Queen Chao Ya disarmed the warriors

but Princess Lan Shang was even more skilled.

She turned conflict into a shower of flowers.

She won the match without a fight.

I determine Princess Lan Shang as the winner.

Ka Suo.

I had wanted to set you free.

Who knew that I'd only burden you further?

I'm so sorry, my brother.

The third round is actually a test for Shi and me

rather than Luna and Huang Tuo.

The third round of the match is to see if the next King of Ice

is a ruler of compassion.

Next round, the battle at Withering Blossom Hillside

will be entirely up to you.

[Episode 29]

I can't let them kill Shi.

That's not what Shi is destined for.

Why have you asked to see me?

We haven't played on the swings together in a long time.

Play with me for a while?

We can't play on the swings together anymore.

Tomorrow we will become enemies.

I have thought it through.

I have Father and Mother...

who support me, as well as my tribesmen and friends.

I can't let them down.

Moreover...

you're just the child of a concubine.

The throne was supposed to be mine.

Ying Kong Shi.

If you withdraw from the match tomorrow

we can go back to being close brothers like we were.

When you lost to me in ice soccer you promised to do me a favor.

What is it that you ask for?

I want you to withdraw from the match

or you can tell Father that you're willing to lose to me.

Anyway, I want to become the King of Ice.

That's impossible.

You're just like everyone else.

You don't take me seriously either.

The promise that you made was just an empty promise.

If you don't make up your mind today to give up

I'll do everything I can to defeat you tomorrow.

I will never give up the throne

nor will I lose to you.

You can't wield any magical powers at all.

Do you really think that you can defeat me?

Yes.

It's best to show me how you can get out of this now

and prove to me that you can defeat me.

You know that if I wanted to

I could kill you now.

If you kill me, you'd better flee from the Ice Tribe.

Otherwise, you'll be wanted by all three realms.

Shi.

Kill me.

Kill me and then escape from the Ice Tribe.

Escape from your cruel fate.

If my death can bring you a new life

I'll die without any regret.

I thought that even if no one knew what I had on my mind

you would.

But you have changed.

Or maybe I have always been wrong about you.

I will do all that I can to defeat you tomorrow.

I will become the King of Ice.

Then I will cast you out of Snowblade City immediately.

Ying Kong Shi!

Ka Suo...

Farewell.

I'm so sorry...

Shi... I'm sorry.

Which of them will win?

I think it'll be Prince Shi.

I think it'll be Prince Ka Suo.

They will be competing up there later.

Who do you think will win this time?

I think that Prince Ka Suo has a better chance.

- Prince Shi is quite powerful as well. - Really?

Qin Chu.

Who do you place your bet on, Prince Shi or Prince Ka Suo?

My bet is on Prince Ka Suo.

Even unhatched eggs in Snowmist Forest

know that Prince Shi stands a better chance.

Do you have so much money that you want to lose the bet?

If Prince Ka Suo wins

he will become the King of Ice.

He won't be able to visit the mortal realm freely.

You're worried that Prince Ka Suo will pester Li Luo?

Look.

Withering Blossom Hillside

is the traditional training ground for magical powers.

All kings of the Ice Tribe

have to be tested before assuming the throne.

Ka Suo.

Ying Kong Shi.

The rules of this match are as follows.

You have to use your magical powers

to turn the cherry blossoms into snowflakes.

Whoever transforms the most cherry blossoms

will become the King of Ice.

The final round!

Withering Blossom Hillside!

Start!

He turned all of the cherry blossoms into snowflakes in an instant.

Shi's immortal powers have improved so much.

Of all of the Ice Tribe's kings, only She Mi could match his skill.

Why isn't Ka Suo making a move?

If this continues he will lose the match.

What?

You're also one of the Seven Saints?

Yes.

If you also intend to kill Shi after he defeats me

I have nothing more to say to you.

Your Highness!

I don't think that the Seven Saints' divination can determine the king.

As long as you follow what your heart truly desires

destiny can be changed.

The other saints also asked me

who I truly considered as the next King of Ice.

I believe that it should be decided by you and Shi.

My decision is that...

I have to save Shi.

I must defeat him.

I have a way to help Your Highness accomplish what you wish for.

- There's blood. - I smell blood!

