We need King and Queen of Ice to give us their blessings.

Li Luo...

Would you sacrifice everything for Ka Suo, even your life?

I would.

My son, do you love Li Luo?

Even if she is cursed

and she loses her rationality completely one day?

I will.

Who exactly are you?

I'm the only immortal who is of the same tribe as you are.

Li Luo!

[Episode 37]

This won't do.

The wound made by The Deicide carries dark magic.

None of my medications can cure it!

I was also stabbed by The Deicide once.

Didn't you manage to heal me?

Your Highness, you're an immortal, but she's a mortal!

Not to mention that you were The Deicide's sheath

and yet you were badly injured. She's just a mere mortal.

Think of some other way.

Li Luo finally got to be with His Highness.

You must save Li Luo.

All right, I'm thinking hard.

Li Luo...

Li Luo, can you hear me?

It's Ka Suo.

You have to hang in there.

Do you still remember that we agreed to live in the mortal realm?

We're going to raise horses on the prairie...

We're going to gaze up at the stars by the lake...

Li Luo...

Ka Suo...

Li Luo.

Ka Suo...

Li Luo, I won't let anything happen to you.

I won't let anything happen to you.

Thank you...

I really am very blessed...

to be your wife.

It's a pity that it only lasted for a day...

No...

We still have many more days together.

We're still going to have children.

We will watch them grow up...

We will grow old together.

I'm sorry.

I might not... live until then.

Bear this in mind...

You must stay well and safe on your own.

Don't make me worry...

Your Highness, I have come for you.

Then I won't be your envoy anymore.

I'll just be Ka Suo's friend.

The place I wish to be the most is by my friend's side.

My king. I have returned.

I've been waiting so long for you.

No! Li Luo!

Li Luo!

Li Luo! Wake up!

Li Luo! Don't leave me!

Don't leave me!

Huang Tuo!

I really can't save someone who is bound to die!

We can only use magical to seal away

her body and soul to keep her in this state.

Then we can try to come up with a plan.

What are you still waiting for?

We will need very strong magical powers but I...

Neither of us are capable of it!

Ka Suo!

Your immortal powers aren't fully restored yet.

Let me give it a try.

Your Grace!

What exactly happened to you?

Why is everyone looking for you?

Your Grace, I had wanted to kill Ying Kong Shi

but I ended up injuring Li Luo by accident.

I'm sorry!

All right, it will be fine.

I'll bear whatever consequences for you.

No... no!

How can I drag you into the mistake that I made?

Should anything happen to you, it's as good as killing me.

Don't worry. Just get out of here. They won't do anything to me.

All right? Go and hide on Cherry Blossom Island first.

- Be good! Go now! Now! - No!

Be good! They won't do anything to me! Go now!

- Go now! Quickly! - Your Grace...

Shi!

Shi, you don't look well.

Should I ask Huang Tuo to take a look at you?

I'm fine.

You...

The magical powers you just used...

What were they?

Don't ask me about it.

I won't answer you anyway.

Shi... I keep thinking that you seem to be deeply troubled.

You should share your woes with me.

I'm your brother.

But I kept bringing misfortune upon you.

Li Luo was trying to save me and ended up getting hurt.

I don't want you to get hurt.

You should stay with Li Luo.

Shi, you've wielded your magical powers quite well.

Why did my eye become like this?

That's the prestigious mark of our tribe.

Ying Kong Shi, congratulations on your growth.

You're now an immortal of the Ice Flame Tribe.

Ice Flame Tribe?

What is the Ice Flame Tribe?

I don't want to become an Ice Flame tribesman.

I don't belong to the Ice Flame Tribe.

Only those with our tribe's blood flowing in their veins

can wield our magical powers.

Accept your fate.

No!

What is this?

This is the mark left by magical powers.

I've compared it to Chao Ya's, Liao Jian's, and Pian Feng's.

It's not any of theirs.

Could it be from the weird magical powers that His Majesty wielded?

Most likely.

What dark magic is that?

I've fought with the Fire Tribe before.

That doesn't seem like their magical powers either.

I suspect that...

it could be the magical powers of the long lost Ice Flame Tribe.

Ice Flame Tribe?

The Ice Flame Tribe is an extinct tribe from the ancient times.

They wielded unprecedented powers.

Their immortal and magical powers are above those of the Ice and Fire Tribes.

It's said that there's a crazed immortal of the Ice Flame Tribe

who was imprisoned on Prisoner's Rock Island.

However, we went to take a look there

and the enchantment shield was already broken.

The crazed immortal is no longer there.

You think that crazed god passed on his magical powers to His Majesty?

That doesn't make any sense.

Immortals can only wield the magical powers of his own tribe.

We can't wield magical powers of the Ice Tribe and vice versa.

Unless His Majesty isn't of Ice Tribe descent.

But isn't that even more absurd?

Now that it has come to this I'm not afraid to tell you...

I've always been suspicious of Ying Kong Shi's parentage.

What?

If His Majesty isn't of the Ice Tribe, where did he come from?

I have to bring Ying Kong Shi here!

