(FN) LOVE AND REDEMPTION

(FN) EPISODE 21

Ling Long.

My good child.

Sleep now.

Sleep now.

Sect Leader Chu.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi.

Sect Leader Chu,

I felt uncomfortable after hearing about your daughter's incident.

Sect Leader Chu, you helped my sect without any second thoughts.

I'm very grateful to you.

Today, I'm willing to use the spirit key in my sect

to exchange with Ling Long's primordial spirit in order to repay your favor.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi,

you actually considered that for my daughter's sake.

Words can't express my gratitude.

Sect Leader Chu, you don't need to be too courteous.

Moreover, this concerns a person's life.

Sect Leader Chu, now,

you and I should meet Lord Dong Fang

and take the spirit key in order to save Ling Long.

But...

I think

that's unsuitable.

Sect Leader Chu, are you not willing to save your own daughter?

That's not the case.

The spirit key concerns the fate of the world.

I can't just put the world in danger

just because of my own desires.

We need to discuss this with the other three sect leaders

and come up with the best plan.

Sect Leader Chu, you're noble indeed.

I'm ashamed.

I'll follow your advice then.

Sect Leader Chu, I'm impressed by your actions.

But Ling Long's life is precious as well.

If anyone can figure out a way

to save Ling Long and protect the spirit key,

it'll be the best.

I have an idea.

But the Xuanyuan Sect may need to suffer a little bit.

If you have a solution, I'm willing to listen.

The Destiny Pearl of Xuanyuan Sect

is very hard to crack open.

If we can insert a fake spirit key inside the pearl,

we'll be able to save Ling Long

before the demons realize that it's a fake.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi, what do you think?

My sect is indebted to Shaoyang Sect.

If using the Destiny Pearl can save Ling Long's life,

I'm willing to do so.

It's just that my power hasn't recovered yet

after my encounter with Sky Hall.

I'm afraid I can't unlock the Destiny Pearl for now.

Since Sect Leader Zhu Shi is willing to hand over the treasure,

everything will be easier.

Although it's hard to crack open,

Dianjinggu Sect is an expert in unlocking items.

I believe Valley Master Rong has a way.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi, are you willing to let me crack open your treasure?

Saving her is more important. You can use it as you please.

This is great. I've always wanted to study the structure of the Destiny Pearl.

I'll show everyone the greatness of Dianjinggu Sect.

Everyone,

words can't express my gratitude.

Sect Leader Chu is just saying that out of courtesy.

He's not sincere.

Vice Palace Lord, what do you mean by that?

The other four sects have made it clear that we are protecting the spirit keys.

But only Shaoyang Sect is hiding their secret.

Does anyone know what's inside the secret ground of Shaoyang Sect?

That's why I don't believe it when you say we're working together.

Sect Leader Chu,

Vice Palace Lord is right.

Now that the demons are approaching us,

we can only work together if you tell us your secret.

Fine.

To show my sincerity,

I'll tell everyone the secret hidden within

our secret ground.

Everyone,

do you know about

the calamity, Star of Mosha?

He's the legendary demon who almost destroyed the three realms.

But he was slain by the God of War.

You're right.

But the Star of Mosha didn't disappear completely.

His core is still intact.

And it's sealed within the Jade Cup hidden in the secret ground.

What?

Xuan Ji said

Sky Hall wanted to obtain the spirit keys in order to revive the Star of Mosha.

I only thought it was a joke.

I didn't expect her words to be true.

Its power

is unimaginable to humans.

And this concerns the existence of the three realms.

That's why the Shaoyang Sect has always kept it a secret.

But everyone, don't worry.

Although its core is still intact,

there's the ancient Candle Dragon

guarding our secret ground.

The Sky Hall won't be able to act

as long as they don't have the spirit keys.

Sure.

As long as we don't lose the spirit keys.

Valley Master Rong, please think of a way then.

That's not the problem.

The problem is

the Destiny Pearl was made using a meteorite.

To unlock it, we need something with the same attribute.

