come out!

You need something from me?

I happen to pass by here, and wanted to ask if that day, you were...

That day, were you...

You came just in time. I happen to have refined a new Cold Dispelling Pill for the God of War.

Take it to him.

You picked that herb just to make this medicine for my Senior...

Thanks!

Senior Deity.

The Cold Dispelling Pellet that Senior Sister refined has been delivered.

Please take the medicine, Senior Deity.

Where is the medicine you created?

Since you have proven that the effectivity is similar, do not waste it.

With the immortal pill refined by my sister,

you are still willing to take the medicine I made?

They are the same.

Senior Deity, wait for a while then. I will go get it now!

What is this?

This is the immortal pellet I refined.

Immortal pellet?

How come it is this big?

This is my first time refining medicines.

I still cannot do it like my senior sister, refining it smoothly, congealing it in the way she wanted.

But Senior Deity, do not worry. Although the effectiveness of the medicine I created

is inferior to that of Senior Sister, it is not that different.

Just be at ease to take it.

Senior Deity, since you believe me, let us not waste it.

They are the same!

If you feel that it is inconvenient to take it,

I especially prepared a knife and chopsticks for you.

You can cut it into pieces, and then take your time ingesting them.

I will take my leave now.

Xiaobai, you cannot eat that.

You cannot eat it. You cannot eat it.

It is still you who has good eyesight. You know that this thing of mine is good!

Let me think about it more then.

I will refine an immortal pellet for you, which I guarantee will turn you into a mythical beast. Okay?

Xiaobai!

Xiaobai!

Xiaobai!

Xiaobai!

Weird. Where did it go?

Xiaobai!

Xiaobai! Xiaobai! Why are you sleeping here?

Xiaobai. [ Immortal Cleansing Pond ]

This is the Immortal Cleansing Pond.

I heard from Shisan

that immortals who commit mistakes are thrown in here.

Their immortal skeletons are cleansed away, and they are then sent back to the mundane world.

You came from the lower realm to begin with.

Now, go back through here then.

Xiaobai.

From now on, no matter if it's being human

or being a little dog,

you must be smarter.

There are good and bad people, immortals are the same.

There are those who will sacrifice themselves for others.

But there are also vicious ones who bully the weak but are afraid of power, only thinking of their own self-interest.

You're too naive.

Followed me for this long, but still couldn't decipher right from wrong,

you just got tricked like that.

Xiao Bai.

Go.

Xiao Bai?

You're looking for Xiao Bai?

I haven't seen him in quite a few days.

Me neither. He probably went to play somewhere,

or he's in Lingxi's room?

Lingxi? She also hasn't stepped outside of her room for a few days.

She is refining medicinal pellets.

But isn't this time a bit too quiet?

Forget it. Let's find Xiao Bai first.

Xiao Bai?

- Xiao Bai? Xiao Bai? - Xiao Bai?

Princess, why did you come back again?

Are you also here to capture me?

I'm here to help you.

Help me take care of my child. She is beside the mountain up ahead.

I have set up an enchanted barrier to protect her.

I'm begging you. Your protecting her is saving me.

I'll go save her.

Mohuan!

Mohuan.

Hold on. Hold on. Hold on!

Ling'er, I'm fine.

Mohuan. Mohuan. Mohuan!

Mohuan! Mohuan!

Ling'er, I'm sorry.

I cannot accompany you any longer.

Don't say... don't say these things.

Promise me.

Promise me.

Live well.

Take care of...

our child.

The child cannot lose her father. She cannot lose her father!

Mohuan. Mohuan! Mohuan!

Mohuan.

Child!

[ Grandmother Shi ]

State Master, you had a nightmare again.

Forgive me for being nosy.

Since you are already suspecting,

why not ask State Preceptor to prove it?

He deliberately deceived me that time.

Would he tell me the truth now?

For so many years,

do I still not understand his actions and methods?

Then, that Immortal Knot, could you have seen it wrong?

Impossible. I personally made that.

I could never be wrong.

But since

that Immortal Knot is in his hands,

then maybe...

maybe my child is still alive?

I must find her.

State Master, the Four Seas are very vast.

Fifty thousand years have passed.

From whence should we start?

Mother!

- Mother. - Qing'er.

Princess.

I cooked you some soup.

Look at you, be careful of scalding of yourself.

I won't.

I heard that you have not been eating well lately, so I especially cooked you a light soup.

Mother, quickly check if it fits your taste.

You have grown up.

You know to care for me now.

Mother, quickly drink it.

Okay.

State Master, it is time to take your medicine, so do not eat anything first.

Let us let this cool down first. I will eat it later.

Call them to serve the medicine.

Yes.

Lan'er! Lan'er!

Where did Lan'er go?

