(FN) LOVE AND REDEMPTION

(FN) EPISODE 53

The Snow Lingzhi?

Si Feng!

Look at the Snow Lingzhi!

It has matured!

Si Feng, you will be saved!

Xuan Ji,

I told you I wasn't that unlucky.

You...

You can rest at ease now.

Silver Snake!

Silver Snake!

Silver Snake! Wake up!

Wake up!

Is the thunderous calamity over?

Your blood contract has been terminated.

The thunderous calamity has passed as well.

You're free now.

-I'm free now? -Yes.

-You're free now. -I'm free now?

Master!

No!

Snow Lingzhi!

Si Feng! What should we do without the Snow Lingzhi?

Si Feng, how can I save you?

Si Feng, I want you to stay alive!

Si Feng!

-I'm fine. -Master will die?

What's going on?

Tell me!

Yu Si Feng,

you couldn't kill me.

You're going to die in front of me instead.

What a funny turn of events.

Yuan Lang?

Yes.

I'm the only one who wishes to send you to an early grave.

It's all thanks to your stupid spirit beast.

Thanks to her, my plan went smoothly.

-What do you mean? -What do I mean?

I knew from the start that

Yu Si Feng was waiting for the Snow Lingzhi to be matured.

That's why I lured you into my plan.

Actually, you don't need to feed the moths with Lingzhi at all.

But if they consume Lingzhi,

they'll feed on Lingzhi once they become moths.

This rare Snow Lingzhi which only grows around the Glacial Pool,

the moths will detect it even from 100 miles away.

And once they consume it,

there'll be no way to save Yu Si Feng.

You think you're that lucky?

You think you could find the moths vital in terminating the contract

by just exploring the huge Demon Citadel?

The book even told you how to feed it, you know?

It's all because my powers haven't recovered.

I couldn't seek revenge by myself.

That's why I placed the lure there.

I didn't expect a dumb spirit beast like you to fall for it

and become my weapon.

Die!

General, you're so fierce.

It's a pity my real body isn't here. You can't hurt me.

Chu Xuan Ji,

I know you want to abandon your identity as the God of War

and you want to live with Yu Si Feng.

It's a pity that you can't escape your fate.

Not just me, the entire heavens won't let you off.

I'll kill every one of you then!

Until you regret your actions!

Chu Xuan Ji, you don't need to be angry.

Isn't helping Yu Si Feng to survive this ordeal

the most important thing now?

Xuan Ji.

Xuan Ji.

Just let him go.

Just accompany me

for the rest of my days.

Don't waste your time

on unnecessary feuds.

No! If you die,

I don't want to live.

Silly girl.

Besides me,

you still have

your father,

your sister and the rest.

How could you abandon them?

No matter what happens to me

in this lifetime,

I'm content.

Because

I know

I am always

in your heart.

I have no regrets

in this life.

Xuan Ji.

You need to

take care of yourself.

Actually, it's too early for you to say your goodbyes.

Yu Si Feng may still survive.

What?

Although the divine weapon are draining his life,

there's a way to save him.

You need to unseal the Jade Cup and revive Star of Mosha.

The divine weapons are a part of Star of Mosha all along.

If you revive Star of Mosha and he absorbs divine weapons,

Yu Si Feng will be saved.

God of War,

it all depends on your choice.

Yuan Lang!

Don't sprout nonsense!

You'll know whether I'm lying

if you think about it.

I don't need to say much.

God of War, it all depends on you

whether to save him or not.

Farewell.

Xuan Ji, don't believe him.

Yuan Lang is trying to trick you.

Master, I was wrong!

I didn't do this on purpose!

I didn't know that this was his plan!

Please don't abandon me!

Please don't abandon me!

Silver Snake.

I'm not your master anymore.

The blood contract has been terminated.

You don't need to kneel before me.

Now,

I don't have much time left.

I just want to...

I want to

spend my remaining time

with Xuan Ji.

You should leave.

Xuan Ji,

Silver Snake

was deceived.

This is

my fate.

We don't need to blame anyone else.

Let's go.

Let's go.

Master!

Stop following us.

If you follow us,

I'll show you no mercy.

Xuan Ji!

Let me help.

Come.

