West-End Tattoo

It has to be light, like flying

No...can't fly

It has to stay close to my heart

Its colour too, bright red; the same as of my heart

What time is it?

Be patient, don't move

How can I not move?

I'm not afraid of pain

but you're breathing on my stomach

What time is it?

Ten minutes to four

I'll come tomorrow for the colour

Do you know what colour I want?

Red, like your heart

Good.

He has a good aim with dagger

Not bad

Siao Mau, let's go, we're late

Give it back to me

I'm sorry

Kindly tell the Commander

to wait patiently for the good news

The Commander knows that you'll keep your word

and he has no other plan

What's he got to worry about?

Liu Shou Yi is after all a man of some importance

Since he conspired with Commissioner Jin to help him

stage a comeback, he must have taken precautions

So please be extra careful

Although I'm not particularly good at anything

It could be said I am brave but not reckless

Please wait

Ren Lin, please see Mr. Shen off for me

Yes, Sir

Senator Feng, please

Brother

Go in quickly, master is waiting for you

Yes

Please

Is he your brother?

Yes, he's my younger brother Ren Jie

Master likes him and has taken him as his foster son

Indeed a young hero who lives up to his reputation

He's immature & causes trouble, please take care of him

It's good that young people have guts

Godpa, did you call me?

Ren Jie, you're back

Have you seen your brother?

He just saw a guest off, this person looks unfamiliar

Senator Feng who works for the Commander

is a resourceful strategist

Mr. Shen is a man of importance

but he's a man of no tricks

Brother Tang, do be very careful

when you are with him

Please enlighten me

Brother Gan is a man of...

Gan is very clever, much better than Ren Lin and I

But his loyalty to Mr. Shen

is not as much as yours

I'm just saying it

If you can alert Mr. Shen,

it would be much better

If you can't, you can just bear this in mind

Thanks for your instruction

Mr. Shen, you need not go

How can that be?

It's an important matter, how could I hide at the back?

You are a general, let us do the fighting

Besides, Liu Hing Bong is a hero

I ought to pay him respects at his altar

except that I feel sorry

his body might have to be disturbed

Godpa, it is rumoured

that Liu was killed by his own men

You know that too?

Really

There could be some truth in it, Liu Shou Yi is crafty

To ingratiate himself with Commissioner Jin

he would kill his own uncle

However it was rumoured I sent someone to kill him

Let's do it again

For the good of all, I should repay the Commander

For personal reasons, we should avenge Liu Hing Bong

Look who's here?

The Jian Nan, the "Rambler

You've come at last

Please.

Please sit

Mr. Shen, you know Brother Tang already

This is Tang Ren Jie, Mr. Shen's godson

You young heroes should get acquainted

We've met

Jian Nan, the "Rambler", your fame precedes you

Wen Bin said an excellent fighter has joined us

and we're all elated knowing it's you

You flatter me

Is everything okay?

Yes

Let's go

Well, are you alright?

Sorry, an old ailment

We all know the call of the Jian Nan, the "Rambler"

Once you cough, someone must die

Ren Jie, take Siao Mau to enter from behind

Be careful

Yes

Please

Such hypocrisy!

Mr. Shen, sorry, just official procedure

Shen Tian Hung is here

Shen Tian Hung is really something

he could do such hypocritical deeds

They've brought their own floral wreaths

Their own wreaths?

They could have been delivered by the florist

Siao Bao, go and see

tell the men to be wary

Yes

Mr. Shen, these wreaths.

They dare to ambush us

I'll fight them to death

Brother, it's all their men

Let's retreat first

and find a chance to kill them all. Come on

Quick, go inside, hurry

If you can't force the door open we won't have fun

Stab here

How many times have I told you

not to stab the belly?

Even if you disembowel him

he might not necessarily die

Go

Careful

Good swordsmanship

Passable

Good swordsmanship

Passable

Good hand technique

Passable

Good.

The matter is over

Though Liu Shou Yi got away

he's all alone

He's no use to the other side now

Mr. Shen, old Liu has left

we'll depend on you from now on

My dear, I am old

and will not meddle in other peoples' affairs

You should depend on him

Without him, how would we be here

to be with you?

