Ms. Park! Where are you?

Get out here!

How dare you send this to Ha Jun?

What? Did she run away already?

You're home early.

Yes.

I was tired.

You didn't see Ha Jun today, did you?

No. I went golfing with Assemblyman Park.

Why? Does he need to talk to me?

No.

You two have been so close lately,

I thought you went somewhere together.

You like seeing Ha Jun and me getting closer too,

don't you?

I should take him golfing next time.

Ms. Park. So you went into hiding, is that it?

Where is this witch?

(Sung Na Yeon)

Mom. What do I do?

What do I do?

Ha Jun. You really won't tell me?

Why did you lie? You didn't even do it.

Forget it. I think I've taught you wrong.

I'll take the beating instead.

Do you know why I lied?

I didn't want you...

and Grandma to be hurt.

But... I still can't do it.

How can I tell Father? How?

(Sung Na Yeon)

I'm sorry, Mom.

I was wrong.

(Sung Na Yeon)

What happened?

Why did you bring Na Yeon's son here?

Something happened.

I couldn't leave him alone.

What happened,

that he's all dehydrated and looks like he's about to die?

My goodness.

How's Ha Jun?

He tried to kill Ms. Geum.

Luckily, Sun Hyuk stopped him.

What about Oh Byung Gook?

Are you saying Ha Jun didn't tell his father?

Is that what you wanted?

The son should be punished for his father's sins. That's karma.

Oh Byung Gook should know what Geum Eun Hwa did.

Ha Jun sincerely loves the chairman.

It'll kill him to see his father fall apart.

He's hesitating because of pity.

You and he are very alike.

He holds the bomb now.

Geum Eun Hwa knows that, so she'll take action.

She won't leave him alone.

Things have blown up.

Have they?

Then use Ha Jun and destroy Geum Eun Hwa completely.

Oh Byung Gook needs to pay for being fooled by her too.

Kick both of them out of Jewang Group.

The chairman too?

You want the son to kick out his father?

This isn't like you.

It isn't like me?

You said Se Rin found out who you were,

and you had no choice but to pull up the revenge on Ju Tae Sik.

All I did was speed up Ha Jun's time.

Waiting to take revenge until the right time...

Sure. That's what I taught you.

But Ga Heun.

I didn't mean to miss the right time because you feel sorry for them.

- Rock, paper, scissors. - Rock, paper, scissors.

Sorry, rich guy who buys me yummy food.

What's wrong with you?

Come eat, Uncle.

Whose room is this?

It's my brother-in-law's room.

Did I sleep in Sun Hyuk's house?

You're up. Come out and eat.

Rich guy, eat mine.

Uncle, I'll give you one too.

You look so weak.

Do you want porridge?

No, I'm good.

You need to force yourself to eat even if you have no appetite.

Pour water on your rice and eat with the kimchi.

Na Yeon used to finish a bowl of rice with just this.

- Eat up. - She did?

I'm glad you came.

I don't know what happened,

but Na Yeon's son is in my home.

How could I not feed you?

Na Yeon would give me an earful if she found out.

Thank you for the food.

Hey. Do you know what Na Yeon said to me the day before she died?

She said she thought she was going to die because of you.

She said she was afraid you would kill her.

She was bawling on the phone!

- Ma'am. - Yes?

You came to our house that time and said you spoke to my mom...

the day before she passed away.

Yes, I did. What about it?

Can you tell me about that?

My mom didn't die from her illness, did she?

What? What do you mean?

Are you saying Eun Hwa really killed her?

What? Ms. Park sent this to Ha Jun?

Are you sure?

Who else would've done it?

You were right. I should've gotten rid of her.

Just how much money is she trying to get from me?

So where is she now?

She disappeared. She won't answer her phone.

She should've asked if she needed more money.

How dare she send this to Ha Jun?

Why that...

Ga Heun did this.

She sent this to Ha Jun and took Ms. Park.

What happened to your neck?

Did Ha Jun do that to you?

He heard that I killed his mom,

so he probably wanted to kill me.

What if he does it again?

What will you do then?

This is nothing. He can choke me all he wants.

That twerp won't actually kill me.

What if he tells Dad? What then?

Don't worry. Ha Jun is scared...

that his dad will collapse from the shock,

so he can't say a peep.

I told him why Grandma had a stroke.

You did?

That way, it would feel real.

That his dad may end up like his grandma.

You know how much Ha Jun cares about his dad.

He'll never tell him.

You used the same strategy I did.

Ga Heun and Ha Jun...

They're both so humane.

No.

There's nothing Mom and I won't do to get what we want.

