I'm sorry.

I never thought that

Elder will do that to you.

But he has the antidote.

I'll return to the Ninth Hell now

and bring you the antidote.

You'll be fine.

High Immortal.

It's you.

I...

You are the envoy of Demon Clan.

I'm not.

High Immortal.

I deliberately spilled the medicine

to return to Duanmu Residence.

The scalded wound

is still on your hand, right?

Hong Luan,

you are so bold.

High Immortal,

let me explain.

I was forced.

High Immortal.

What exactly are you planning?

Why do you want to frame me

and set Duanmu up?

High Immortal,

I didn't mean to hurt you.

And I didn't mean to hurt Sect Leader.

You didn't?

You are kind to me,

and Sect Leader treats me as sister.

I would never hurt you guys.

Do I need to

remind you everything?

High Immortal,

I...

About the case of Mirror Spirit,

Duanmu was almost trapped in the dream.

About the case of the gnat demons,

Duanmu experienced blood loss

and almost left the human world.

About the case of Silkworm Phantom,

I guess your target

is Duanmu too, right?

Now that demonic poison appears in Qifeng City,

the reputation of Xihualiu Sect is tarnished.

That must have something to do with you.

But you said you're not willing to hurt Duanmu?

What exactly are you planning?

High Immortal,

I was forced.

They put Heart Devouring Curse on me.

High Immortal Wengu,

I would never hurt you.

Do you think I would

still believe your words?

If I don't do it,

Elder will send someone else to do it too.

I can still do something about it

as I'm in Duanmu Residence.

High Immortal,

I really never meant to

hurt you.

I...

I'm just...

Just...

It's for Penglai Drawing?

When did you know that?

I've been letting you off for so long

because of my carelessness.

I'll hand you over to Duanmu now.

If she couldn't bear to do it,

I'll do it myself.

High Immortal!

High Immortal!

High Immortal,

how do you feel?

You're badly poisoned.

You won't live for long once you get angry.

High Immortal,

in any case,

please believe me once again.

I'll return to the Ninth Hell now

to get the antidote for you.

I'll be at your disposal when I return.

Wengu,

what's wrong with you?

Hurry up!

Catch Hong Luan.

She is the envoy of Demon Clan.

She is now going back to the Ninth Hell.

The Ninth Hell causes all of this.

We can clear

the name of Xihualiu Sect by capturing her.

Are you all right?

Do you get hurt?

I'm fine.

How about you?

I'm fine too.

You don't have to be hypocritical.

I've found out that

Hong Luan was the one who broke the jail that night.

I already knew it.

This is not something you mortals

should take care of.

I know what to do.

You're my business.

I mean

things that happen in Qifeng City

is my business.

I can't just stand by.

No need for that.

Hong Luan went to the Ninth Hell.

That is the territory of Demon Clan.

Mortals like you can't get in there.

Since it's the territory of Demon Clan,

it's dangerous to deities like you as well.

Deities and Demon Clan

have always been the sworn enemy.

It's none of your business.

I must find Hong Luan.

Wengu's grievances can only be relieved with that.

I'll go with you then.

Wait for me.

Wengu,

I'll bring the antidote back for you.

How are things going?

I've done everything

you said.

Wengu is badly poisoned.

He'll soon go mad

and completely turn into a beast.

I can kill

Duanmu Cui now, right?

There's no rush.

It's only me who can detoxify Wengu.

Duanmu Cui has no helper by her side.

You just need to set a fire,

then the reputation of Xihualiu Sect will be ruined.

Penglai will definitely get involved to handle Xihualiu.

By then,

Duanmu Cui has no way out.

All right,

I'll just do as you say.

Wengu,

you are a Dragon,

me as well.

Why can't a chameleon

be the King of Demon Clan?

Your mother is just a mortal.

How noble can your half Dragon blood be?

I'll wait.

Wait for you to lose your mind

and completely turn into a beast!

Let those Demon Clan who wish

for you to come back understand that

I'm the only one

who can give them freedom.

