(Episode 74)

(I'll wait on the roof.)

I'll wait on the roof.

Sun Hyuk. Promise you'll stop looking for me.

If not, you'll die right now.

Do you think you scare me?

What did Ha Ra make you do?

- And Ms. Hwang... - Shut it!

Do you really want to die?

You think I'm kidding, don't you?

You'll really die if you keep this up!

I don't care what you say. I must find out the truth.

Anyway, count yourself lucky today.

Stop right there.

You crazy little...

Darn it.

What's wrong with me?

(President Oh Ha Jun)

Stay with me, Sun Hyuk.

Who did this to you?

They're trying to do something to Ga Heun.

- What? - Eun Jo...

Why did they say Eun Jo's name?

Bring him in.

(Authorized Personnel Only)

Wook Do. What did you just say?

What do you mean, you gave my husband a warning?

It's as I said.

I warned your husband and made sure he understood.

Make sure he doesn't look for me anymore.

What do you mean, you warned him? What did you do?

Go to Hankuk University Hospital.

Hospital?

Make sure he can't look into Ga Heun being Eun Jo.

And if he bothers Se Rin,

it won't end with a warning.

(Authorized Personnel Only)

Hey, you!

Honey.

(Authorized Personnel Only)

What happened? Is Mr. Cha badly hurt?

How bad is it?

He was stabbed by an assailant.

They operated right away.

The doctor came out just earlier and said...

Ms. Hwang? Are you okay?

What if he doesn't make it?

Don't worry. The doctor said the knife just missed vital organs,

so he won't die.

Sun Hyuk is a very lucky guy.

The surgery will go well.

(Reform)

(Se Rin)

What is this money for?

Se Rin. This is all I have at the moment.

I'm going off the grid for a while.

I'll bury your secret today, so don't worry.

Bury what?

Sun... Sun Hyuk?

Sun Hyuk is in surgery after being stabbed.

Did you tell Wook Do to warn him?

Really?

How is he doing?

Did he... Did he die?

He would've, if the knife had missed slightly.

Luckily, the doctor says he'll live.

So why did you mention Eun Jo in front of him?

Se Rin.

It's your fault Wook Do found out that Ga Heun is Eun Jo.

What will you do now?

It's my fault again?

This is all your fault.

Whatever.

Where is Wook Do now?

His phone is turned off. Did he go off the grid?

His phone is turned off?

Yes. Yes, I think so.

What do you mean, you think so?

Are you sure he's off the grid?

Yes. He left me a note...

saying he's going off the grid.

Listen carefully. If Wook Do calls you,

tell him not to get caught.

If he gets caught, Sun Hyuk will find out.

He went off the grid and turned off his phone.

Why would he call me?

Ha Ra, worry about yourself. Keep Sun Hyuk in check.

Did you and Se Rin do that to Sun Hyuk?

Why? Why did you do it?

Did he find out who I am?

Don't worry. He doesn't know yet.

He must never find out.

Se Rin panicked on her own. That was why Wook Do did that.

And...

Sun Hyuk is my husband.

I was more startled than you!

If this happens again, I'll make you regret it.

Don't break our promise...

and our rules of war.

If you do, forget the movie.

I'll kill you first.

Sun Hyuk, what happened?

Who did this to you?

Sun Hyuk! My son!

What happened?

Ha Jun, what happened to him?

What is this about someone stabbing him?

My gosh. Oh my gosh.

We've reported it to the police.

The surgery went well.

He'll wake up once the anesthesia wears off.

Don't worry too much.

But... Who would do this to him?

He's such a good person. Why would anyone want to harm him?

Last time, Bo Mi ended up in the hospital.

This time, it's Sun Hyuk.

- I can't live like this. - Don't cry, Mom.

His surgery went well.

I won't be able to go on living...

if anything happens to Sun Hyuk.

- Mr. Oh. - Yes, Ms. Hwang.

Sun Hyuk's mother and sister came.

I see.

The surgery went well.

That punk is healthy, so they say he'll recover quickly.

Let's go back to the office.

I have to fill Father in on the situation too.

We should.

Do you want to come after he wakes up?

I'm his wife. I should be the one to stay with him until he wakes up.

We haven't gotten divorced yet.

I'm his wife right now.

Stay in your place, Ga Heun.

Hey, Ha Ra.

We're all equally worried about him, so give it a rest.

Ms. Hwang. His mother will call when he wakes up.

Let's just go.

Did you find out how Sun Hyuk is doing?

Yes. The surgery went well, so he'll pull through.

Do they know who did it?

Miss Ga Heun says it was Na Wook Do.

She thinks he did it to protect Se Rin...

in case Sun Hyuk figures out Miss Ga Heun is Eun Jo.

