No Boundary

Episode 25

Godfather.

The city gate is suddenly locked.

No one gets in or out.

Medicine in the city

is running out.

What should we do now?

Stay calm.

Godfather.

I have tried.

The gate won't open.

Forget it.

Must be the doing of demons.

Cheng Ou, Zhu Ran.

Yes.

Guard the city gate.

Report any situation immediately.

Yes.

Yan'er, Ce'er.

Go home and rest early.

It's been a tough day.

Tomorrow is another busy day.

Yan Yan.

Are you all right?

Feels like it's going to rain.

Where are you going?

Duanmu is not here.

No one is at her residence.

I'm taking a look.

Yan Yan.

Zhuque Street

Qifeng

Qifeng

The Dragon Clan seal.

Wengu.

It's really you who did all these.

Little Qing Hua.

Why don't you go in?

Zhan Yan.

It's you.

I thought my master has come back.

Duanmu is not here,

but life goes on.

I hope you can be happy.

Not talking to you.

You went to Penglai to save my master.

Why didn't you make her stay?

I tried.

She's a high immortal.

Maybe Penglai suits her better.

I'll wait for her.

Even if I die,

I'll leave a legacy

as the most loyal bowl.

Wait inside.

In case you fall due to sleepiness.

I will hold you.

No.

I believe I can climb down

on my own.

I climb up the same way.

I'll cover you.

No need.

I'm sorry, Zhan Yan.

I mustn't get close to you again.

Lord Zhan.

What's the matter?

Lord Zhan.

Lord Zhan.

Wake up, Lord Zhan.

Lord Zhan.

Little Medicine Vase, help!

Lord Zhan fainted.

Hurry up.

Help!

He cursed that I'd stumble.

And he fell.

Do you think his bones broke?

He's dying soon.

It doesn't matter.

Quiet.

Lord Zhan is fine.

He falls sick due to

emotional anguish.

What do you mean?

It means he needs someone to cure his heartache.

My medicine

can only treat the symptoms.

Don't go, Duanmu.

Please don't go.

Please don't leave me.

Duanmu.

Duanmu.

Duanmu.

Duanmu, don't go.

Duanmu, don't go.

Duanmu.

Zhan Yan.

I am here.

I am here.

I am sorry.

Duanmu.

Is it truly you?

Great.

I know you won't leave me.

You didn't leave.

That's great.

If you stay together,

he'll be attacked

because of you,

causing him to breakdown

and die.

You mean

the more I love him,

the more I hurt him?

End your bond with him.

Give Zhan Yan a chance to live.

Lord Zhan.

I have matters to deal with.

I didn't know you're here.

If I knew,

I wouldn't have come in.

I am sorry.

That was rude of me.

I deal with the mortal world.

I can't avoid Qifeng Prefecture.

If you are still like this,

it'll be hard on me.

Duanmu.

Must you be like this?

I understand.

Good.

Since you are back in Duanmu Residence,

I shall leave now.

Your umbrella.

♫ The moon hangs up high in the sky ♫

♫ Seek for the sunken abyss ♫

♫ In all corners in the universe ♫

♫ Never forget each other even when we are parted forever ♫

Qifeng Prefecture

Headache again?

Feeling better now?

You shouldn't stay up late last night.

The city is not peaceful.

What would happen if you fell sick?

Feeling better?

Much better.

I am fine now.

I'll be fine after some rest.

All right.

It's you.

You sewed through the night

to accompany me last night.

Can your eyes take it?

You reminded me.

I made you a scented sachet.

Look at the pattern.

Do you like it?

You made a sachet

for me?

Look at you.

It's only a sachet.

People who don't know

may think I am a useless wife.

You...

You have been getting headaches lately.

I made this sachet

with some herbs inside.

It may help to relieve your headache.

Try it.

Well,

thank you.

There you go again.

Miss Duanmu.

Duanmu.

Did you have this sickness before?

Having headaches due to too much thinking?

Were you like this before?

I have Penglai herbs.

It can relieve headaches.

Didn't Madam Jiang make a sachet?

You can put the herbs in.

Thank you, Miss Duanmu.

I will put it in now.

Godfather.

Long time no see.

You remember everything

from your past?

About Zhan Yan.

Indecisiveness

leads to disaster.

I came because of the demon poison

in the mortal world.

The world is in the chaos due to opening of the Ninth Hell.

I am responsible of this.

Have you figured out how?

I will settle it personally.

I didn't notice Wengu's affection

for me sooner.

It wasn't dealt with

and caused this trouble.

Wengu is a friend.

What about Zhan Yan?

He's also a friend.

Are you aware he went to Penglai as a mortal

just to save you?

I'm aware.

Are you aware

he will die because of this?

I won't trouble him anymore.

