(Episode 67)

This is my lifeline.

How dare you try to take it?

Seriously, Se Rin.

I thought you were Ga Heun.

Was it you, Ha Ra?

Hey, Ju Se Rin. What was that I just saw?

I told you to get rid of the video from when Eun Jo's dad died.

Why do you still have it?

I'm so glad I didn't listen to you back then.

Now, I realize it was wise of me to hold onto this.

You planned to dump it all on me, didn't you?

I'm going to show this to your mom.

If she sees what her daughter did,

she'll get rid of Ga Heun for me. Don't you agree?

Do you think my mom will leave you alone...

once she sees that?

Oh, well. Then we'll all die.

You and your mom too.

I'm not afraid of dying together.

I'm only afraid of taking the fall by myself.

Give me that.

Give it to me before I get angry!

Give it to me!

Let go!

Give it to me!

Wait!

Se Rin! Are you okay!

Ha Ra! What are you doing to Se Rin?

Wook Do. That brat tried to take...

everything that I have!

What? Rich people are worse.

Get out. Scram!

Se Rin. Think long and hard.

If that gets out, you're done for too.

It's okay. She's gone.

You kept the whistle I gave you.

Thank you so much for coming when you heard it.

If it weren't for your whistle,

she would've taken this for sure.

Call me whenever you need me.

I'll come running from the other side of the world.

Darn it!

My head's still ringing.

Mom will flip out if she sees it.

I told her to get rid of it,

but she kept evidence of us killing Eun Jo's dad?

If Ga Heun figures out that there's evidence,

I'll self-destruct before I can even start the war!

How do I stop that stupid girl?

Darn it!

If I show this to Ms. Geum,

will she really do something to me as Ha Ra says?

She wouldn't.

Did you really kill Eun Jo?

Kill Eun Jo?

What does she...

(I got caught for killing Eun Jo.)

I've lost my mind. Oh my gosh.

Did I tell DDM Queen when I was drunk?

Seriously, Se Rin! What is wrong with you?

What excuse do I make?

Darn it. Whatever. Just deny it.

I was out of my mind because I was drunk.

I felt guilty toward Eun Jo, who died,

and I said things that weren't true.

You'll deny it?

I can't allow that.

Servant. I made you the queen because I thought we were one.

How dare a mere servant keep a secret from her master?

Don't even dream of getting my designs.

Get lost.

No, my queen. I need the designs. My queen!

(DDM Queen has left the room.)

Oh no.

I'm nothing without her.

Oh no.

Se Rin said she's going to be arrested...

because she was caught for killing Eun Jo.

The only people who know about it are me, Ha Ra, and Na Wook Do.

I, Ga Heun, am the only person she's afraid of.

Se Rin.

Na Wook Do told you that I know, didn't he?

Se Rin would've gone to Ha Ra first since she knew already.

She would've demanded to know why she didn't tell her.

Ha Ra probably threatened her, saying she'll dump it on her.

They have a huge conflict between them now.

Se Rin won't go down easily.

Sorry I haven't been coming by to chat with you often, Grandma.

It's super busy being the president.

Also, I didn't tell you, did I?

Ha Ra hid Hoon again,

but we found him and sent him to Sun Hyuk.

You must miss Hoon too.

I'll bring him home sometime soon.

Ha Jun. I'm sure Ga Heun has a plan...

and didn't tell you about your mom's death.

But to be honest,

I'm worried to no end about how you'll take it.

I don't know if you can handle it.

Grandma.

I'll go work hard again today.

Don't you worry about me.

Get well quickly and get up soon, okay?

Did Ha Jun leave already?

He's saying bye to Chairman Han.

He is? That kid.

Keep a close eye on her.

Let me know first if she starts talking.

Also, don't let Ha Ra go anywhere near her room.

Who knows what she'll do again?

Don't worry.

I'm sticking to Chairman Han like glue and guarding her.

Hey, you. Geum.

I'm a Special Forces soldier sent by Hwaipeu Fund.

You have no idea how Ga Heun silenced Ha Ra?

You can see, but you're blind.

Ga Heun is the one you've got to watch out for.

No wonder Chairman Han said she was a treasure.

She's the best connection to have in my corner.

Ha Ra must've cornered Se Ra.

I have to find out...

what kind of power struggle they're having over me,

the one who knows what they did.

What do I do about Se Rin?

If I leave her alone,

she'll tell Mom or Ga Heun about that security video.

Hey, fake bestie.

How about a second meeting?

We need to discuss Se Rin.

She wants to discuss Se Rin?

Did Ga Heun figure out that something is going on?