That's no problem at all.

The Love Stone on Fuyu Island is a meteorite.

Valley Master Rong, you can use it if you want to.

I'm all set then.

Now, I need five people of different elements to help me out.

Okay.

Xuan Ji's element is fire.

Hao Chen's element is wood.

With another two disciples of mine,

we're all set.

Five of you, prepare for the Five Element Formation.

This is the famous Love Stone

which can show couples predestined by fate?

I think it's not working.

In our archives,

the stone did shine

on a predestined couple once.

But I haven't witnessed it for myself.

Maybe it's hard to find a couple who was predestined to be together.

Just like my loving relationship with my wife,

yet the Love Stone had never shone on us before.

Just treat it as a story.

Valley Master Rong, you may start now.

This is enough.

The Love Stone does glow red.

Just like the record in the archives.

This red glow!

Why do Senior Hao Chen and I have this red glow?

What about everyone else?

So, it's true.

Sect Leader Chu, congratulations.

Seems like Hao Chen and Xuan Ji are predestined to be together.

This is a rare sight indeed.

Sect Leader Chu, in my opinion,

you should arrange for

your second daughter's wedding after you save your eldest daughter.

Yes.

Hao Chen is my most outstanding disciple in Shaoyang Sect.

He's good enough to marry my daughter.

Moreover, this is a match made in heaven.

I'm very pleased.

I don't have any objections.

As for their wedding...

-Sect Leader. -Father! My wedding with Senior Hao Chen?

No way!

How could you decide my wedding based on a stone?

I can't marry Senior Hao Chen.

I'm sure the heavens are playing a trick on us.

This can't count.

Xuan Ji,

beware of your words.

Senior Hao Chen, you told me this yourself.

We must be very particular about our own wedding.

How could they decide my wedding based on a stone?

No way. I'll never agree to this.

This...

Why can't I get rid of it?

Xuan Ji, what are you doing?

I want to remove the red glow.

Stop fooling around.

This red glow isn't an ordinary thing.

Don't act recklessly and hurt yourself.

It's just the energy projected by the Love Stone.

It'll dissipate after some time.

It's gone now.

Sect Leader,

Junior Xuan Ji and I have always trained under you.

It's a coincidence that the Love Stone shined on both of us.

And determine our fate.

Although this is our fate,

it's too sudden for us.

And we mustn't be too casual about weddings.

Sect leaders, I would have to reject that notion.

Enough now.

They're still young.

It's common for them to be shy.

Let's just ignore them.

Yes, we should return to business.

Valley Master Rong,

please find a way to unlock the Destiny Pearl.

Everyone, don't worry.

I'll unlock the Destiny Pearl by tomorrow.

And swap the fake spirit key with the real one.

What's with the red glow?

Didn't you create the stone 100 years ago just to mess with the humans?

The red glow on a predestined couple?

How dare you play such a trick on me?

My king, I don't dare to do so! Please forgive me!

My king, why would I try to trick you?

I was thinking,

my king, maybe it's because you used your powers to save God of War,

the stone sensed your energy and reacted to it. I think that's it.

The Love Stone is an inanimate object.

It doesn't know how to change.

That's why it projected a red glow on you and Chu Xuan Ji.

A useless thing, created by a useless person.

My king, please forgive me! It's all my fault!

But

since it projected the red glow

on you and Chu Xuan Ji by accident,

have you never thought about it?

Thought about what?

Do you think I'm here just to be together with Chu Xuan Ji?

-I'm here because of--- -The three realms!

Of course you're here for the three realms.

But you're still here to help Chu Xuan Ji, right?

You want to guide the God of War back to the heavenly realm, right?

That's why, I have a suggestion.

Initially, the God of War wanted to know about the fate of her love with you.

Isn't it easier for you to guide her back

if you do grant her wish?

You've put the fact upside down.

God of War is heartless, Xuan Ji is emotionless.

She can only return to the heavenly realm by not being in a relationship.

Why should I do the opposite and make it harder for her to return?

