Hotel Trainees Season 2

Episode 2

Calm down!

Put down the knife! Don't move.

Calm down. Let go of him.

Calm down.

Back off! Back off!

Calm down.

Let me tell you

I'm not happy with the award this afternoon.

I want a rematch.

You have no idea

Stop taking pictures. Stop. Stop.

how great my invention is.

Calm down!

OK. OK. OK.

Back off.

Let me tell you,

Back off. Back off.

none of you will be able to leave this room

unless you give me a satisfactory answer today.

Don't panic.

Keep order. Keep order.

I'm going out!

Where are you going?

Come back!

No running.

Come back here!

Sir, Sir, Sir.

Open the door! Open the door!

Stay calm. Stay calm.

Get lost!

Rematch. Be quick!

OK. Let's talk it over.

What's going on?

Someone sabotaged it.

We're repairing it.

How long will it take?

With so many wires,

we may not be able to finish it when the day breaks.

Is this the Engineering?

Is the generator ready yet?

Contact two more generators.

I don't care what you're doing,

I advise you to stop.

I didn't expect that

Xie Fanyu was really willing to give up the position of general manager.

The whole hotel will be his.

He has no regard for

the position of general manager.

You never know.

It's uncertain

whose hotel it will be.

By the way,

do you have the water and electricity system diagram of ZAD?

The Engineering department should have it.

What do you need it for?

Nothing.

I bought the Shilan Hotel last month

and want to have it properly renovated.

Its internal water and electricity system diagram is too messy,

so I want to take ZAD's drawing for reference.

It was so noisy.

Now it's quiet at last.

Alan,

Get in touch with David.

What are you doing?

May…may I go to the bathroom?

Sit down!

I'm telling all of you

Still no response.

I've hacked into the hotel's telecommunications system.

The entire hotel is now without network connection or electricity.

I can't get the message out.

What are you doing?

Are you sending a message for help?

Do you have a signal?

Why can't I make an emergency call?

What's going on?

Can't you dial out?

Try it. Hurry up.

Mr. Xie,

There’s emergency power for the surveillance cameras.

You can see what's going on inside.

Yue Ran! Yue Ran!

Mr. Xie.

My WiFi is working.

WiFi is working.

Everyone, get connected.

Everyone, hurry up and get connected.

Don’t.

Don’t do that.

Call someone to save us.

I'm connected to the WiFi.

Welcome to use

the app that helps you quit your phone.

Each of your phones

will automatically download my app

as soon as you get connected to this WiFi.

All of you in this room

are going to use it today

and give me an experience report,

telling me whether this software

is good or not.

It’s good. Pretty good.

We all think it’s good.

I don't need such a perfunctory answer.

How shameless you are!

Sit down!

Unbelievable.

Try the software now.

Read your cell phones.

Right now, only this app can save you.

Pull yourself together. Pull yourself together.

It will be fine.

Yue Ran, you must keep up your spirits.

It will be fine.

You’ll be fine.

Read it.

What’s wrong with the Chairman?

Chairman, what’s wrong with you?

You look so pale.

How come you look so pale?

Let me pour him a glass of water.

Come on. Come on. Be quick.

Get him a glass of water.

Okay, I'll get a glass of water.

It’s high blood pressure.

Yue Ran,

Mr. Xie, the switch is locked.

Mr. Xie, Mr. Xie.

Don’t.

What are you doing?

Smash the door and save them.

The Housekeeping is holding the line now.

There's no commotion.

If you do that,

the alarm will go off

and it will cause panic.

You're right.

The key to the generator room is still in there.

I can't find the spare key to the conference hall.

There are dozens of people inside.

You guys split up and figure out what to do.

Okay, I'll keep looking.

Hurry up. Go.

Yue Ran!

Yue Ran!

Stay back!

I can help myself.

Thanks.

I think we should all take it calmly.

Don't worry.

Let's have a good talk with Mr. Chen.

Do you think so?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

Have a good talk.

Let’s have a talk.

What a talker.

Yue Ran.

Sit down. Yue Ran.