Without Ren Jie's help

I would not be of much help

Ren Jie's gone

This kid

Siao Mau

At the back

What?

What, don't you know your brother

is involved with old Liou's daughter?

How do you know?

I do keep abreast of our peoples' sad and happy affairs

I'll find him, I owe him thanks

I'll go with you

Sir, are you really retiring?

This meal is a farewell dinner

How could I not go?

Godpa raised me up

How could I hide myself if he's in trouble

I don't want you to use your sword

I don't want you to fight

and I don't want you to get hurt

Hurt? I've been using my sword for so long

Do you see any scar on me?

What's that?

Actually I intended you to see tomorrow on completion

That is...

Hu Die (butterfly), your name, you.

Come, cheers

This way you can't be away from me

I've got you tattooed on myself

I've told the tattoo master

to make it appear gentle

It has to appear light, as if it could fly

but in fact it can't

This way you can stick with me for the rest of my life

You're a real simpleton

You know I am not stupid

Do you want to touch it?

Can I?

This is you

Tomorrow after they have applied colour to it

no one can ever take you away from me

May I?

Are my hands cold?

Rambler, our master sends for your presence

Ren Jie, everyone is looking for you

I'll be there

I don't like that guy

You mean the Jian Nan, the "Rambler"?

No, it's Gan Wen Bin, he creates trouble for my father

Really? Let me talk to him

No, I don't want you to get into trouble

Although you are known as the Rambler

but this time I really hope that

you can stay here

Ah Shiou is no ordinary woman

Shen Tian Hung, you didn't expect this did you?

Godpa, brother

Lights, turn on the lights, what's going on?

Shit, aren't you dead enough?

He's already dead

Godpa

Godpa

Master...

This is not the time for grief

Let's hurry and make some preparations

Something big happened during the day

This is after all a public place

Although we are familiar with the officials

they have to answer to their superiors

I'll go to the docks to chill out for a while

I'll take the blame for everything

Brother, although he has the intention to retire

Now he's gone, we still have to continue on

so as not to be laughed at by others

Everything will depend on you from now on

2nd brother, I'll take the blame for this

Stop right there

No, we'll have to continue

You are the head now

To take the blame and escape will be my role

My absence would not have much impact for now

You're in charge of personnel and finance

and are indispensable

Ren Jie

Brother

L.l'll take the blame

Ren Jie

You were raised by Master

I know

Let's do it like this then

Leave here and go to the south at once

We'll tell the police you fled for fear of being caught

we'll bring you back after a year and a half at most

Ren Jie, I'll make arrangements with friends down south

regard to your livelihood, there'll be no problem

Not one word is to be leaked regarding matters here

Understand?

Yes

Go on now, hurry

Come, let's move everything here

Quick..

Move it

No money, and no letter

I don't know what you guys are doing

A couple of months have passed but there's no news

Why? Why try it the hard way

If they don't bother with you,

and if we are willing to take you in

young experts like you

as long as you are willing to work here

you will be treated well

I used to work with the gang

because I want to repay my Godpa

From now on I just want to be a good guy

Let me tell you something

There were some accidents at the pier today

If someone wants to mess with me

they'll see I'm no nice guy

Hey

Do you want to have a look?

Well? Okay, I'll let you have a look first

It's free

Go...

How dare you mess with me

saying that no money has been transferred here

You want to kill me just because of that money

No...not money, there's really no money transfer at all

Then why? Because I don't want to work for you?

I don't know...

Don't know?

Now do you know?

I just follow their instructions

Those five men.

Who are they?

They are your men

Liou Sung, why are you following me?

Ren Jie, you are back?

You are quick

Who are the five men you've sent to kill me?

They tried to kill me at the market

I don't know them

I...I don't know what you are talking about

Then why are you following me?

Did my brother send you?

He's here

Go

Siao Mau, you are here too

Ren Jie, you are back?

Siao Mau, haven't seen you for a year

Your weapon skills should have improved

Still stabbing people's tummy?

Ren Jie, what happened to you?

Ask yourself, why are you following me?

You want to kill me?