Si Ming,

if you come up with useless ideas like these again

and create unnecessary trouble for me,

I won't let you off.

I understand.

My king, farewell.

Oh, King Bailing,

you said she's heartless and emotionless.

But you don't even understand your own feelings.

I'll write this down.

Lord Dong Fang.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi.

Valley Master Rong is ready.

Follow me.

Sure. But I need a favor

from you.

Please speak.

The island seemed to be understaffed at the moment.

It's hard to identify the demons if they sneak in right now.

Please order your disciples to return in order to strengthen our guard.

We'll be safer if we have more people guarding the island.

Okay, I'll follow your advice.

-Please. -Okay

Deactivate the Sword Trap!

-Yes! -Yes!

I've retrieved the real spirit key.

Now, we just need to insert the fake key.

The Sky Hall won't notice this.

Ling Long,

Valley Master Rong has swapped the real key with the fake key.

After that, we'll follow Father and go to their hideout.

The Sky Hall wants our spirit key.

I'm sure they will look for us.

This way, we can retrieve your primordial spirit and save Second Senior.

Don't worry.

Xuan Ji,

it's almost time now.

Let's find our sect leader.

Senior Hao Chen, Xuan Ji.

Aunt Ying Hong just passed by.

She said the Destiny Pearl is ready.

We'll move out once the disciples of Fuyu Island return here.

Let's go to the dock then.

That way, we can move out earlier.

Xuan Ji,

the disciples of Fuyu Island have just returned.

The dock is in chaos now.

I know you're in a hurry. But it won't hurt to wait.

Senior Hao Chen, Xuan Ji,

even the heavens are helping you two out.

-You two shouldn't disappoint them. -Yes.

I heard that everyone wants you two to get married.

Of course. Xuan Ji, you and Senior Hao Chen

spent a long time with each other on Xuyang Peak.

-Am I right? -Fifth Senior, don't simply speak.

I...

Si Feng? Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Si Feng, you heard everything?

I didn't want that to happen.

Actually, you don't need to explain anything.

Moreover, the Love Stone gave you two its blessing.

It didn't work even when others begged for it.

I'm sure something's wrong with the Love Stone.

I don't care even if the heavens give me their blessing. It doesn't count.

I won't marry Senior Hao Chen because of this.

You don't need to explain that much.

No matter who you're marrying,

it has nothing to do with me.

Of course I need to explain this to you.

I need to explain myself clearly to you.

I'll explain it even if you don't want to listen.

All of you think that I'm willing to do this favor

for anyone.

All of you think that I can marry anyone because of this.

But Si Feng, that's not the case.

I've thought about it for a long time. I don't just help anyone out.

I'm only doing this because of you.

I won't do this for anyone else. Not even Senior Hao Chen.

What a strong demonic scent.

Everyone, be careful!

Senior Yu Ning, there are demons!

Sound the alarm!

Master!

-What's wrong? -Demons are attacking us!

I'm sure they're here for the treasure.

Brother Dong Fang, hurry and keep the spirit key in the Treasure Vault.

Okay.

Sect Leader Zhu Shi, follow me to the dock.

We must stop their invasion!

Hurry!

Yu Ning, activate the Sword Trap!

-What about you? -There's no time!

The demons are approaching! Activate it now!

Follow me! We'll activate the Sword Trap!

They're too much! How dare they invade Fuyu Island!

It's lucky that we activated the Sword Trap. Most of them are blocked off.

Protect the eye of the formation!

They're still hanging around! I'm afraid that they're going to come

once the formation is broken.

They're using Fire Bomb!

They want to destroy the eye of the formation.

I'll help them out. We can't let them succeed!

Qing Qi!

Qing Rong, why are you here? Return now!

I'll follow you wherever you go.

This is the eye of the formation.

And the demons are approaching.

This is too dangerous. You better leave.

I'm in danger? That means you're in danger as well.

-I-- -I'm a criminal.

You've been protecting me all these years.

Without you, they'll never let me and our child stay.