Does Se Rin know who I am?

What do you mean?

She has no idea that you're Eun Jo.

That's sad. It would've been more fun if she did.

- What? - Se Rin has a big mouth.

You'll be the worst one off if she finds out.

So you'll have to stop her.

Ga Heun can never find out that Se Rin has a video...

of when Eun Jo's dad died.

You plan to dump it all on Se Rin...

if what happened five years ago gets out, don't you?

She'll get angry though...

if you discard your servant like that.

You had her drug me to kill my baby,

and you stopped her from giving my dad his insulin.

How do you know that?

Do you have proof?

No, I don't,

but there is an accomplice.

Se Rin is an accomplice and a witness.

If you plan...

to drag her into our fight, you'd better stop it.

Why?

She's a target of my revenge as well.

She should know that I'm Eun Jo and watch things happen too.

Or is there another reason why she can't join us?

Like what?

It'll be a pain, that's why.

Why are you getting so upset?

She must have something on you.

She does not!

Hwang Ga Heun. Don't forget our rules.

This is our fight. It doesn't involve Se Rin.

Se Rin has evidence.

Ms. Hwang, we're going to visit the shops.

I'm sure Se Rin has evidence of some sort.

Whatever it is, I must get it before it reaches Ha Ra.

I have to make Se Rin cling onto DDM Queen for help.

So, Ha Ra knows who Ga Heun is.

Bo Mi knows how Eun Gyul feels, but she's playing dumb.

Eun Gyul can't wait any longer.

Bo Mi. Eun Gyul has something to say.

- What's up, Ga Heun? - It's Ga Heun?

Bo Mi, I think there's a problem between Ha Ra and Se Rin.

Keep a close eye to see if they meet up.

What problem?

Did Se Rin figure out who you are too?

What? Me too.

I'm not sure,

but I think she has evidence from five years ago.

We can't let Ha Ra take it.

Okay. When I picked up Eun Gyul to come to work this morning,

Se Rin was still home.

- Yes, she was... - I'll go after work.

Me too. Please?

What?

Tae Sik told you to move out?

Yes. He says since I have nothing, I have to choose...

between living on the street and him.

He says let's live together for 100 years.

What do I do, Cho Shim?

I don't have a deposit.

Eun Gyul and I are about to end up living on the street.

My gosh.

Tae Sik is a selfish, materialistic scum bucket.

He's a total low-life.

Why would you live on the street?

You can live with us.

My gosh. I'm so angry. I just can't take it.

100 years?

Okay. I'll turn him into a 100-year-old skeleton now.

Hold on. What can I do to him? What should I use?

Hey, Soon Jung! Come here and pick one too.

What? Okay.

(Jubasomol)

("Paradise Created by Tsunamis and Earthquakes")

It still looks incredible.

This island will soon be mine, right?

You

It's time for my medicine.

Maybe it's because it's a new drug, but it's super effective.

Since I gave Soon Jung an ultimatum...

She has nowhere to go.

- She has to come to me. - Hey, you! Tae Sik!

I told you not to mess with us, didn't I?

Soon Jung, Fiery Pants, what brings you...

What is that now?

- Soon Jung. Lock the door. - Okay. Will do.

What...

Hey, you. How dare you oppress my friend?

Wait. Hey. This is assault, you know.

- You're the one who needs to stop. - Tae Sik.

I'll turn you...

into a 100-year-old skeleton today.

- Wait. Hold on. - Get over here!

- Tae Sik! - Wait.

- I'm sorry. Calm down. - I'll turn you into a skeleton!

Get over here. Get over here.

You jerk.

The online concert was very effective.

Sales went up as did our brand awareness.

It's nice to see results from the new brand already.

It's all thanks to the support you and the president gave it.

Thank you for burying what happened with Ha Ra.

I was very worried that word would get out.

Your fake friend strategy was smart.

Although, it would be incredible if you became friends for real.

If she had any intention of that, she wouldn't have annoyed Ha Ra...

to begin with.

I made up with Ha Ra...

for the sake of Jewang and Hwaipeu Fund.

The two companies are linked...

outside of our relationship after all.

Is the new brand's global business going well?

Yes. We've confirmed entry into a duty free shop in Dubai.

We're feeling out Europe as well.

How about DDM Venus which you're working on?

Is it going well?

Shouldn't you have the designs by now?

Well... Of course. We're working on them.

It's a new brand launch. We have a lot to consider.

You were so pushy with the new brand's launch.

I'm surprised to hear you say that.

Regardless, the situation isn't all that great.

There are people who suspect that Ju Se Rin isn't DDM Queen.

