Unique Lady Season 2

Episode 5

No.

What does he mean?

It's not true.

It's not true.

Cry

if you want to.

He...

He abandoned me.

I...

I...

I thought

I found true love.

I even

treated him

as my only one.

I...

I fell in love with

a game character.

What on earth did I do

to deserve this?

Luojing.

You still have me.

I'll never leave you.

Being young, you drink to your heart's content.

The white sand on the sand bar

is colorful under the evening haze.

You're drunk under the moon.

What to do?

What should I do to go on?

Tell me it's not true.

He must be lying.

He did it for some other reason.

Right?

Yeah.

It must be like this.

Shengjing is a dangerous place.

He must've done it

to protect me,

right?

Right?

If you want to find it out,

I can go back with you.

Why?

I thought Zhong Wumei loves me,

but he abandoned me.

I don't love Liu Xiuwen,

but he saved me over and over again.

He'd even give up everything for my sake.

Is it destiny?

Let's get out of here.

What?

You said you want to take me away.

I agree.

Luojing,

are you serious?

After having gone through so many difficulties

and having faced so many assassination plots and attempts,

I want to stay away from them.

I don't

want to go back to Shengjing anymore.

We can leave here anytime

as long as you want.

Take me to Persia

when you're cured.

Okay.

Luojing,

I know you're depressed

and it's hard for you

to get over him,

but I'll stay by your side

no matter when and where

and no matter what you want to do

as long as you like it.

Your Highness,

eat something, please.

Your Highness,

eat some food more or less.

You haven't eaten anything for a long time.

It'll be too much for you to take if it goes on like this.

Your Highness.

Your Highness, good news!

Did you find Luojing?

Um.

Wumei,

I've got something to relieve your pain.

Your Highness,

it's really hard to get heartbreak grass in Shengjing,

but my father

has managed to take some pills back from Japan.

They can't cure you once and for all,

but they can lessen the syndromes.

Great!

In this case, His Highness

doesn't have to suffer great pain every day.

Miss Tang.

Your Highness.

No. Mrs. Jiang.

Thank you.

No worries.

Thank you, Mrs. Jiang.

How are you feeling?

Thanks to both of you.

When I get better,

I'll give a banquet to entertain you.

Okay. Wumei,

get better ASAP.

I'm looking forward to drinking with you.

Zhang Ji.

Got it.

You even prepared gifts to thank us.

Mr. and Mrs. Jiang,

His Highness has prepared

wedding gifts for you.

I hope you like them.

I have a headache.

I don't want to have dinner.

Without my order,

don't come in and bother me.

Yes, sir.

Xuan...

Nowadays,

it seems

to be a dead failure for me.

The hair clasp...

Luojing,

where on earth are you?

I've done so much for you,

but you still can't

get over her.

Your Highness,

hasn't Mr. Jiang sent guys

to pick up Her Highness?

I've known him since childhood.

He said that just to comfort me,

because he has the habit of blinking

when he is telling lies.

It...

Go ahead.

Got it.

Your Highness.

Wumei.

Wumei.

Wumei.

Are you feeling better today?

Mr. Lin, thank you for your care.

I'm feeling much better.

Mr. Lin, I wonder

what you're here for.

Luojing is missing

and you're injured.

As an elder,

I'm really worried about you.

Mr. Lin, don't worry.

Luojing will be fine.

What happened on the boat

was really terrifying.

Wumei, do you know anything

about those assassinators?

I've been staying at home and confined to bed

since I was injured.

I even think I've been cut off

from the outside world.

Your question is too difficult for me.

I'm so anxious as to be muddleheaded.

Those rebels are hateful.

I'm so worried.

I won't feel relieved

unless all of them have been got rid of.

Your Highness,

it's time to change dressings.

Mr. Lin,

I'm going to get the dressings changed.

Excuse me

Okay.

No problem.

Go ahead.

Your Highness,

obviously, Mr. Lin is here with an ulterior motive.

Why did you...

Zhang Ji,

is everything arranged?

Yes, it's all set

as told.

Your Highness,

Mr. Lin has left.

He said he has something else to do.

Anything else?

Your Highness, you have a prophetic eye.

Before he left,

he stole the token you got from the late emperor.