That's more humane.

But Mom,

aren't you nervous about Ha Jun spending time with Dad?

He found out how his mom died. He may end up telling him.

I'll make sure that even you can't believe anything Ha Jun says.

I'll make sure...

your dad turns his back on Ha Jun completely.

The problem is Ms. Park.

How will I find her?

Anyway, I'm so nervous that she'll go and blab to your dad.

I'll look for her.

You focus on Ha Jun.

Sure.

Na Yeon and I spoke on the phone a lot when she was sick.

She was my closest friend.

What did she say on the phone...

the day before she passed away?

Well...

I was just so angry that day...

that I blurted it out without thinking.

It must've been really hard for her as she fought her cancer.

She called me late at night the day before she died,

and said she thought Eun Hwa would do something to her.

She was bawling. I was so...

Mom... Cried?

Look. President Oh. I mean.

Mr. Oh... No. No.

Since you're my friend Na Yeon's son, I'll just call you...

Ha Jun. Is that all right?

Yes. Please tell me everything about my mom.

Ha Jun.

Na Yeon was only worried about you.

It was obvious...

Eun Hwa would replace her once she was gone.

She was afraid she'd do something to you.

She was very worried about it.

She said she wouldn't be able to rest in peace then.

Mom... Said that?

Ha Jun.

Goodness. Please don't cry.

Your mom will be heartbroken if you cry.

Gosh.

Whatever Eun Hwa may do,

don't let her play you. Okay?

Think only about your mom...

and protect yourself.

You have to be strong, okay?

Did you come because you were worried?

I need to talk to you.

You're saying you already knew...

about Bong Sook's recording?

Yes.

After Chairman Han's stroke,

Ha Ra tried to harm her.

I was worried, so I installed a camera in Chairman Han's room...

and sent her physical therapist.

Then...

I learned that your housekeeper was a witness to your mother's death.

Ha Ra tried to get rid of her because she knew...

what Ms. Geum had done,

so I saved her and made that recording.

Ha Ra, that psycho.

Were you dealing with all of this by yourself?

Why didn't you tell me sooner?

I wasn't sure whether or not you could handle it.

Whether or not I could handle it, that's my lot in life.

It's something I must go through!

So that was why you told me...

about your father.

That's right. Just like you yesterday,

I had lost my mind when I found out how my dad really died.

I wanted to kill the people who killed him and die too.

Then you must understand how I feel better than anyone.

I can't let Stepmom be.

You said Ha Ra tried to hurt Grandma!

How can I just let them be?

I want to run right over and kill them.

I know how you feel.

But this isn't the time.

You know the chairman will be traumatized if he finds out.

His wife of 30 years is a murderer!

What about his daughter?

I know you don't want to imagine...

what may happen if he finds out.

But I feel so sorry for my mom.

There's nothing I can do for her.

I'm so pathetic!

I'll help you get revenge.

I'll let you punish...

the person who killed your mother...

personally.

Ga Heun.

How dare you tell Ha Jun my mom's secret?

So your strategy is to stab me in the back.

Listen carefully.

I don't know what deal you made with her,

but I won't pretend to be happily married to you.

She wouldn't be this reckless at least because of Sun Hyuk.

Did Ms. Park do it herself?

I'll meet with everyone you hired and get them to testify.

I'll find out everything that you did.

Darn it.

Sun Hyuk can't meet Wook Do.

I have to find Ms. Park and the real Hwang Ga Heun too.

Wook Do, you have a lot of work to do.

What urgent matter is it,

that you came yourself?

Find some people for me.

One is Park Bong Sook, our housekeeper.

Remember her?

The one you abducted and offered up to Ga Heun.

The second is...

Hwang Ga Heun.

You always make me break my code not to touch women and children.

If you want me to kill Park Bong Sook, no.

And Hwang Ga Heun knows my weakness, so no.

I can't handle her.

Wait. Find Hwang Ga Heun?

Did she go missing?

Not that Hwang Ga Heun.

The real Hwang Ga Heun.

What do you mean?

This Hwang Ga Heun is a fake.

She's a fraud pretending to be...

the daughter of Ji Na Hwang of Hwaipeu Fund.

Do it for Se Rin.

You have to find the real Hwang Ga Heun.

I see. This Hwang Ga Heun is a fake.

You want to find the real one and get rid of the fake.

That's right. I'll expose her for being a fraud...

and get rid of her from the company and from my movie.

She knows Se Rin's weakness.

Shouldn't you, her boyfriend, do something about it?

Fine. I'll take that job.

You'll take that job?

