(FN) LOVE AND REDEMPTION

(FN) EPISODE 38

Xuan Ji!

Xuan Ji.

You put your trust on the wrong person.

But now that you've realized it,

it's still not too late.

-Master, this is bad! -What happened?

Wu Tong attacked us with the demons of Sky Hall.

Ling Long and Min Yan have been surrounded.

Wu Tong is a scum!

Explain to them that you are not a demon, Si Feng.

Si Feng.

I'm sorry.

Leave!

I don't want to see you anymore!

Wu Tong, Sky Hall.

I'm going to kill these demons!

God of War defied her superiors and started a rebellion.

Bring her to the Altar of Banishment at once.

You Asuras have defied the heavens.

Die now!

Xuan Ji?

It's you?

What happened to Xuan Ji?

Her God of War's power has awakened.

Xuan Ji.

At this time?

Those useless demons from Lize Palace can't even defeat you?

Wu Tong.

Today,

I'm going to

turn you into dust!

I already know that you are God of War from the heavens.

I put in so much effort to find the scales of Candle Dragon from Mount Buzhou.

The scales of Candle Dragon can withstand holy power.

It's specially used against it.

Now, I've made them into a shield.

I want to see how powerful you are.

Scales of Candle Dragon?

I never thought that the things I used before

will be used against me now.

Not only the things you've used before are used to fight you,

even your lover, Yu Si Feng, is against you.

Fine.

Today,

I'll kill every demon

that is here right now.

Ninth Heaven Fire!

Get into your formation.

There's a cave there. Let's get in!

-Follow me! -Take shelter!

-Xuan Ji. -Master.

-Let's go. -Let's go.

Let's go now.

Retreat!

Hurry up.

Ling Long.

Xuan Ji is too powerful. She's a monster!

What nonsense are you talking about? Xuan Ji is protecting us.

She is the God of War who had once killed demons and monsters.

Haven't you heard of that?

Xuan Ji, stop now!

-Hao Chen! -Hao Chen!

Xuan Ji!

Enough, Xuan Ji! The demons have retreated.

Stop hurting others.

Xuan Ji.

Xuan Ji!

Xuan Ji. What's wrong with her?

Sect Leader, I think she's fine. But Ninth Heaven Fire is very powerful.

We have to send her back and get rid of this pure fire.

Alright. Hurry up.

Hurry up.

Don't worry. Xuan Ji will be fine.

Ling Long.

What's wrong?

I'm fine.

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

-Si Feng, don't go! -Let go of me!

Si Feng.

Si Feng.

Si Feng.

Si Feng.

Si Feng.

Si Feng.

Si Feng, didn't you say that

you'll take care of yourself

so that you won't get hurt?

Si Feng.

You said that you'll be with me and never leave me.

Si Feng.

Si Feng!

Xuan Ji.

You had a bad dream.

I...

I dreamed about Si Feng.

I already told you that

demons are cunning.

You can't trust them.

In order to revive Star of Mosha

and disrupt the three realms,

nothing is too extreme for them.

Pretending to be kind

and acting selfless

are just tricks they use to appeal to you.

It's fake.

Everything is just a trick?

Of course.

Yu Si Feng has never treated you sincerely.

He approached you since the beginning

to get close to the secret ground

to find out what is sealed inside it.

He approached you because you are the daughter of Shaoyang Sect.

He approached you because you are innocent, kind and

put up no defense against others.

When he found out that you can wield Dingkun Sword,

he guessed that you are the God of War.

God of War is the demon clan's biggest enemy.

So, he advanced on you gradually

to get close to you and soften you.

Then, he made you fell in love with him

so that you can't leave him.

Then, he can easily affect your feelings

so that you'll lose the will to protect the three realms

or even work for the demon clan.

Everything he did

is to make you waver

and use you.

I didn't want you to go to the real world for your trial back then

because you are kind

and can't distinguish between good and evil.

I never thought that

you'd still fall into the trap of demon clan.