This is the entry of the Ninth Hell.

The war between Deity Clan and Demon Clan back then

had separated Penglai Drawing into three realms.

Deity Clan is located in Penglai.

The rebelled Demon Clan is trapped in the Ninth Hell.

The Ninth Hell is located underneath Penglai

to prevent the insurrection of Demon Clan.

Don't trouble yourself,

Lord Zhan.

Go back.

I'll go with you.

Are you crazy?

The entry of the Ninth Hell is under the sea.

Mortals will die if they go into the sea.

Let me go with you,

okay?

What is this?

A stealth cape.

It's water, fire, sword, army proof.

At least you won't be drowned.

It can also temporarily hide your trace.

Seem like

you still can't bear to see me die.

It's just because you're a good navigator.

Duanmu,

this cape is too small.

Stop talking.

Senior,

have you heard something?

Where is Zhan Yan?

Godfather.

Sir.

You're back.

There are always citizens

gather in front of the prefecture and make trouble recently,

saying that Xihuaoliu had killed people

and they want to kill Mr Wengu,

this Demon Clan.

And someone wants to go to Xihualiu

and fight them.

Sir,

I've searched through the prefecture

but Lord Zhan is nowhere to be seen.

Sir,

did something happen to Lord Zhan?

Is there anyone who knows

where exactly Zhan Yan is?

He always refuses to believe that

Xihualiu is the one who broke the jail and murdered people.

He stuffed himself in the room

and studied the case all night.

He has been

studying this peach blossom repeatedly

for a long time.

As he suddenly left,

he must have found

the key of this case.

I didn't want him to get involved in this case

because I didn't want to put him on the spot.

You don't have to worry.

It should be more than enough to investigate

this case with his ability.

So, this is the Ninth Hell.

Duanmu,

what are you doing?

This is the magic of drawing the ground as prison.

Mortals are not able to break it.

The Ninth Hell is the territory of Demon Clan.

It's dangerous in there.

Hong Luan is my people from Xihualiu.

She is here

for the matters of Xihualiu.

Zhan Yan, I've told you.

I'll protect my people.

I don't need others to intervene in my business.

You don't have to take risks for me.

Duanmu, let me out.

I'm not doing this for you.

I'm doing this for Qifeng Prefecture.

Just consider me, Duanmu Cui, as a stingy person

that I won't let Lord Zhan enter the Ninth Hell

and let you steal Xihualiu's thunder.

Duanmu, stop messing around.

Zhan Yan,

this stealth cape,

it can hide your breath as mortal.

The Soul Protecting Pearl isn't afraid of water and fire.

It can protect you

from being hurt by the array of the Ninth Hell.

You wait me here.

If I come back,

we'll go back together.

You gave all these magical tools to me.

What about you?

I'm a deity,

I don't need these.

Duanmu, listen to me.

Let me out.

I promise you.

I'll stay here until you come back.

It's too late.

I've told you many times

that not to do something you can't.

Have you ever listened to me?

If your act were reassuring,

I wouldn't have done this to you now.

Am I so bad

in your heart?

In my heart, you're...

Duanmu, what's wrong with you?

Duanmu,

quickly let me out.

But...

No but!

Hurry up!

It's dangerous here!

Stop worrying so much!

Quickly let me out!

I'm fine.

It's fine as long as you're safe.

This boundary can protect you.

Duanmu, come back!

If I...

If I couldn't come back,

this boundary will be untangled in a day.

Leave immediately,

do not come in.

Duanmu!

Duanmu, come back!

Duanmu!

Since Qifeng Prefecture doesn't care about us,

we'll get justice for ourselves.

Hand Wengu over!

Hand Duanmu Cui over!

Hand Wengu over!

Hand Duanmu Cui over!

We want to enter Xihualiu

to find the murderer, Wengu.

Hand him over!

Where did master go?

What should we do?

High Immortal Wengu,

quickly wake up!

Don't be afraid, Medicine Vase.