Duanmu.

Both of you are my children.

I don't want

any of you to get hurt.

You have done a lot.

I understand.

When the demon poison is gone,

I'll return to Penglai.

Cheng Ou, Zhu Ran.

Yes.

Follow Sect Leader Duanmu to Wengu Medical Hall.

Qifeng Prefecture will give full cooperation.

Yes, sir.

Duanmu.

Can you really let go?

Chong City

All of you.

Chong City is good,

but it's old and broken.

It's no longer glorious as it used to be.

It paled in comparison to the realm of Penglai.

Do you want to have fun in Penglai?

The deities in Penglai

gave us the Ninth Hell for a thousand year.

We are eager

to do something great.

That's right.

It's time to let them see the power

of the Demon Clan.

We are not to be bullied.

Yes, that's right.

Not to be bullied.

Great.

Then I will bring you to Penglai.

To Penglai!

I used to hate that chameleon.

He was fake

and instigated his people

for his own benefit.

Today I have become

the person I hate.

Duanmu.

Will you forgive me?

Watch out. Sect Leader Duanmu.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

You're back.

Great.

We have hope.

How is it?

The city gate's locked for no reason.

Medicines are running short.

It's looking bleak.

I am here, you'll be fine.

What's this?

Demonic Purge spell.

I purposely learnt from Taoist Master Zhang before I came here.

Let them drink it.

Here you go.

Slowly.

Thank you.

How is it?

Better.

How is it?

Much better?

Much better?

Feeling better?

You are awake, darling.

High Immortal.

It's effective.

Great.

It's working.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

It's working.

I thank you on behalf of the people.

The demon poison in Qifeng

caused people to fall sick.

Poison in the road

extends miles away.

If we can't remove it

from its source,

I'm afraid my magical charms

will not be enough.

Then

how can I help?

Nothing you can help.

But tell me something.

Where is the water source in Qifeng City?

It's at...

The well at the east of town.

Great.

Sub by iQiyi & Ripped by skysoultan ♔ Follow @skysoultan on Instagram ♔

Zhan Yan.

What are you doing?

I am thirsty.

You said not to drink the water.

You mustn't drink this.

It may be poisonous.

If I don't drink it,

you'll have to.

You want to test the poison for me?

You are so stingy.

It's only a cup of water.

Zhan Yan.

It's dangerous.

Be careful.

Are you concerned?

I thought the poison would be in the water.

But it's not.

The water is clean.

If it's not

in the water,

it's...

If not in the water,

then it's underground.

But I have no idea

where's the source.

Catastrophe

is unpredictable but there is a reason.

Abnormal weather,

poisonous gas from dead corpses,

it is hard to treat.

If it's easy to solve,

it's not a catastrophe.

It's not a pandemic

and not because of fate.

My guess is

it's Wengu's doing.

Zhan Yan.

One person might know

the source of poison.

Who?

God of Pestilence.

Temple of the God of Pestilence

The smell is strong.

The answer is here.

Although a little god,

he is very proud

and very petty.

He never allows his statue

to be so ruined.

I am right.

Wengu was here.

Zhang Long.

Zhang Long.

Cheng Ou and Zhu Ran say

you haven't eaten.

Have some steamed bun.

Eat.

Why don't you eat?

It'll get cold.

Zhang Long.

You vomit blood.

Zhang Long.

Stay away.

Are you infected?

Leave now.

No.

I said leave.

Don't you understand?

I'm not leaving.

If you don't leave,

you'll be infected too.

I'm not afraid.

You'll die.

-I'm not afraid. -What are you doing?

Zhang Long.

Look at me.

Sect Leader Duanmu will find a way to save us.

If you die,

I...

No.

You won't die.

If you die,

I have no one to beat me and scold me every day.

To kick me.

No one supervises me on my patrol.

No one nags at me every day.

Zhang Long.

I won't leave you behind.

I'll bring you to Sect Leader Duanmu.

Temple of the God of Pestilence

Wengu killed

and buried God of Pestilence here

to spread the poison.

Is he crazy?

Wengu used to be a divine doctor.

Maybe he has difficulties?

Don't defend him.

To save a life or to kill,

if a doctor intends to kill,

he would be a murderer.

Whatever trouble he has,

what is wrong is wrong.

I won't allow him

to hurt the people.

This is...

Burning it with Samadhi Fire

will get rid of the poison.

Poison rain.

Watch out.

Sect Leader.

Hong Luan.

You are alive.

Great.

Why are you here?

How did you get the cloud?

Wengu gave you?

I used God of Pestilence

to release the aura of death.

I did all of these.

Stop defending him.

It's not him.

It's me.

I'll find him.

Sect Leader.

Your face.

Duanmu Cui.

It's because of you.

Wengu did everything because of you.