You are wrong, I was tailing Liou Sung

Ren Jie

Siao Mau, do you still rub your nose?

Ah San, you'd better go

I'll pay you for an extra month

If I've a store again, I'll hire you as store keeper

Hurry, take it

He is a nice guy

Since Gan Wen Bin became the head

I left the mansion

and used the money borrowed from my godma

to open this damn store which is

facing the bus stop. I've been hoping that

one day I'll see you come out from it

Early this morning I saw Liou Sung

and a couple of city bums hanging round here

so I decided to keep a close watch on Liou Sung

And there I found you

Sit, come...

Red bean soup, it's still hot

Ren Jie, you can't go back to the mansion

Do you mean my brother is gone also?

I haven't made it clear, he didn't go of his own will

he was driven away

What?

It was about half a year since he became the head

Gan Wen Bin vilified him

and everyone resolved to drive him away

What did they accuse him of?

Accepting bribes

Any proof?

Gan Wen Bin is responsible for finance, remember?

He's got all the papers

Even if my brother is wrong

Gan Wen Bin need not send someone to kill me

cut me & my finances off & have me watched

I know that. Since you two are brothers

maybe he's afraid that you'll take revenge

He's got me wrong

If my brother has done wrong

I won't side with him

Where's my brother?

He's done for, he drinks all day

and sleeps in the sewerage at the Nan Men night market

Maybe he's still there

I'll go and find him

Still want to follow me?

My store is closed

You had your fill of food & drinks & you wanna leave?

No wonder you were driven out

Brother

If you like wine,

I'll give it to you free

Attack

Go

Brother

Brother

Ren Jie

You are late, I'm done for

Did you really accept bribes?

Red bean soup

Gan Wen Bin falsely accused me

I've found that Master was killed by Gan Wen Bin

Godpa was killed by Gan Wen Bin?

So Gan Wen Bin set me up

and was certain that no one would believe in me

Gan Wen Bin conspired with Jau Hai Shan and Shiu Li

and incited Master to fight with Liu Shou Yi

Gan Wen Bin knew I would ask you to shoulder the crime

so after sending you away, he drove me out

With the support of Commissioner Jin

he, Jau Hai Shan and Shiu Li

joined force and merged their family business

to be under his control

Shiu Li now manages the Ying Chuen brothel

and Jau Hai Shan the Yung Hing Clothing Factory

What about Hu Die's father?

Old Liou is already dead

Possibly Gan Wen Bin got scared that he knew too much

and killed him

Where's Hu Die?

I haven't heard from her for almost half a year

How is she?

I don't know

Siao Mau

I haven't seen her since her father died

Hu Die

Mr. Gan asked you to go in

Ren Jie, you are back at last

Sit...

It must have been hard on you in the past year, sit

I know, it's unfair

Either your brother or me should have suffered

but you alone took all the blame

Many a time...you might not believe it

I wanted to ask you back

You should have done that

and my brother wouldn't have been so miserable

I'm sorry, I couldn't have done much for your brother

I don't mean to sound official but...

what had to be done had to be done there's no way out

You are determined, coming back as you have said

you should have let us make proper preparations

to welcome you

I dare not, I've had a bad experience

Is that true?

Those are the five fellows

who wanted to kill me at the southern side

Then there was Liou Sung at the train station yesterday

Last night someone was guarding Siao Mau's home

for the whole night

I've left for only a year

and you've become such an important person

I don't understand what you mean!

Ren Jie, you must have been mistaken

but you have indeed lost a lot

Let me do it this way, you'll manage

Chang Fu restaurant and its vicinity from now on

as my repayment for your loss how about that?

Whose idea is it?

Whose idea? Of course it's mine

I've taken over Master's businesses

and business at Tian Shing is getting better and better

Who endorses your qualifications?

You don't?

You're right

Gan Wen Bin, I have no one in my mind

and I don't want to take advantage of you

I just want to be a good guy from now on

Don't pretend that no one knows about your doings

Don't think that you have someone to support you

I'll find Jau Hai Shan & Shiu Li to settle the business

and you'll be next

I'll avenge my Godpa, just wait and see

And yes, you aren't fit for this

Madam...Miss, please, please help me

What is it?