Does Ka Suo intend to lure out sword fairies with blood

and use them as his magical powers to destroy

Ying Kong Shi's ice sealed blossoms in order to defeat him?

In your dreams!

Come out, sword fairies!

You think you can defeat Shi by summoning the sword fairies?

How despicable.

Ka Suo, in order to defeat me, you would be tortured by sword fairies?

I won't let you do so!

Heed my advice and give up!

Ka Suo!

There are sword fairies in me.

That makes me the sheath of The Deicide!

It can't hurt me.

Ka Suo!

Ka Suo, it's been a while.

- You're even weaker now. - Sword fairy...

When I finish my final task

you can take my soul if you still want it!

Ka Suo!

Ka Suo!

Prince Ka Suo!

Why do you have to torture yourself?

I have to win this match...

- I must win... - Ka Suo...

Have I succeeded?

There's still one petal dangling on the tree.

The match at Withering Blossom Hillside...

The winner is...

Ying Kong Shi.

Shi, I'm so sorry...

What do you mean?

Ka Suo?

Ka Suo?

Ka Suo...

Ka Suo!

How could Ying Kong Shi be so cruel to his own brother?

- He's too mean! - Your Highness.

The damage was actually done by the sword fairies who devoured Ka Suo's body.

If Ying Kong Shi hadn't stopped them in time

the sword fairies would have taken Ka Suo's soul and--

Nonsense!

Ka Suo will be fine.

How is Ka Suo?

He deliberately called the sword fairies over

and lured in other sword fairies dwelling in The Deicide

so now all his inner organs are damaged again.

If we can't think of a way to dispel the sword fairies from him

it might even be difficult to keep him alive for 100 days.

I must invite all of the most important guests

of the three realms to your coronation ceremony.

The Illusion Chamber must be refurnished.

Shi, how would you like it to be?

Can you tell me how to restore my brother's immortal powers now?

Ka Suo tried so hard to defeat you today.

He didn't care about your kinship.

Why would you still want to help him?

Haven't you ever thought that it was good for you

that Ka Suo lost his immortal powers?

Now, he's not a threat to you.

My brother must've had his reasons for wanting to defeat me.

Fine.

Even if I tell you the solution

Ka Suo is possessed by sword fairies now.

You might not be able to help him even if he gets his powers back.

That isn't what I asked you about.

I just want to know how to restore my brother's powers.

Unless... you've been lying to me?

How could I have lied to you?

What is the solution, then?

As long as he kills an immortal...

Kills an immortal?

But a powerful immortal wouldn't be enhanced

by taking powers from common immortals.

Vice versa, if a weak immortal takes the life of a powerful one

he can take away his immortal powers.

That's impossible.

My brother would never do that.

He would never kill another immortal for his own interest.

There's no other solution, then.

He's the one who can't do it.

Mother.

You already knew that my brother would never do that.

You used that to tempt me into going against him

to vie for the throne, right?

I did all of this for your sake!

Mother, you can leave now.

I'd like to be left alone.

Ka Suo...

Why did you apologize to me?

What should I do to help you?

Here.

It's so beautiful...

She will look so pretty in it.

All right, you may leave.

I won't eat you.

I went through great pains to come all the way here

so that you could tell me how to restore an immortal's power.

- Please tell me. - I already told you.

I won't tell you!

It's best for you to give it up.

I won't leave until you tell me.

I have to save my king.

Forget him!

Immortals and mortals must not fall in love! There are consequences!

Do you not see that I am a living example?

Could it be...

You were once in love with a mortal?

That day...

I was hunting in the woods as usual.

I ran into a mortal girl who barged into the immortal realm by accident.

She was called Jia Ling.

Jade!

- At that moment - Watch out!

I suddenly felt that I was gifted with a long and boring immortal life

so that I could meet her.

Are you all right?

It's so beautiful!

- Is it? - Yes!

Day Blossoms only bloom once every 500 years.

That one is so pretty!

That one?

All right.

Put it on.

Day Blossoms bore witness

to my and Jia Ling's engagement.

Unfortunately, Jia Ling's life withered like a Day Blossom.

After she lived through her best days

she couldn't avoid the sickness and death of the mortals.

I really wish... to see Day Blossoms bloom again.

Sadly...

I won't be alive to see them...

I was determined to turn Jia Ling into an immortal

to prevent her imminent death.

