[Bloody Romance]

Then, you went to Bi'an Chamber?

Yes.

The Guajian Grass mission was given to the two new girls.

Which of the girls do you like better?

Chuixing Tower has already given all the information on the Guajian Grass and Shen Mo

to Wan Xiang. She clearly belongs to Cha Luo already.

Cha Luo has always liked the stronger ones.

Wan Xiang is indeed stronger.

The first bamboo shoot to sprout may not grow the tallest.

You've become so good at speaking now.

All right, since you like Wan Mei,

give the things inside this bamboo tube to her.

Go and come back quickly. I need you to do something else, too.

In this bamboo tube is a stick of incense.

Its smell is very similar to the smell of the Guajian Grass.

Who let you come in?

I didn't come to help you bathe.

I came to help you change your appearance.

Miracle healer Shen Mo has a strange habit. There are three groups of people he refuses to treat.

He will not save poor people.

He will not save failed merchants.

And he will not save someone who isn't extremely beautiful.

Within those three, only the condition of beauty

is one where you can find a chance. Don't worry.

If I dare to show any signs of disrespect,

may I suffer torment ten times worse than death.

Master, you were born with beauty and there is a sense of naivety about you.

It is quite nice. But because your family was poor,

your figure, skin, and hair,

- are all not that great. - I...

In the past, I'd never even seen clean bathing water before.

Even during the new year, my father and little brother would wash first.

Once I got to wash, there would be a layer of dirt on top of the water.

- What are you doing? - Taking a drop of blood

to put in the Yunni Cream that Miss Liu Guang gave you.

You'd best not know what it was made with.

It hurts and itches a little bit.

What is this scent? Cypress wood?

There's also a rusty scent. Is it an herb?

This is the scent of the thing you need to get, Guajian Grass.

Yunni Cream is extremely effective. It can make your skin glow,

but it will not last very long, and you cannot use it too often.

The City Master did not allow residents of Qiantong to send any more information.

Yue Ying was the one who sent this incense stick over.

You must remember this smell. This smell and you

are our only hope for completing this mission.

Then... then what if...

What if I fail?

I think you've already seen

the Red Demon umbrellas hanging above the Bi'an Chamber.

If you fail, I'm afraid before your umbrella even turns red,

it, too, will already be hanging up there.

I'm someone even Hades doesn't want.

I definitely cannot die again!

- Please come inside! - Congratulations.

Master Zhao gives a chest for your birthday present.

Thank you.

I, of the Liu family, present my humble gift. Miracle Healer, please kindly accept my gift.

Please.

[Target: Shen Mo]

[Age: 30]

[Title: Miracle Healer of the Jianghu realm]

[Description: Often falls for beautiful women]

[Difficulty: Three out of five stars]

- I am Tan Xiang. - I am Tan Mei.

- Miracle Healer, we wish you a happy birthday. - Miracle Healer, we wish you a happy birthday.

A thousand-year-old fragrant sandalwood block. Not bad.

Then what about you?

It appeared!

[Mo]

Good!

Beautiful!

Impressive! That's amazing!

I have embarrassed myself.

There are thousands of treasures in this world,

but none compare to Shen Mo.

Good! You are very sincere.

I like it.

- Miracle Healer! - What's wrong?

It seems like one of my little sister's flying needles hit me just now!

Being hit by a needle could be very serious! Where did you get hit?

It's in... an inconvenient spot!

All right, the silver needle has been pulled out. Your sister didn't use much force,

so it didn't hit any organs. You are fine.

I was so scared!

That little sister of mine! She's always so careless!

She created trouble for you!

I've never found beautiful women troubling.

You don't think that I'm troubling,

or my little sister?

You really stumped me with that. You two sisters each have your grace.

There's no need to decide who wins and who loses.

Even if we are sisters,

in front of the man we both admire,

we must still compete

to see how important we are to him.

Big Sister! Big Sister!

- Big Sister! - I'm okay,

but the Miracle Healer says he needs a little longer to pull out the needle.

Wait outside for me.

It seems like you are tired of the socializing outside.

I am very good at creating fragrances.

Why don't... I make one for you?

I can also give you a massage.

How about it?

You really know how to mix fragrances. You used ordinary materials,

but this smell is so unique!

It's because you have good fragrance material.

I suppose that piece of sandalwood I gave you

must not be up to your standards.

That piece isn't bad, it's just a little small.

I have one as big as half a child.

Its quality is much better than yours.

I have long heard that you like collecting rare treasures

and rare herbs. There are many collectible items

that are the only one in this world.

I wonder... May I have the honor of looking?

I have many rare treasures, but not many are the only one in the world.

Miss Xiang, which one are you referring to?