You're saying you won't find Park Bong Sook?

Fine. Okay.

I'll find her myself.

One more thing.

My husband may come to you.

If he does, deny everything about me.

Kidnapping Hoon, burying Ga Heun,

and especially what you know about Eun Jo.

Don't say a thing. Don't even talk to him.

Why would your husband come to me?

He's gathering evidence on what I did so he can divorce me.

You have to make sure he doesn't find any evidence.

He's obstinate, so he'll keep hounding you.

If you understood, find the real Ga Heun.

Wait. If her husband gathers evidence...

That means I'll be caught for kidnapping.

Why you...

(Jupiter)

Mr. Na Wook Do?

Who...

Darn it.

Stop right there!

Darn it.

So, you can't restore the data on the phone,

and there's no such island as Jubasomol.

I mean... Don't they have anyone else to con?

How could they con an honest man like me?

File a report so there won't be any other victims like me.

I'll do that, but...

Fine.

What was the name of the investment group and the leader?

Madam's Salon.

It's an investment group...

- led by Madam Black. - No, no. The real name.

The real name? I don't know.

Everyone uses nicknames there.

I'm DDM's White Pants.

So...

I ran a search for Jubasomol...

and the screen suddenly went black.

"Ju Tae Sik, you idiot. You were fooled."

Then the phone went "poof!"

Gosh.

How much did you invest?

- I invested 50 million dollars. - What? 50 million dollars?

Don't lie to me.

You don't have that much money.

Well, it was Jewang...

This is so frustrating.

So...

Hold on.

It's time for my medicine.

What medicine is that, Mr. Ju?

This? This is like living water...

that gives me peace.

I got it from abroad. It works amazingly well.

Are you taking drugs?

What? What do you mean?

That kind of drugs. Yes, I am.

I should've known when he said 50 million dollars.

Don't tell anyone else what you said or you'll be arrested.

What do you mean?

Why would I be arrested?

Quit doing drugs if you don't want to be arrested for illegal drug use.

He's very delusional.

Jubasomol? Madam Black?

You think they're real because you're high.

What a waste of time.

Hey, you. Hey!

What? I'm delusional?

I am not.

This is true!

Darn it.

Now that Ha Jun knows about Na Yeon, I don't have time.

He'll try to get rid of me.

I have to make the chairman hate him...

and fire him as president.

I need to give DDM Venus a huge launch and make it succeed...

so that Ga Heun's new brand won't dominate Jewang Fashion.

Mother, I'm here.

Hi.

Here.

This is our weapon to destroy Ga Heun.

My gosh.

Are all of these from DDM Queen?

Yes.

DDM Queen is me, so they're my designs.

What do you think?

Good.

With these, we can surpass Hwang Ga Heun's Mapsy's sales...

without a problem.

Why don't you get Mr. Kong to confirm again?

May I?

I want to see him faint from shock.

You'd better hold on tightly to DDM Queen.

I'll give you the 500,000 dollars.

What has gotten into you? You flat-out refused last time.

Ha Ra came to me recently and said to be good to you.

And your dad said he'll get double my money this week...

from his investment.

So I can use company funds for now.

Ha Ra said that?

She must be scared stiff that I'll show Mother the video.

DDM Queen was right.

But she dumped you after the plagiarism incident.

Can you trust her?

Find dirt on her.

That way, she can't disrespect you.

Mr. Kim!

That's right. She's a habitual embezzler.

She uses company funds as she pleases.

(Voice Recorder)

Did you call?

Yes. Transfer 500,000 dollars to Se Rin right now.

Yes, ma'am. I'll take it from the department budget like before.

Mother. The department budget? Are you using company funds?

What choice do I have?

Your dad used my entire slush fund.

(Stop)

Right. He said he'll get it back this week for sure.

He'd better.

I'll use that money and give my all to launch DDM Venus.

The person you have reached...

Seriously.

Why won't Dr. Choi answer his phone?

This is driving me mad.

Is he in on it too?

Whom do I consult about being conned out of 50 million dollars?

Hold on. Information?

Dr. Choi.

No.

Hello?

Hello. This is the Central District Prosecutors' Office.

Are you Ju Tae Sik?

Yes, I am.

How do you know my name?

We arrested a financial fraud ring...

and confiscated ATM cards and bank books.

We found a bank book in your name.

Once we confirm that you were a victim,

we'll remove you from the list of suspects.

Will you help with the investigation?

Yes, of course. Yes, I will.

Please tell me your account number and current balance.

We are working with the Financial Supervisory Service.

You must transfer the balance to the account number I'll give you.