Now, you've finally realized the truth.

Just think of it as a test for you in this life.

I'll stay by your side

and help you pass this trial

in order for you to become a deity.

A deity?

You are the God of War.

You belong to the heavens.

Of course you have to go back in the end.

Forget it.

Have a good rest.

I'll go out first.

Si Feng.

Si Feng will be fine.

Si Feng.

Xuan Ji.

Ling Long.

Do you still think of me as your sister?

Dummy, why won't I?

You'll always be my sister.

Don't think too much, okay?

Tell me.

Was Si Feng

sincere towards me?

Xuan Ji.

Demons are never sincere.

People from Lize Palace are always wearing masks.

Everything we saw are fake.

You still remember what happened to

Uncle Dong Fang, right?

Sixth Senior.

Si Feng

was not sincere towards me?

Is everything fake?

Si Feng is a demon.

And he indeed lied to us.

But he risked his life so many times for us.

And he even gave up his life to save you.

So, I think that Si Feng must be

sincere towards you.

Are you trying to get Xuan Ji killed?

Don't listen to him, Xuan Ji.

Yu Si Feng is 12 Feathers Rose Gold Bird and the first disciple of Lize Palace.

He must have known about Lize Palace's plan to attack Dianjinggu.

If he was sincere towards you,

he wouldn't keep quiet and just watch while our sects

bled to death.

Things have already turned out to be like this.

Xuan Ji.

Stop lying to yourself.

I have to find Si Feng and ask him in person.

You want to be tricked by him again?

I don't want to be tricked. But I have to get to the bottom of this.

Whether he was sincere or not,

I have to hear it from him.

But everyone saw it very clearly during yesterday's battle.

Lize Palace is the accomplice of Sky Hall.

Everyone who is in contact with Sky Hall

will become evil.

Even if Yu Si Feng was not evil in the past,

he's a demon now.

He is now Sky Hall's accomplice.

I won't let you be in contact with anyone from Sky Hall.

Ling Long.

I know that you are worried about me.

Si Feng is someone I care for.

I am sincere towards him.

I don't believe that he is a part of Sky Hall.

Ling Long, Xuan Ji's God of War power has awakened.

Sky Hall won't be able to hurt her.

Maybe it's better if she can talk to Si Feng

in person.

Sky Hall can't hurt her but Yu Si Feng can.

What if Sky Hall made use of Yu Si Feng?

Then, Xuan Ji will be trapped.

Have you ever considered Xuan Ji's safety by suggesting this?

Those people worked for Sky Hall because Sky Hall has something on them.

Si Feng has always been smart. He won't become someone else's puppet so easily.

May I beg for your audience?

Greetings, God of War.

Greetings, God of War!

We've committed a grave crime

by not realizing sooner that you are here, God of War.

Our valley master has ordered me to invite you and

Lord Flying Snake to stay in the main hall as a form of apology.

Don't. Just call me Xuan Ji, Elder Kou.

I...

I haven't recovered yet. Please tell valley master that

I'll visit him another time.

But Lord Flying Snake

said that you've already fully recovered.

Have you recovered already? Have you done the things I asked you to?

This minor injury is nothing to me.

You too You've recovered your power.

Now, you just need to use your power to heal.

They gave me a peach.

I can't just reject their generosity, right?

-Do you want it? -You...

God of War.

Every sect leader is waiting for your arrival.

Sect Leader Chu has been waiting a long time for you too.

Okay, I'll go with you.

God of War.

After you.

Stop right there.

The main hall is a place of discussion. Only people from a sect can enter.

You have been expelled from Shaoyang. Don't make things hard for us.

-But-- -God of War.

After you.

Xuan Ji, we'll wait for you in your room.

Go.

What is the meaning of this?

This is God of War's residence.

You can't stay here. You better wait for her in the courtyard.

I am Xuan Ji's senior. She is Xuan Ji's sister. We are not outsiders.

You've been expelled by Shaoyang.

So, you are no longer her senior.