Naturally, it's the famous Guajian Grass.

I heard, if you have it,

even a person on the brink of death can come back to life.

The Guajian Grass is indeed very rare,

but it is not as miraculous as the legends say.

Originally, I could have let you see it.

But recently, I hid it in a safe place.

If you want to see it, it might take some effort.

Save me!

Did you cough up blood once earlier, too? Interesting.

Every time you cough up blood, a flower blooms on your chest.

What kind of strange poison is this?

- Men! Carry him to the medicine room. - Yes.

I don't have money...

If it were anyone else, I may not save them even if they paid a large sum.

But you are lucky today. I must save you.

Take him away.

You're not going to go see about your shadow?

He probably swallowed some poison he brought along. Naturally, he has an antidote.

When did Guihua City's rules change?

Even Shadows can have an antidote?

Your Shadow is so foolish. He'd rather give up his life to help you complete this mission.

Then he...

He wouldn't really be in trouble, right?

Why don't we split up? You can go visit your shadow

and leave the Guajian Grass to me!

Silly little sister, just wait to be captured here.

What smell is that? Cypress wood? There's also a rusty smell.

This is the smell of the thing you must get, Guajian Grass.

Cypress wood? A rusty smell?

No. This isn't the smell in the incense burner.

My master is saving someone! You cannot go inside!

I'm from the Five Poison Sect! I recognize this poison!

Let her come in!

I only want to save him.

I don't want the Sect Leader to know I revealed the Five Poison Sect's secret.

- Go outside. - Yes.

Seven to Death! This is Seven to Death!

This is Seven to Death? Once seven flowers bloom, even a saint can't save him?

Your friend has already coughed up blood five times.

Five flowers have bloomed. The poison has seeped into his heart and lungs.

Even if I give him acupuncture, there is no way to stop the poison from advancing.

Then will he die?

Aren't you from the Five Poison Sect? You don't have an antidote?

I don't. I've only heard about it from the Sect Guardian.

Actually, this poison can be cured. I have some Xingsu Grass that could fight it off,

but it is risky.

Then, please try it!

All right.

He didn't do anything wrong! He doesn't deserve to die!

If he doesn't die... then you will die...

But he doesn't even know you!

Yet, he's doing his best to save you!

Help him up first.

Chang An!

Who are you?

Guajian Grass. Did you find it?

This is right. He really kept it by his side.

What are you doing?!

Step back.

You are very daring. If someone hadn't given us a reminder,

the Miracle Healer would have died in your hands.

We only wanted to get something, not to hurt anyone!

Please spare us!

So many martial artists are present. If we let you go, what would happen to our dignity?

Warrior Yang, Warrior Han, save me. S-Save me!

Two horses. I will count to three.

If I still don't see the horses, I will slash his neck!

One.

Two!

Don't! Don't! Young Master Yue!

- Don't hurt my master! - Young Master Yue, agree to it! Agree to it!

Prepare the horses.

What should we do?

Chang An!

Hurry! After them!

Chang An! Chang An! How are you doing?

The arrowhead is barbed. Break off the arrow shaft first.

Chang An, don't! Don't!

I already got the Guajian Grass! We didn't entirely fail in our mission!

Master, don't forget! City Master wants your life!

She will not talk logic with you!

But I'm your master! You must listen to me!

I can't do it.

At least... At least, I can't do it now.

You are the master. Then think about it.

How are we going to escape next?

Return to Shen Manor. Let's return to Shen Manor!

- Take care. - I'm sorry for such a scare!

I'm glad that the Miracle Healer is safe. I do not know much about martial arts

and my wife is pregnant, too. I will take my leave first.

- I'm very sorry. - Goodbye.

As long as you do what we say and help us to escape,

I swear that no harm will come to your wife and unborn child.

Your friend's injury is very serious. If you don't do anything about it, he might not survive.

I won't die. Be quiet.

We've already passed the city gates. Just a little bit longer, then we'll get out of the carriage,

and you can return home. Just pretend... pretend this never happened.

- What's wrong? - Master, there is someone on the road!

There's a pregnant woman in the carriage!

Who are you?

Robbers. We came for the Guajian Grass.

Robbing but not killing? That's not the way of Guihua City.

We only came for the Guajian Grass.

We had no choice but to hurt Miracle Healer Shen. Noble warrior, please spare us.

In the eyes of Guihua City's assassins,

are the warriors of the Jianghu realm really that forgiving?

Since you followed us all the way here, it seems you have no intention of harming us.

Or else, with your skills, you wouldn't have needed to follow us all the way out here.

You are quite brave. No wonder you are from Guihua City.

Where is Shen Mo?

In an abandoned house in the alley of the Shen Manor.

Why should I believe you?