This is Vermilion Bird's blood fog. Xuan Ji,

the thunderous calamity has attracted the Four Sacred Beasts.

First, it's Yuan Lang.

Now, it's the Four Sacred Beasts.

Why are they pursuing us?

Why can't they just let Si Feng and I lead a peaceful life?

I don't care who comes,

I'll defeat all of them!

Flying Snake, take care of Si Feng for me.

Show yourself!

So, it's the God of War?

Long time no see.

Why are you so angry?

Is it because my song

wasn't good enough for you?

I've tried my best to tolerate your actions.

Why are you still trying to force me?

You should know the best whether Si Feng is Star of Mosha or not.

Why is the heavens still pursuing him?

General, seems like you're mistaken.

We're not trying to pursue Yu Si Feng.

God of War, we're trying to pursue you.

Me?

I've experienced ten tribulations in ten lifetimes. I'm not the God of War anymore.

Why are you pursuing me?

God of War, we came here to arrest you

under King Bailing's order. You better cooperate with us.

If not,

innocent people will be harmed,

and I know you don't wish to see that.

Thank you for the reminder,

but I'm not interested in the heavens.

I won't follow you back.

General,

seems like you care about him very much.

But he's annoying to me.

Why don't you let me destroy him with my blood fog?

So that it'll be more interesting!

Stinky woman, let me help you.

Flying Snake, what do you mean by this?

We're your peers in the heavens.

It's fine if you don't want to help us,

but are you trying to betray us?

I just don't like it when you are trying to bully her as she's alone!

We from the heavens...

Us from the heavens need to obey justice and righteousness.

You can't just bully her as she's alone.

-I won't stand for it. -She's the God of War.

She's not a random demon.

You want us to fight her fairly? That's digging our own grave!

Flying Snake, are you acting like this because you're drunk?

Black Tortoise,

don't you understand?

He's doing this on purpose.

It's obvious that he wants to go against us.

Lord Flying Snake,

I heard long ago that you were tamed by the God of War.

At first, I didn't believe it.

But, judging by this situation,

it seems that it wasn't just a rumor.

Nonsense!

I... It's because I get along well with her! That's why

I take her as my subordinate!

I won't stand for it if you bully my subordinate!

Flying Snake, capturing her is King Bailing's order.

I can ignore everything you've done,

but if you fight us today, it means that you're going against his order.

Have you thought it through? Are you trying to disobey King Bailing?

King Bailing?

Naturally, I respect him.

But I can't just leave Xuan Ji in the lurch!

If you touch Xuan Ji, I'll fight until the end!

You ignorant imbecile!

We'll capture you as well! Prepare for your punishment!

You are trying to bully me as well?

Flying Snake, you're a heavenly officer.

You shouldn't join this fight.

Let's fight then! Stop wasting time!

-Come on! -Be obedient!

Be obedient?

Why? I'm not your spirit beast!

Thank you, Flying Snake.

But

I won't put you in a plight.

Come on.

So, it was you?

Today, we'll settle our debts once and for all!

Ninth Heaven Fire!

This is as close as we can get.

No. I'm sure someone released the blood fog on purpose.

Si Feng...

He's hurt.

What if he's in danger?

Yan Ran.

The blood fog is dangerous. You'll die if you inhale it.

That's fine.

I was supposed to die anyway.

I want to save Si Feng.

You don't need to follow me.

I can go by myself.

Yan Ran.

You and I are the same.

You can't forget him,

and I can't forget you.

I've promised to see this through with you.

If you want to die,

I'll die with you.

So...

Don't blame me if you die.

Silly girl,

this is not how you should die.

Now, there is no wind,

yet the blood fog is floating around.

Seems like it's following the direction of the Southern Seven Stars.

If I'm not mistaken,

the path

should be over there.

Set up the Sacred Beasts Formation!

Yan Ran!

Silver Snake, how do you feel?

Little Beauty,

were they strong?

Why were you so angry at them?

They're mediocre.

They're using the Sacred Beasts Formation

to buy time.

Which one of you

hurt my Little Fox?

Come out!

-I'll get even for her! -Let's go!

The Sacred Beasts are quick in escaping, huh?

Si Feng!

Master!

Master!

Yan Ran!

-Master! -Yan Ran, look at me.

-How do you feel? -Where's Master?

