- Episode 30 -

- Son!- Auntie, don't be too sad.

I won't let this end here!

Buwen, you must get justice for our Yiyang!

Auntie, don't worry.

Yiyang's matters are my matters.

I will definitely get justice for him.

Go back first.

Da Tou, come here. I have something to say to you.

What is it?

Did you do this?

Do what?

Stop acting. Are you the one framing Wu Julan?

Do I need to go frame him?

It really is you?

Why did you have to do this? Didn't you change for the better?

Get things straight.

He's the one hurting people. I'm standing up for righteousness.

Right? How could I be the one changing for the better?

How is he?

This time, just logical reasoning won't clear things up.

It must be Zhou Buwen's doing!

- Miss Zhou.- You are...?

Hello. I am the nurse who takes care of Zhu Yiyang at the hospital. My name is Lily.

Oh.

Last night, Zhu Yiyang was badly wounded and ended up in the emergency room.

When he came, he was already unconscious.

At that time, he was clutching tightly onto this.

Your name is engraved on it, so I came to bring it to you.

Miss Zhou, everyone on the island knows that Zhu Yiyang likes you.

This time, such a big thing happened to him.

I don't know if he will wake up.

If you have time, go visit him.

- Oh my god!- How did it become like this?

Village Chief! You must get justice for our Yiyang!

Mrs. Zhu, I understand how you feel.

But no one saw it themselves, right?

Based on the wound...

Village Chief, the evidence is irrefutable!

I said we shouldn't have let that monster go!

We spared him, but what about him?

That's right. Village Chief, you were too kind.

- You're leaving the tiger behind to do more trouble.- I--!

Wu Julan isn't human.

He has no human nature. He's a monster!

Earlier, he viciously killed our family pet. Now, he almost killed Zhu Yiyang. What about tomorrow?

Tomorrow, if his brutal instinct acts up again, is it okay to kill you, kill you?!

Or kill all of us?

So today, we must get rid of him

- and get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!- Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!

Kill him! Kill him!

Who bullied you?

No one! No one bullied me.

It's just a few children who know nothing. I won't stoop to their level.

Turn around.

I'm sorry. I made you suffer.

As long as I can be with you, I'm not suffering at all.

Once we get there, don't be too furious!

Let's clarify things first!

Without my order, no one can act rashly, okay?

At this time, what else is there to ask?

- Kill Wu Julan! Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!- Kill Wu Julan!

Kill Wu Julan! Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!

Kill Wu Julan! Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!

Yesterday, Zhu Yiyang was found at Black Cloak Lane. First, let's go there to take a look.

- If we can find a witness, then we can clear Wu Julan's name.- Okay.

Kill Wu Julan! Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!

Kill Wu Julan! Get revenge for Zhu Yiyang!

Kill Wu Julan! Kill Wu Julan!

What do we do?

Make the call!

Hello?

Hello? Xiao Luo! Run! Zhu Yiyang is heavily injured and in a coma.

Zhou Buwen framed Wu Julan for it, and is leading a bunch of people to find him!

Where is Wu Julan?

Come out! Kill Wu Julan!

Come out!

- Don't run!- Come out!

- You're running?- Don't run! Come out!

- You dare to come out now?- Xiao Luo, come here.

I'll protect you. Their aim is Wu Julan. Come here!

Stop acting! Just go ahead and do whatever you want!

Shen Luo and Wu Julan are on the same side! Hit them both!

That's right! Hit them both!

- Calm down, calm down!- Don't hit Xiao Luo!

- Don't fight!- Don't hit Xiao Luo!

- Calm down!- Don't hit Xiao Luo!

Don't hit Xiao Luo!

Wu Julan!

Wu Julan! You can't fight them! Then your name will never be cleared!

What are you waiting for? Beat him to death!

Kill him! Kill him!

Xiao Luo, don't bother with him! He needs to pay!

Zhou Buwen, hurry and tell them to stop!

Stop!

What is going on?

Why did the sky turn dark?

Wu Julan! Run!

The sky has changed!

Where did Wu Julan go?

What do we do?

What are you standing there for? Go after him!

After him?

What are you afraid of? Are you going to wait for him to come back and kill us?

Let's go!

How are you doing? Are your injuries serious?

I'm okay. Why did you come over?