Therefore, I ended up committing an unforgivable crime.

She Yin.

Killing an immortal is the most unforgivable sin.

According to the law, I'm sending you to the northern border

for all eternity!

Go! Bring me that mortal woman!

No!

Jia Ling...

The worst suffering in life

is to have what you desire within sight, but out of reach.

To be in love and yet unable to stay together.

You have depraved yourself for this woman

so I made her the torment of your life!

Jia Ling!

Her name was Jia Ling?

What a beautiful name.

What's going on?

It's the earthquake at the northern border.

- Run! - Leave now!

The day has finally come!

I've been waiting here for 3,000 years to see Jia Ling one last time.

This day has finally come!

I...

Run! Jia Ling is already dead!

Leave now!

Listen up.

If you're not afraid to be cursed like me

take this with you to summon the Will of The Fallen!

Take it!

I wish you luck!

Leave now!

Jia Ling...

Jia Ling...

Wait... for me.

She Yin!

She Yin!

She Yin!

She Yin!

Was the story of She Yin and Jia Ling true

or was it just a dream that I had?

Shi...

Shi...

Shi...

Shi!

Ka Suo.

Don't move.

You're too badly wounded.

No...

I have to see Ying Kong Shi.

You can see him when you get better.

Shi is in danger.

They won't let him off!

Slowly.

Shi...

Xuan Ta, keep an eye on Prince Ka Suo.

You must protect him

but you mustn't let him know what we are going to do.

Yes.

Princess Lan Shang?

Is something the matter?

I'm just here to take a look at Prince Ka Suo.

Prince Ka Suo just fell asleep.

It's best not to disturb him.

I'll wait in his hall.

Shi!

Shi!

- Ka Suo? - Shi!

- Shi... - What's wrong?

Leave now.

Where to?

Leave the Ice Tribe. Go as far as you can from here.

What happened?

The Seven Saints are going to kill you.

Leave now!

Go!

In She Mi's name

and the duty bestowed upon the Seven Saints

we need to eliminate the inauspicious immortal deemed unworthy of the throne.

Ying Kong Shi.

Who are you to say that I'm not worthy of the throne?

You were not chosen by the sacred magical cube as the King of Ice.

You caused the death of Saint Bi Luo who tried to foretell your future

and triggered the Battle of Ice and Fire!

All of that proved that you're the jinx of the Ice Tribe!

They really will have you killed.

Leave now!

You knew that they were going to kill me so you had to defeat me, right?

Leave now!

Step aside!

Leave the Ice Tribe now and I can still spare your lives.

The Seven Saints would rather sacrifice our souls

than abandon the mission entrusted to us by our ancestor!

Ka Suo...

I should never have doubted you.

I'm sorry.

Ying Kong Shi must not die.

You're the true heir to the real immortal tribe

- that rises above all others. - No.

- You must not die. - I'm just a bastard child

who doesn't know which tribe I belong to.

All I do is make my brother worried

but I can't even protect him.

Your powers have yet to be awakened.

I'll give you a hand. Wake up.

Wake up and burn this ignorant world to ashes.

- What is going on? - This is weird!

Immortals of the Ice Tribe can't fend off the sacred magical cube.

The immortal power that he's giving off isn't that of the Ice Tribe!

Kill him!

I will end the three realms.

What are you going to do?

Where has Prince Ka Suo gone?

He said that Shi was in trouble so he went to the Illusion Chamber.

Ka Suo is in there! What should we do?

The fire was caused by the battle between Prince Shi and the four saints.

The sacred magical cube doesn't seem right.

Ying Kong Shi...

Why don't we use your hands

to ruin the three realms?

Let me take over your body.

Only you and I are on the same side.

Shi...

Let him be!

Shi...

Ka Suo!

Ka Suo, are you all right?

Shi...

Did the four saints hurt you?

No.

What happened to your eye?

Let's get out of here first.

What happened?

Your Majesty, it must have gotten out of control in the Illusion Chamber.

Get in there right away to save them!

Ka Suo!

Ka Suo.

What happened?

The four saints kept attacking me

but then a black mist appeared suddenly.

It's that black mist again.

Darn it...

Take him away to get treatment.

Yes!

Here, slowly.

Shi.

Why is your eye hurt?

Shuo Gang.

I've finally found you.