Taking away people's lives

is an unspeakable

and intolerable act.

Souls without bodies

will naturally disappear.

I am a peach blossom demon.

Grass and trees are my life force.

My soul can be used as a vessel.

It can escape the law of heaven temporarily

and prevent souls from disappearing.

Great.

I'll depend on you.

Duanmu.

I can soon revive you.

Wengu did all these

to save me?

Why is he...

You hunt him down.

What wrong did he do?

I won't hurt people for personal affair.

And I will not show mercy because of personal relationship.

What will you do?

He belongs to me a thousand years ago.

I will take his life

personally.

I'll go find him.

Duanmu.

I beg you.

You're a high immortal.

Wengu gave up his divinity for you

and become Demon King.

The only belief that supports him is you.

Please, I beg you.

Please don't be so cruel.

Don't hurt him.

Stop speaking for him.

Duanmu.

I beg you.

Duanmu.

Let me go, Duanmu.

Calm down

and wait for me.

Duanmu.

Be gentle.

Don't scare the high immortals.

Wengu.

You're trespassing Penglai.

What do you want?

I am taking Duanmu home.

How rude!

Do you think Penglai belongs to you?

You can come

and go as you wish?

You're not qualified to be here.

I will show you whether

I'm qualified or not.

Look.

Look, what's that?

Look at the sky.

Dark clouds.

Run quickly.

Run.

The demon poison

is specially prepared for high immortals in Penglai.

Do you like it?

Demon poison?

Penglai is arrogant

and never cared about the people in the mortal world.

I am here to help you

experience

the taste of death.

Wengu.

How dare you create chaos in the mortal world.

How dare you?

This is intolerable.

Are you crazy?

You made me do it.

Yang Jian.

After I've revived Duanmu,

I'll give her a clean Penglai

as a gift for her rebirth.

In your dreams.

If you can stop me,

you can say that again.

Star Lord.

Wengu is heading to Guixu.

God of Thunder.

Clear the clouds.

Yes.

The demons are back in Chong City.

A thousand years passed.

Things changed.

But they are still guarding the city.

What happened back then?

I conquered Chong City a thousand years ago.

Many perished.

I know it's hard for you.

I never thought

I never thought Wengu would do this.

He killed innocent people.

Duanmu.

Each has his way.

He chooses to be maleficent.

You choose to be benevolent.

This is also our duty.

You mustn't feel guilty.

Zhan Yan.

He did all these

because of me.

Everyone must take

responsibility for their choices.

Who are you? Stop.

Chong City

Trespassers.

Stop.

Who are you?

Duanmu Cui.

It's her.

She seized Chong City

and trapped us in the Ninth Hell for a thousand years.

I want to see Wengu.

He's not in Chong City.

Where's he?

Stop searching.

Duanmu is not in Guixu.

You hurt the people.

She's in the mortal world helping the people.

Nonsense.

You killed her.

Don't lie to me.

Return Duanmu Cui.

Return to you?

As if Duanmu once belonged to you.

Look at you now.

If I'm Duanmu Cui,

I'll hate you.

Shut up!

Wengu.

Stop it.

We are not lying.

High Immortal Duanmu is still alive.

She knows everything

you've done.

Impossible.

Believe it or not.

She went to Qifeng to find the God of Pestilence

to treat the poison.

If you ruin Penglai,

she won't forgive you.

Do you think

I'll stop just like that?

You can take a look in the mortal world.

Duanmu is alive.

She's not dead.

It's raining heavily.

Quick, that way.

Quick, this way.

Keep them away.

And these.

Here.

And this.

Here.

Fill it up.

All right.

Godmother.

Godmother.

Qifeng is crumbling.

Come with me now.

No.

I can't go now.

Take the archives with you.

Godmother.

Let's go.

No.

Godmother.

Are you all right?

I'm fine.

Save the archives.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

Sect Leader Duanmu.

Hong Luan.

Why are you here?

Have you seen Sect Leader Duanmu?

Zhang Long is infected.

She left Qifeng City.

What?

Quickly bring me to Sect Leader Duanmu.

It's a long journey.

When you get back,

she might be dead.

Nonsense.

Release me first.

My pollen

can relieve her pain

in her final hours.

There's no need.

Zhang Long won't die.

Zhao Wu.

I am begging you.

Please leave.

Leave.

I am not leaving.

I won't leave even you beat me to death.

Fine.

Since you don't listen to me anymore,

I'll beat you to death today.

Leave.

Leave.

I'm not leaving.

Zhang Long.

If it hurts,

you can bite me.

I'm not afraid of pain.

Are you a fool?

Aren't you afraid to die?

That's right.

My mother once said

a man fears nothing

but only his wife.

Tell me.

Where's Zhan Yan?
