Where is that leaf of ice crystal?

What leaf of ice crystal?

Chief, stop acting.

The ice crystal is still in your hands.

Tell me how you got your hands on the ice crystal leaf.

You can get started.

The next ice crystal leaf is at The Dream Weavers.

Father wants you to retrieve it before Ka Suo does.

The Dream Weavers.

We have finally arrived at the location of the next ice crystal leaf.

The Dream Weavers' land.

[Episode 8]

Could all of their tribesmen

be sound asleep in broad daylight just like them?

Who are you?

I can't fall asleep anyway.

Come in and have a seat.

This is our first visit to The Dream Weavers.

We didn't know that your people slept during the daytime.

We're truly sorry for having disturbed everyone.

It's all right.

You're not aware that The Dream Weavers have to

stay up all night to perform divination

interpret dreams, and resolve nightmares for all three realms.

Therefore, it's only normal that we have to rest well in the day.

It's no wonder that the city seems so empty during the day.

How about this?

Stay here in my home until the sun sets.

Then you'll get to see what the city is like when it comes to life.

Please make yourselves at home.

Ka Suo, are you really fine with

having me hand over the leaf of ice crystal to Yan Da?

There's always a chance to retrieve the ice crystal.

However, only Yan Da can cure you of Heart Scorcher's poison.

I can't sacrifice you for the sake of the ice crystal.

Take the sole-leaf.

If you run into any problems

send a signal to summon me.

I'll come to you right away.

Ka Suo.

I heard from Yan Da that the remaining five leaves of ice crystal

are in the Spirit Tribe, the Bear Tribe, The Dream Weavers, and The Mermaids.

I think that they will try to

stop us from retrieving the remaining ice crystal leaves.

So far, it seems all right.

Yan Da doesn't know who I really am.

I can be your informant while serving by her side.

If I have any information, I'll notify you with the sole-leaf.

I'll use a specific music for each tribe.

Then we can get ahead of Yan Da

and retrieve the ice crystal leaves sooner.

But this is too dangerous.

Ka Suo, have faith in me.

I can do this.

Get up!

You've always bullied and despised me since I was little.

I was the first to retrieve the leaf of ice crystal.

I didn't fail the task.

One day, I will be more successful than any of you!

All 10 brothers who guard the Ten-layered Pagoda

will then look down on me no more!

I'm the only female warrior in the Fire Tribe.

I shall also become the first Queen of Fire!

I dislike my brothers and sisters!

I dislike that you laugh at me for having no magical powers!

I dislike all of you!

I dislike the Queen of Ice!

I dislike Father!

You dislike your older brothers so much?

What are you doing here?

Get lost!

The person you actually dislike is yourself.

The cowardly you.

You shouldn't be here.

No one is allowed to see me cry.

Even if you kill me

it won't change the fact that you dislike yourself.

You...

Shut up.

Instead of trying to keep up with the others

you might as well seek a path of your own.

If you remain in the shadows of those you despise

you will become just like them as time goes by.

Why would a mortal like you

act as if you know a lot when you know nothing at all?

That's because I also nearly killed those who used to mock me.

Really?

What, then? Did you kill them?

I didn't.

Why not?

Because of this.

I never knew that

a bamboo leaf could play such beautiful music.

At first, I didn't know either.

My older brother told me about it.

He said that we should learn from the sole-leaf bamboo.

Even if no one understands the music you play

there will always be that one person who does.

Just like the bamboo flute to the sole-leaf.

It makes the music beautiful.

Your older brother?

You and your brother... are so close.

Other than my mother

my brother is the most important person to me

in this world.

But you're now serving me as a slave.

Why hasn't your brother come looking for you?

It seems that you aren't that important to him after all?

When the time is right, we will surely meet again.

Then you...

Can Prince Shi really convey messages with the music he plays on the flute?

Shi said that Yan Da and her men are on their way to The Dream Weavers.

We have to seek out

Lord of The Dream Weavers, Xing Jiu, before they get here.

It's getting dark.

This is great.