Oh, so it's you

See where you can run

Ah Shiou, make way

She's from our Ying Chuen brothel

Don't mess around

Ah Shiou

I know that you were once Master Shen's man

Even now I'm still a member of the Shen mansion

Or rather Gan Wen Bin's goon

Ah Shiou, I have no time to mess around with you

I must take her back

I am not going back..

Damn, you sold yourself to me

You must go back

sshai

I used to work at the factory

Go

They cheated me, forced me

I don't want to do it...

Take her away

в– sshai

Let go

Ren Jie

Lin Ding Wu, you dare say you're from the Shen mansion?

I work for Mr. Gan

why would I not dare to admit?

Come, show your sword

Everyone says you are the best swordsman

I don't believe that

You can't even protect your girlfriend

and let her sleep with men every day

Why are you acting so proud?

What are you talking about?

Don't you have ears?

Run

What did you say just now? Speak

Hu Die

Where's Hu Die?

Ying Chuen brothel

Is she really there? Have you got it wrong?

Shiu Li said Hu Die is a good name

that's why her name hasn't been changed

Master

Is there any lady you prefer?

Hu Die

Room 10, Miss Hu Die, please

This way

Hurry up, okay?

What is it? Why don't you take off your clothes?

Ren Jie

Ren Jie, you are back

I thought I won't see you again

I've come back to see you take off your clothes

Ren Jie

I'm back to see my brother trampled in the sewerage

and to see you take off your clothes here

You know somethin'?

A Southern side girl once wanted to strip for me!

Come, I'll show you, it's free

You are no match for her, do you know that?

At least she knows she has to hide herself in the dark

Stop...Ren Jie

Don't call my name, I can't bear it

You've called thousands of men's names

When I call your name

I can only feel your breath

your passion, your fragrance

When you call my name, you can only mix my scent

with that of other men, which stinks

They said you sleep with over 20 men a day

I don't want to be mixed with them

I smell bad enough already

Ren Jie, kill me, I should have died

but I just hoped to see you once again

Just for once

Hu Die...

Never mind. It's good enough

to hear you call me, hold me

Hu Die, why are you...

It's worth it. I have suffered for so many nights

so many men, just to have you hold me once again

Ren Jie, it's worth it

Everyone please sit over there, excuse me...Follow me

You promised to show me your tattoo on completion

but you just left

On arriving at the southern side, I had its colour put

I took you with me all the time, stuck with you

Dad died, Gan Wen Bin took over Chang Fu restaurant

I couldn't pay for the store; I went to see Gan Wen Bin

He asked me to go to Shiu Li

He was the first one to force me

You were always in my heart

Your place in my heart never changed

After that it was Jau Hai Shan and his many henchmen...

You never changed, you were always in my heart

I just wanted to wait for you to come back, Ren Jie

I just wanted to wait for you to come back

You were always in my heart you never changed

Don't ever leave me please

I am taking you away with me

You've had enough fun, you should be leaving

Don't be afraid, I am taking you away with me now

We are leaving

Still acting, do we need tickets to watch?

Don't mind them, they don't dare touch you anymore

I am here

If you dare to touch my wife

I'll make you pay for it

Your wife?

Ren Jie

I am taking my wife away

If you dare to fight, come

Go

Ren Jie

Hu Die

Hu Die

Call me

Hu Die

Call me your wife, I like that

I am willing to die, hurry and go

Hu Die

Why didn't you cry for pain?

I'll let you try something else

Come

Scream, I'll spare you if you call me grandpa

Shiu Li

Mr. Gan

Who allowed you to do that?

Doesn't he deserve death?

It's my decision

not yours

You want to buy him out with Chang Fu restaurant deal?

Unfortunately...he didn't appreciate that

You talk to me like this?

What about it, Mr. Gan?

If you want to capture him, you must first induce him

Let's give him some advantage then wait for our chance

I don't have to beat around the bush

He's already in my hands now

I can kill him easily but

you caused so much trouble at the Ying Chuen brothel

Over 10 people were killed & the authority is alarmed

they'll say that we're unable to control the situation

I don't have so many tricks as you do

If not for my tricks, you & Jau Hai Shan

wouldn't be in your positions today, right?