What?

Why did you rush over just now? Don't you know how dangerous it was?

I know.

Xiao Luo, have you gone crazy?

Those people have lost all reasoning.

If you come over like that, not only will you not help me, you'll hurt yourself, too.

I know.

But seeing you get hit feels more awful then getting hit myself.

I'm useless. I can't help you.

But if I go through this with you, I'll feel better.

Let me tell you, Wu Julan.

Even if this sort of matter repeats itself a thousand times, I would still do that.

I'm sorry.

Wu Julan, take me away, okay?

Take me away from here, to a place where no one knows us, okay?

Are you really willing to let go of your home for me?

I'm willing!

But I'm not willing.

Xiao Luo, I don't have many days left by your side.

I don't want, in the future, for you to be unable to go home because of me.

But what do we do? Everyone treats you like a murderous monster now.

We can't stay on this island any more!

There will be a way.

Have you seen this person before?

- No.- Thank you.

You're welcome.

- I'm sorry, let me ask you. Have you seen this person before?- No.

- What about you, sir? - No, no.

- I'm sorry.- Thank you.

Let's go home!

- How is it?- Don't ask.

The minute they hear that it's for Wu Julan, no one bothers to care.

I think our work will go to waste today.

Not necessarily. I found out about something interesting.

Huh?

Is it this one? How many?

Three... Three pills.

Grandpa, I'm sorry!

I promise you, I will take good care of Xiao Luo.

- Give it to me!- I will take good care of her!

Grandpa! Grandpa!

Has he gone over there?

Xiao Yu,

I think we should go back.

That Wu Julan may have left the island already.

Village Chief! Zhou Buwen says Wu Julan must still be on the island!

If we don't kill him today, when he comes back,

who knows how he'll get back at us!

Yes, yes! That's right!

- It makes sense!- Everyone listen to me! Keep searching!

- Let's go!- You go over there!

Let's go!

Pretty lady! Are you alone?

Slow down, pretty lady!

I'll spend time with you! Come!

Bye-bye!

Who are you? Blocking me?

- Are you looking to die?- No.

I'm looking for you.

How is it? Look familiar?

Why are you being so courteous? It's not New Year's.

- Get up.- What do you want?

Don't be nervous. We just want to ask you a few questions.

You needed me for something?

Da Tou, how many years have we known each other for?

Twenty six years.

Twenty six years?

I really don't understand. In twenty six years, can I still not know a person well?

Are you too good of an actor? Or are we just too stupid?

I still have something to do today. We'll talk another day.

Stop.

I just want to ask you.

What did Xiao Luo and Wu Julan do wrong against you?

Why must you harm them like this?

You've got things backwards.

How could I harm Xiao Luo? I'm helping her!

Stop!

- Stop being obstinate and persisting in--- You are the one who's being obstinate and persisting in doing things the wrong way!

I really don't understand!

What kind of spell did Wu Julan cast on you?

All of you favor him!

Am I your friend, or is he your friend?

I'm telling you! Wu Julan is a monster!

He wants to obtain Xiao Luo? In his dreams!

You want me to stop? Not a chance!

You claim that Wu Julan is a monster! But he has never done anything to harm anyone!

What about you? To reach your own goal,

you tricked a friend of twenty six years!

You hurt people and then put the blame on someone else! You're the real monster!

What did you say?

Stop daydreaming.

Even if Wu Julan didn't exist, Xiao Luo wouldn't like you.

Because you're not worthy!

Zhou Buwen! From today on,

you are the person I despise the most and loathe the most!

Big Brother, I want to go home.

Why are you suddenly saying that?

Be good, stop making a fuss.

Big Brother! Let's leave here, okay?

Wu Julan and Shen Luo, they have nothing to do with us!

What's wrong?

Why ae you suddenly mentioning them?

Big Brother! Let's leave here, okay?

No matter where you go, I'm willing to go with you.

Did you find out something?

Or did someone say something to you?

Buyan, do you trust me?

I won't lie to you. I won't do bad things.

All I've done isn't for myself.

It's for us! Do you believe me?

What's wrong with you?

I can't keep up the act anymore!

You still don't understand? I've been lying to you!

Because only you

can make Wu Julan, Shen Luo, and everyone believe

that I am a good person.