You must show them good designs to gain people's trust.

Tell Se Rin to rush.

It'll be meaningless if we delay any longer.

Okay, I will.

(Vice President Geum Eun Hwa)

Se Rin! When do you plan to launch DDM Venus?

All you did was set up the webpage.

How long do you plan to stall?

Come on, Mother.

Since we have the brand name and webpage,

all we need are the designs.

I'm almost done.

You just came out as being DDM Queen...

and made a grand comeback.

This is when we should launch DDM Venus to maintain that momentum.

That way, we can silence people who suspect you...

and doubt whether you're really DDM Queen.

Does someone suspect me again?

Ga Heun does, of course.

She's been walking around with her nose in the air...

ever since the new brand event.

She disrespected me outright in front of the chairman...

and questioned why the local brand isn't ready yet.

I can't stand to watch her acting like she owns the world,

so get me the pilot design right away!

Mother, the thing is...

Why? Is there a problem?

You said you and DDM Queen came to an agreement.

I have to tell DDM Queen my secret if I want her designs.

No, I can't do that.

I can't tell her that.

Mother.

I'll need half a million dollars to buy her designs.

What are you talking about?

Why should I give you that money?

You pressured my dad and took seven million dollars...

to develop the new local brand, remember?

That seven million?

I didn't even get to touch it.

All of it went right into the movie.

If you want money, get it from your dad!

He invested my 50 million dollars...

in some random project as he pleased.

If he hadn't done that,

we would've launched DDM Venus long ago...

and caught up to Ga Heun's global new brand's sales by now.

Mother, this is a bomb.

It shows what Ha Ra did five years ago.

If this gets out, not only will Ha Ra lose it,

it'll be hard for you to go on living as well.

I'm using every ounce of patience that I have to restrain myself.

Why aren't you saying anything?

Are you listening to me?

Yes, I am.

Just because you rose from the slums,

you think you're actually something and became arrogant.

You're just like your dad.

Mother! Watch what you say!

I say this out of affection for you.

You've just made a big mistake.

What? A mistake? Of all the...

How dare you try to lecture me?

Who would believe that Jewang Group's VP...

doesn't have 500,000 dollars?

Listen to her. She sounds just like Ms. Park.

Poor bums are all the same.

Hey. Do you think 500,000 dollars is chump change?

Even if you work like crazy without spending a dime,

you'd never save up that much.

Fine. You've tried my patience.

I need to show you something, so I'll come over right now.

Right now!

What... Goodness.

What does she want to show me?

Should I bring this to her?

But she dumped you after the plagiarism incident.

Can you trust her?

She's right. She's totally right.

Ms. Geum would dump me in a heartbeat.

She may even scheme with Ha Ra and dump the blame on me.

What should I do?

Should I tell DDM Queen my secret?

I need the designs.

No. I have to buy them with money no matter what.

This is too big a secret.

I have to take it with me to the grave.

What if Ga Heun really did find out everything?

Then my life may be over.

I'll go to jail immediately.

Whom should I give this to in order to stay alive?

Whom should I go to?

Is Se Rin not in?

No. Should I call her?

Don't bother. You may go.

Se Rin.

You won't take my calls and you didn't come to work.

You can't just go off the grid holding a bomb.

I have to see her so that I can resolve it.

Where's Ha Ra?

She just came home and went to her room.

She went right up without as much as a hello.

Where does she get her rudeness?

Why did she become so haughty...

after taking a day off without prior notice?

Ha Ra.

How do you feel today?

Gosh. You look terrible.

It must be because of all the stress.

Your skin looks dry.

- Let's get facials tomorrow... - Mom.

You don't have to walk on eggshells around me.

I'm fine.

I lost control the other day...

because I was so angry that you were being blackmailed...

for 30 years.

Sorry.

Okay, Ha Ra.

I'll keep Ms. Park under control.

So don't you worry about a thing.

Just focus on the movie.

I'm sorry too.

Ms. Park isn't on your side anymore.

She's on Ga Heun's side.

I'll get rid of Ga Heun so that your secret doesn't get out,

so don't worry.

Mom.

Did Se Rin say something strange to you...

by any chance?

Something strange?

Yes, actually.

I asked her why she wasn't bringing the designs for the new local brand,

and she demanded money from me. Of all the...

- So? - What do you mean, "So?"

Her dad misappropriated my slush fund.

I won't give her anything until I get that back.

Anyway, I gave her a talking to,

and she said she'd show me something and screamed...

as if she'd run right over,

but I haven't heard from her since.

So I just came home.

Gosh. What does she have, that she's talking so big?

Anyway, eat with me tonight.