Even so, how could he...

Okay, you may go.

If Sun Hyuk finds out who Ga Heun is,

he may become a stumbling block to her revenge.

Really? The surgery went well?

Thank goodness.

Whatever the case may be, you're still his wife, Ha Ra.

Stay with him so people don't talk.

What did she say? Is he okay?

Yes. The surgery went well,

and Ha Ra will stay with him.

She says not to worry.

Gosh. Thank goodness.

How could this happen again in our building?

Someone must have planned this.

It's not like Sun Hyuk would anger someone.

Don't tell me... Ha Ra isn't involved, is she?

Honey! How could you say that?

Why would she?

She even hired someone to kidnap her own son.

Did she get angry and do this because Sun Hyuk wanted a divorce?

Ha Ra couldn't have been involved, could she?

What is all of this? It's so uncivilized.

Must you do this to my office that represents elegance and luxury?

And I said to wash these in the laundromat.

Hwang Chun Gil...

took every last penny that I had.

I have to pay interest every month. I have no money for a laundromat.

Give me some money if you have.

I have no money.

I'm losing my mind too because I have so many expenses.

Why don't you have money?

You're always going shopping for shoes and clothes.

You spent so much.

And they were all designer goods...

and always the latest.

The money from Wook Do isn't enough, even for my credit card bill.

I'm in no position to worry about Dad.

I'm a fashion designer.

I don't spend just for fun.

This is all an investment.

Give me a break.

Is that why you paid DDM Queen to buy her designs?

Dad!

Anyway,

you won't be here much longer.

You should tighten your belt from now on.

You remember from when we lived downstairs to Sang Man.

Forget it.

I won't be pathetic like that again. You can do it by yourself.

That's right. You should look for a job.

Work as a security guard or something.

From now on, we're each on our own.

What? We're each on our own?

How could a daughter...

say that to her dad? Gosh.

What about you? How will you survive?

I have to deal with Ms. Geum first.

I have to launch DDM Venus.

Is that possible?

I won't return to being the old Ju Se Rin.

I won't live in the sewer again.

I'd rather die.

So don't even think about leeching off of me.

I won't give up on this office or DDM Venus.

Hey, but still.

You and I are a set. A father and daughter set.

We should put our heads together...

and figure out a way to get out of this mess.

I said to leave me alone.

I'm going to tell Ms. Geum that you went off the grid.

You should tell yourself I'm gone too.

Tell yourself...

I got married in Africa or somewhere else far away.

Ms. Geum will do something for sure if she knows we're together.

So stay out of my life until this is resolved.

Don't show your face.

Look...

I know you're being like this because I was conned...

out of 50 million dollars...

and blew our entire fortune.

But still, how could you say that to your dad?

Dad. I'll succeed and come back.

Take this.

Live on it somehow until you find a job.

What? Okay.

Get out. Go look for a job.

The early bird catches the worm.

Go on. Get out.

But... Se Rin... Se Rin.

Hold on.

- Give me 100 dollars more. - Get out!

- 100 dollars. - Get out!

Forget it. I don't want a dad who's a leech.

This is the only way I can survive now.

Ha Ra. You've messed with the wrong person.

What is this?

Where's the 10 million dollars? Didn't you bring it?

I don't have the money.

What do you mean?

Your dad said he invested with my 50 million dollars...

and made 50 million more.

Mother. Listen carefully. Don't be too startled.

That was a lie.

He was conned out of that money.

My dad is even on the run from a loan shark.

Of all the... That's not funny.

He said he made money when I spoke to him on the phone.

Wait. A loan shark? What do you mean by that?

If only you hadn't hounded him to give you your money...

Because of that seven million dollars,

we lost our house, the mall, our land, and all the money...

my dad had saved up.

I have nothing now.

What?

Then... My 50 million dollars...

How could he...

This can't be!

Mother. The real shocker is yet to come.

Get a grip.

Watch carefully. See what Ha Ra does.

What? Why is Mr. Ko...

Why is Ha Ra there?

Ha Ra killed Eun Jo's dad.

When he collapsed, I ran over with his insulin shot,

but she stopped me.

What do you mean?

Why would she kill Mr. Ko?

Because he was digging into Eun Jo's death and found out...

that Ha Ra and I killed Eun Jo and her unborn baby.

That we killed them.

Se Rin! What... What gibberish are you spewing at me?

Mother!

Your daughter, Ha Ra, killed a person.

She killed Eun Jo and her dad.

All... All I did was drug Eun Jo's juice.

Ha Ra made me do it to kill the baby...

in Eun Jo's womb.

She called Eun Jo out for a supposed bachelorette party.

Ha Ra planned all of this.

