[Bloody Romance]

In 907 A.D. Zhu Wen, the king of Liang, became emperor of the Tang Dynasty

and invaded Jin with troops.

Li Ke, King of the Jin Dynasty, refused to recognize his regime and continued to use the name of Tianyou in the Tang Dynasty.

He raised the flag of the Tang Dynasty in resistance of Liang.

The darkest period in China's history, the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms started.

For a hundred years there were swords and wailing.

In this dark age, a mysterious assassination organization emerged.

Wandering between military and political, they killed the extravagant and those who disregard human life.

Some said this story was clearly made up to appease the people.

Others have said this organization has existed since the Tang Dynasty.

Some say that the assassin is just one girl

who can draw the human spirit away with a slight smile.

Some also say the assassin is a group of women

with different shapes and sizes.

The only thing they have in common is that they carry red umbrellas

that are covered with golden flowers.

[Episode 01]

Here! Work harder!

Hey, come here!

- More people! - Over here, over here!

- Hurry! Farther up a bit! - Okay, okay.

- Stop, okay. - You can. You can.

Hurry up!

Start work!

Work started. Go, go, go!

Hurry!

Don't crowd!

Stop crowding!

Slow down! Step aside. Su Qixue, come ever here.

You got the final job for today.

Thanks, Brother Bing.

- Why did she get it? - What's going on?

Do you know what you have to do today?

I know, bury a dead person. I will...

Don't crowd!

I want it, too! I want it, too!

Easy, easy...

I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It's all my fault.

It's all my fault that you can't even rest in peace.

Dad, Xiao Ba, I'm home.

You're back?

Sister, dad borrowed some rice today and made so much porridge!

Xiao Ba, look. I got so many taros from working today. Have a taste.

I don't like taro, it gives me acid reflux. I want porridge.

Are you going to eat porridge, too, Older Sister?

I won't. I'm not hungry. You can drink it.

Dad, there's no more water. I'll go get some.

Wait.

I have a package of herbs. Take it to the town Dingxiang Pavilion and sell it.

What herbs? Dad, I even used the dregs and made them into sachets.

I told you to go, so go right now.

Dingxiong Pavilion is across from Baicao Clinic.

The herbs are in the basket.

- Xiao Ba, Xiao Ba. - Sister.

Once I sell these herbs for money, I'll buy you snacks. Okay?

Okay! I'll wait for you to come back and have porridge, Sister.

Qi'er, take this. Eat them on the way if you get hungry.

Okay.

This tastes so much better than porridge.

[Dingxiang Pavilion]

- Look at this person! - Really!

What are you doing?

I'm here to sell herbs.

If you're selling herbs go to the clinic across the street.

Hey, wait a minute.

My dad told me clearly to bring this packet of herbs to the restaurant across from the clinic.

Restaurant?

Is your dad Su Wang from Yaowang Valley?

That's right.

Oh.

I see.

It's a pity to sell your blood.

Don't touch me. I'm just here to sell herbs.

Is this the packet of herbs your dad sent?

Silly girl, what your dad is selling is you!

- Is he even your biological father? He sent you directly to me. - Let me go!

Let's go!

Lieutenant Huang, shall we begin?

First scene: Zhao Jun goes out to the frontier.

Pretty good, huh?

If you would like, General, I can have them come down right now.

I'm just a lieutenant.

You don't have to use those fake displays of affection to curry favor with me.

Lieutenant Huang doesn't like it. Switch!

- Put me down! - I have to settle accounts with you!

You are mistaken. Let me down! You're definitely mistaken.

- Didn't you see the bag of rice your father brought home? - My dad would never sell me!

Rice?

Is it possible your dad didn't even feed you one last time before he sold you?

In my dad's eyes,

I'm not even worth two bags of rice.

Listen to my advice. At least, here, you'll eat your fill and be warm.

It's way better than

living hand to mouth out there.

Don't touch me!

- Don't touch me! I want to go home! - Where do you think you're going?

"Galloping Horse Treading on a Pair of Swallows." If you like these girls, I can send them all to your room, Lieutenant Huang.

What are you doing?!

Taking your blood! It's said that a virgin's blood can cultivate immortality.

- It's worth gold in the market! - Let go of me!

Poor people live despicable lives! It is not your choice whether to live or die.

Just accept your fate!

Let go of me!

If you don't even like Fei Tian, there is nothing I can do!

What is going on?

Stop!

Let go of me! You've got the wrong person! I don't belong here!

- Let go of me! You've got the wrong person! - Stay still!

- I don't belong here! - Behave!

Go!

I'm sorry, General Huang! I deserve to die!

I'll have her.

Does she not belong to your Dingxiang Pavilion?