Sit down.

Why are you beating people?

That…

is outrageous.

Outrageous.

Try the software now.

OK. OK. Ok.

Mr. Liu,

Was the house I showed you last time satisfactory?

Don’t leave out a word.

Yue Ran.

Yue Ran.

Xie Fanyu.

Xie Fanyu, Is that you? Xie Fanyu.

Xie Fanyu., please come and save us.

You hang in there.

Someone over here is being held.

I’ll find the key in no time.

Come and help us.

It’s in your mobile.

Hurry up. Read it.

Read it. Read it.

How is it?

How is it?

Is it good?

It is good.

It is good.

See?

Did you see that?

Did you see they all think it’s good.

Chairman.

It has nothing to do with me.

There’s been an accident.

Yue Ran! Yue Ran!

Don’t leave!

It’s not me!

Sir. Sir!

Good.

Let's go this way.

Don't crowd. Be careful.

Let's go this way.

Don't crowd. The floor can be slippery.

Don't crowd.

Let's go this way.

Everyone, let's go this way.

Jiajia,

- Are you OK? -I’m fine.

Everyone, be careful.

Let's go this way. Don't crowd.

Let's go this way.

You're nosy.

You're nosy, aren't you?

Where is your cell phone?

Take out your phone and read it to me!

Cell phone.

Cell…cell phone.

Read! Read it.

Read what’s in your phone.

Hurry up.

Have you decided what to treat me to

be in return for my customized summer meal?

Why aren't you texting me back?

It’s really mean of you.

I'm not really going to let you buy me dinner.

Look how scared you are.

It doesn't matter what I eat.

What matters is being with you,

even if it's just for one meal.

How's that?

Do you feel nauseous?

Do you want to give up your cell phone?

No.

I said no. No!

I feel so warm and sweet.

If you care about someone

and love someone,

speak up.

I'm not ashamed at all.

I'm going to keep reading!

Stop!

Try your best in the Front Office.

Don't worry too much about David.

If there's really a problem you can't solve,

just come to me,

although it’s uncertain

whether I can help you out or not.

Your goal is to be a Golden Key,

so difficulties in your job must be solved by yourself.

You can't depend on me for everything.

I’m running a hotel,

but now I’m acting like a secret agent.

Damn.

But there is no problem

for me to treat you to

a customized summer meal.

If you get tired of it,

I can treat you to something else,

like the customized autumn meal,

I asked you to stop!

or customized winter meal.

I’m going to kill you.

Xie Fanyu!

Yue Ran.

Great!

We are safe now.

Xie Fanyu.

It’s OK.

It’s OK.

Here you are at last.

Are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital?

This wound will be easily infected.

No, it's just minor injuries.

I'm used to it.

Why do you have these?

I prepared them for you.

Me?

I'm used to you getting hurt.

What's wrong with your hand?

How do you think I got into the conference hall?

Of course it depends on my dexterity.

You're very dexterous.

You think you're 007.

Ever since I met you,

I've climbed buildings and dived into water.

I've done all sorts of dangerous things.

It was my dexterity

that kept me alive.

I'm definitely like 007.

Let me sterilize it for you first.

Don't move, don't move.

It's easy to get infected if you don't sterilize it

Why…

Why did you kiss me?

I kissed you?

I kissed you?

When did I kiss you?

It’s you…

Do it yourself.

Yue Ran.

Tell me.

When Chen Alai abducted you,

why did you shout my name?

Shouldn't this be the time

to ask for dad or mom?

Why did you want me?

Because my mother died.

My father is not around.

What's the use of asking for my dad?

But you still have your besties.

You still have your ex-boyfriend.

I'm going to find my best friend

and my ex-boyfriend right now.

I won’t allow you to.

Let me go.

Jiajia. Jiajia!

Jiajia,

are you OK?

Let me see if you're hurt.

I'm glad you're okay.

Go to bed early tonight.

Drink more...

Wait.

This is Golden Throat Lozenges.

Take it.

You talked all the evening.

Have some water.

Don't drink beverage if your throat hurts.

