[Ice Fantasy]

As King of Ice

I hereby crown Li Luo as Queen Li Jing.

Once we have Princess Lan Shang

we will be able to control Infinity Ocean.

It will lead us straight to the Ice Tribe.

Father, what do you want Ying Kong Shi to do?

I want him to kill Ka Suo.

I knew that you'd protect me.

Your Majesty, thank you for your kindness.

Since the King of Fire is here about my marriage

I'll make it into a competition to get my hand in marriage.

I'll marry whoever wins this competition.

If Xing Jiu is defeated

who will you send forth?

Will you be the one, Ka Suo?

Yes.

I will compete.

[Episode 58]

Is it for the sake of the alliance or Princess Lan Shang?

To me, there's no difference between them.

But it matters for Princess Lan Shang!

Can't you tell that she likes you?

You already knew that she likes you.

Yet you still chose to save her.

Do you really wish to marry her?

I won't marry Princess Lan Shang.

You're my one and only love.

If I ask that you withdraw from the competition

will you be willing to do so for my sake?

I can tell from your expression that you wouldn't do so.

I have been too hard on you.

Li Luo.

My love for you has remained unwavering.

All right. In order to ensure that we can win the match

so you won't have to compete

I won't just sit on the sidelines.

They are competing with magical powers for Lan Shang's hand in marriage?

It seems that Ka Suo isn't such a fool.

Father would like to know what you intend to do next.

What would he like me to do?

He didn't state it clearly.

But I'm quite certain that he wants you to kill Ka Suo.

Tell him that I won't let him down.

Who upset you again?

I'm fine.

Have you been spellbound by the Truthless Tribe?

You're telling lies now?

Since you can tell that I'm upset

why don't you guess at the reason?

Why should I?

It's up to you to tell me or not.

By the way, are you cured of that poison already?

In a way.

Who poisoned you?

Didn't Phoenix already tell you?

The Ice Tribe did it.

I've never believed a word that he said.

Do you believe me?

What difference will it make if I believe you?

You're right.

I'm indeed in no position to help you.

Just believe yourself.

However, I have to remind you

not to do anything that you might regret

even if there's just a hint of hesitation in you.

Your Grace.

My Queen.

Why have you asked to see me?

It's about the competition.

I'd like to ask you for a favor.

You don't want Ka Suo to compete?

I do hope that His Majesty won't compete in it

so I hope to ask you for a favor.

What would you like me to do?

I'd like to invite the Sirens to compete.

Why would you know about the Sirens?

Shouldn't I know about it?

Apart from me, Lan Shang, and the elders

no one else in The Mermaids knows about the Sirens.

The Sirens are our tribe's mysterious assassins.

Even during the Battle of Ice and Fire

I didn't send them out to war.

How would you know about them?

I don't know either.

I thought that you were the one who told me about it.

Before you came out of your coma

we had met only a few times.

I couldn't possibly have told you about it.

I do sincerely apologize to Your Grace if I have offended you.

However, please send forth the Sirens to compete.

It will also be in Princess Lan Shang's favor if we win the competition.

I believe that Your Grace won't object to it.

Your Majesty, are you really not going to the venue?

I'm worried that Flame might have planted an ambush.

You can head over there while I set up a perimeter.

I think that...

Have you caught a cold?

Why don't I give you an acupuncture treatment later?

Your Majesty, we will head over there first.

- What's the hurry? - Get going.

Slow down.

What were you trying to tell me?

King of Fire!

Let me get this straight.

If I were to win this competition, Infinity Ocean would be mine.

I won't hand it over to you.

I don't plan to fight with you over Infinity Ocean.

Really?

You really don't intend to send out the princes of Fire Tribe?

Even sending forth Princess Yan Da might be just as good.

Shut up.

If you keep saying such nonsense, I will have you killed.

Keep this in mind.

You are still at my mercy.

Let's go!

You're angry?

Father, you do favor Phoenix.

You allow him to not only compete for Lan Shang

but also threaten your daughter's life.

If you have been obedient

why would I make him keep an eye on you?

Father, Ying Kong Shi has already met Ka Suo.

He will find out about your lies eventually.

If he joins forces with his brother

we are no match for them!

That's why I have to destroy the Ice Tribe

and conquer the three realms before he regains his memory.

This is too risky.

The more dangerous it is

the more there is to gain from it.

Do you know why I didn't allow any of you to compete?

Could it be that Father is up to something?

There are actually so many participants?

You're the most beautiful princess in the immortal realm.

I even think that there should be more vying for your hand.

Is Phoenix the only contestant representing the Fire Tribe?