I have not seen Sister Lan'er for several days.

I have searched everywhere, but could not find her.

Lan'er has always been prudent in doing her tasks. How could she run around? Continue searching.

Yes.

- Grandmother Shi. - Mother--

Your complexion does not look well lately. Do you want me to call the witch doctor to check you?

I am fine.

I am happy that you came to visit me.

I have not seen Xiaobai for several days.

Ling Xi. Did Xiaobai stay in your room the past few days?

Where could it have gone to?

Are you entirely not worried?

Worried about what?

If he went out to play, he will surely come back once he starves.

Right now, ungrateful ones who are avoiding our palace are not just dogs.

There are more people.

Just that...High Immortal Yuantong.

When Senior Deity had just returned, she was very diligent in coming here.

But after Senior Deity got confined, we have not even see her shadow!

Talking about that, I am also disappointed at her.

When I went out to handle some affairs yesterday,

I even saw her with Ziguang and Fangsheng, all standing alongside God of Heavenly Thunder.

Blindly following suit, as if they are very close.

Snobbish people!

Next time, when people like that come to our hall, just directly release the dog to bite her.

Where is the dog?

Xiaobai has not come back.

Ling Xi, say something.

Say what?

Anything would be fine.

In this huge courtyard, only we three are left.

But you have instead turned into a silent gourd.

Siming!

May I ask why you are all here?

Are you here to see Senior Deity?

What good thing can there be with them coming here?

Fairy, can you please relay a message for us?

We have important matters to see Senior Deity about.

- Senior Deity. - Senior Deity.

High God.

Immortal Lord of Universal Turn. (T/N Puhua Xianjun)

High God. We both came here to inform you

that at si hour (9-11 am) three days from now, please go to the Purple Cloud Platform to receive your public trial. [ Puhua ]

At that time, the Heavenly Emperor and the different Supreme Lords of High Clear Sky will attend as well.

Hope you will not be late.

Public trial? On what basis must our Senior Deity be put on public trial?

High God destroyed the war report without permission.

Tens of thousands of immortals in Heavenly Palace have submitted memorials requesting a re-trial of the Dark Capital Mountain case.

Just based on that, can we not try him?

High God, the Heavenly Race is the ruler of the Six Realms.

Without law, we cannot maintain order. I am in charge of the punishments here in the Heavenly Palace.

This is my duty. Hope you understand.

I understand.

You ungrateful one!

See if I do not break your legs! How could you be with them?

Painful! Painful! Lighter!

I was in the main hall reporting things to Heavenly Emperor,

then Immortal Lord of Universal Turn came.

Heavenly Emperor told me to accompany them here. What can I do?

Senior Deity, one more thing. God of Heavenly Thunder suggested to Heavenly Emperor

to welcome the remnant treasures of Yuanzheng into Merit Hall, also happening three days from now.

Heavenly Emperor agreed to it.

At the same time, he requested that you remove your Dragon Tooth Armor from the Merit Hall.

What? Is he crazy?

Heavenly Emperor surely would not agree.

Heavenly Emperor...agreed.

What! That old muddled Heavenly Emperor, I think he really has—

But Heavenly Emperor said that he would give the final decision after the public trial.

Decision? Bullshit!

You should be quiet.

At si hour (9-11 am) three days from now, please go to the Purple Cloud Platform to receive your public trial.

At the same time, the remnant treasures of Yuanzheng will be welcomed into Merit Hall.

At the same time, you are requested to remove your Dragon Tooth Armor from the Merit Hall.

State Preceptor, State Master has left the palace.

Kunlun Mountain?

It does not seem so.

State Master had her guards leave them, and only brought Grandmother Shi with her.

Where could she go?

I do not know, but...

But what?

I was afraid that State Master might encounter danger

so I have placed the "Thousand Li Fragrance" on Grandmother Shi.

If you think it is needed, I can follow them.

No need.

[ South Pole Immortal Continent ]

State Master, five hundred years ago, I promised you

that I will make this prediction for you.

I have expected this day to come.

I have disturbed your quiet cultivation.

You are still asking about a person?

Right. About a person.

[ Old Man of the South Pole ]

Your child is from a spiritual clan.

Hence, her lifespan is long.

This prediction will waste a lot of effort. With my current strength,

I can only do it

once every sixty years.

Hence, I cannot be disturbed midway.

Jinyuan.

You are in charge of defending me.

Yes.

[ Jinyuan ]

State Master.

Old Man, is my child

alive or dead?

Alive.

State Master's daughter is alive?

It...is you?

What a coincidence.

- It's me. - I know.

Who dares to trespass into the South Pole Immortal Continent?

Help me.

This South Pole Immortal Continent is so huge.

Where do I find the Water Moon Cauldron?

Where am I?