We aren't from the same world.

If not for your father,

I wouldn't care about you at all.

I'm telling you.

In this lifetime, I will only love Shen Luo. I'll only love Shen Luo!

That's right. You have a weakness.

Do you know what that is?

You're especially easily to trick!

Are you cold?

Yes.

Is this better?

I'm still cold.

Is this better?

Wu Julan, you're so good.

I must have saved the world in my past life. That's why I met you in this life.

I must have done something wrong. That's why I ended up in your hands.

Then just accept your fate!

Let me love you properly!

Why are you playing along?

This way, how could I make a move?

What time is it now? You're still playing?

How peaceful. It seems like we're the only ones left in this world.

Looking at the world's dig dipper, it has turned, and the stars have moved. The tides have ebbed and flowed.

They all seemed to belong to another world.

I wish that we could stop time at this moment forever.

Come! Come!

Look! They're over there! Go find people!

I'll watch them here! Hurry and go!

I got it.

Miss Zhou,

let's have a talk.

Xiao Luo, someone is here!

Someone is here?

Hurry and leave!

Hurry and leave!

Where are you running to?

You leave first!

No. I won't leave you alone.

You'd best surrender! Don't make things hard on us!

Everyone listen up.

Today, we must destroy this monster, Wu Julan.

We definitely can't let him hurt anyone else.

That's right! Kill him! Kill him!

Everyone listen to me! Wu Julan wasn't the one who attacked Zhu Yiyang! It's a misunderstanding!

You're on his side! Of course, you'll speak on his behalf!

That's right! You're on his side!

If I wanted to kill Zhu Yiyang, he wouldn't have lived until now.

You demon who kills without a second thought!

Yes! It was you! You did it!

It was you!

It's easy to know who the culprit is!

As long as Zhu Yiyang wakes up, the truth will be revealed!

- They're stalling for time! - That's right! - Wu Julan.

Today is the day you will die.

The evidence proves that you killed Zhu Yiyang.

Kill him! Kill!

Kill! Kill! Kill!

Stop! Stop!

Don't you want to know who the real culprit is?

- Yes! Who was it?- I know!

The one who harmed Zhu Yiyang wasn't anyone else.

It was him! Zhou Buwen!

What a joke!

It couldn't be him!

How could it be Da Tou? Did you make a mistake?

Just ask him!

Zhou Buwen ordered me to attack Zhu Yiyang.

He especially told me to put a wild animal's claw mark on his body.

He's clearly framing me!

Talk! Did those two

give you money and order you to frame me?

I-I-I...

Village Chief, it's very obvious.

They just want to stall in order to frame me.

Zhu Yiyang and I are good brothers! I have no reason to kill him!

That's right! He has no reason!

Zhou Buwen's words make sense.

You wanted to hide evidence of your crimes!

You attacked Zhu Yiyang, because his cellphone had a video of Shen Luo's grandpa before he died.

- What? Look!- How many?

- Three... Three pills!- Grandpa!

- Grandpa! I truly love Xiao Luo!- Hurry!

Medicine!

I will take good care of her for you!

I will definitely take good care of her!

- Xiao Luo!- It really is hard to know someone's heart!

I didn't kill Grandpa! I just watched him die!

Zhou Buwen! You bastard!

I will never forgive you!

Zhou Buwen! The evidence is now complete! What else do you have to say?

Zhou Buwen! You dared to do such a thing?

That's right! How could he do such a thing?

You fatherless bastard!

I should have crippled you long ago so you couldn't come out and harm others!

That's right! That's right!

Where did Xiao Luo go?

Where did she go? She's gone!

Let go of me! Let go!

Let go of her!

Zhou Buwen! The one you want to fight is me!

I almost forgot.

You want to fight me?

- Okay!- Zhou Buwen!

You want to save her? Then rip out your heart for me.

Do it!

Have you gone crazy?

I'm crazy?

Yes, I'm crazy.

What I can't obtain, no one can!

No one can think of having it!

Take another step, and I'll push her down there!

If you want to save her,

then rip out your heart.

Do you dare to?

Wu Julan, don't listen to him! Don't bother with me!

I see he is now already not as powerful as he wishes to be.

I don't need to make a move, and he can't even keep going.

You can't do it?