Where's Master?

I'll bring you to him.

Silver Snake!

Master!

Master!

I'm here.

Silver Snake,

why were you hurt?

Master,

are you alright?

I'm really sorry.

I can only offer my life to atone for my sin.

Please don't hate me,

okay?

I've never hated you.

Close your eyes.

I'll treat your wound.

No need.

I can't last for long.

Master,

can I lie on your hand?

Just like the past?

I always thought that

if I regain my freedom

one day,

I can become a real human.

And I can pester you

just like Chu Xuan Ji.

I can do everything

she does.

But now, I finally understand.

I'm really naive.

The more I try to imitate her,

the further you are from me.

Chu Xuan Ji.

I will die soon.

No one will talk bad about you in the future.

I'm sure you're happy, right?

Silver Snake.

I know you treat

Si Feng as the most important person

in your life.

And I know you did everything for his sake.

So, Silver Snake,

I'm very sad.

I'm really sad.

You cultivators

speak beautiful lies.

I don't believe you.

Master,

how great would it be

if I'm a cultivator like you

in my next life?

Forget it.

Actually, to me,

staying as a little snake

and stay by your side

forever

is a good thing as well.

Master,

I'm so tired.

Can I take a nap?

Just for a little while.

Master,

please don't wake me up.

Silver Snake.

Silver Snake.

Although you're my spirit beast,

we're mere friends.

Why did you insist on

achieving the impossible?

Why can't you

take a look at the person who's beside you all the time?

Ruo Yu,

where are you going?

Yan Ran had a harsh life.

I'll send her to West Coast.

That's the place where we first met.

She'll rest in peace

over there.

Wait.

Si Feng!

-Your body! -I'm fine.

Let me send her off.

Master, I'm your spirit beast.

I'll follow you wherever you go.

I'm your master. If I die, you'll have nowhere to go.

Master, please don't die!

If she dares to hurt you,

I will never let her off!

The Loveless Curse is triggering!

Master, please don't hurt yourself!

If you hurt yourself, I can only commit suicide to atone for my sin!

I don't want to terminate our blood contract!

I know my fault now!

I really do!

Master, I promise that I won't hurt Chu Xuan Ji again!

You mustn't hurt yourself!

And you mustn't abandon me!

I'll follow you forever!

I will never leave you and I will protect you forever!

In your eyes,

I'm only a spirit beast.

I disobeyed your command because I didn't want you to get hurt.

Because I only have you in my heart.

I was always beside you. Can't you just take a look at me?

If you think this is too tough,

you may leave me.

Fine.

You'll regret this.

Just you wait. I'll find a way to terminate our blood contract.

Si Feng,

thank you for sending her off.

I'm sure she would be happy if she knows.

Si Feng.

Brother Liu.

Does your wound still hurt?

The wound is nothing.

I stole the celestial eye in the first place.

It's fine if they want to take it back.

I'm just worried about Yu'er.

She was implicated because of me.

I don't even know where she is right now.

I told them to come at me for my misdeeds!

I will make them give me an explanation!

Those dogs in from the heavens are too much!

I just wanted to lead a peaceful life!

Yet they're coming for us!

I'll destroy every single one of you!

Wu Zhi Qi, we were just hurt.

We'll be fine after some rest.

Don't be so angry.

Moreover, you said I was ugly, right?

This is better. I can train for a few hundred years

and take on the appearance that you like.

How is this better?

I'll make the call whether you change your appearance or not!

They have no right to interfere!

-Ting Nu. -Ting Nu.

How's Si Feng?

He's very weak, and his qi was damaged.

I'm afraid he can't withstand the power of divine weapons anymore.

How much time does he have?

Even if he's lucky,

he'll survive for one month at most.

Ting Nu, although the Snow Lingzhi is gone,

are there any similar herbs or grasses in the world?

There are so many great herbs in this world.

Don't tell me all of them are useless?

Just like you, I want to save Si Feng too.

But the divine weapons aren't from the mortal realm.

His body can't stand it if he absorbs them by force.

We can't do anything about it.

Don't tell me Little Phoenix has to face

the same fate again?

No.

There's another way.

Ting Nu.

If I unseal the Jade Cup and revive Star of Mosha,

Star of Mosha will absorb divine weapons,

and Si Feng will be saved, am I right?