All right, I'll believe you this once. Go back and tell Gong Zi:

My name is Fang Ge. This Guajian Grass will be my greeting gift to him.

No matter what he wants to do with it, he must remember

that he is now in debt to me.

While the entire city was looking for Shen Mo,

a group of guards was escorting a carriage in a rush toward the city.

No one knew who was sitting in the horse carriage.

They're coming. Besides the driver,

there are twelve people and twelve horses.

Yue Ying, stay here. I'll go meet them.

You dare to block Han Xiu, Minister Han?

Do you want to die?

Kill!

[Blind]

Celestial Star Battle Array. You are the Twelve Riders of Yan and Yun of Great Liang.

- Protect His Excellency and leave! - Yes!

Forward!

Take the horse carriage back!

- Gong Zi! - There is no one in the carriage?

Yes, there was only a golden Buddha statue.

Han Xiu has been secretly selling salt to the Liang military.

I think the golden statue is the payment for the salt.

Someone must have gotten ahold of his weakness.

That's why he leaked news of his solo trip

and also hired the Twelve Riders of Yan and Yun to be the escorts.

He thought it was a perfect plan.

Forget it. Clean up this area.

Melt down the golden Buddha statue. Don't leave any clues behind.

Yes.

That's right. Send a new face to Chuixing Tower.

Tell him that we'll pay him a huge sum to kill Han Xiu,

no matter the cost.

Wan Mei, you're here? Wan Xiang will be here soon.

Just wait.

Yes.

Your hands are so slow. Are you getting old?

I am getting old! It's because you don't like lighting lamps.

My old eyes are getting blurry and cannot see clearly.

You, go give that old geezer a light.

This skin will be made into a fan in the future.

What should I draw on it?

Give it a try.

After this butterfly was added, this painting looks so lively!

Not bad. You are quite intelligent.

Take him away.

Don't let him die!

His skin isn't bad.

If it was stripped even cleaner,

perhaps it could be made into a lantern!

You must want to know what that person did wrong.

He and his master fell in love.

His master is already immersed in the Rebirth Pool in Bi'an Chamber,

but he's not that lucky.

In Guihua City, girls and their shadows cannot love each other.

Miss Mei, you'll remember this rule, right?

I will.

That's good.

City Master, Miss Wan Xiang and her shadow Er Yue are here.

Have her come in.

The Shadow can wait outside.

Yes.

Also, Gong Zi and Miss Yue Ying are here, too.

- Have them both come in! - Yes.

Let's hear it. What happened?

I have already finished the mission and killed Shen Mo.

Miss Mei could have also completed the mission,

but her heart was soft and couldn't do it.

City Master! Chang An had already knocked out Shen Mo in his medicine room.

We were only one step away from killing him!

It was Wan Xiang who tipped off someone called Young Master Yue,

who broke in and ruined my mission!

When I found Shen Mo in that broken down house,

he was unconscious and had knife and rope wounds on his neck.

If you weren't soft-hearted, why would he still be alive?

The first rule of being an assassin is to be coldhearted.

Wan Xiang did well in that.

City Master, you taught me well.

Where is the Guajian Grass?

City Master.

It's said that Guajian Grass is worth twenty years of internal power.

Congratulations, Gong Zi. You are one step closer to success.

So, you finished the mission together?

Precisely!

What should I do?

How about making them both Earthly Assassins?

But there's only one empty spot.

So there must be a victor between these two.

How about this? Have your shadows fight in your place.

You two will fight to the death,

until one of you wins.

Begin.

City Master! I accept defeat! I forfeit!

I give up! I accept defeat!

Do you know the meaning of your words?

Servants, come! Wan Mei failed her mission. Take her to the Rebirth Pool in Bi'an Chamber.

Her shadow, Chang An, failed in serving two masters in a row.

Send him to the Torture Chamber!

- Yes! - Yes!

City Master!

Wait!

What? Miss Yue Ying, you have an objection?

I am just curious.

If Miss Wan Xiang had gone out alone and killed Shen Mo, but didn't get the Guajian Grass,

how would you have decided?

There is no need to discuss what didn't happen.

Wait!

Miss Yue Ying, are you challenging me, the City Master?

I do not dare! It's just that Gong Zi was the one who sent Miss Wan Mei here.

If she failed in her mission, I have nothing to say

and you can do as you'd like. But Miss Wan Mei did obtain the Guajian Grass!

That counts as finishing half the mission.

Shouldn't you ask for Gong Zi's opinion?

Even Gong Zi hasn't said anything yet.

A Supreme Assassin like you has no right to tell me what to do!

- You... - You have no respect for rules!

My words

will never be reversed nor taken back

unless... it thunders in winter and snows on a clear day.