So, I'd rather stay beside you and die together with you.

Qing Rong, don't say that.

I swore that I won't let you suffer anymore.

This is my pass.

The password

is the year you and I first met.

With it, you'll become the lord of the island.

No one will dare to chase you out.

Qing Qi.

Take care of yourself and the child.

Wait for my return.

Yu Ning!

Bring Madam to the back of the mountain.

Yes! Madam!

-Go now. -Let's go!

Si Feng!

Si Feng!

Uncle Dong Fang.

Since they've brought so many Fire Bombs,

I'll blast them all with their own bombs!

Xuan Ji!

Si Feng.

Are you hurt?

You're really reckless.

Where are the demons?

They're all dead.

Si Feng,

were you worried about me just now?

We're on a journey together. It's normal for me to be worried.

I thought you're ignoring me because of the Love Stone.

Si Feng, that doesn't count.

Lord Dong Fang!

Xuan Ji, what happened?

The demons were too much!

I couldn't stand it and I lit a fire.

I let them have a taste of their own medicine.

-Since I can't feel anyway. -You silly girl.

You're too reckless.

Xuan Ji, what if you hurt yourself

by doing something that reckless?

Aunt Ying Hong, please examine her body.

It's just a minor burn. She'll be fine.

You created the explosion just now, right?

You're so reckless.

Fuyu Island was saved.

Xuan Ji, you've performed well.

I'll set up a feast for you next time.

Report!

Master, we captured a demon alive.

Great. Keep him alive.

-We'll interrogate him later. -Yes.

Where's Sect Leader Zhu Shi?

He's the sect leader of Xuanyuan Sect.

Ordinary demons can't do anything against him.

Why don't you follow me to the dock

to search for remaining demons?

Hao Chen, bring your fellow disciples and follow him.

Yes.

Father, I'm sure there are demons remaining.

I caught their scent some time ago. But it's not very obvious.

But now, I can sense it clearly.

She can sense the scent of demons when she's that young?

Xuan Ji has always been sensitive towards demon's scent.

She has never been wrong.

Over there.

The Treasure Vault?

Madam, wait here. I'll take a look.

This is great!

I finally got the disc!

Qing Rong, it must've been hard for you.

For you, everything is worth it.

Let's not delay any further.

Let's unlock the vault.

We'll leave together once I obtain the spirit key.

One from Xuanyuan Sect,

and one from the hilt of the Moon Blade.

Now,

you have two spirit keys.

I'm sure they're waiting for us

at the dock.

We'll be discovered if we go there.

We won't go to the dock.

Look at this cliff.

It's connected to the back of the island.

And the Sword Trap is weak at this spot.

I've created an opening from the chaos just now.

We'll escape from there.

You're thoughtful indeed.

Qing Rong, hand over the spirit keys and the Moon Blade to me.

Both me and the treasures

will be yours when we leave.

Why are you in a hurry?

Okay.

This is bad.

They should be at the Treasure Vault now.

Let's go!

How did this happen?

Brother Dong Fang, who else can unlock the vault besides you?

Qing Rong.

Qing Rong will never do this.

I think they're still nearby. We should split up and search.

Ouyang Tong!

I've treated you well for the past four years.

Why did you betray me?

Seems like you were bewitched by the demons!

Me? Bewitched by demons?

I'm a demon myself.

You human are overestimating yourselves.

Qing Rong, let's go.

Qing Rong, what's wrong? Don't be afraid of him!

I'm here! Come over here!

Why should I go there? He's the person I love.

I'll follow him wherever he goes.

You love him?

No! You must be bewitched!

Did you forget that you cried because you didn't want me to die?

Did you forget about the child in your tummy?

The child in my tummy belongs to him and me.

Listen,

I only feel disgust

for all the things you did for me.

You're lying.

Both of you are lying!

I'm going to kill you!

You're digging your own grave!

-Lord Dong Fang! -Lord Dong Fang!

-Lord Dong Fang! -Lord Dong Fang!