We have to get this sorted out!

Don't act so recklessly!

Don't act so recklessly?

What's the point in taking guesses here?

We'll bring him here to confront him!

I don't want you to become the next Xuan Ta.

This isn't as simple as you think it is.

The murders of the teens in Snowmist Forest...

the fire in the Illusion Chamber...

and the assassination attempt on Prince Ka Suo...

This series of accidents wasn't caused by an assassin of the Fire Tribe.

This was done by a spy.

If my speculation is right

Xuan Ta was silenced because he discovered the truth!

You mean to say that Ying Kong Shi is the spy?

But he is still on the throne acting as if nothing has happened.

He is still our king.

We are still short of crucial evidence.

I can't confirm it yet.

I really hope that the spy isn't Ying Kong Shi.

Lan Shang and Ying Kong Shi have been very close friends.

She was also quite close to Li Luo.

However, she changed so abruptly today and attacked both of them.

I'm afraid that there must be some unknown reason.

Once we find Lan Shang...

We will find out Ying Kong Shi's secret.

I went to visit Snowdash today.

I told Snowdash that you were held up by some matters

so you can't take care of it for some time.

I told it to go with Qin Chu.

It seemed to have understood me.

It kept rubbing its head on me.

It was as if it was consoling me.

Li Luo...

You must get well soon.

Listen. Even Snowdash is cheering you on.

When you get well...

We'll take it with us to live in the mortal world.

All right?

This is...

The ice is melting faster than I expected.

I'll go to His Majesty again.

I'll ask him to transfer more immortal powers.

Don't bother Shi again.

He's already physically and mentally worn out.

We don't know how long we can keep Li Luo in this state.

It can't go on for long just by transferring our immortal powers.

What should we do?

We should perhaps move Li Luo elsewhere.

Send her to a place where it's always cold and gloomy.

If so, we can use natural forces to keep her enchantment shield intact.

Apart from Snowblade City is there any place like that?

Yes.

The bottom of Infinity Ocean.

Stop!

What are you doing?

How can you throw Li Luo into the sea?

Li Luo isn't dead yet.

You can't give up on healing her.

We're not going to give up on her.

We're just going to keep her body and soul intact.

I can then save her when I come up with a way.

No.

Should anything go wrong, Li Luo might...

If she remains in Snowblade City we can at least still visit her.

Qin Chu.

You fought alongside Li Luo for years.

Have you ever seen her flinch away from a battle?

No.

Li Luo is the bravest warrior.

She always fights until the very end.

If she could make the choice

she'd rather take the risk than do nothing at all.

When the sword fairies were still gnawing away at my body

everyone said that I was doomed.

However, Li Luo never gave up on me.

She risked everything to save me.

I'm doing the same for her today.

Li Luo, wait for me.

I will definitely come back for you.

Let's head back.

Why don't you head back first?

I'd like to stay here for a while longer.

Li Luo...

You won't have to be afraid of the night anymore.

You can have a good sleep.

I'll visit you every day until you wake up.

Ka Suo, I'm sorry.

I had wanted you and Li Luo to be happy.

I never expected it to end up like this.

I don't understand why...

Why would Lan Shang do that?

She should have already found closure.

Why would this happen?

Don't blame Lan Shang.

She's also innocent.

This is entirely my fault.

Why would you say that?

When I find the true culprit behind all of this

I'll tell you everything.

Since this is my fault

I should be the one to put an end to it.

Find Shuo Gang.

Have you heard?

When Mermaid Princess Lan Shang killed Princess Consort Li Luo

the King of Ice wielded an extremely flashy sort of magical power.

It wasn't our tribe's magical power.

Where did the King of Ice learn such dark magic?

I don't know.

However, the throne was supposed to be passed on to Prince Ka Suo

but then Prince Shi defeated him.

He might have used this sort of dark magic then as well.

I see...

Do you both still remember?

When Prince Shi was born the Seven Saints foretold his future.

Right then, three saints were injured.

Later on, after the match between him and Prince Ka Suo

the other four saints were killed.

See? Even before he took the throne all Seven Saints were killed.

Could he be the reincarnation of a demon?

That can't be...

Shut up!

What kind of nonsense is that?

Who are you?

She is the Queen Mother, the birth mother of our new king.

This...

From now on...

whoever dares to spread rumors about the King of Ice...

I will take his life. Do you understand?

- Yes. - Get lost.

- Yes. - Yes.

You may all leave.

Queen Mother, the former King of Ice told us

that the Fire Tribe assassin might attack at any time.

We have to protect Mermaid Saint.

Just stand guard outside then.

The former King of Ice commanded us not to leave her side.

This is really ridiculous.

I'm the Queen Mother. How dare you disobey me?

The former King of Ice said that he was protecting me.

But he's actually afraid that I will escape.

I am now a prisoner, so I have to act like one.

Aren't you afraid of looking bad by saying those words to your subjects?

I almost forgot that our Mermaid Saint is always elegant and noble.

She is a queen who maintains a royal demeanor even in great crisis.