Drinks are on me.

Help yourselves.

Jiajia,

go to bed early tonight.

Drink more water.

I'll go back then.

Remember to take it.

Jiajia.

see you.

Jiajia, Jiajia,

drink more water.

See you.

You don’t want it?

I’ll take it if you don’t.

Who said that?

Front Office. Front Office. Front Office.

Scoreboard

Front Office. Front Office. Front Office.

Front Office. Front Office.

It is really the Front Office.

Why not us again?

Wonderful!

-Yue Ran. - So great!

Good for you.

You single-handedly

supported the performance of our entire office.

I'll treat you to crayfish when I get paid.

No. It’s not that.

Everyone contributed.

What should I do? What should I do?

But is it true that you will buy me crayfish?

Of course.

Police

Go away.

I have nothing to say.

I want to talk to you.

Go away.

Is this your daughter?

What are you gonna do to her?

I'm telling you,

if you lay a finger on her,

I'm not gonna let you go!

Don’t worry.

I'm not as extreme as you are.

I went to the hospital.

The doctor said her eyes were not recovering well enough,

so she should try to avoid overusing them in the future.

She should not use mobile phones, computers

and other electronic products in the future.

How did this happen?

Your daughter is very clever.

She's not like you.

You're a fool.

I'm sorry.

I am not a good father.

Your daughter has a gift for painting.

A few years ago,

ZAD set up an educational support fund

for employees' children.

It costs a lot of money

to follow the path of art.

And you are like this now.

We can help

pay for part of her education.

She'll be at the hotel today.

Let her rest in a hotel for the time being.

It's good for her eyes.

But don't worry,

I won't tell her

what you did at the hotel.

I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry.

But I have one condition.

What is it?

Who gave you the drawing

of the electrical system for the hotel?

I don't know.

When I arrived at the hotel,

the drawings were already there.

I didn't give it much attention.

I thought it was something everyone had.

After the results were announced,

I got a phone call.

A phone call?

Yes.

It was a woman.

She hinted on the phone that

I could use the drawing.

So…

I'm sorry.

I'm really sorry.

I've told you everything I know.

I'm really sorry.

But…

Don’t worry.

We'll take good care of your daughter.

Are you the one who did that?

You didn’t ask me for

the schematics for reference.

You went after ZAD on purpose, right?

So you’re here to blame me.

I was wondering what it is about.

Do you have any evidence

that I was against ZAD?

Why were you doing this?

You invested in the hotel.

What will you gain if you it down?

I’ll say it again.

What proof do you have

that I did this?

If you don’t, please take it back.

Otherwise, I’ll sue you for slander.

Sooner or later,

you’re going to pay for it.

It’s so cool.

What do you need me for?

How’d it go?

Are they all gone?

Who?

You mean the Security?

Didn’t they already get fired?

You think I shouldn’t have done it?

Not really.

I don’t think you did anything wrong.

Don’t put so much pressure on yourself.

You’re actually

kind of a softie.

But you always have to act

like you’re

so unfeeling in front of people.

If you show your gentleness

once in a while,

people might not get the wrong idea about you.

Gentleness?

How?

Like this?

What the hell?

What are you doing?

Work is over. Let’s go eat.

Chairman.

You wanted to see me.

It’s nothing.

I wanted to see

the night view of

our hotel with you.

See?

Don’t you think it’s beautiful?

If it hadn’t been for the power failure last night,

I’d forgotten

the hotel had such a beautiful night view.

It’s not just beautiful.

It’s warm.

Yeah.

David,

how long have you been working at the hotel?

Counting the internship,

this is year 11.

Eleven years.

That’s a long time.

Apart from Cook Yu and the others,

you must be the oldest employee.

Yeah, something like that.

Thank you for all your hard work.

If it weren’t for you,

ZAD wouldn’t be growing so fast.

I wouldn’t be standing here right now

and enjoying the view.

Director Zhao, I’m sorry.

I’m sorry you had to

come out in this weather.

It’s Okay.

Watch out. Careful.