Today, we are holding a match of magical powers.

I, Mermaid Saint, and Princess Lan Shang will be the judges.

Old King of Ice!

There are so many contestants. How long will this take?

Are you just trying to stall for time?

After the first round, you may leave the venue.

I'm looking forward to that.

The first round, match of magical powers. Draw lots!

How is this even considered a round in the match?

Give it a go and you will know soon enough.

You wish to marry Princess Lan Shang?

Get hold of the lots first!

Those who can't get one are as good as disqualified!

Lord Xing Jiu gets one!

Lord Xing Jiu goes to the next round!

Don't bother wasting your energy!

Your true opponent is me!

Round one, match of magical powers. Xing Jiu versus Phoenix.

That's enough!

Don't hurt him!

I haven't heard of ending a match without making physical attacks.

I hereby announce Phoenix as the husband of Lan Shang.

Defense is the most foolish of all combat strategies.

I planted Dream Lure on you when we first came in contact.

I announce Xing Jiu as the winner of this round!

Hold it!

- Take him away. - Yes!

I have another recommended candidate.

The first round has ended.

You're violating the rules of the match by recommending another candidate now.

If he's able to defeat Xing Jiu, it means that he could defeat Phoenix

and combat The Mermaid's magical powers.

I don't see how that is an issue.

Or should I say that you never intended

to hold a fair competition in the first place?

This is but a show to stop me from taking Princess Lan Shang away?

If that is so...

I can take Princess Lan Shang away directly.

I dare you!

If we don't continue with the competition

Flame will have an excuse to launch war upon us now!

Your Grace.

It seems that we can only let Xing Jiu continue with the match.

King of Fire!

Whom are you going to send forth?

Myself.

King of Fire, after you.

There's one weakness in the dream that you created.

In order to prevent the dreamer from finding out about the dream

the dream itself is simply too perfect.

Dreams are meant to bring people hope and expectations.

They are to bring salvation.

They are never meant to be weapons that hurt others.

That is exactly why your dream weaving magical powers

will never be a match for my Desperadom!

Where are they?

What has Flame done?

He's taken Lord Xing Jiu into Desperadom.

Are you really going there?

Why shouldn't I?

I heard that you once lost your immortal powers there.

If you go into Desperadom again, won't you be frightened?

Since they were once lost

there's no reason to fear losing them again.

Xing Gui?

My dearest brother.

No.

This isn't real.

It isn't real.

Xing Gui is already dead.

This is created by Flame's magical powers. It's fake.

She no longer exists.

That's right.

I am already dead.

You were the one who forced me to my death.

Flame hasn't let Xing Jiu out yet?

Not yet.

What about my father and Mermaid Saint?

They took our men with them to search for Xing Jiu.

But we still haven't heard from them.

Only Ying Kong Shi managed to rescue His Majesty from Desperadom once.

None of us know how to break into Desperadom.

If Ka Suo is here, it means that Father has already made an appearance.

Do you think that Yan Da would know?

You want to capture me?

It isn't that simple.

We're not going to pose any threat to your life.

We just hope that Xing Jiu won't be harmed by the King of Fire.

Please tell us how to get inside Desperadom.

Desperadom is created by my father's highest magical powers.

I don't know much about it either.

Really?

Believe what you like.

I'm not the one who is going to save Xing Jiu anyway.

If only Ying Kong Shi were here.

Ka Suo.

I've been safeguarding this ring for you.

I had planned to give it back to you

when you leave the immortal realm with Li Luo.

However, it now seems that I can no longer bring you any freedom.

Or safety.

I can only give you the power to fend off your future destiny.

Yes. If only Shi were here...

Ka Suo, you know that Shi can never return home.

I do know that.

But Shi is right here.

Your Majesty.

What are you going to do?

Shi once asked Xing Gui to seal his dream in this ring.

I believe that he must have left his immortal powers in this ring.

If I can draw out that fraction of power

I will be able to find the way into Desperadom.

Even if residue of his immortal powers is left in it, it will be very weak.

This is what Shi left me.

It must carry his most unforgettable memory.

I believe that it will never truly vanish.

Xing Jiu.

You said that Ka Suo is the king you respect the most.

You even gave up on me because of him.

Therefore you have always resented me, right?

No, I never did.

Liar!

If you didn't resent me

why would you force me into taking my own life?

Why didn't you save me?

I'll give you a chance to reconcile with me.

If you admit that you hate me

I will let you down.

Otherwise...

I don't hate you.

I killed Liao Jian.

I killed Pian Feng.

You must be so ashamed of me.

Aren't you relieved that I'm dead? Aren't you?