I'll protect you.

It'll be fine.

Without Zhen Huo amulet,

it's impossible for them to enter Duanmu Residence.

Luckily I've been

lurking as a cat in Xihualiu for a long time

to get this Zhen Huo amulet.

Everyone, don't be afraid!

Let's go!

Let's go!

Go! Go! Go!

Sir!

Sir,

something happens to Duanmu Residence.

Do not panic.

You stay in the prefecture.

Cheng Ou, Zhu Ran,

follow me.

Come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Come out!

Hand the murderer over!

Hand Wengu over!

If I couldn't explain to my master,

I won't live too!

Bring it on!

Beat him to death!

Beat him!

Don't be afraid.

I'm here.

Don't cry.

Stop!

Stop! Stop!

Stop! Stop hitting!

Stop hitting! Stop!

Move aside!

Go!

Stop! Move aside!

Back off!

Back off!

Doctor Wengu,

where is Sect Leader Duanmu now?

Sect Leader Duanmu stepped out.

She hasn't come back yet.

She must have escaped!

She is the one who harboured the demons!

Catch Wengu! Catch Duanmu Cui!

Nonsense!

My master went out to look for the truth.

She will be back in a few days.

Back off!

Xihualiu had helped us to solve strange cases.

I'm willing to give them time to prove their innocence.

Everyone, please rest assured.

Within five days,

we will give you an explanation.

But if someone dares to come here

and make trouble in this period,

you'll be taken to Qifeng Prefecture for pending trial.

Cheng Ou, Zhu Ran,

take care of the rest.

Yes.

Behave yourself, back off!

Back off! Don't move!

Behave yourself!

Back off!

You can't let him go!

What's the sound?

Deity Clan broke into Ninth Hell!

Help!

It's Deity Clan who broke into Ninth Hell.

Capture Deity Clan,

we'll be rewarded by Elder!

Let's go.

Duanmu is in danger!

Duanmu has said

that this boundary can last for a day.

Why is it so easy to crack?

Could it be

Duanmu's power limited in Ninth Hell?

Who are you?

Why are you here?

Lord Jiang, Lord Jiang!

I'm sorry, Lord Jiang!

Are you all right, Lord Jiang?

I'm okay.

I'm sorry!

I'm so sorry!

Why should we apologize to him?

He harboured his boy, Zhan Yan

and doesn't dare to offend Duanmu Cui from Xihualiu.

It's better not to

offend people like him.

Help!

Help!

Help!

Help!

Help!

Help!

I was taken to Ninth Hell by Demon Clan.

They ate my mother.

I'm scared.

Help me.

I'm here to help you.

Hiding among the rocks,

smart as a child,

attract the souls by stretching out the hands whenever you see a person.

You'll die if you leave the old haunt.

I thought you're a powerful demon.

But you're just a Xi Nang spirit.

Let's see how you live

without the rocks.

Just hand yourself in!

You this kid,

dare to set firecrackers in my shop

and splash oil at my door.

What are you trying to do?

You dare to scold him?

Go to hell.

Don't you know

arson is a serious crime?

He was disrespectful to Lord Jiang.

As a citizen of Qifeng City,

I can't stand to see it

so I teach him a lesson.

You dare to scold our Lord Jiang?

It's a shame that I saved you just now.

I was just whining.

He is trying to kill people.

Pretty sister,

I splashed oil on the floor

just to tease him.

I set the firecrackers

just to scare him.

I was just kidding.

I didn't mean to set people on fire.

Kidding?

Don't you know that it could cause death?

Let's go.

Follow us to Qifeng Prefecture.

It's a Deity Clan as expected.

Catch her!

Take her to Elder and get our reward!

Get our reward!

Zhan Yan is trapped in the boundary.

He can't be here.

Could he be the transformation of Demon Clan's Ao Yin?

Duanmu, it's me.

Stop with the tricks.

Even if my power is limited,

but it's more than enough to deal with

Ao Yin's blindfolding method.