Your ZAD

is able to scale up again,

which has a strong impact on tourism and employment.

We government will

surely be very supportive.

Thank you. Thank you.

Of course. Of course.

This hot spring is indeed a treasure.

To be honest,

the first time I was here.

I just felt like we had a connection.

The government can rest assured.

In a few years,

I’ll make this place

a top-notch spa resort.

Good.

In the meantime,

I believe…

Chairman, be careful!

Watch out!

Watch out! Mr. Xie!

Chairman! Mr. Xie!

Watch out!

-Young man! -David!

David!

David!

Go help him!

Okay, okay, okay.

Go help him!

David! David!

David!

You saved my life.

It’s been a long time.

I don’t really remember it.

You still have that scar.

How can it be so easy to forget?

After you got hurt,

you took a week off,

and you came to work.

As Yu and others said,

ZAD really is the place

where you bleed and sweat.

You built the Resort with your blood.

Sometimes, I really feel

that I failed you.

What is it?

Why think about this

all of a sudden?

It’s nothing.

I’m old.

I think about my past

and

think about you young man’s future.

Crayfish

Oh, my goodness.

Slow down.

I’m literally bursting at the seams.

You eat too much.

You’re eating for six.

You’re exaggerating.

I didn’t eat that much.

You are exaggerating.

I ate for four, tops.

Alright.

Hey, be careful.

You’re still in your hotel uniform.

Oh, my. I’m so full.

I’m so full.

Just give me a second.

What are you doing?

I’m gonna throw up.

Where have you been?

Pregnant woman.

Just go put it on.

Who are you calling pregnant?

All right, cut the crap.

Go put it on. Come on.

Go.

How is it?

Doesn’t that feel better?

It is comfortable.

But how is this so different

from what I saw in the TV show

about bossy CEOs?

Bossy CEOs aren’t the same.

My taste is

very much in line with your…

What a round moon it is today!

The doctor specifically told me

that her eyes just had surgery.

and she should not overstrain her eyes.

She’s still recovering.

In particular, do not stare at the phone.

Otherwise there will be the risk of blindness.

Plus,

she’s addicted

to her phone.

You must pay attention to this.

Here are some notes from the hospital.

Can you handle it?

After all,

I was the one who put her father inside.

I feel sorry for her, too.

It’s our Front Office job.

I’ll try.

Yue Ran.

I miss my dad.

I wanna see his picture.

No.

Go back to sleep.

I’m losing my sight.

I want to see him one last time.

The doctor says your eyes will be fine.

Don’t you worry about it.

Just go to sleep.

My best friend’s birthday

is tonight.

I’ll give her a call

and wish her a happy birthday.

Alright. Alright.

Today, my idol is on the air.

I have to organize a team to vote for him.

If I don’t go,

without a leader,

our idol is not gonna make it to the finals.

Really?

Alright. Alright.

But you know?

Gold shines everywhere.

So he’s going to the finals

with or without your support.

So why don’t you get some sleep?

How far has the Sino-US trade negotiation progressed?

I’ll tell you tomorrow.

Good night.

Sweet dreams.

Give it to me.

What’s this?

Do you want your eyes or not?

None of your business!

Who wants to care about you?

It’s because I promised your father.

Don’t think about get the phone for these days.

I can’t. I can’t!

I can’t find

my purpose in this world!

Yeah.

Life in the world of mobile phones

really has no meaning.

I just want to know

what’s going on in the world right now.

No different from a second ago.

No.

I must check Weibo,

otherwise the world stops turning.

Really?

I’m not going to sleep.

Do whatever you want.

You cut me off from society.

You imprisoned my body.

You kidnapped my soul.

I’m 15 years old!

And right now,

I’m behind all the 15-year-olds.

It’s you!

You’re the one who erased my starting line!

You’re the one who erased my starting line!

I have to work tomorrow!

All right, nobody sleeps tonight.

Fine, no sleep!

The round moon

falls into

the pond of our love.

When I miss you,

you’re not here.

I let the missing

drowning in the lonely…

Hey, honey.