It's daytime for The Dream Weavers.

Have some food!

Here!

It's so pretty over here.

- This is mine. - Hold it firmly.

Come again soon.

Get me a blue one.

- This is mine. - It's mine.

Give it back to me.

Come over here!

It's the grand finale for the dream weaving contest!

There are two dream weavers left.

Who will win this contest?

If you make the right bet, you'll have a chance to win a big prize!

Dream weaving contest?

What is that about?

When I was little, Xuan Ta once told me

that The Dream Weavers could create all sorts of dreams

to lure people into them.

I think...

this contest is about having them compete in their dreams.

It must be a competition of the mind.

How do they decide on the winner?

I guess the winner will be the first to unravel

the quiz in the dream and escape from it.

Whoever escapes first wins.

Someone has left the arena of the dream weaving contest!

In order to determine if you truly won the contest

I have to ask you whether or not this is still a dream.

All of you are demons!

Show your true colors!

Is he still dreaming or is he awake now?

If he can't escape from the dream

he won't be able to tell reality from a dream

and he will go crazy.

Li Luo! Let go!

He's interfering with our minds!

No!

If I do so, he will focus his attack solely on you!

Knock him out.

Don't force him to return to his dream.

Only then will you be able to save him.

I'm the Grand Elder of The Dream Weavers, Xun Hao.

I have come to welcome Prince Ka Suo.

Quickly! Over here!

Over here!

Greetings.

The dream weaver has interfered with your minds.

Please take the calming incense and Carefree Dew of our tribe

to prevent any side effects from such disturbance of the mind.

Elder Xun Hao seems to have known for a while that we were coming here.

An advanced dream weaver can use dreams to anticipate future events.

My magical powers aren't too advanced.

I did foresee your visit

but I didn't know that it would be tonight.

Then you must know what has brought me here.

I also know what brings them here today.

What a coincidence...

It's said that enemies often cross paths. It's true.

Elder Xun Hao.

You know that we have come here for the ice crystal.

Either hand it over right away

or you can make your land our battlefield.

We will hand over the ice crystal leaf.

However...

You will have to rescue His Lordship first.

Why is he in this state?

Lord Xing Jiu is in a dream.

Could he be trapped in his dream, just like that dream weaver we met?

That's why you knocked him out and kept him in this state?

If you're trapped in a dream, it is against your will.

His Lordship chose to remain in his dream.

He doesn't wish to wake up.

Why?

His Lordship's younger sister, Princess Xing Gui, passed away.

His Lordship is very sad because of her death.

One day, he entered a dream...

and he has remained in it since.

I think that... in His Lordship's dream

Princess Xing Gui must still be alive.

Therefore, he doesn't wish to face reality.

He refuses to wake up.

What does this have to do with retrieving the ice crystal leaf?

Only His Lordship knows where the ice crystal leaf is concealed.

If the Ice Tribe and the Fire Tribe wish to find the ice crystal

you must come up with a solution to rescue His Lordship from his dream.

Isn't that simple?

I'll just use my magical flames to wake him up!

If hurting his physical form could wake him from his dream

I don't think that Elder Xun Hao would have waited until now.

Prince Ka Suo is right.

Lord Xing Jiu is the most powerful dream weaver of all.

His dream can shut out any interference from the real world.

If we tortured his body

it would actually fulfill His Lordship's wish

to die along with Princess Xing Gui.

How do you save someone who doesn't wish to live?

The only way to do so is to get inside his dream

and make him return to the real world.

However...

You have so many dream weavers.

They must have already tried?

Indeed.

But just like I said

His Lordship is the most powerful dream weaver.

The other dream weavers who got into His Lordship's dream

were either driven out

or were engulfed by the dream, and went crazy.

I have no other choice

but to place my hopes in you.

Why would you believe that we would help you?

Because you want the ice crystal leaf!

I know that entering His Lordship's dream could be very dangerous for you.

I'm willing to let you think it over for a day.

Whoever can wake His Lordship up

I will be sure to hand over the ice crystal leaf to them personally.