The dumpling won't taste good when it's cold.

Wait until you're back,

the dolls at Zhuque Street, take your pick.

Everyone,

Penglai's spy is already in my hand.

We can now return to the Elder.

Brother from Shadow Clan

has done a great job!

You captured the Deity Clan without much effort.

Great! Great! Great!

You said this kid set the firecrackers

and splashed the oil, planning to set a fire?

Yes.

I asked him where he lives

but he refused to answer

so it's best to take him to Qifeng Prefecture.

Kid,

how old are you?

Where do you live?

Do you have relatives?

Father,

you are my relatives.

I live where you live.

wherever you live.

Did I hear him right?

He calls him 'father'.

Is this kid crazy?

Kid,

I'm serious.

Where are your relatives?

Don't move!

Father,

the uncle was insulting you just now.

That's why I teased him.

You can rest assured.

I won't do it anymore

as you said it's wrong.

You're the magistrate of Qifeng Prefecture.

I'll treat you as my role model.

Father.

This...

Is he really Lord Jiang's child?

Father.

Sir.

You even have an illegitimate child.

Are you worthy of Godmother?

Nonsense!

What's wrong?

Kid,

you can't randomly recognize one as your relatives.

Where do you live?

This is my father.

What's your name?

Jiang Mo.

It's over. Even the last name matches.

Shut up!

I think we'd better to start our night patrols first.

Don't force me.

I haven't finished watching the fun.

What's so fun about it?

Hold on.

You guys go and find out

which family

has lost a teenage boy?

Yes.

Come on.

Get up, kid.

Kid,

you've got the wrong person.

Father,

I won't get it wrong.

I always remember what you look like.

I've been looking for you for a long time.

I was homeless back then.

It was you who saved me

and took me in.

You are my father.

Godfather,

it turns out that

this is another child you've helped.

I guess this kid

is same as me and Yan Yan.

We have no relatives since childhood

and been taken care of by you.

Maybe you entrusted him

to the local prefecture later,

that's why he came to look for you.

But I don't remember it at all.

Godfather, you've been doing charity

and helping people in these years.

It's normal that you can't remember clearly.

It won't do.

I have to ask other prefectures

and see if they know this kid.

If we found out,

we have to quickly send him home.

Father,

are you going to kick me out?

I've gone through a lot to find you.

Are you going to abandon me?

Why can they

stay by your side

but I can't?

I can patrol the street for you too.

I can also do a lot of works.

Kid,

you're still young.

You're at the age which you should go to school.

It won't do.

I guess it still needs some time

to find his family.

How about this?

You may stay in Qifeng Prefecture during this period of time.

That'll be great, father!

Someone, please.

Yes.

Take him to rest first.

Thank you, father.

Thank you, father.

Then,

do you want to tell Godmother?

Of course we have to tell her.

It's not even a question.

Would it be fine if we don't tell her?

Brother,

you have to keep an eye on her.

I'll report

your achievement to the Elder.

The Elder will make it worth your while.

I'm very sorry about

what I did earlier.

Didn't I tell you to wait me out there?

Hong Luan is involved in the case

and I'm the sheriff.

I have to take her back for questioning.

Well,

for Lord Zhan,

responsibility is more important than anything.

You don't want nothing

except responsibility.

How did you get in?

Why were you with those

army of Demon Clan?

The boundary you set was unstable.

I split it with Ju Que.

I saw you

got caught by those army of Demon Clan

as soon as I got out.

I've never seen you before.

How did you hide yourself?

Are you a Shadow Clan?

Yes, I am.

Why should I believe you?

I just

discovered

the Deity Clan who broke into the Ninth Hell.

I attacked her

and even got her trapped.

But unfortunately,

she broke the boundary and escaped.

What are you guys muttering about?

Hurry up!

Do not let other team capture that Deity Clan

and take credits from us!

Let's go!

Let's go!

Sir,

I'm a Shadow Clan,

I'm best at the tracking.