However, I'd love to see if you can still smile when Lan Shang is executed.

What exactly happened last night?

Who was in the wrong? Who was the source of the disaster?

That is all very hard to discern.

No one is allowed to declare Lan Shang guilty so easily.

No matter what happened

the truth is that Lan Shang wanted to kill Li Luo.

Even Ka Suo saw it with his own eyes.

Ka Suo is the precious son of the former King and Queen of Ice.

As for Li Luo?

She is Ka Suo's most beloved princess consort.

How could they let Lan Shang go free and not seek revenge for their son?

Everyone in the Ice Tribe is searching for Lan Shang.

They will find her sooner or later.

Even if she escapes back into the sea

your tribesmen will hand her over to protect themselves.

That's enough.

I'll take on anyone who hurts Lan Shang!

Lan Shang committed such a severe crime as murdering the princess consort!

Even if you risk your life

you can't save your precious granddaughter!

Only I can save her.

An eye for an eye. That's utterly justified.

Your Grace should take the general interest into consideration.

You'd better hand Lan Shang over.

It matters more to maintain the thousand-year friendship

between The Mermaids and the Ice Tribe.

Since we're both mermaids

I can promise you that I will surely keep Lan Shang alive.

Take Lan Shang with you and escape from here.

I will cover for you.

I understand.

There's a secret water passage under Blossom's Spring.

If you keep swimming from there

you'll get to Frost Lake outside the city.

I will be there to assist you.

I understand!

Your Grace, you might as well enjoy a bath in Blossoms Spring tonight.

Your mind will be much clearer if your body is relaxed.

Take her to Blossoms Spring tonight to clear her head.

Mermaid Saint is the honorable guest of Snowblade City.

The former King of Ice told you to protect her

but as long as she doesn't leave the palace, it's not against orders.

Is there a problem with that?

No, we will follow your orders.

Keep riding toward the east.

That will get you to the coast of Infinity Ocean.

Why would you save me and Lan Shang?

In the end, I'm still a mermaid.

Are you?

I think it's because Lan Shang found out about your unspeakable acts

so you're afraid that she will get caught by the Ice Tribe.

Anyway, just take Lan Shang with you and run as far away as possible.

Don't ever return again.

Fine.

Until we meet again, stay well.

The fish fell for the bait.

We were right to follow Lotus.

Who knew that The Mermaids would stand in solidarity?

They only share the same interests.

We are sure to find Lan Shang if we follow Mermaid Saint.

Mermaid princess?

We meet again.

We're really meant to be.

Shuo Gang?

I heard that you killed Ka Suo's bride

and you're now wanted by the Ice Tribe.

I thought that you might hide out here...

Cherry Blossom Island is a confidential location of The Mermaids.

How did you find your way here?

I have been here once.

And I even had a great time with you for quite a long while.

What did you say?

Right... here's what happened.

I'll help you recall your memories.

You've forgotten about it?

At that time, you were blindfolded.

You didn't even see clearly.

It wasn't Ka Suo who held you in his arms.

Nor was it Ying Kong Shi.

It was me.

Nonsense!

You were sitting right under that tree.

I blindfolded you with a handkerchief.

You thought that I was Ka Suo

and you even asked if my feelings for you were true.

I then took your hand and placed it right on my chest.

Do you still remember how you held me so tightly then?

You were in pain but felt joy at the same time.

Tears even rolled down your face in the end.

They formed the most precious Teardrop Charm of The Mermaids.

I was wrong...

I misunderstood Ying Kong Shi and even killed Li Luo...

It really hurts me to see you so upset.

Don't be upset.

Let me dote on you!

Shuo Gang! I'll tear you into pieces!

Don't you dare!

If you dare to hurt me, I'll have her die with me!

Ying Kong Shi!

What are you doing here?

I am here to avenge Lan Shang.

Where is Lan Shang?

Ka Suo...

I'm so sorry...

I've wronged Ying Kong Shi.

I even killed Li Luo.

I destroyed your happiness.

I'm too ashamed to stay alive.

How is he?

How do you find Ka Suo?

Your Grace has fallen for him?

I'll take a look for you.

Ka Suo?

Let go of her.

Look.

Since I fell for you

I've been practicing to walk on land.

When we get married and I get my true pair of legs

I'll dance with you in this pair of shoes here in Snowblade City.

I like you!

Ka Suo...

I've been searching everywhere for you.

Be it from the immortal realm to the mortal realm

or the mortal realm to the immortal realm

I've never stopped searching for you.

Whoever you are...

Even if you turn into a monster

I will still love you!

Princess Lan Shang.

Her support for Prince Ka Suo is known to all life forms in the three realms.

We all bear witness to it.

You're not lying.

Lan Shang!

She's over there!

Ka Suo...

My beloved king...

Farewell.

Where is Lan Shang?

We were too late.

She escaped into the ocean.

Lan Shang!

Lan Shang!

What is this?

Teardrop Charm? What is it doing here?

Without the Teardrop Charm

a married mermaid can't survive in the ocean. This is bad!

Lan Shang didn't escape. She jumped.