I don't want to hear it! Stop!

No. That can't be! Ha Ra wouldn't never!

You have to listen.

This security video is proof.

Check with Ha Ra. Ask if this is a prank.

You're saying all of this is true?

Yes, it's true.

Okay, then. I'll tell you my demands now.

Forget the 50 million dollars...

that my dad lost.

Launch DDM Venus without any problems.

I'm DDM Queen.

I can do it.

And please make sure I can keep using my office...

as I have been doing until now.

I'll take this...

since it's my lifeline.

Ha Ra said...

you'll kill me if I show this to you.

But if anything happens to me,

someone else will release this.

So Mother,

don't even think about killing me.

I won't go down alone.

I'll die with Ha Ra, if anything.

It can't be. No. No...

Ma'am! Ma'am!

At least I didn't tell her that Ga Heun is Eun Jo.

She'd completely lose it if she knew that.

Mother, I'll at least let you live.

We need to talk.

What is it?

Let go!

You know what this is, right?

This is blood. What is this?

Why is there blood here?

Whose blood do you think it is?

You made Wook Do do this to Sun Hyuk.

This... This is Sun Hyuk's blood?

Eun Jo. It's true I asked him to do something about Sun Hyuk,

but I didn't tell him to kill him.

It's true.

Do you want the world to know that I'm Eun Jo?

Is that it?

Then I'll grant you your wish.

No. Please don't.

I'm begging you. Don't.

But you let Wook Do hurt Sun Hyuk?

Didn't Ha Ra tell you our rules of war?

I was wrong. I'm so sorry, Eun Jo.

Listen carefully.

I still remember clearly how you stood there...

and just watched...

as Star and I died on that bridge.

The way you treated my mom and Eun Gyul...

like parasites for the past five years...

is lodged deep in my heart.

Do you think...

my revenge ends with getting back what your dad stole from us?

I know you want to take revenge on me.

I haven't come forward as Eun Jo...

out of consideration for you.

But if you do this again, I won't be so considerate.

I'm sorry.

I won't let him touch Sun Hyuk again.

Ms. Hwang. What's wrong with Se Rin?

Did something happen?

It's none of your business.

It's none of my business?

What? Is this another secret?

Was Se Rin involved with Sun Hyuk's attack?

Was she?

- I said it's none of your business. - Why not?

Sun Hyuk is hurt.

What exactly are you hiding?

Okay, Bo Mi.

It's such a relief that it wasn't worse.

I'll go later after we close up.

Take good care of him.

Hi, Soon Jung. Can I get some food?

- You're not allowed in here! - Hey.

Get out of here now!

- How dare you come here? - Wait.

Wait. Come on.

I still have a gift certificate...

from when this place first opened.

Gosh. Seriously.

Soon Jung. Don't you need to hire some help?

Last time I checked, the ingredients are quite heavy.

And there are men who will be disrespectful...

because there are only women here.

Gosh. I went all over the place looking for a job,

but it's not easy at my age.

Competition is too fierce for security guard jobs.

Cleaning companies only want people with experience.

I don't know how people survive.

This is why I should've picked up a skill.

All I have is my strength.

Do you think it's easy to get a job?

Get out. Get out now.

Ma'am! The ingredients you've ordered are here.

Stop that, Soon Jung. Gosh.

I'll bring these into the kitchen.

Hey.

What's wrong with him?

Seriously.

Slowly.

Flex your abs.

Okay.

Even if you can move your legs, you need strength in your core...

so that you can get into a wheelchair.

I will get up for Ha Jun. I swear I will.

Of course. You're doing great.

- You're doing really great. - Ms. Geum is home!

Why is the evil witch home at this hour?

I'll go out and check.

What happened to you?

You look as pale as a ghost. What shocked you this much?

She won't say what happened.

Everyone out.

I want to be alone, so get out both of you!

Your daughter, Ha Ra, killed a person.

She killed Eun Jo and her dad.

All... All I did was drug Eun Jo's juice.

Ha Ra made me do it to kill the baby...

in Eun Jo's womb.

My dear Ha Ra...

killed Eun Jo.

She killed Eun Jo's baby and her dad too.

No.

Your baby will know...

what you're doing.

You'll have a child just like you...

and get back what you've done to me.

What Na Yeon said came true.

I'm getting back...

what I did to her.

Ha Ra saw everything I did when I was pregnant with her...

and learned from it.

Honey.

Why won't you wake up?

Do you know how scared I was when I heard...

what happened to you?

I felt like my entire world...

had collapsed.

All sorts of thoughts ran through my head as I drove over.

We had so many good memories.

I felt like I would never see you again...

while we were going through a divorce.

Then I realized...

that we should try again...

once you wake up.

