Unique Lady Season 2

Episode 6

It's a large amount of gold.

He took it.

I don't think

nobody else but me can get it done.

Mr. Shen.

What else do you want to say?

Come on.

You've repeated those words numerous times.

"Mr. Shen, please.

You must

cure him."

Enough.

Don't say another word.

I've heard enough.

If you keep doing that,

I...

I'll go back.

Okay. I won't say anything.

That's more like it.

Let's go to a restaurant.

I'm starving.

I need tasty food.

But he...

Oh.

I almost forgot you.

Stay in an inn and wait for us there.

We're going to the imperial palace soon.

We'll contact you

when it's done.

Okay.

Send a letter to me

if you're in trouble.

Trust me.

I remember what I promised to you.

All right.

Time to go.

Your Majesty, the candidate arrives.

Summon the candidate!

Your subject pays respects to His Majesty.

May Your Majesty live for ten thousand years.

You must've known you'd see His Majesty

when you took up the challenge,

but wearing a veil over your face here

is considered a serious crime.

You'd better explain clearly

why you're doing that.

Your Majesty,

as two guys from the Jianghu,

we're afraid we may get into trouble

if our identities are revealed,

so we chose to wear a veil.

We're here for two things.

One is to treat His Highness.

The other is to reduce your anxiety.

We want to do it for morality and justice

instead of fame or fortune.

Well said.

Few people can say no to the 10,000-gold reward

and high ranks.

They're mere

worldly possessions.

Are you sure you can cure my brother?

Numerous doctors have

come here from all parts of the country,

but they've all failed.

Your Majesty,

now that I took up the challenge

and came here to the throne room,

I'm sure I can make it.

But I also have a condition.

I hope you can approve it.

How dare you bargain with His Majesty?

Go ahead.

Your Majesty,

when I treat His Highness,

everything should be done according to my rules,

or I'd rather not do it.

Your Majesty, it...

Okay.

I agree.

You can get everything you want from the Imperial Hospital,

but I must warn you beforehand,

you'll enjoy tremendous popularity

if you cure him,

but you'll lose your life

if you fail.

If His Highness' illness takes a turn for the worse

because of my incompetency,

I'll save you the trouble of killing me

and commit suicide.

It's a deal.

You can leave.

Thank you. Your subordinate takes his leave.

Even imperial physicians and so many folk doctors

can do nothing to help.

I might let them have a try as well.

Did you investigate their background?

He's a highly-skilled doctor who's lived in solitude for years.

Just let them do it.

Got it.

Your Highness, here is the medicine.

Put it down.

Your Highness,

another doctor is sent here by His Majesty.

What title has he got?

It's said he's Doctor Wonder who has lived in solitude for years.

So many of them claimed to be miracle-working doctors, but they all failed.

Let him go back.

Your Highness, please let him have a try.

His Majesty said...

I said, let him go back!

I don't mind how soon I'll die.

There is still a girl in your mind.

Do you really want to die like this?

Your Highness, this is Doctor Wonder and his disciple.

How many doctors have been here?

Your Highness,

he's the 108th one.

You.

Get closer.

Your Highness,

let me treat you ASAP.

There is no time to delay.

Get those things out.

It sounds like Her Highness.

Miss,

you coughed so hard.

Drink some tea.

The tea is cold.

Let me get you another cup.

Luckily, Mr. Shen had the birthmark on my arm covered

and added a scar on my face,

or they must've recognized me.

Your Highness.

Sir, who is she?

She's my daughter.

She's been practicing medicine for over ten years.

I can't let him recognize me,

or his condition will get worse.

Your Highness, don't move.

Let me feel the pulse.

Mr. Shen,

you must cure him.

Your Highness, I've got a rough idea of your condition.

Young man,

go prepare

three centipedes, four scorpions and five vipers.

Will they be used as a cure?

Like cures like.

It's the essence of my prescription.

You're too young

to understand what's behind it.

Go get them prepared. Go ahead.

Got it.

Sir,

you said there is still a girl in my mind.

What do you mean?

I mean

your physical illness is not serious at all.

With me here,

you're sure to get cured.

However,

what really matters is your anxiety.

Whoever started the trouble should end it.

What do you mean?

Qinghua wouldn't show its effect

unless you miss your beloved

too much.

My beloved?

See?

You remember a girl, right?

I was there when my wife fell into the river.

How could I stop worrying about her?

Zhong Wumei,

it turns out you care about me so much.

Your Highness, you're loyal and sincere,

which is worth admiring.

But at present,

you should try to get better ASAP,

which is the most important thing for you.

Coming from a foreign land,

Qinghua can even destroy your bones and internal organs.

If I guess right,

many doctors would suggest

you take heartbreak grass,

which will suppress your feelings

and make you become cold-blooded.

However,

don't worry.

To cure you once and for all,

we just need one thing.

His Highness said

you can have a rest here.

I'll prepare those things ASAP

and take them to you.

See you.

Take a sit.

I'm starving.

It's a big meal!

Come on.

It's good!

I like it.

The little yellow croakers are fried perfectly.

Stewed Pork with Brown Sauce is my favorite.

Hey.

Enjoy it.

The meal

is not inferior to imperial cuisine.

I have no appetite.

Mr. Shen,

is Qinghua

really so horrible?

Let's talk about it later.

You almost ate nothing

on our way here,

right?

Now,

let me

get you a drumstick.

Come on.

Eat it up

and then we'll talk about that.

Eat it.

I'm done. Please go ahead.

Huh? It's too fast.

People say that

love makes us crazy.

It's not easy for us to forget a person

once you fall in love with him or her.

It's my fault.

You said something can save him. What is it?

Do you want to know that?