As for her sister,

you'll just make Shaoyang look bad by staying in Shaoyang.

You better wait in the courtyard.

This young lady of Shaoyang

had a colorful past with that Wu Tong.

No wonder she can be rescued from Sky Hall.

She is not rescued. She was just saving herself.

What did you say?

Don't be so cynical.

Make yourself clear.

Forget it. Let's go.

Apologize. Or else,

don't blame me for what I'll do.

Hero Zhong, tell us then.

What should I apologize for?

Tell us about it so that we know what to apologize for.

Ling Long.

(FN) SHENJI PAVILION

Father.

Father, are you okay?

I'm fine.

Go and listen to the valley master.

During yesterday's battle,

many of us were either injured or dead.

And we lost our last spirit key.

If it wasn't for you,

Dianjinggu would've been annihilated by now.

I never thought that Sect Leader Chu's daughter will have such power.

I never thought that there will be

a deity among us.

I've been disrespectful to you.

-I've been disrespectful to you. -I...

I just found out about it as well yesterday.

My daughter was just a normal girl.

I don't know how she became like this.

This might be something that us mortals

can never understand.

No matter what, the appearance of God of War

must be a blessing from the heavens.

We invited you here today because

first, we want to thank you for what you did yesterday.

Second...

Second,

I have a request for you.

If you need me to do anything, just tell me about it.

-Valley Master Rong. -Please lead us

to destroy those demons and protect the human realm.

This...

Please lead us

to destroy those demons and protect the human realm!

Valley Master Rong, Uncle Dong Fang.

This is too sudden.

This is too great of a responsibility

for me to bear.

Please find another one to do so.

Sect Leader Chu.

If God of War doesn't agree,

we won't get up today.

Okay.

Xuan Ji.

I'll kneel down and beg you too.

What are you doing, Father?

Father, are you okay?

Why are you like this?

What's wrong, Father?

Why are you like this?

-Father. -He has been hurt by Yu Si Feng's master.

He should be resting in bed. But he's forcing himself right now.

Father.

Could it be that there's a Gu bug inside his body?

It must be because of that Rose Gold Bird. What should we do now?

No, Father.

Flying Snake!

Come and take a look at him!

Father!

Hurry up!

Father.

Isn't this the Intracavitary Sparrow? It's very common.

It feed on the organs of the host.

It'll bring the host great pain until death is a much better option.

Can he be treated?

You were once...

Since you can recognize it, it means that you know how to treat it.

-You are really-- -Hurry up!

Yes.

He can be treated.

No need to treat him. Just take that sparrow out.

Father, get up first.

Get up first.

Father.

Xuan Ji.

Take a good look.

This is how vicious and cruel the demon clan is.

This is their nature.

If we don't eradicate them, how can we bring peace to the three realms?

Xuan Ji.

-Xuan Ji. -Father.

We are not trying to force you to be our chief.

But you are our only choice.

The demons took advantage of our feelings

and planted spies

to get the upper hand.

We have all suffered serious loss.

Now, only three sects are left out of the five sects.

The loss of our sect is just a surface wound.

If this continues, I'm afraid that

we'll be divided

and we can't stand together anymore.

Xuan Ji.

You are the reincarnation of the God of War.

Within us three sects now,

you are the only one

who can lead us.

-I... -Do you understand our pains?

My child.

Just say yes.

Father.

Okay.

I agree to be the chief.

Great.

Good.

Good girl.

Good.

From today onward, we'll have a chief.

Get me the Spirit Scroll.

Everybody.

This Spirit Scroll has all the names of the disciples

who died in the hands of demons.

There's a total of 372 people.

Their bones have gone cold now.

But those demons are still roaming the earth.

Please lead us

to eradicate Sky Hall, annihilate Lize Palace

and avenge them.

Eradicate Sky Hall, annihilate Lize Palace!

Avenge them!

Avenge them!

Annihilate Lize Palace?

Yes.

Please give your order.

I...