Then I'm sorry.

Stop!

Wu Julan!

Don't!

Wu Julan, I don't need you to rescue me. If you dare to die, I'll never forgive you!

Rip it!

Come! Rip out your heart!

Rip it out!

Xiao Luo, I'm sorry.

Rip it out! Hurry!

Hurry and rip it out!

Hang on!

Don't be afraid! I won't let go!

Trust me!

I trust you!

Wu Julan! Hurry and let go, don't bother with me any more!

Protect yourself.

Look out!

I treat you so well, but you treat me like this?

You treat me like this?

You're a demon! I hate you!

I'm a demon? I'm a demon?!

I--!

It's okay now. It's all over now.

Wu Julan! Wu Julan! Wu Julan!

Wu Julan!

Get up! Cuff him!

Xiao Luo! Xiao Luo! Xiao Luo!

Why? Why?

We grew up together! We're childhood friends!

We should be together! Why have we fallen to this state?

Why?

Zhou Buwen, love doesn't mean that I must like you because you like me!

But I did so much for you!

You can say I'm twisted or a bad person.

I did all of this for you! It was all for you!

Were you not touched at all?

Tell me! You should have been touched!

Were you not touched at all?

All you did wasn't for me!

You hurt so many people for your own motives!

Don't blame your actions on me!

I feel disgusted!

If time could turn back, I'd wish I'd never met you!

If time could turn back, I would still fall in love with you.

- Go!- Xiao Luo!

- Go!- Listen to me!

Xiao Luo! You can never be together with Wu Julan!

You can never be together with him!

His spiritual pearl is in your body! Your body!

Only one of you can live!

It was for your own good! It was for your own good!

Not for him! Not for him!

Xiao Luo!

You know... about Regulus' matters.

He managed to continue through medicine before.

But he's injured now, too. The situation is very bad.

Liangliang, Zhou Buwen said Wu Julan's spiritual pearl is in my body.

Is that true?

A hundred and fity years ago, Wu Julan had a close friend named Du Xiaolin.

Wu Julan trusted him a lot, and treated him as his best friend.

But Du Xiaolin used this trust

and stole Wu Julan's most precious item, the spiritual pearl.

After that, to avoid pursuers,

he came to this island and changed his name to Shen Lin. He is your ancestor.

Du Xiaolin is my ancestor?

Yes.

So... Wu Julan and I didn't meet for no reason.

The one he was looking for was me?

No wonder when we first met,

I was scared so much by his expression.

I wasn't too wimpy.

I just subconsciously felt his murderous intent.

Since Wu Julan knew that the spiritual pearl is in my body,

why didn't he take it back?

Will he die without the spiritual pearl?

Yes.

Then what should I do to give it back to him?

You want to give the spiritual pearl back to him?

Then I'll tell you. If you don't have the spiritual pearl, you'll die.

Why are you so silly?

You once died from drowning as a child. Your life now is maintained by the spiritual pearl.

Wu Julan knew this long ago.

That's why he'd rather die than take the spiritual pearl back.

Wu Julan, you're not from the island, and you don't have any money on you either.

And you're dressed so weird, too! Why did you come here?

I came to find someone.

Over a hundred years ago, the mermaid had a human friend.

He treated him as his best friend.

He told him his most precious secret.

The mermaid thought that he could have a great friendship.

He never thought that he had brought despicable deceit instead.

If you were the mermaid, what would you do?

My ancestor treated you badly that way; yet, you still believe deeply in me.

Rescuing me without any reservation.

Why are you so foolish?

Wu Julan, if you were to come a little later, I'd have drowned and died!

Who knew your act would become real?

I, too, didn't know things would have developed to a stage like this.

In the future, you're not allowed to act foolishly!

That's right. If we cannot find the spiritual pearl,

- in one month--!- Violet!

Wu Julan, what's in a month?

She said that I have one more month before I have to return to the sea.

Wu Julan, let's not separate again, okay?

Let's live everyday like it's the last, okay?

Okay.

Originally, it wasn't that your life was limited.

It's that you've given me what originally belonged to you.

Am I really that good?

That you'd forsake your life for me?

How can you be so foolish?

You're crying.

It's because I'm worried about you.

- I'm okay. You don't need to worry about me.

I know you will recover.