Stop right there!

The King of Fire has given orders

that all tribesmen of Snowblade City are not to wander about after curfew!

King of Fire?

Isn't there only the King of Ice in Snowblade City?

Could it be that during my sleep

the King of Ice and the King of Fire became friends and played together?

Take down that crazy woman!

Where is the King of Ice?

Where is the Queen of Ice?

You wouldn't know, would you?

I'll go and look for them myself.

Listen up.

Search this place thoroughly.

Whoever finds the ice crystal leaf

shall be heavily rewarded!

Yes!

Your Highness.

You don't believe Elder Xun Hao?

Don't forget that when we were with The Healers

we were almost tricked by that crafty chief

who swallowed the ice crystal.

If I were to trust anyone lightly again

I would be too foolish.

That is true.

If we still can't find the leaf after a thorough search

I will consider entering his dream.

I'll look for it as well.

They are actually here.

The seal of the blazing spider?

I'll have it destroyed.

Where are the King and Queen of Ice?

Please... save... me.

Ka Suo.

Has Yan Da found the ice crystal leaf yet?

It seems not.

Entering His Lordship's dream seems to be the only way.

Prince Shi, did Yan Da give you the antidote for Heart Scorcher?

She couldn't have already given the antidote to you.

Otherwise, you'd have left her a long time ago.

She only gave me enough to last for 10 days.

I'm sorry, Ka Suo.

Your ice crystal leaf has gone to waste.

Don't worry.

I will think of some other ways.

Have you... decided to enter Lord of Dream Weavers' dream?

I intend to let Yan Da enter his dream

to retrieve information about the Six-leaf Ice Crystal.

We should rest well today.

Let's make plans tomorrow.

Elder Xun Hao, I have already decided

to enter Lord Xing Jiu's dream tonight.

Just you alone?

Yes.

This is great!

I will have a companion, then.

Why won't you obey me?

I knew that you'd enter his dream without me.

There is no knowing how dangerous his dream will be.

Not even I have tried this before.

- Not to mention that you're a mortal. - Ka Suo.

We came to The Dream Weavers together.

Since we came here together, we should leave together.

All right, then.

You're right to do so.

What a coincidence, Prince Ka Suo.

This time, it seems that

we will have to compete in a dream instead.

Since all four of you have decided to enter the dream

please come with me.

This is His Lordship's Origin of Dreams.

Origin of Dreams?

When encountered with obstacles in the dream

simply tell His Lordship your names and birth dates.

He can then enter your dreams

to resolve your problems.

Now that it is spinning

does it mean that His Lordship is dreaming?

Yes.

How can we enter His Lordship's dream?

I can help you enter his dream.

However, His Lordship has many dreams happening simultaneously.

Please be very careful.

- This is mine. - Hold it firmly.

- It's so pretty! - It's lovely!

Come and catch me!

This is mine.

Have you noticed Yan Da and Shi?

No.

What does it say on the sky lantern?

Congratulations to Princess Xing Gui on her 100th birthday.

Hasn't Princess Xing Gui already passed away?

In Xing Jiu's dream

Princess Xing Gui is still alive.

These are all of his most precious memories.

Memories?

Since it's Princess Xing Gui's birthday today

Lord of Dream Weavers, Xing Jiu

should be celebrating his sister's birthday in the palace.

Let's visit him right away.

There are so many people around.

We have to try and get closer to Xing Jiu.

Come here.

Everyone!

Welcome to Xing Gui's 100th birthday!

Tonight, no dream weavers shall enter dreams of others.

We shall feast and party all night!

Great!

- Wonderful. - Xing Gui.

Come and meet everyone.

Don't come any closer!

Who are you? Let go of my sister!

Do you still remember me?

It's fine even if you don't.

Since you couldn't save my sister, I will kill yours!

No!

Xing Gui!

This is...

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui was actually murdered.

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui!

This is bad.

Xing Jiu's dream has shattered.

Come with me.

No!

Li Luo.

Li Luo?

Let's go.