I'll make your favorite goulash.

Come down.

Se Rin, why you...

You planned to show that to Mom?

Should I tell DDM Queen?

Or no?

She even gave me her DDM Queen character.

She'll keep my secret.

She may help me if I tell her that Ga Heun is digging into me.

(Ha Ra)

Se Rin.

Don't rack your brain about what to do with that video.

I'll tell you exactly what Ga Heun knows...

about us.

Come out right now. It'll be your loss if you don't.

I knew it.

You're sharing a secret with Ga Heun?

Fine. Let's find out what you're up to.

I pressured Ms. Geum regarding the designs,

but she didn't contact DDM Queen.

If Se Rin is this torn, it means she has something huge.

Ha Ra just left.

Se Rin just rushed out.

They both left at the same time.

Don't turn it on.

What? Are you trying to film a horror movie?

What I have to say is horrific, so maybe.

Whatever.

So what does Ga Heun know about us? Tell me.

What are the two of you keeping from me?

Se Rin. Listen carefully. Don't be too shocked.

Ga Heun is...

I'll tell her myself.

Why are you...

Bo Mi? Why are you here?

Se Rin.

Do you still not know who I am?

What? What do you mean?

You're Ga Heun.

Se Rin, Don't you recognize Eun Jo, whom you killed?

What are you talking about?

What do you mean, I killed Eun Jo?

Se Rin, I'm back.

No.

This is a dream.

Ga Heun... You're Eun Jo?

Ha Ra! Tell me it isn't true!

What is this all about?

Se Rin!

You have evidence from five years ago, don't you?

What is it? Tell us right now!

Se Rin! Don't you say a word.

Keep your mouth shut.

You... You all knew?

You knew that Ga Heun was Eun Jo?

You all knew?

Did you enjoy studying abroad after killing me?

What did you say to me when you won the contest with my stolen design?

"Why must I always play second fiddle to you?"

"I felt bad for your talent that you discarded..."

"and your designs that you didn't care about."

"That's why I referenced them a little."

"You don't want to study abroad anyway."

Why must I always play second fiddle to you?

I felt bad for your talent that you discarded...

and your designs that you didn't care about.

That's why I referenced them a little.

You don't want to study abroad anyway.

No, it can't be.

This is a dream. Eun Jo died.

This isn't real. It isn't real.

Se Rin. What...

was that juice earlier?

I'm sorry.

I... I... I drugged it.

Se Rin.

Why did you do it?

Why did you kill me?

Die. You should see what it's like to be on the receiving end.

Die!

Se Rin, I'm back.

No.

No.

What did she see that scared her so much,

that she's talking in her sleep and can't wake up?

Look at all that sweat.

- No... - Hey.

Gosh.

Should I take her to the hospital?

Is Se Rin still sleeping?

Tell her to take my call if she's awake.

She's not awake yet.

I appreciate you calling me to take her home last night,

but what happened...

that she was sick all night long...

and still can't wake up?

You didn't try to take something from her again, did you?

What do you mean? It was all for her sake.

Na Wook Do. Listen carefully.

You know the keychain that she always has on her?

Bring that to me right this instant.

She'll be in danger if she holds onto it.

Who? Se Rin?

Are you sure it's not because you'll be in danger?

Ga Heun found out everything.

She found out that Se Rin and I killed Eun Jo five years ago.

So that's what happened.

What? "So that's what happened?"

Hey. We don't have the time for this.

Once Ga Heun gets her hands on that, it'll be over for all of us.

So shut your trap...

and bring that keychain to me right this instant.

I understand you're scared stiff,

but Se Rin called for my help while fighting you to the death...

so you don't take it from her.

That means this is as important to her as her life.

I won't give this to you even for a gazillion dollars.

You have it with you, don't you?

Bring it to me right this instant!

I'll relay your message to Se Rin when she wakes up. Bye now.

Se Rin. Just looking at this whistle filled with my love...

moves me.

Ga Heun.

How dare you show yourself to Se Rin?

I can't let her get that video.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

The mothers are at the police station?

I'll settle if Soon Jung agrees to accept me.

I'll pretend it didn't happen then.

Does Se Rin have something on you?

You're just Ha Ra's servant. How dare you threaten her?

It's time for you to disappear, Se Rin.

What are you waiting for? Drag her out of here!

There was someone about to get married...

just before the president of Oman Group committed suicide.

Let's go for a drive.

- Just the two of us? - It was here.

This is where you left me, leaving behind this suicide note.

Se Rin. The evidence that you have...

is the video of my dad's death?

I'll make your dad pay for what you did.