You still won't hate me even if I kill you?

No.

I'll keep you company.

If I am given an option

I wish to be killed by you.

But you were long dead.

Flame!

Your Desperadom can indeed bring great pain and harm.

However, death is the best way to free myself from pain!

Fine.

I will bestow such grace upon you.

Your Majesty!

I'm going to keep Xing Gui company.

Why would I leave my memory to him?

Is that why I have forgotten about the past?

That is it.

That's Desperadom.

Xing Jiu!

Xing Gui...

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

You lost.

No...

Not yet.

I can still carry on with the match.

Xing Jiu.

You have already done your best.

Leave the rest to me.

- Xing Jiu! - Xing Jiu!

Is it you?

Are you going to be my next opponent, Ka Suo?

Flame!

We will put an end to this today.

I thought that you were affectionate and loyal toward Li Luo.

Who knew that you're just like your father?

You can sacrifice the love and trust of the ones you love for victory.

Or should I say that you have always been fond of Princess Lan Shang?

You're actually using this chance to marry her with a just cause?

If you keep using Lan Shang as an excuse

I'll be sure that I strike next right on your head.

Before the match, Ka Suo told me you volunteered to go to the Fire Tribe.

Although sacrificing yourself is the last resort

a ruler of a tribe must put the safety of her tribesmen above all else.

You were willing to step up and assume the responsibility.

It means that you're qualified to inherit the position of Mermaid Saint.

You agreed to go along with His Majesty's plan

to use your own marriage as bait and fend off the King of Fire.

As much as I worry for your safety

I'm also very proud of you.

Stop it!

Stop right now!

I'm the judge of this match.

Only I can decide who the winner is.

In the match between the King of Fire and Lord Xing Jiu

Lord Xing Jiu was defeated.

The King of Ice already has his queen.

I'm unwilling to condescend to sharing my husband with a mortal.

The King of Ice isn't qualified for the match.

He is not to take part in it.

Princess Lan Shang, you witnessed it as well.

I'm the winner of this match.

Since no other contestant can defeat the King of Fire

I shall go to the Fire Tribe with you tonight.

Lan Shang! You mustn't!

Your Majesty, thank you.

But I've made up my mind.

Please don't sacrifice more innocent lives for my sake.

You've sacrificed your own happiness

to marry an evil and despicable immortal like Flame.

How are you not another innocent life as well?

Princess Lan Shang is trying to protect your happiness.

What queen am I if I were to stand on the sidelines

when the Ice Tribe is in trouble?

Li Luo!

Li Luo!

I'm sorry.

I shouldn't have stopped you from taking part in the match.

It's fine. Let me take a look at your wound.

Princess Lan Shang.

Let's leave now.

You're not to leave!

Hold it!

The match hasn't ended yet.

What do you mean by that?

Princess Lan Shang just said that

she will go with you to the Fire Tribe if no one can defeat you.

I thought that I might give it a try.

What on earth are you doing?

The third round!

King of Fire versus Li Tian Jin!

Your Majesty, have you seen what Li Tian Jin's magical powers are like?

No.

I think that I will soon.

King of Fire.

After you.

How did that happen?

Flame injured Li Luo.

According to the laws of the three realms

he will lose his immortal powers for a short period of time.

It seems that the King of Fire won't be able to wield magical powers.

How about this?

We won't use our magical powers.

Let's just fight as mortals do.

What on earth are you trying to do?

I can kill Ka Suo tonight.

If you wish to see his corpse tomorrow

you have to lose to me now.

Father!

The King of Fire has fallen off the battle ground.

Li Tian Jin wins!

Lan Shang!

Father.

Leave her to me.

Let's leave.

King of Fire!

What is Li Tian Jin up to?

My men told me that you defeated Xing Jiu

and took Princess Lan Shang away.

Why has he suddenly shown up?

Taking the life of Ka Suo is more of an advantage to me

than marrying Princess Lan Shang.

Is he really going to kill Ka Suo?

He defeated me in the match to win his trust.

That will give him a chance to get close to Ka Suo.

He will be able to kill him tonight.

This is great!

Let's head back to the Fire Tribe.

Get another needle.

It's not the needle!

We have to get her out of her frozen state first.

Let me do it.

Luna.

He was the one who cured Lan Shang of her Frozen Syndrome.

It's working!

Why is it that only your magical powers have an effect on her

but not the other healers'?

Which tribe are you from?

I'm a lone immortal.

I grew up without my parents.

Which tribe am I from? I don't know either.

Forget it.

He's saved Lan Shang twice and defeated Flame.

He shouldn't be dangerous.