Hey, honey.

Why aren’t you talking?

Honey?

Honey

Hello? Hello?

Honey?

Honey!

First Aid Station

My mom called me.

She said something happened to you.

I was out and couldn’t come back,

so I let Yue Ran check on you

and send you to the hospital.

The doctor said I’m fine.

I don’t need to go to the hospital.

You’re fine?

Look at her now.

If Yue Ran hadn’t arrived in time,

you would be…would be…

What? What?

It’s a funny story, actually.

Look at Yue Ran.

She is pretty strong.

She carried me all the way back.

You don’t know.

The older you get, the heavier you get.

Even you can’t do it.

You’re in the mood for a joke?

You were in shock.

What shock? It’s called sleeping.

Is there something you’re not telling me?

All right, get back to your business.

Fine. You go on.

Are you all right?

I’m fine.

You go home and get some rest.

Call me if you need anything.

Cellphone!

Oh, crap.

Oh, crap.

That girl, she’s got a lot of energy.

It’s better you all go.

I just want to touch it.

Emptiness.

I can feel

the WiFi in this room

with these hands.

So tell me,

what’s it like to feel

the WiFi?

Like the time

I touched my idol’s hand at the airport.

It’s dead.

Yue Ran, go home and get some rest.

I’ve made arrangements for her.

Okay.

Who needs your arrangements? Who are you?

So handsome.

No, I still don’t trust her.

I’ll go check.

Give yourself a rest.

This mask is super hydrating.

If you don’t take care of your skin,

you’re about to be like Duan Jian.

Duan Jian would be very sad

if he knew you said that about him.

Then you should hydrate your face.

I’ve sent someone

to keep an eye on Chen Guodong.

There’s no cell phone

in her line of sight.

Or they will be fined.

All right.

Don’t you have something to do?

I’m a busy man.

Then go out,

lock the door from the inside,

and come back and wake me up in an hour.

I’ve got work to do.

But if you stay here,

when people come in and see us,

they would suspect us.

Everyone knows you saved the Chairman.

I can do this the old-fashioned way.

What way?

Pay you back.

With myself.

No, no, no.

No, I’m good.

I’d better go.

You’re tired.

You can’t work now.

Get some sleep.

Get some sleep.

Well, then I’m gonna sleep.

Go ahead.

Mr. Xie, this blackout…

Keep your voice down.

The blackout has had

a major impact on the hotel.

Here are some of the returns we received.

Odd customers are easy.

But the

200-person medical convention we’re hosting

next week is asking for refund.

We had an accident,

so it’s hard to hold others accountable.

Did the Purchasing department

prepare the ingredients they asked for?

Yeah, that’s the worst part.

The ingredients will be here in a couple of days.

Okay.

I see.

The most important thing is that

we must get rid of the ingredients,

so to minimize the damage.

Sure. Mr. Xie.

Oh, right.

Why are we talking out here?

Why not in the office?

The air in my office

is bad these days.

Bad air?

Well…

Have housekeeping come and clean it up.

Is it time to change the carpet?

Just open a window and let some air in.

OK.

By the way, Mr. Xie.

Why are we whispering?

My ears haven’t been good for a few days.

So keep your voice down.

Your ears.

Here.

Go ahead and get busy.

Okay.

Let’s go.

Go.

Well…

I’m just here to deliver the air purifier,

do you believe me?

Don’t kill me, Mr. Xie!

Forget what you saw.

Mr. Xie.

This kind of thing is consensual.

You can’t kill me

just because I saw it.

I’m not a killer.

But I could fire you.

I’ll let you in on a little secret

and you spare me.

No.

It’s about Yue Ran.

OK.

If she likes someone,

she burps.

She’s been like this since college.

I believe in you. Good luck.

Burps?

What is it?

Did you eat honey?

You look so happy.

I just found out a big secret.

What secret? Tell me.

That was close.

I was this close.

I promised Mr. Xie to keep it a secret.

If I tell you, he’ll kill me.

Tell me or not?

If you don’t,

I’ll push you into the pool

and drown you.