Senior!

Are you okay?

He struck me with poison!

Be careful of his poison strike!

I'll kill you!

Si Feng!

I'll kill you!

Dong Fang Qing Qi,

if you want to kill him, you should kill me first!

Qing Rong, you...

The demons and the immortals will have an inevitable war.

If you human want to interrupt us,

you should be prepared for your death.

I, the Wolf, will remember

what you did to me.

Let's go!

Qing Rong!

Xuan Ji, don't chase after them!

But they took away the spirit keys! I need to get them back!

Xuan Ji, even the two sect leaders can't defeat him.

You'll die if you go against him.

But without the spirit keys, I can't retrieve Ling Long's primordial spirit!

Just let me chase after them! We have no time!

Ling Long has lost her primordial spirit.

And now, you want me to lose another daughter?

Father, I can't just abandon Ling Long!

This battle is a major setback for us.

We mustn't waste our energy on unnecessary things now.

Father, how is saving Ling Long unnecessary?

Please don't sacrifice her!

Xuan Ji, do you think Sect Leader doesn't feel sad at all?

You should try to understand his feelings.

I'm just under an order to attack Fuyu Island.

I don't know about anything else.

Don't expect me to show you mercy.

You'll answer my questions.

If you can't answer one question, I'll cut off one finger.

Next, I'll dig out your eyes,

I'll cut out your nose and your lips.

Tell me. What are you plotting?

I'll say everything!

Our lord said that

he wants to save Wu Zhi Qi with the spirit keys.

-He has-- -What does he have?

Tell us!

He has the divine weapons, Yuntian Loop and Chehai Hook.

What are those?

In the war between demons and immortals few thousand years ago,

God of War snatched both Yuntian Loop and Chehai Hook from Star of Mosha.

And she only managed to seal his core into the Jade Cup using their powers.

As long as we obtain the Yuntian Loop and Chehai Hook,

we'll be able to unseal the Jade Cup.

And revive the Star of Mosha.

The Sky Hall had planned all this out.

Seems like they know how to revive the Star of Mosha now.

In my opinion,

we don't need to believe everything he said.

Maybe the Sky Hall is just trying to distract us.

This is a grave matter.

It's better to believe in him

rather than treat it as a ruse.

Where's the headquarters of Sky Hall?

Who is your leader? And where's Wolf?

I just joined Sky Hall not long ago.

I have a low rank.

I don't know what you are talking about!

How could we didn't notice that

Sect Leader Zhu Shi was Wolf in disguise?

There's a demon spell which can transform demons into humans by using their blood.

It's extremely hard to master.

I didn't expect

the demons to be this powerful now.

This is bad. Sky Hall knows about

the location of Star of Mosha's core now.

Now, they have two spirit keys.

If they get two more from Dianjinggu Sect and Lize Palace,

they will be able to revive Star of Mosha at any time.

I think you should calm down.

We still have two spirit keys, right?

Vice Palace Lord, you're treating this too casually.

Before this, we thought demons were stupid creatures with no intelligence.

But in reality, they're far more cunning and powerful than we thought.

One Wolf is enough to mess us up.

I don't dare to imagine the power of the entire Sky Hall.

It's time we act cautiously.

Sure.

You are right. You have a point.

So,

what should we do now?

I've sent someone to find out where Wolf is.

I hope we can find the location of Sky Hall as well.

But now, they've obtained two spirit keys.

Dianjinggu Sect and Lize Palace,

please take good care of the spirit keys.

We mustn't let the demons succeed.

I understand.

Dianjinggu Sect is filled with traps. And we haven't lost anything before.

I'll improve the security once I return.

Everyone, please don't worry.

Lize Palace is located at a very remote place.

I could even detect the presence of a fly.

The spirit key won't be taken away.

Sect Leader Chu, you should be more concerned about the secret ground.

Although I was hurt,

I managed to obtain Sect Leader Chu's blood

while I was trying to obtain the spirit keys.

This is a pleasant surprise.