I have my own way to find that Deity Clan.

Really?

I wouldn't dare lie to you.

It's a narrow escape from death for me in here.

But you're good,

you infiltrated the enemies.

Your brain is quite useful

in this Ninth Hell.

If you didn't trap me,

I wouldn't have easily

got their trust.

Are you hungry?

No.

I'm a deity.

How could I be hungry?

I'm starving.

Do you want to eat?

No.

You're an adult man.

Why do you have candy?

It's sesame candy from the street at the east.

The seller said she used high quality honey

with peanuts and sesame,

simmered them for hours

got them slowly shredded

and twisted them together to make this.

It smells good, it's soft

and...

You're right.

Candy is not my thing.

Then why did you carry it with you?

Did you carry it

because of me?

Sect Leader Duanmu, you overthink it.

It's to coax those

crying children when

patrolling the streets.

Then they can have the rest.

I'm going to sleep.

Zhan Yan.

Zhan Yan.

Zhan Yan.

Zhan Yan.

Zhan Yan.

Don't leave.

Don't leave.

I'm sorry,

Duanmu.

Blackie?

Blackie?

Dear,

have you seen Blackie?

Blackie isn't here.

So this is the kid that Ce'er mentioned

whose named Jiang Mo?

I tried to remember just now.

He should be the kid that

I helped back then when I was the officer

at the remote county.

I have no idea how he found here.

Seems that he is just a teenage boy

and it's the time when the body grows.

Won't he catch a cold

as he sleeps with his face down?

Why don't I take him back?

Father,

I really miss you.

Look.

Looking at this child,

I am reminded of

that time when Yan'er just came to our house.

He had nightmares every day and couldn't sleep.

I accompanied him just like you do now.

I remember it.

That time, I said

I was afraid that a loving mother will lead to useless son.

I don't like what you said.

Look at my Yan'er and Ce'er,

they are all good kids.

There are no spoiled sons.

Right, right.

You're right.

They say that the elderly people

would feel sorry for the children.

It's true.

You only feel sorry for Jiang Mo.

Don't I love Yan'er and Ce'er?

You are too harsh on Yan'er.

You're overly harsh, okay?

What do you mean overly?

Weren't you being excessive for the matter of Xihualiu?

I know Yan'er very well.

He is a man of principle.

He would never practice favouritism.

Why can't you trust him?

What makes you think I don't trust him?

So you don't trust Miss Duanmu?

I think that lady

is quite nice.

She is not a bad person.

My dear,

don't you feel it?

Everything is extraordinary as long as they are

related to Duanmu Residence.

I'm just trying to protect Yan'er from danger.

Danger?

If it wasn't you who stopped Yan'er,

he wouldn't have investigated the case privately.

He even ran away without leaving

a letter now.

Isn't that more dangerous?

Yan'er has always been steady.

He must have his reason

to leave without saying anything.

And Sect Leader Duanmu

is not in Xihualiu now,

so I guess both of them are trying to

chase some important leads together.

I asked Zhang Long and the others

to look for them with great fanfare

is to avoid spooking them.

If the men behind this know

what Yan'er is doing,

that will put him in danger.

You always have your reason.

I don't care.

If our Yan'er got hurt,

I would never let you off.

Just stay here tonight.

Okay.

Think about your mistake.

I'll go first.

Father,

this time,

I want to be with you forever.

Elder.

Who's the visitor?

I don't know.

But there are a lot of great items

in the bag that she carries.

There are weapons in it.

Xi Nang and Zao Chi

were all wounded by her.

There's Qiankun

in the bag.

Qiankun bag.

The great and powerful Penglai's High Immortal,

Duanmu Cui?

I've waited for you for so long.

Zhan Yan,

apparently you care about me.

Then why did you...

What are you doing?

This lady

was trying to escape just now.

Lucky that I'm smart

and got her.

Well done.

Brother from Shadow Clan,

take her to the execution ground.

The Elder wants to execute her personally.

Yes.