Luckily, we've substituted a false one for it,

or we'd get into big trouble.

He mentioned the death of my mother

to get closer to me on purpose.

I found something might go wrong

when he cast greedy eyes on the power of water transportation,

but I didn't have any evidence at that time.

Nowadays, he really let the cat out of the bag.

He must be the guy who broke into my room that night.

I think what happened on the boat

also has something to do with him.

How dare he!

He even tried to rebel.

Zhang Ji.

Here.

Let's go to see His Majesty.

But

Your Highness, you're still...

This is a serious matter.

I have to do it.

Got it.

Your Majesty,

Lin Feiyu's wild ambition

is all too clear,

but I hope you can

exempt my wife from being punished.

Wumei,

I knew

what you said.

Really?

One will leave traces

no matter how perfect his plot is.

Besides, he's eager for quick success and instant benefits.

It's more liable for him to betray his intentions.

But there is one thing I don't understand.

Now that those assassinators are all Persia,

what's the relationship

between them and Lin Feiyu?

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Hurry up. Summon the doctor!

Got it.

Don't bother, Your Majesty.

The pills from Japan

can only relieve the symptoms for the time being.

Wumei,

don't worry about anything in the future.

All you need to do is to get better.

I'll find a way to get you cured.

Your Majesty,

I have one more question.

Can you give me an answer?

I know.

You want to ask about your mother's death.

Under the circumstances,

I'll tell you the truth.

Actually, your mother felt very guilty

when the empress' brother committed suicide by imperial order.

She was often in low spirits and finally fell sick.

One day when she wanted to take her own life,

the late empress happened to see it and tried patiently to talk her around.

But unexpectedly, people got it wrong and thought they had a fight.

As soon as the late empress left,

your mother

committed suicide.

I didn't tell you about it

because I was afraid it's too much for you to bear,

but I didn't expect

such a big misunderstanding happened because of that.

I see.

I got you wrong.

I'm sorry, Your Majesty.

Wumei,

did you know

our father kept asking me to take good care of you

before he passed away?

He even gave you the token

with which you can order elite troops in Shengjing

in a moment of danger.

He really cared about you.

I know that.

Wumei,

you're my only younger brother.

I'm ordering you

to live well.

Your Majesty, trust me.

I'll take care of myself.

Your subordinate takes his leave.

Take him back

and make sure he has a good rest.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Summon Prince Jingyuan!

Summon Prince Jingyuan!

Your Majesty.

Su Wen,

how is it going with posting a reward for highly skilled doctors?

Your Majesty,

up to now,

many highly skilled folk doctors

have taken up the challenge.

Their background is being investigated.

I think

they'll

be able to treat Prince Yuanzheng today.

Good.

Chen,

I need you to do something important for me.

Always at your service.

I've written a letter.

I hope you to take it to Beiyu State.

Beiyu State?

It's a lovely day today!

Xiuwen,

you need to come out more often for fresh air.

It's of help for you to get better.

Actually, I don't want to.

It took me lots of efforts

to convince Mr. Shen to treat you.

Why don't you value the opportunity?

Don't let my efforts be wasted.

If you'll always stay with me when I'm injured,

I'd rather never get better.

You stupid.

I said

I'd go to Persia with you

when you get better.

Luojing, I...

Do you think Doctor Wonder really exists or not?

No matter what,

we should try our luck.

That's right.

Prince Yuanzheng is dying in his bed.

We have to find Doctor Wonder ASAP,

or we'll lost the chance of getting rich quickly.

What did you say?

What happened to Prince Yuanzheng?

You don't know that?

Word got around in the city

that his wife was attacked on the boat

before going missing.

To save her,

Prince Yuanzheng was seriously injured

and stayed in the cold river for a long time

to look for her.

It's said he's also poisoned.

Even imperial physicians can do nothing to help.

Exactly.

Anyone who can cure him

will be rewarded with 10,000 taels of gold

and promoted to a higher rank.

If only we were highly skilled doctors!

He...

He even...

Watch where you're going.

Take them.

You haven't

kissed anyone else, right?

Yes, I have.

Who is it?

It's a dog.

Well.

How dare you make fun of me?

So wh...

Zhong Wumei,

you're already at death's door,

but I didn't know that until now.