That's possible.

But once Star of Mosha is revived,

the three realms will be plunged into chaos!

That's right, Xuan Ji.

Star of Mosha is a violent and cruel entity.

If you revive him, everyone else will die!

Yes. If the three realms are plunged into chaos,

the lines between immortals and humans will be blurred.

And everything will be too late by then.

Si Feng.

Here.

Have some soup.

I'm really lucky.

I have someone

to feed me

If you like it,

I can feed you every day.

Doesn't that make me useless?

But judging by your condition,

you're useless indeed.

Don't worry, Si Feng.

You'll get better soon.

Xuan Ji.

Are you trying to revive the Star of Mosha?

Are you trying to unseal the Jade Cup?

That's the only way I can save you.

This is Yuan Lang's trick.

You mustn't believe him.

Yes.

I know Yuan Lang is trying to revive the Star of Mosha.

But I can save you with this method as well.

If you do revive Star of Mosha,

the mortal realm

may be pushed into

an endless sea of torment.

I know that.

But that's just a possibility.

I don't know what exactly will happen

once the Star of Mosha is revived,

but I know that you will die

if I don't unseal the Jade Cup.

Don't worry.

I'm the God of War.

I've recovered my powers.

I defeated Star of Mosha 1,000 years ago

and sealed him into the Jade Cup.

And now,

for your sake, I can defeat him

and seal him again.

I won't let him wreak havoc in the world.

No.

You won't be able to seal him away.

Don't you believe in me?

Xuan Ji,

it's not that I don't believe in you.

But everything is uncertain.

If you fail,

the Star of Mosha will be revived, the three realms will be plunged into chaos.

Your father, Shaoyang Sect,

Min Yan and Ling Long,

everything around us will be engulfed

by the hatred of Star of Mosha.

What can we do by then?

What else can we do?

We've missed out on too many things.

Si Feng, I just wish that we can live together

and grow old together.

Xuan Ji,

that's

my wish as well.

But as a human,

I wish to live without guilt.

If the three realms are plunged into chaos because of me,

I will be the biggest sinner.

Even if I live, I will never live in peace.

Xuan Ji,

promise me.

Promise me that you'll never do it.

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

I promise you! Please don't move!

You mustn't exert your body! I promise you!

Okay?

Xuan Ji.

Let's cherish our remaining days.

With you by my side,

I have no regrets now.

But Si Feng, I still need to return to Shaoyang Sect.

My father's birthday is arriving.

Ling Long has prepared a banquet for him.

She knows that I've found you.

She wants us to return together.

And...

There's another important thing

that I must do.

Marry me.

But I don't have much time left.

Won't this

ruin your future?

I won't marry anyone else

besides you.

So, no matter how much time you have left,

I want to leave no regrets behind,

just like you.

So, you must promise me that you'll marry me.

I promise you.

I promise you.

Greetings, King Bailing.

Flying Snake,

seems like you've been leading a carefree life.

I don't dare to do so.

You don't dare to do so?

You came to the mortal realm without permission.

And now, you're turning against the heavens.

-This is bad. -You're too daring for your own good.

My king, please listen to my explanation.

No need for that.

I'll give you one day to return to the heavens.

If not, I'll strip you of your powers and charge you with treason.

The longer you delay this,

the heavier the punishment your servants will get.

You better know what's good for you.

So delicious.

Why are you acting so nice today? You even prepared food for me.

I bought the buns from a distant town.

Save your breath. Just eat.

Just tell me what's going on.

Xuan Ji,

please think of a way to terminate our contract.

Or just grant me permission

to leave forever.

I'm going to leave.

You don't have a fever. Why are you speaking nonsense?

Stop pretending.

Didn't you say that you'll allow me to leave whenever I want to?

But Flying Snake, why are you leaving right now?

Did I make you upset?

Is it because there is no delicious food here?

Or is it because there are no fights over here?

I'm a heavenly officer.

I can leave whenever I feel like it!

I don't want to be your spirit beast anymore.

You're lying. We've been through thick and thin together.

And you didn't say you want to leave.

Why are you...

Is it because you know why the heavens is pursuing me?

I don't know!

What? You think I'm happy when I'm with you?

