to show everyone how brave I am,

But now I'm thinking it's not that at all.

This definitely says "fearsome."

And a fearsome spell makes everyone afraid of you!

When you're fearsome,

everyone who looks at you

sees the thing they're most afraid of.

she sees a baby cow! And Poppy hates slime!

And Demi's afraid of... tubas?

Uh, yeah, something about them being too shiny.

The good news is there's a counter spell

to break the fearsome spell.

Great! The bad news is

for the counter spell to work,

the person who's fearsome that's you

needs to take a hair from a bat. The good news is,

Vee happens to be a bat. Uh, but right now,

she thinks you're a terrifying, adorable baby cow.

So I guess that's bad news, too.

You have to find them and tell them what happened!

I just hope they're not too scared to listen.

[Vampirina] We need a plan.

Um, I'm gonna live a nice, cozy afterlife

in this spacious closet. Away from all scary tubas!

[sighs] And I'm sorry. I shouldn't have

done that spell. I was just trying to be braver.

even though you could've been poofed out of the house forever!

Vee's right. You're perfect just the way you are!

I like being brave, but if I had been

just a little scared, I probably wouldn't

have messed with the spooky spell book at all.