I'm really a stupid woman.

I've seen numerous beautiful women,

but they're not as good as you.

Xiuwen, I...

...I love to look at your face.

Light a lamp decorated with colored glaze.

Let's continue our sweet romance.

If you're worried about him,

go back for him.

I can stay.

Luojing,

I'm a man.

I'll also be jealous.

I don't want to see you

cry for another man while you're with me.

No matter what choice you make,

I'll respect your decision.

He was injured to save me.

No matter what,

I should go back

to repay him for what he did.

When you see him,

I'm afraid you'll...

I promised to go to Persia with you.

I won't break my word.

It's just...

I can't do nothing

but watch him die.

Okay.

I'll wait for you to come back.

Won't you go back with me?

I...

I'm determined to stay with you,

so I'll let go of the past.

If I go back

and meet my clansmen,

I'm afraid new problems may crop up.

You're right.

If we show up like this,

even if my dad doesn't want to kill me...

What if someone else

wants to put me to death?

Nobody would recognize us

if we put on a veil.

We can leave

when Zhong Wumei gets better.

I hope you can go back with me.

I didn't expect

even you want to be rewarded with 10,000 tales of gold

and promoted to a higher rank.

You got me wrong.

Mr. Shen,

we want nothing.

We just hope you can cure him.

Please.

It's weird.

So,

do you want me

to save her ex?

I don't mind

now that it's all in the past.

I only care about her.

I'll be on her side

no matter what she wants to do.

You're really infatuated with her.

Mr. Shen,

he was seriously injured because of me.

Go help him, please!

I'll do anything

as long as you help him.

Come on.

As a doctor,

it's my duty

to save patients.

Besides,

I've lived in seclusion for dozens of years.

I'm a little curious

what it looks like in Shengjing.

However...

I...

I'll make a lot of tasty food

as long as you agree to help him.

So,

can you cook mandarin fish?

Sure.

Besides mandarin fish,

I can cook braised carp with soy sauce,

sweet and sour carp,

spicy carp,

you name it.

I'll make all dishes you like to eat.

It...

Great!

Now that

you want to help him

with total sincerity,

I'll do it.

Great!

Good.

I'll chant those words from "The Classic of Poetry" numerous times

when I miss you.

I remember we brushed past each other

on a rainy day on the street.

Father, let me pay respects to you.

Father, look.

Since we got married,

he's been honey-tongued.

Sometimes, it really gave me goose bumps.

Luojing,

I have so many words to say to you.

Where on earth are you?

Your Highness,

there comes another doctor.

Over ten have been here today, right?

Almost 100 doctors in total

have been here these days, right?

Your Highness,

it's true that some of them are incompetent,

but what if there is really one miracle-working doctor?

Fine.

Let him in.

Got it.

Your Highness.

Get out!

Your fraud!

Don't do that.

Get out!

Get lost!

I'm really a highly skilled doctor.

How can you let him in?

I'm not a fraud.

You're just a wizard.

Don't you know where it is?

Her Highness is not here.

I'll help her take care of His Highness.

Don't try to fool us.

And you!

Keep your eyes wide open.

Got it.

It's probably unlikely

for me to get better.

Luojing,

do you still have a chance to see each other?

He took it.

I don't think

nobody else but me can get it done.

Mr. Shen.

What else do you want to say?

Come on.

You've repeated those words numerous times.

"Mr. Shen, please.

You must

cure him."

Enough.

Don't say another word.

I've heard enough.

If you keep doing that,

I...

I'll go back.

Okay. I won't say anything.

That's more like it.

Let's go to a restaurant.

I'm starving.

I need tasty food.

But he...

Oh.

I almost forgot you.

Stay in an inn and wait for us there.

We're going to the imperial palace soon.

We'll contact you

when it's done.

Okay.

Send a letter to me

if you're in trouble.

Trust me.

I remember what I promised to you.

All right.

Time to go.

Your Majesty, the candidate arrives.

Summon the candidate!

Your subject pays respects to His Majesty.

May Your Majesty live for ten thousand years.

You must've known you'd see His Majesty

when you took up the challenge,

but wearing a veil over your face here

is considered a serious crime.

You'd better explain clearly

why you're doing that.