Are we still inside Xing Jiu's dream?

We seem to have gone back to that previous dream.

It means that we're in a recurring dream Xing Jiu's.

We are back to the night of Xing Gui's 100th birthday.

It seems that Xing Jiu can't come to terms

with the fact that his sister was killed.

Hence, he keeps turning back time in his dream to return to the past.

[Congratulations to Princess Xing Gui on her 100th birthday]

Xing Jiu's dream keeps repeating itself.

Why would anyone wish to trap himself in such a dream?

He feels guilty about it.

Why would he feel guilty?

He watched his sister die before his eyes

but he could do nothing about it.

As an older brother

he must have reproached himself.

Let's go.

Yan Da will surely try to stop Xing Gui from being killed.

If Xing Gui doesn't die

Xing Jiu's dream will stop repeating itself.

Are you all right?

Xing Gui?

Her pulse is all flustered.

We have to take her back to the palace right away.

Hold on.

Where has Xing Gui gone now?

Go and search for her now!

Yes!

Xing Gui!

Xing Jiu!

I really am fine now.

I ran too quickly just now

so I got all breathless.

You know that you're fragile.

Why would you go running around on your birthday?

You should be sleeping at home during the day.

I sleep during the day as well as at night.

It's giving me a headache.

Moreover, it's my birthday.

I just wanted to wander around.

Xing Jiu, don't be mad at me.

We had a deal. You're not to scold me on my birthday.

You make it sound as if I scold you every day apart from your birthday.

You don't!

My dear brother, Xing Jiu.

I like you! I like you the most!

I'm very sorry about this.

My sister has been spoiled by me.

Neither of you seem to be my tribesmen.

I'm Envoy of The Guardian, Li Luo.

This is Prince Ka Suo of the Ice Tribe.

Prince Ka Suo?

Forgive me for not welcoming you in earlier.

It's Princess Xing Gui's birthday.

Your Lordship must be holding a banquet for her birthday.

May Li Luo and I attend?

Of course.

It is my utmost honor.

Xing Jiu, after the banquet, can you unwrap the gifts with me?

Sure.

Get out of my way!

Why are they treated as guests of honor?

You... you're right.

If they are sitting over there

they are bound to be a bit faster in stopping the assassin.

This is all your fault!

If you hadn't insisted on hiding out to avoid attracting attention

we could've also been seated up there!

After we stop the assassin in time

you and Ying Kong Shi will have to keep Yan Da away.

I'll take Xing Gui to Xing Jiu to get him out of his dream.

That will bring him back to the real world.

Everyone!

Welcome to Xing Gui's 100th birthday!

Tonight, no dream weavers shall enter dreams of others.

We shall feast and party all night!

Great!

- Wonderful. - Exactly.

Xing Gui.

Come and meet everyone.

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui! Are you hurt?

No, I'm fine.

Your Highness.

- What are you doing? - I...

My feet hurt.

Xing Jiu, take her back to her quarters quickly.

Maids!

- Take the princess back to her room! - Yes.

Be careful!

Li Luo!

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui!

Li Luo!

Xing Gui!

Xing Gui!

This is bad.

Xing Jiu's dream is going to shatter.

I'll surely save you.

- Xing Jiu. - Xing Gui!

- Xing Jiu! Wake up! - Xing Gui!

Xing Jiu!

Wake up quickly!

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu...

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

Xing Jiu!

Even if you trap yourself in a dream

Xing Gui won't be revived.

Do you still remember when Xing Gui once told you

that she wanted to make a wish with you after her birthday banquet?

Don't touch her!

What is it that you took?

Give it back to me!

This is Xing Gui's birthday wish.

We are in your dream.

On Xing Gui's birthday

do you remember what she did when she sneaked out?

Am I back in the real world or am I still in a dream?

I'm back in the real world.

But why am I the only one who woke up?

Xing Jiu isn't here.

Whose dream are they in now?

It was very unexpected

that you'd risk your life to save Xing Gui

and wake up from the dream.

Lord of The Dream Weavers?