Do you still have the illusion that Lize Palace is good?

Are you not willing to seek revenge for us?

I...

Xuan Ji has another plan. Don't misunderstand.

Sky Hall and Lize Palace are accomplices.

They have all four spirit keys now.

Then, their next step

must be reviving the Star of Mosha.

If we only think about revenge right now,

it'll just drag us down.

And we'll give them an opportunity to do so.

What do you mean then, Elder Hao Chen?

Our first priority

is to foil those demons' plan.

If they want to revive the Star of Mosha,

their last barrier

is the secret ground of Shaoyang.

So, I suggest for Shaoyang Sect to go back and protect the secret ground.

The rest will gather your people and meet us at Shaoyang.

By doing so, we can protect the secret ground together

and discuss about our plan to avenge our people.

I was thinking of

the same thing too.

Okay.

We'll let them live for a few more days then.

We'll discuss about it when we are all gathered at Mount Shaoyang.

But we know that

you are very close with the 12 Feathers Rose Gold Bird.

I hope that Shaoyang Sect can give us a promise

to stay away from that demon from now on.

Give us a peace of mind.

Valley Master Rong.

Xuan Ji has already agreed to be our chief, right?

In the past, Xuan Ji was kept in the dark too.

Now that she knows about Yu Si Feng's identity.

I believe that

the next time she meets Yu Si Feng,

she'll burn him to ashes

to avenge the people who we've lost.

(FN) LIZE PALACE

Si Feng, are you feeling better now?

This is the cure for the Loveless Curse. Eat it.

Don't make me worry about you again.

Master.

Didn't you say that there's no cure for Loveless Curse?

There's no such thing as curse without a cure.

It's just that you have to pay it with another thing.

Loveless Curse is activated based on your feelings.

This cure is for you to clear your mind.

After you eat it,

you'll forget about everything.

You'll forget about that person forever.

And your Loveless Curse will be broken.

You can't get this in the mortal world.

There's only one of this in Lize Palace.

Eat it.

I can't eat it.

And I don't want to forget about her.

You are still not willing to forget about her?

As soon as she heard that you are a Rose Gold Bird Demon,

she immediately chose to stand on their side.

Can't you see where she stands?

I am the one who lied to her first.

It's not her fault.

Lize Palace has been in peace for hundreds of years.

Master.

Do you really want to destroy it?

Another thing.

Are you really the one

who killed Xuan Ji's mother?

It's her fault for being a busybody

who wanted to take away Hao Feng from me.

In this world,

nobody can separate me and Hao Feng.

Those who forced her

and made her killed herself.

Don't they deserve to die?

I was avenging your mother!

Master.

Forget it.

Do you want to see your mother?

Si Feng.

This is your mother.

Has she

always been here?

But why

didn't you tell me about it before this?

I was waiting.

I was waiting for her to wake up

so that I can tell you everything about us.

What kind of a person

my mother is?

She is the best woman in this world.

I remember that when I first met your mother,

I was your age.

It was my first trial in the outside world.

When I saw her again,

she was seriously wounded

after a fight with someone.

I saved her and treated her wounds with care.

And we fell in love.

Is this a phoenix?

It doesn't look like one.

No.

This is a Rose Gold Bird.

Let me put it on for you.

We hid our relationship

pretty well at first.

She got pregnant.

And we were looking forward to you.

But on the day of her labor,

our old palace lord found out about it.

He rushed to us in fury

and almost killed you on the post.

After that,

he changed his mind because you inherited the 12 Feathers bloodline.

Then, he took you back to Lize Palace without a second word.

And he forced me to wear the Loveless Mask.

I was so lucky.

Your mother understood and cherished me. She had no regrets.

She didn't abandon me even when she found out that I'm a Rose Gold Bird.

Her only regret is,

you were not by her side.

Until those despicable people from the sects went looking for her.

They knew that she had a union with demon.

They forced her to tell them about my whereabouts.

In order to

protect us,

your mother...