Okay.

I'll tell you about it.

Well.

Besides those venomous animals,

blood of his beloved is also needed.

Mix them up and decoct them.

After taking the decoction for 49 consecutive days,

he'll get cured.

49 consecutive days?

So,

are you afraid? It'll hurt, right?

No.

Comparing with the great pain he's suffering,

it's nothing. I'm not afraid.

It's for you.

In this case, you can give better protection to me.

Since you sent me the dagger,

I've decided to

protect you with my life.

Whenever, wherever,

I'll always be there for you

even if it costs me my life.

I want to stay with you

even if I have to sacrifice my dreams.

Let me love you

with all my tenderness.

...across space and time.

How is it going?

I hope there is still a chemistry between us

when we see each other again, just like the first time we met.

What are you doing?

I'm smiling.

You're ugly when you smile.

I know.

But you're beautiful when you smile.

Watch out!

I know it's you.

It's you!

Don't try to hurt him.

Don't hurt her.

You still want to protect her?

Go back!

Go!

I told you not hurt her.

She's the one I love.

You love her,

but does she love you?

She's taking care of another man.

If that's what you want to tell me,

you don't need to say another word.

I'll let you go.

It's...

It's him.

It's because your whereabouts has been unknown.

Damn!

If he finds out

you disappeared because of Lin Luojing,

he'll kill her

even if I don't.

You know well what he'll do.

I won't let him have his way

as long as I'm alive!

Do you know?

While you weren't with us,

we were fooled by evil people

and ambushed by the Guards

on the outskirts.

We've suffered heavy casualties.

Even our master is...

What happened to him?

I'll always treat you as my young master

no matter how you treat me,

but I hope you don't forget how we lost our homeland

just because of a woman!

You've said nothing to me

since you came here.

Why?

Your Highness, she's been busy running about lately

so that she's got a sore throat,

so she can't speak for the moment.

Oh. I see.

I'm tired.

You can leave.

Okay.

Your Highness, have a good rest.

Let's go.

You stay.

Who will you turn to

when you feel depressed?

I forgot. You can't speak for the time being.

Did anyone tell you

your eyes look like someone else's?

I lost her

because of my carelessness and childishness.

I own so many things,

but all I want is something

that can help me go back to the past.

I wish I'd cherished every moment I spent with her.

Zhong Wumei.

Luojing, can you hear me?

Dear gods, please tell her

that I'm asking for her forgiveness

and I want her to come back.

You stay with me

for another year

I'm a trapped beast. I love everything

you did in greeting.

She's been here.

She's occupied a big part of my heart

the first time I saw her.

Zhong Wumei.

After you say goodbye,

I turn around, with no end in sight.

All right. You can leave.

Loving you is the only reason

even if it's just a dream.

Please don't make me

feel like a fool waiting for you

and be forgotten forever.

My handkerchief.

I'll always treat you as my young master

no matter how you treat me,

but I hope you don't forget how we lost our homeland

just because of a woman!

Trust me.

I remember what I promised to you.

You're hurt.

I'll go to Mr. Shen.

Don't bother.

Get me more liquor.

Okay.

Here you are.

Are you okay?

Yeah.

Take your time.

It doesn't hurt

when I'm drunk.

I think you're special to me

the first time I saw you.

You're the light of my life.

You...

You're a star in my sky.

You've melted my heart.

I don't know what I'm talking about.

Why are you here?

I left my handkerchief in Zhong Wumei's room.

He knows that it's mine.

I'm afraid he'd recognize me.

I...

I planned to ask you to get it back.

You really don't want to be recognized?

Such being the case,

he'll suffer more

if he knows it's me,

so,

it's better not to be recognized.

It's good for everyone.

Luojing,

will you marry me

when we go to Persia?

What...

What did you say?

Will you say yes?

I...

Actually,

I shouldn't have let you come back.

Xiuwen, I...

It's getting late.

Go back.

I want to stay with you

even if I have to sacrifice my dreams.

Let me love you

with all my tenderness.

I want to stay with you

even if it's across space and time.

I hope there is still a chemistry between us

when we see each other again, just like the first time we met.

Luojing, you're my glass of wine.

Not me.

It's us! Let's pursue happiness and freedom together.

I'm willing to get addicted to you

and don't want to wake up.

But watching you leaving,

I think it's time for me to sober up.

Miss, it's time to take a bath.

Miss, it's for you.

I don't have the habit of using these.

Do you want to eat something?

I can get you some food.

Don't bother.

I have no appetite.

You can go back.

Don't you want to have some sushi?

I'm good.

I seldom eat that.

My Lady,

stop lying.

People here don't know what sushi is.

And nobody can make it.

You're the only one

who can make sushi.

If you're the doctor's daughter,

how could you know

what it is?

I...I mean

I don't want to eat anything.

My Lady.

I know it's you.

Do you want to abandon me?

I've been looking for you for so long.

Do you really want to abandon me?

My Lady.

You stupid girl.

My Lady.

My Lady.

I miss you so much.

Silly girl.

All right. Stop crying.

My Lady, your face.

Silly girl.

It's fake.

It's made on purpose.

My Lady.

I'm going to tell His Highness you're back.

No!

He's severely poisoned.

He may suffer unbearable pain

if he knows the truth.

My Lady, I'll never leave you again.

I'll follow you no matter where you go.

Xique,

I need you to do something for me.

Your Highness.

Xique, how dare you?

Why did you come here at midnight?

Answer me.

Why did you do it stealthily?

Do you want to murder me?

No, Your Highness.

No.

Don't get me wrong.

Make it clear.

I...I promised her not to tell anyone else.

Who is she?

She's...

She's...

She's Luojing!
