Master, My Lord.

There is no danger to Miss' life.

it is only because she was unable to breathe for a moment that is why she is still unconscious.

When will she wake?

She may wake up right away or she may sleep for a few more days.

Miss!

Yan'er?

You're awake?

Yan'er it was Lord Xiao who saved you.

Fox, it is good you are fine.

Yan'er how could you push his lordship?

Yan'er...Yan'er you..

Pretty.

-What are you doing? -Pretty.

-Yan'er! -So pretty!

-What are you doing? -Miss, stop it.

-Yan'er! -You're hurting me!

-Ran Yan! You! -Miss!

Pretty!

Miss what's wrong?

-Yan'er! -Pretty! Pretty!

Mei Yu! Mei Yu!

Enough!

Physician,

what is wrong with her?

My Lord, because she was unable to breathe

so her brain was damaged

causing her to do something so strange.

Can you treat her?

About that...I truly cannot do anything about it.

-Yan'er! -Pretty!

-Mei Yu! -Yan'er!

Look at Father.

-Let go! -Yan'er!

What are you doing?

will insert a needle in her so she can rest.

-Let go! -Yan'er!

Calm down!

Miss!

-Yan'er! -Miss! Miss!

Come here.

-Are you alright Mei Yu? -Mother!

Everyone in the Ran manor,

go outside!

I have something to say!

This...

Let's go, hurry and go outside.

What time did Ran Yan leave today?

There are so many of you how can none of you have seen her?

My Lord.

Eldest Miss will never tell the servants what she is doing.

So...none of us know.

Which means...

someone did this on purpose.

l...

I have a headache.

Mei Yu.

You are heavily pregnant so you must ensure you are happy.

If you are in a bad mood, then the child in you will be in a bad state too.

So for your child you must be happy.

Mother, how can I be happy?

Right now the entire Suzhou city knows I am bearing Lord Xiao's child.

But Lord Xiao..

he refuses to give me a position in his household.

I've already become a laughingstock in Suzhou!

Mei Yu.

The Xiao family must give permission in order for Lord Xioa to marry.

Also His Majesty must agree too.

Then....

Then your wife (I)...will patiently wait for you to marry me.

Enough!

I am investigating a case.

Say the things you should be telling me.

And you better not say anything inappropriate!

My Lord Ran Yan she...

My elder sister.

My sister was discovered in the water.

I think she remembered how her Mother died unjustly because of her when she got back

so she was upset and tried to commit suicide!

If you continue to speak nonsense,

I will not be so kind to you.

My lord please calm down.

My Lord.

Just forgive Mei Yu.

Mei Yu is bearing your child right now,

do not let her baby be harmed over this.

Have you seen Ran Yan today?

My Lord.

You suspect that I hurt her?

Am I this evil

in your heart?

I am heavily pregnant,

I will not do anything so despicable!

My Lord.

The Physician said that the gender of Mei Yu's baby was male.

No matter what this child will be a descendant of the Xiao clan.

If something happens to Mei Yu that is a minor matter,

but if something happens to this child,

then how can you answer to your ancestors?

Guards!

Here!

Starting from today,

the entire Ran household is forbidden to leave here!

They must co-operate!

Yes!

My Lord this...My Lord. My Lord.

My Lord! Ran Yan's husband is Su Fu,

if someone has to take her away, it should be he!

Mei Yu do not say so much!

I have to say it!

My Lord! I am the one you are marrying!

I am pregnant with your child, have you forgotten?!

I will take Ran Yan away.

Whoever dares to stop me...

I will kill you!

-My Lord! -Mei Yu!

My Lord Examiner Ran she...

Why did you drag me?

Was Examiner Ran's Mother murdered?

And the killer was likely Guo Fu?

Also,

the bracelet that Examiner Ran thought was an heirloom

was actually the killer's?

I am so confused.

if His Lordship did not appear coincidentally,

perhaps I will never see my Miss again.

Don't worry, My Lord is with her.

Oh yes you just said that your Miss managed to find the item her Mother left her.

And then lost it.

What is it?

She did not have the chance to look.

she does not know what it was and we do not know where she left it.

In the city there have been two murders disguised as suicides.

in one of them we found at the scene

a mark that was exactly the same as a mark that would be left by your Miss' bracelet.

Could it be...that this murderer

was the same person who killed the 1st Mistress 12 years ago?

When did Mistress Gao come to the Ran family?