Then... If I transfer it over to that account,

can I get my 50 million dollars back?

Are you insane?

This is voice phishing!

What's wrong with you?

Why did you hang up?

He's going to get me my 50 million dollars back!

Get you the 50 million dollars back?

Wait...

Dad...

Did you... Did you get scammed out of that money?

Se Rin... Life is so hard.

I lost Ms. Geum's 50 million dollars.

What do I do? My gosh.

What? Are you serious?

Gosh.

Hey! Se Rin!

Se Rin. Se Rin!

I assume you didn't tell anyone about what happened yesterday...

between President Oh and Vice President Geum.

Did something happen yesterday?

That?

The two of them got into a huge fight...

- and he grabbed her neck... - Shut it!

I like your attitude.

You serve a special businessman who controls the national economy.

Protecting them is our duty, our calling, and our lives.

May I take notes as you speak?

Of course.

What...

There is an ironclad rule passed down for generations...

from past personal assistants of chairmen.

I think it's time to share that with you both.

Yes, sir.

Be deaf for 3 years, mute for 3 years, and blind for three years.

Then our VIPs will be pillars of society.

Let's recap. How many years?

- Deaf for 3 years. - Mute for 3 years.

- Blind for three years! - That's right.

I ask again.

Did you see anything yesterday?

- We didn't see anything, sir! - That's right.

Also, there are ranks even among personal assistants.

Mr. Kim works for Ms. Geum, who misleads the chairman.

He has strayed from the path of a true personal assistant.

If President Oh is named the successor,

Mr. Kim will be fired instantly.

Understood?

I've transferred the 500,000 dollars to Ms. Ju Se Rin.

I made sure it can't be traced.

Good work.

You've spent over 2 million dollars on the new brand from the budget.

What do you plan to do?

We need to refill it before the chairman finds out.

I'll get 50 million this week anyway.

Mr. Kim. Move that balance to Ha Jun's expense account.

Which expense account?

Business promotion or reputation management.

Make it look like it was used on that.

And report it to the chairman right now.

Pardon?

Yes, ma'am.

Ha Jun.

Even if you were angry,

this is no way to treat your stepmom.

The father should teach his son.

What? He spent two million dollars in expenses?

That punk.

Does he think money grows on trees?

Where is he?

He hasn't come in yet. I'll call him.

Darn it. That punk.

What's wrong, honey?

That punk Ha Jun spent two million dollars in expenses.

How long was he president, that he spent that much?

Gosh.

He must be going clubbing and to bars again.

Honey.

I'm too scared of my grown son coming at me now.

I'm too scared to say anything anymore.

What happened to your neck?

Did that jerk Ha Jun do that?

Honey.

The thing is...

I scolded him a little,

and he...

He started to strangle me.

I was so scared.

I thought he was going to kill me.

That jerk.

Grandma. It was hard, wasn't it?

It must've broken your heart...

after finding out about Mom.

You couldn't even tell me or Father.

But... I couldn't tell Father yet either.

Poor Ha Jun. You found out.

My poor baby.

It must've killed you inside.

Grandma. What should I do?

If Father...

finds out Stepmom killed Mom,

he'll probably collapse like you did.

I really don't know what I should do.

Ha Jun.

Your father needs to know.

Even if he suffers in pain for his remaining days,

that's his lot in life.

You need to get yourself together and get rid of the evil witch...

at least for me and your dad.

Grandma.

Where's Ha Jun?

Father. What's wrong?

Like you don't know?

It's bad enough you spent company funds like your own money.

How could you do that to your mom's neck?

Do you really think you're qualified to run a corporation?

Calm down, honey.

Ha Jun. This is what happens if you try to attack me.

Your dad has believed everything I said for 30 years.

You should realize that.

Are you doing this again based only on her words again?

Do you know what that woman did to my mom?

- Ha Jun! - What? "That woman?"

- How dare you... - How long...

will you let her play you like a fiddle?

Snap out of it!

Bong Sook saw Stepmom...

kill my mom.

What are you talking about?

What is he talking about?

I just asked a question! What is he talking about?

Mr. Chairman.

Let me tell you that myself.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

All of this is my fault. I was negligent.

What are you talking about?

We shared a secret for 30 years.

Dr. Choi didn't come in again?

You jerk! I'm glad you're here.

You're in on it, aren't you?

Is there something Mom is keeping from me?

Dismissing President Oh?

I'll help Ha Jun get revenge my way.

I have to get rid of what remains of Eun Jo's heart from Ga Heun.

Get engaged to Ga Heun.