You think you can fool me for what you've done?

You forced Jau Hai Shan's factory women

to work at the Ying Chuen brothel

then cheat by submitting an expense

saying you bought the girls

Gan Wen Bin, don't you forget

that without the help of me and Jau Hai Shan

you won't be in your position today

Now you want to repeat the trick you played on

Tang Ren Lin and put all the blame on us?

Damn, how arrogant

When you embezzled public funds with Ren Lin

and were afraid that you'd be exposed

you came to seek help from us, remember?

You wanted us to risk lives for you

and lured Jian Nan, the "Rambler" to kill

Shen Tian Hung

Come, want to raise a rebellion? It's too early

He mentioned about you just now

Maybe you also consider yourself marvellous

No...I don't...

That bastard Shiu Li always gets me into trouble

Just take this guy out and bury him

Yes

Tang Ren Lin

It's you

Master Tang, take it easy

Please, attend to your business as you please

It's so comfortable sleeping here

Master Tang, you'd better leave

or else don't blame us for being rude

Ren Jie, Siao Mau, it's Ren Jie

Ren Jie

Ren Jie

You have guts, just wait and see

Brother Tang

You are.

Jian Nan, the "Rambler

No wonder, your cough.

It's been a year

I've heard a lot about what happened here

so I came back and see

not expecting that...

Master Tang, you want to run?

You've got no place to run

Back for only a day,

and said go looking for Gan Wen Bin and Shiu Li

Don't worry, he's still alive

Over there

You go that way, lure them away

I'm taking Ren Jie away, hurry

Alright

Who is it? So late at night!

It's me, Jian Nan, the "Rambler

You're back?

Don't be happy so soon

You're collecting men's clothes

I take in men too

What do you think I live on?

Why didn't you take me in tonight?

I've been worrying

Never mind, I'm in abstinence tonight

It's a pity that he was beaten like this

The girlfriend has been sold to the Ying Chuen brothel

What?

His...Hu Die (butterfly)

I've met them both before

Did you say Hu Die has been sold to Ying Chuen brothel?

Who did this?

Who else.

if it were not for your good friends Gan Wen Bin,

Shiu Li and Jau Hai Shan

The happiest thing in my life

is that I haven't slept with the two of them

Look at this young lady

It was they who took her from Jau Hai Shan's factory

and sold her to Shiu Li's Ying Chuen brothel

What an evil misdeed!

Jian Nan, the "Rambler

What are you doing?

This Ling Tze

was brought here by Ah Shiou

We are going to bring her back

Go and tell Gan Wen Bin that Ling Tze will stay here

with me and tell him not to send again

idiots like you guys here

You're too dirty. Go ask Gan Wen Bin

if he'd want me to wash him too?

You killed Mr. Shen, my godpa

I didn't know that he was going to retire

and mistook him to be with Liu Shou Yi

You.

Brother Ren Jie, lie down

You killed my godpa

You saved my life, and I still owe you thanks

I saved you?

Yes

Oh, I was too naive then; I shouldn't have saved you

No need to regret

You know what I'll do when I recover

I know

I want to kill you

I'll wait

Alright, get lost, and don't come to see me again

Take good care of him

Ying Chuen brothel

Mr. Gan, Shiu Li is

responsible for all this

I sent the factory girls to Ying Chuen brothel

without getting any money in return

Compared to you

Tang Ren Lin and I have really been too mean

Mr. Gan

Alright...forget about the past

I need some more factory girls sent over this time...

Of course, this will not be on company's expense

It's good that you understand

You'd think that I've overdone in dealing with Shiu Li

No...I don't...

Let me tell you

we are no longer trusted by those above us

You might have heard that

someone has been recruiting men

saying that the Commander will be back soon

I've some reliable sources

Senator Feng is behind all this

Then.

That's why we've got to be very careful

and shouldn't let Shiu Li mess up

Yes.

Brother

Ling Tze, is Ah Shiou here?

She'll be back soon

When she comes back tell her

that I thank her for saving my life

Brother, what's the matter?

You'd better have some rest. Where do you want to go?