Your Lordship, it was about 19 years ago.

After one year, she was pregnant with Ran Mei Yu.

You suspect her?

In Ran Yan's room

I discovered that someone retied the bed curtain.

Also her tea table.

There were traces of it being moved.

Which means...

Examiner Ran was attacked in her own room.

Also I discovered during the chaos, Mistress Gao picked up

a broken shard of porcelain in her room.

I remember now!

the flower vase in her room has disappeared.

I only had my attention on Miss and did not discover it!

The vase has disappeared?

Examiner Ran probably broke it in the struggle.

Mistress Gao hid the broken piece...

could she recognize the killer?

Or perhaps..she is the killer?

We need evidence for that.

Protect your miss.

If anything happens to her, report to me right away.

Yes.

Bai Yi.

Get someone to investigate

the background of Mistress Yu and Qiao Chu.

Also...

the people who own a similar bracelet as Ran Yan within the Suzhou city.

Yes.

My Lord.

These are congratulatory messages the officials nearby have sent to you.

Congratulatory messages?

His Lordship is not celebrating a birthday nor marrying. Why are they congratulating him?

My Lord these messages write about congratulating

your impeding marriage with Ran Mei Yu.

It is not only these messaged.

My entire manor is filled with their congratulatory gifts.

These officials are not very capable with their work,

but they are very good at hearing what's in the wind.

That is not the important part.

I fear someone is releasing this wind.

Chief, Ran Yan took something away from the Qingli brothel,

it was something her Mother left for her 12 years ago before her death,.

What is it?

We are still investigating.

Su Fu is still recuperating in bed.

Hurry and investigate it.

Yes.

[Qingli Brothel]

According to the madam of the brothel Miss Ran came to collect something her old acquaintance left here.

But the madam does not know what it is either.

You managed to find the gift your Mother left you.

You must be very happy.

What happened that day?

One of the lantern stands always fell over.

But luckily nothing really happened.

Lamp stand?

Which one?

It seems to be like this one.

It is so strange.

This lamp stand is very sturdy.

There was no wind that day.

I wonder why it fell.

Guo Fu did not die from poisoning.

Instead before his blood was sucked dry, he was shot in the neck and died.

Instead before his blood was sucked dry,

Let go! Let go!

Miss!

Miss!

Be careful! Miss!

Miss, calm down.

Stop throwing that! Miss be careful!

Be careful!

Miss! Miss!

Miss! Be careful!

How could this happen?

How could the Su family call off the betrothal at a time like this?

Miss!

Stop!

Bad person!

Let go! Let go! Let...

I didn't do it!

Let go of me! Let go of me!

-Let go of me! -My Lord

None of you follow us!

Let go! Let go of me!

Miss must have provoked His Lordship.

Surely he won’t roast her right?

Fox.

Do you still remember?

This is the place where we met.

At the time everyone thought Liu Can was strangled.

Only you...

realized the truth from one look.

Grape...

Grape! I want to eat the grape!

My grape!

My grape!

Return my grape to me!

My grape! You bad person!

Let go of me!

Surely you remember this room right?

That night it was you who stormed into my world!

My grape!

My grape!

My grape is inside! I want to eat grape!

I've fallen in love with you.

There is no grapes inside here.

You lied to me! You're a bad person!

Bai Yi

Come in.

My Lord.

I did not intentionally follow you here.

I was just worried about you.

Find someone to follow her.

And protect her.

Don't worry I've arranged for it long ago.

Also...

Help me prepare a wedding/proposal gift.

[Ran Manor]

Two boxes of gold and silver, two boxes of precious jewels.

And two boxes of silks and expensive cloths.

Why is this thing here?

I thought it was Miss Ran's belongings so I brought it here too.

Examiner Ran found it when she came home,

the gift her Mother left for her.

Help her take good care of it. Take it away.

Yes.

Your Lordship finally came bearing the wedding gift.

All the districts nearby know that

I am about to marry.

The congratulatory messages and gifts'*. have almost filled the entire Prefect Governor's Manor.

It is a good way to force me to marry.

How can normal civilians such as ourselves dare to force you to marry?

Only gossip is a fearful thing.

Besides you come from a prominent background,

everyone knows even with the slightest movement.

Exactly, but it is good now.

As Your Lordship agrees to marry her we do not need to be afraid of the talk.