Ever since I brought her back, every day,

I look for a way to revive her.

Now,

I finally found the way.

Si Feng.

I already gave your mother the 1000-year-old stalactite.

After she wakes up,

she'll be very happy

when she sees you.

Master.

Until now,

you still call me master.

I know.

You hate me because I didn't tell you about this earlier.

We are not allowed to have a wife and child in Lize Palace.

The old palace lord used your mother to force me

to swear an oath.

I can't tell you about this until you've become an adult.

Then,

you can go through your trial earlier

and become our clan's hope.

In this world,

there is no father who will abandon their own child.

You've always treated me very kindly.

Can you

call me father?

Forget it.

Twenty years have passed.

There's no point in forcing you.

Father.

What did you say?

Father, I've been unfilial.

I've caused you much trouble.

Hurry up and get up.

My good child.

I am

very happy.

Hao Feng, did you see that?

Our child

has grown up.

He called me father!

It's almost time.

When you wake up,

the three of us

can chat with each other

happily.

Hao Feng.

Finally, you came out, Senior.

You broke the rule by burning the Crimson Tusk by yourself.

What do you want?

Burning the Crimson Tusk means that something major is going to happen.

It's time for Lize Palace to have a new master.

Vice Palace Lord, how could you say something like that?

Vice Palace Lord is just being loyal.

Are you trying to revolt?

Guards! Take them to the Discipline Hall!

My fellow elders.

Do you want to hear me out first before making the decision?

Lize Palace's identity has already been exposed.

Lize Palace is supposed to

take preventive measures for our future now.

But my senior,

the head of this palace,

is hiding underground to accompany a dead person.

He has no care for the safety of Lize Palace. Should we change him out?

-You want to change the palace lord? -Yes.

I have the same thought too.

I'm sick of being a palace lord anyway.

I'll use this chance

to step down from my position.

Let's call for a meeting!

Si Feng.

Stand here.

I've been leading Lize Palace for 20 years.

But during these 20 years, I've been living in a state of ignorance.

No wonder someone wants me to step down from my position.

Palace Lord.

Lize Palace has been so peaceful because of you.

How can you say that you are living in a state of ignorance?

All these years, the vice palace lord is the one handling everything.

How can you say that it's all thanks to the palace lord?

You are just lying brazenly.

-Elder He! -Enough.

I know myself the best.

Stop arguing.

I'm sick of being a palace lord already.

It's time to hand over Lize Palace to someone with a clear mind.

Listen to my order, Yu Si Feng.

From today onward,

you'll be the new lord of Lize Palace.

I'll hand over the palace lord's Gold Feather Medallion

to you.

The Crimson Tusk is burning and I've already passed down my decree.

You are the successor of the 12 Feathers bloodline.

No one else comes from a better bloodline than yours.

I'm passing down the Gold Feather Medallion to you today.

You are the new lord of Lize Palace.

-Come, let's greet our new lord today. -Wait.

Junior.

I've already stepped down from my position.

What is it? You are still not satisfied?

Yu Si Feng has no rights to become the palace lord.

You are out of your mind.

We can't trust the words of a lunatic.

Are you courting death?

Why are you angry?

I know that you don't think of yourself as being crazy.

But let me ask you a question.

After giving us your answer, I'm sure that the elders will make up their mind.

What do you want to ask?

After stepping down from your position,

what are you going to do?

Hao Feng and I love each other.

Of course I'll travel far and wide with her.

Why are you laughing?

Shut up!

Where did you learn this from?

Old palace lord taught me this to defend against you.

He asked me to keep an eye on you

so that you won't lose your mind.

I'm not crazy!

Senior. If Hao Feng was still here,

she would hate you.

You love each other?

I think you've really gone crazy.

Nonsense.

Nonsense!

Senior.

I'm here.

In your mind, Hao Feng was so loyal to you and never abandoned you.

She even took down the Loveless Mask for you.

But the reality is,

she only loved you before she found out that you are a demon.