I really can't live without you.

I guess the shock was too much...

for Ha Ra, don't you?

Her being like that is even more shocking.

Look at her mumbling, carried away by her emotions.

She has been at it for hours.

Sure. She is a bit extreme...

even if I say so.

She really scares me.

She's a total psycho.

She's a psycho, but it's okay.

I, Yoon Cho Shim, think Ha Ra is okay.

Yes. She's good to Sun Hyuk,

so that much is okay.

- Mom. - Yes?

- Are you okay? - I'm okay.

I'm okay.

- Babe. - Gosh. My son.

My son.

Hey.

Babe. Are you awake now?

I can't live without you.

I'll be better. Okay?

Let's start over.

- Let go. - Hey.

Ha Ra. Why are you here?

Sun Hyuk, I called her. It was me.

You're still legally married after all.

You're not divorced yet.

And who can stop a wife...

from taking care of her husband?

I was against it.

Get rid of her. Tell her to get lost.

- Mother, Bo Mi. - Yes?

Will you please excuse us?

I need to talk to Ha Ra.

Okay.

You know,

I really don't think...

Ha Ra will let him go.

My gosh. Look at her clinging onto him...

all by herself again.

It won't be easy to get a divorce.

Then I'll make it happen.

I won't let his life be ruined even more because of that psycho.

Why did he have to get ensnared by a psycho like her?

Must that psycho's face be the first thing he sees...

when he wakes up after being attacked?

What choice did we have? She wouldn't let us go near him...

and stuck next to him...

until he woke up.

Forget this. I'll go in and tell that witch...

to leave my brother alone.

Hey. Don't bother.

Your brother is having a hard enough time as is.

- Let's go. - Darn it.

Honey.

You've got the wrong idea.

You don't think I hired Wook Do to do this to you, do you?

I don't care whether or not you hired him.

Seeing as that man Na Wook Do did this to me,

it's clear that you hired him to do something...

that you don't want me to know.

What is it that I can't find out?

There's no such thing.

What I told you last time was everything.

Stop lying to me.

What is it that I can't find out?

There really isn't anything like that.

It involves Ga Heun, doesn't it?

Or does it involve Eun Jo?

Eun Jo?

What do you mean?

Then why were you two talking about Eun Jo?

Honey.

Sun Hyuk woke up.

You don't have to worry anymore.

Thanks.

My pleasure.

I'll stop by the hospital after work.

Okay.

(President Oh Ha Jun)

That's right.

I forgot about this.

Ms. Hwang is Ko Eun Jo?

Is it because they look alike?

Why did she write this?

(Reform Private Detective)

A private detective?

Did Ha Ra hire a private detective?

(Reform)

How may I help you?

(Ko Eun Jo? Fake Ga Heun is Hwang Ga Heun)

I came because of this.

Do you know anything about this?

This is Wook Do's handwriting.

Wook Do?

- Na Wook Do? - Yes.

He wrote it while thinking about the job Oh Ha Ra requested.

What did Ha Ra request?

Who are you, anyway?

I'm her brother.

I see.

The president of Jewang Group.

Oh Ha Ra came not long ago and asked our boss...

to find the person on this note.

Something about finding the real Hwang Ga Heun.

We're working hard to find her.

Ha Ra hired Na Wook Do...

to find the real Hwang Ga Heun because the current one is fake?

Are you here to see how my husband is doing?

Bo Mi said he was awake, so I came to see if he was okay.

I told you Sun Hyuk is still my husband.

Didn't you hear me?

Stop overstepping your bounds.

You're the one who broke our rules of war first.

I...

did not.

We need to talk.

Sun Hyuk. Na Wook Do was the one who attacked you, wasn't he?

How did you know that?

Did you catch him?

No, we didn't.

I don't know how to explain this.

I'll tell you in person.

Say what you want.

I told you, I wasn't the one who sent Wook Do.

Ha Ra. You are pretty much Se Rin's accomplice.

You used Se Rin to kill Star and me.

And you stopped my dad from getting his insulin shot.

Do you have proof?

Do you?

I'm the proof.

Living proof.

Since I'm Eun Jo.

(Hwang Ga Heun is Ko Eun Jo!)

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

Ga Heun is Eun Jo.

Your late first love, Ko Eun Jo.

You...

Whatever you did,

I'm on your side.

Se Rin. Why did you do that to Eun Jo's father?

If it weren't for Ha Ra...

Was Ha Ra there too?

Those parasites. I need to teach Se Rin a lesson.

Were you involved in some way with Oman Group's president?

Oh Byung Gook. The man whom you led to his death...

Sun Hyuk. If your angelic first love,

Eun Jo, were to come back to life,

what would you do?