My Lord, may I boldly ask

do you plan to marry in Chang'an,

or...

We marry tonight.

This..

You are in such a rush?

Master, how can he not be in a rush?

If he does not rush it, then Mei Yu's stomach will grow

and it will not look good.

That is true.

The person I will marry is..

Ran Yan.

My Lord.

Are you mistaken?

Mei Yu is the younger daughter, and she is bearing your child.

My Lord this...

I am a little confused.

-This... -I will only marry

Ran Yan in this life.

My Lord!

I have always loved you deeply.

I am pregnant with your child yet you want to marry someone else,

what will happen to me?

Guards!

Greetings My Lord.

Do you recognize who this person is?

Who is he?

Your Mother will tell you who he is.

Right? Mistress Gao?

My Lord....I...

I do not recognize this person.

How can you not recognize me? It was you who brought the aphrodisiac from me!

You're mistaken!

My Lord it's impossible for me to be mistaken.

Because Mistress Gao is extremely beautiful so she left a deep impression.

Oh yes she accidentally left a handkerchief at my shop.

This...

This is your handkerchief!

W-Why did you buy that drug?

In order to drug me!

To cause Ran Mei Yu and I..

To cause Ran Mei Yu and I...

to become cooked rice from uncooked rice.

Mei Yu, remember.

Only let him drink this wine.

You must not drink it.

Why?

Aprodisiac?

My Lord.

What do you think about me?

I've always liked you.

You're not fox!

Get out!

Bai Yi!

You...

How could you do something so despicable?!

Master!

Just forgive me!

I just did it for Mei Yu!

I just wanted her to marry a good man!

What kind of crime is it to deceive me?!

My Lord! My Lord spare us!

My Lord please spare me!

My wife was simply under a moment's of folly.

She does not know the severe consequences of doing this!

My Lord.

-Please spare her! -My Lord!

-Please spare her! -My Lord!

Please can you be understanding to a Mother.

No matter what I am already bearing your child.

Are you going to abandon your child as well?

Are you not going to shed tears until you see the coffin?

Bring him here!

My Lord please spare me!

Physician.

Repeat what you informed me to Ran Mei Yu!

Repeat what you informed me to Ran Mei Yu!

That day Mistress told me to lie to you.

I was under a moment's of folly,

and accepted Mistress' bribes.

And told everyone that Miss Mei Yu is pregnant with your child!

My Lord, please spare me!

-My Lord! -My Lord!

He is speaking nonsense! Do not listen to it, My Lord!

Want me to find another physician for you

to examine her again?

My Lord! My Lord!

Mother...

Will Lord Xiao never forgive me again?

Mei Yu do not fret.

I will think of another way.

Do you still want to continue? Stop immediately!

Mother...

Mei Yu do not fret.

Even if you must be a concubine

I will think of to marry you into the Xiao family.

No! I do not want to be a concubine!

I don't want to be below Ran Yan forever! I don't want to!

I hate Ran Yan

Mei Yu!

If my daughter cannot have him

then no one else can either!

The Su clan called off the wedding yet Young Master Su disappeared.

How can Miss like a treacherous man like that?

Next time I see him I will..

Sparkly!

I will cherish you for the rest of my life little fox.

Heaven and Earth be my witness I will never break my word.

I only want to find my Mother's real killer.

I want to go and sleep.

/As long as you can be by my side,

everything else is unimportant.

Su Fu..

where are you?

Why are you not by my side?

Chief, Xiao Song did marry Ran Yan.

It seems someone got before us

and hurt her, causing her to go mad.

Only what is Xiao Song's motive for

marrying Ran Yan?

She is going to marry Xiao Song?

[Wan Lv is in my hands, if you want to save her you must kill him]

Someone wishes to harm Xiao Fish.

The killer is.....

This is toxin from the heartbreak plant!

This kind of poison can kill a person within 1 hour of consuming it.

If I do not save Wan Lv,

and continue to pretend to be mad

she will die.

But if I save Wan Lv,

then Xiao Fish will..

Water!

Someone may cause trouble during My Lord's wedding.

Anyway you must ensure he is safe today.

I understand.

Team Leader Bai you've worked hard.

You've worked hard too.

Water! I want to drink water!

Water!

I want to drink some more!

For you then!

You're giving it to me?

Are you unwilling to drink it?

Drink it!

Don't worry.

I added some sleeping powder in this water, you will only fall asleep for a moment.