I'm leaving; Rather not be associated with Jian Nan

Brother

Don't bother me

Brother, I'll go with you, you've saved me before

I can't let you go away like this

without anyone looking after you

I'll hinder you

I know

Go to my brother Siao Mail's place

You'll like him

You're rising up in the world

It's just that opportunity makes someone a hero

People like us

won't talk about big issues

Do you really think that those war-lords are reliable?

They can raise you high up,

but can also plunge you down low

That's why I'm extremely cautious

Brother, please stay and help me

Mr. Gan, Tang Ren Jie has appeared again

Where?

In the lane close by master Jau's factory

Ling Tze's with him, our men are there too

Liou Sung, take some men and check it out

You must bring him back

How come Ling Tze is with Tang Ren Jie?

I said I want her to stay

Don't worry, she'll be yours when I bring her back

Thank you very much

I haven't made this trip for nothing

Go

Sleep here, I'll ask someone to reserve a room for you

I still have a date with Ah Shiou she's more my type

White handkerchief, cough

What's going on?

Mr. Gan, I told you that last night the man who rescued

Tang Ren Jie covered his face with a white handkerchief

but I didn't tell you that...

I also heard a coughing sound earlier

It didn't occur to me then that it was.

Where's Tang Ren Jie?

Back there

We've planned to ambush him here

No way out

I'd rather die here

I clearly saw them running in

how come they have disappeared?

Bullshit, scumbags

I'd like to see how you account for this to your boss

Go and find them

Yes

This is Yung Hing Clothing Factory

I used to work here

You are still saving me?

You are a hero

After settling the score with Gan Wen Bin I'll kill you

So I can't let someone else kill you first

Wen Ching, Shu Mei, Huei Ping, Li Ji it's you

Come help me save him

It was he who helped me escape from Ying Chuen brothel

Come to our dormitory

Alright...quick

Ling Tze, how did you escape?

That's right

Lower your voice

Brother Rambler, aren't you coming?

He is all yours, I can't bear female workers' dormitory

Female Dormitory

What happened?

Ling Tze, you're back, what's going on?

What happened?

Be quiet

Shh.Jf the supervisor hears us we'll be in trouble

Ling Tze escaped from the whorehouse

She was saved by this gentleman

Let's find a place to hide him

Ling Tze was sold

and took great pains to come back

We must help her

You've taken in the wrong guy

Run Rambler, they can't do anything to me

What? You are not coughing now?

Go

Where's Ren Jie?

Old Jin, how have I been treating you?

If it weren't for Senator Feng

I wouldn't be here

You are virtually my parents

I only put in a few good words

I don't have the power

Yes...It's mercy from the Commander

Good that you understand

Now the Commander wants you to run a small errand

how come you're stalling?

No, Senator Feng, let me explain

Don't bother

How many men have you found?

There are many, but only

twenty to thirty of them are good enough

That's fine

Senator Feng, Gan Wen Bin has many men] L ______ _______with him ______

Twenty to thirty is not good enough

I say it is

Yes, Senator Feng

It's Master Shen's death anniversary day after tomorrow

Gan Wen Bin will definitely put on a show

You can catch him easily

You mean by force?

Take him by surprise

Take these with you

Ling Tze, Brother Tang, your meal

I'm sorry, I've put in some pepper for you today

Very good, I like spicy food since I was a child

There was a mild wind and there's sand on the rice

Go...Go in

I don't want anything

Your dad has lost the bet

Get packed, what are you crying for...

Some men will be hugging you tonight

It'd be much better than hugging your pillows

Hurry...

Bring out your own stuff

Hurry

I've to rush back to the city after I am done here

Tang Ren Jie

Jau Hai Shan, I've been looking for you for a long time

C'mon, let's go in and have a look

Oh, the foreman is dead!

Burn all these agreements

and split the money amongst yourselves

Hurry and go home

Don't let them find you

Brother, I'll go with you

Ling Tze, I can't take care of you go home

May I ask..

Are you all sold to this place?

Yes.