I have to obey your command! They even said I'm a spirit beast!

You recalled me in front of the Four Sacred Beasts!

Have you ever thought of my feelings? I have my own pride, you know?

I had enough!

Just tell me the reason you're upset with me!

Why are you trying to terminate our contract? It's upsetting, you know?

You're a heartless person in the first place. Why would you be upset?

-You! -I don't want to be your spirit beast.

-You better let me leave! -You!

Did you forget how we made our pact?

So what if you defeat me?

I'm unhappy now!

You shouldn't force me to be your spirit beast!

If you're unhappy with me, just turn me into ashes!

If not, you better let me leave!

You can die alone if you want to!

It's hard for me to obtain this position.

I don't want to die with you!

Fine! You want to leave?

Leave now! I grant you my permission!

No matter what happens to me in the future,

it has nothing to do with you!

Great! I'm free now!

By the way, stinky woman,

I need to tell you one last thing.

You mustn't unseal the Jade Cup.

You'll regret it.

It won't matter to you since you're leaving anyway!

You!

That's right.

Both of us are stubborn.

My goodness.

-This is the end. -Leave now!

I will never acknowledge you even if you return!

Fine.

We'll go on our

separate paths.

That little snake belongs to the heavens in the first place.

If he stays,

he'll make it difficult for everyone.

It's the best choice for him to leave now.

I know that.

I just can't bear to part with him.

Enough already. You're making me uncomfortable with this.

We need to discuss our next plan.

Wu Zhi Qi.

Do you know the reason the heavens is pursuing me?

You went to the heavens before.

Do you know why?

I think it may be connected

to your meeting with King Asura.

The time when you stole divine weapons and lured me to the Demon Citadel?

Yes.

God of War,

you murdered me.

With my last breath,

I leave you a huge gift!

You better take a good look

at the secrets hidden within King Bailing's hall!

You deserved all of this!

About the paintings within Demon Citadel,

I don't remember them.

I didn't see them when I went to Demon Citadel last time.

What exactly is King Bailing hiding?

Why did the God of War pursue him after

she returned from Demon Citadel?

While I was in the Mirror of Origin,

I think I saw an argument between God of War and King Bailing.

She suffered a huge injustice.

She said the heavens used her.

And she wanted to destroy the heavens.

After that, she was sent to the Altar of Banishment.

But I couldn't see the entire situation clearly.

I think the heavens

is hiding secrets about the God of War.

I think all of them

are connected to the Jade Cup and Star of Mosha.

You see, the heavens

didn't pursue you for so many years.

But after the attack on Shaoyang Sect, after the Jade Cup was disturbed,

they hurt Little Fox and took back Liu Yi Huan's celestial eye.

Now, they send the Four Sacred Beasts after you.

I think all of them are connected somehow.

I won't offend them

if they don't offend me.

Seems like I need to get to the bottom of this.

And I need to unseal the Jade Cup no matter what.

That's the only way I can save Si Feng.

Have you decided?

Wu Zhi Qi, you must help me once I return to Shaoyang.

Don't worry. I'm glad

to be of assistance.

Flying Snake is gone.

If you can't get over him...

It's fine. He's heartless.

It's better for him to stay in the heavens.

Si Feng.

We can ask for my father's permission once we return to Shaoyang.

And we can be together forever after that.

Xuan Ji.

Listen to me.

In my current state,

I'm afraid that

I will leave you soon.

And it may

ruin your future.

Si Feng,

we've been through so many ordeals.

Don't you understand?

I've recovered my six senses.

I've thought it through.

I will only be happy if I stay with you.

Are you going to meet your father like this?

Do I look ugly?

I've spent a long time to doll myself up, you know?

Take out your accessories.

Si Feng,

I want you to draw my eyebrows every day

after we get married.

Okay.

I'll draw them for you every day.

Si Feng,

you even know how to draw eyebrows?

This is my first time drawing them for others.

I'm not an expert yet.

But I'll improve gradually.

-Don't move. -It's itchy.

It'll end up badly if you move.

I'm almost done.

Si Feng,

my father always told me this when I was young.

He drew my mother's eyebrows for her when I was young.

It's different

for your father and mother.

Mister Yi,

where are you going?

I have something to attend to.

I need to leave.

Will you return?

No.