As long as you fall unconscious.

then there is a chance wan Lv will survive.

Su Fu?

In order to save Miss Ran who was kidnapped here as a bride,

I've decided to become the Lv Bu of the human world*

and the red hare of horses!

Good to see you Team Leader Bai.

How is it good?

Bai Yi you!

Guards! Arrest this thief who stole into the Governor's office!

Don't capture me! I only wish to see Miss Ran

I only want to save Miss Ran from this sea of fire!

Although I oppose this marriage too

but if there is a threat to His Lordship

I will not allow it!

Take him away!

You dare!

I seems to have come from the study.

My Lord!

My Lord what is wrong?

His Lordship is poisoned.

Poisoned?

Why was his lordship suddenly poisoned?

Su Fu,

surely you did not poison His Lordship in order to snatch the bride?

What to do? Did someone switch my sleeping powder?

Yet I didn't discover it?

It wasn't Su Fu it was me!

It's poison!

Arrest her!

Guards!

No-one touch her!

Bai Yi...

Even if I die..

You must use your life to protect...

to protect her!

My Lord!

My Lord!

Call the physician! Hurry!

Yes!

Examiner Ran, were you not mad?

Why do you not look like it now?

Are you better now?

I'll take you away.

Stop!

This!

She is suspected of poisoning My Lord.

Before we find she is innocent, you are forbidden to take her away.

I will not go.

Wan Lv has been captured,

help me save her.

I'll definitely help you save Wan Lv.

if you dare to touch a hair on her head,

I will not let you off!

Wait for me!

Miss Ran do not worry, I will definitely save Wan Lv for you!

This mud is quite unique.

When you smell it, it smells quite refreshing.

If we can find where this mud originated from perhaps we will be able to find the killer.

Such a cold look.

It's too frightening.

Do not look at me in such a way, I only want to help Miss Ran save Wan...

I know that this mud can only be found in the Chinese pagoda tree forest.

So amazing.

So skilled in martial arts.

No need to see me off, he cannot be saved.

Physician! Physician!

How is he?

You've been pretending to be mad all this time,

I am asking you how is he?!

His Lordship has loved you dearly, yet you used him!

Right now I just want to know if he is alive or not!

The physician told me to prepare for his funeral, are you satisfied now?!

You pretended to be mad.

Yet His Lordship still sincerely loved you.

And disregarded everything to marry you!

What about you?

Is this how you repay him?

I really want to kill you!

So that you can accompany His Lordship!

But His Lordship said...

To protect you.

If you feel any guilt towards

His Lordship...

go and see him off.

Xiao Fish cannot die!

And I will not let him die!

Bai Yi.

Go and find my Master.

I will save him myself!

I put a sleeping drug within my medicine bag.

yet someone swapped it out with poison.

I suspect the murderer has people in this manor.

He is running a fever and a dry mouth.

And there is some frothing around his mouth.

His limbs are weak and cold.

He is probably poisoned by the heartbreak grass.

Mix the sesame oil evenly, and froth up the egg whites.

I will do the sesame oil.

Xiao Song is poisoned his life is at risk.

That Ran Yan was truly pretending to be mad.

Didn't expect that Master/Mistress' tactic to be so effective.

And managed to test that she was faking it.

As soon as Xiao Song dies,

no one can protect Ran Yan anymore.

As long as we storm into the Governor's manor, we can take that item.

Master has sent someone to capture Ran Yan.

How is his breathing?

Almost none.

Heartbeat?

Very weak.

Catch the toxins and protect the heart from the effects of the toxins.

Miss Wan Lv!

Stop!

Miss Wan Lv! Miss Wan Lv!

Su Fu! Hurry up!

Hurry and save my Miss

Someone intends to capture her!

What is that noise outside?

It seems like they are fighting outside?

We can only care about him ignore what's going on outside.

Prise open his mouth!.

Yes!

Girl this will not work.

He cannot swallow it.

How is he?

His heart has stopped beating.

You're injured?

Your task is to save My Lord! Stay out of my business!

Nonsense! I was worried you can't stop them

and then we will all be finished!

My mission is to protect His Lordship.

Leave that loyal puppy.

The Master is not dead yet, he will not die either.

Girl, it seems like this rascal is unfortunate.

Girl it's useless

Girl he is already dead! You must face the truth!

Girl!

Girl you have always accepted death when it's due, why do you have to force this?