She is! As long as you like her, I'll clean her up right away!

I'll send her to your room!

Don't come over! I'm not selling myself, I don't belong here! They've made a mistake!

One way or another, it doesn't matter.

Serve me well, then leave with my military of Great Liang.

I'm not selling myself! And I won't follow your military!

You have no choice.

I've seen many beautiful girls before.

What are you doing?

- Let's talk about your legs! - Don't touch me!

They're white and strong!

Don't touch me!

What are you doing?

Who told you to come?

Interesting!

Little girl, are you afraid?

Did you come alone? Or did Madam Yun send you?

You are Huang Yong, Lieutenant Huang?

Precisely!

Then you also led troops to destroy the Yan family in the west of the city?

What Yan family?

In this city, as long as I have money, then everything is mine.

Did you hear that?

He's from the Liang military and just scored a victory.

He destroyed a city, too. From now on, all the girls he chooses

will be taken into the military camps. There,

none of the girls will live beyond three days. Of course, that includes you.

No! I don't want that!

Let's fly together! Come with me!

Like a mayfly, you will die a quick death.

How interesting!

You've killed too many people. Someone paid his entire life's savings in exchange for your life.

The lieutenant is yelling so loudly!

Of course! How long has it been since we have seen women?

I hope these two hours goes by faster!

Then we can give it a try, too. Right?

He...

He's dead.

Yes, he's dead.

What will you do?

You are the only one in this room. In your opinion,

who will his soldiers think killed him?

You killed him! Why must you frame me?

Little girl, I just saved your life!

Talk nicely!

Big Sister! Save me until the end! Take me away with you, okay?

Do you want to pay to save your life?

I don't have any money!

Then why should I save you?

If we were anywhere else,

I might have been kind.

But now, there are soldiers outside.

If I get into a fight with them,

I'm afraid they'll hurt me.

And I really hate pain.

So, little girl, good luck!

No, Big Sister! You cannot go!

If you dare to leave, I'll scream!

Scream then! There isn't a single person outside who can beat me.

But...

didn't you say you were afraid of pain?

Interesting!

How about this? I'll give you a chance.

If you can escape before sunset,

go to the graveyard in the western part of town.

Someone will be waiting there.

That person will be waiting for girls

who can give their lives to Guihua City.

Guihua City?

Big Sister!

Remember, you have until sunset! If you can make it there,

someone will take you to Guihua City. This is your only chance!

Come, drink some more!

Madam Yin! Where are you going?

I'm going to pour some good wine for your Lieutenant Huang!

Go on!

Come, come, come!

Drink!

Come, drink!

Lieutenant!

Stop and drink with us!

Where are you going?

Lieutenant, why do you smell like fragrance powder?

- It's right to smell like fragrance powder! - Lieutenant!

Stop and drink with us!

Lieutenant, I've brought you some good wine!

Lieutenant?

Help! Help!

Something has happened! Lieutenant Huang is dead!

Lieutenant Huang is dead!

Lieutenant Huang just went that way!

After him! After him!

Run!

Run now!

Master, the time has come. We should go back.

In the end, she didn't come.

Remember, your deadline is sunset!

If you can make it there,

someone will take you to Guihua City!

This is your only chance!

I, Yue Ying, have came late! Gong Zi, you must have been frightened!

There are so many who want to kill me. You can't always be next to me.

You didn't find Nine-Lives, right?

When I got to Qi Manor, the corpses in the yard had already been taken away.

I searched through the entire house. I found nothing.

I guess that the medicine was hidden with one of the bodies.

That's why I came to the graveyard to take a look.

It's not your fault. I received news just as you left.

The news said the bodies were brought here.

Nine-Lives is manufactured from 100 gu poisons. If it is really here,

the gu fireflies can definitely feel it.

Nine-Lives isn't here. Let's go.

It seems like there is someone over there!

No!

When I was attacking those assassins, she was already there.

Gong Zi, you mean...

From the sound of her breathing, she should be very weak.

She is about to die, yet she insists on fighting.

How interesting.

Is she dead?

Not yet, but there is nothing more interesting to see.

But she! But she...

There are so many pitiful people in this world,

so why bother with saving her? Go call the carriage driver.

I didn't think you'd care about her survival so much.

All right. Come look again tomorrow.

If she is still alive, then take her back to Guihua City.

Poor people have despicable lives! It is not your choice whether to live or die! Just admit your fate!

That is a woman's paradise,

but it is also the purgatory of all feelings.

No! I cannot die!

I must live! I must live! I cannot die!

This umbrella... You are...

I am from Guihua City. Everyone in the Jianghu realm calls us Ghosts in Red.