The agreements for selling yourselves

Burn them all, go home

Jau Hai Shan is dead

I'll go and square the grudge with Gan Wen Bin

Ren Jie

Siao Mau

Ren Jie

Siao Mau

Go

Go

Today is the anniversary of Mr. Shen's death

Master Tang said that no matter how

he has to get rid of Gan Wen Bin

How did you find me?

Master Tang is guarding Gan Wen Bin's place

and I am at this end

Unless you are dead

you'll surely come and find them

Did you see the Jian Nan, the "Rambler"?

The "Rambler" guy has been captured by Gan Wen Bin

and Ah Shiou, too

Come

What are you thinking about?

It will be so nice if they

...tie us together

Why is that nice?

Can't have the man right in front of you; what a pity!

Oh, thank Heavens!

You're still saving me?

I owe you, you saved me twice

That's even, then

Yeah, that's even

-Siao Mau -Ah Shiou

Yes?

Siao Mau, take Ah Shiou home first

No, I want to follow you

Siao Mau

L.l've closed my store

I too like you following me but it's different today

I don't want you to get involved in our business

Tomorrow, next time, I'll find you

What's going on?

You've taken in the wrong guy, go

Siao Mau will bring you home

You'd better go, we're going in

Ah Shiou, go back yourself

What?

I must help Ren Jie

Place you bets.

Come on.

Place your bets

White tiger. I win

Not really

Gan Wen Bin, you're finished

Brothers, look at the sweat on his face

Gan Wen Bin, you and my brother engaged in bribery

and were afraid that godpa would find out

So you conspired with Jau Hai Shan and Shiu Li

to hire Jian Nan, the "Rambler

to kill my godpa

You also planned to sell out my brother

putting all the blame on him

You've taken over the Shen family business

conspired with government officials,

forced girls into prostitution

You're heartless & unrightful

I, Tang Ren Jie, in front of all the brothers today

will rip out your heart

Bullshit, what proof do you have?

Proof?

I am Jian Nan, the "Rambler". A year ago

Gan Wen Bin hired me to kill Mr. Shen Tian Hung

It's him? Let's go

Gan Wen Bin, prepare to die

Tang Ren Jie is seeking revenge

This is your family affair, and none of my concern

We must follow the rule

Only real kung fu is allowed

No guns

Siao Mau

Ren Jie

It's my fault. Bloody I got stabbed in the belly again

Siao Mau

Tang Ren Lin

Gan Wen Bin

Brother

Help me to Master's altar

Master, I've done wrong

and atone for my sins here today before you

I've killed Gan Wen Bin to avenge you

Brother

Jian Nan, the "Rambler

You've killed a lot of people today you're tired

No fighting anymore?

I should have spoken to you earlier but...

I felt that it'd be like begging for your forgiveness

Now I know that despite having the chance to kill me

..you didn't

I know that you blame yourself for not killing me

but I've wrongly killed Mr. Shen

And I regret this more than anyone else

I came back this time to make up for my wrongdoings

I've grown up in this circle and

like you, others see me as merciless

But I have never had peace in my heart

I joined Southern side national rebel force that year

You.

I was sent by my superior to get into this circle

To start from scratch & not be used by the warlords

I didn't know that Mr. Shen was a good person

and had intended to retire

So I deliberately accepted Gan Wen Bin's offer

to kill Mr. Shen

Later I knew that

I had helped Gan Wen Bin in doing wrong

That's why you rescued me?

Just the opposite

I did wrong again

There was a change in personnel among the warlords

The new lord had no trust in Gan Wen Bin

They organized another group

I should have made use of their opposing positions

and let them fight against each other

and shouldn't have helped you seek revenge

Today, Gan Wen Bin's men were here

the other party should have known this

This is the best opportunity to finish them all at once

The way I see it, they will attack today

And now I'm alone, up against a whole gang

No, it's going to be two

I fight for the revolution

for the wrongs I did; why should you.

I've to atone for my guilt, too

All my life I've been wrong right from the beginning

Ren Jie

C'mon, kill

Ren Jie

You are a true hero. These scoundrels.

have been destroyed in a day!

I mean, including ourselves. From now onwards

there won't be such bad elements in society

I am ever gratified. Could you help.

help me one more time, to pull out...
