I want to ask the distant moon

Is that person you?

I dance among the flowers and you accompany with me

Is that person you? The moon doesn’t tell me

Two shadows. A line of love poem.

You protect me from the strong wind

Give me a light in the dark. Give me an umbrella when it rains.

When I cry, you give me a hand

My tears fall on the palm of your hand

You protect me and watch the moon with me

The moon witnesses the time we stay together

Even if time has passed for a long time and we become old

Everything about you is sweet

[Ni Chang]

[Episode 35]

I's the second round to test on spice today

You have been preparing for so long. It's time for you to display muscles.

Different from weaving

The second test is to smell spices

You need to distinguish more than five kinds among a dozen kinds of mixed spices

So that you can attend the next round

You must do that in the time of a stick of incense

When the time is up, those who have not written five types will fail the test

These are precious and rare spices on the market

They were ground into powder

Without a sensitive sense of smell, it’s really hard to distinguish them

Bear it in mind

This is purple bead leaf. We can eat it

These books record a lot of flower and herbal medicine

They are fundamental

You must remember them

Time is up

Princess, please have a look

On this round

Only two people distinguished five or more

One is the boss Ni of Herb Hall

She wrote out six kinds and all of them are correct.

The other is Mrs. Zhou from Ningxiang Pavilion

She wrote out eight kinds and all of them are correct.

On this send round

Mrs. Zhou and Boss Ni can attend the third test

Lord Yuan, please announce the rules

On the third round

You two need to make a summer balm

The one who makes balm with long-lasting fragrance wins

You have 5 days.

In order to make the best balm

Two of you are allowed to use the best spices in the warehouse of our palace and city bureau

Yes

The spice of the palace and city bureau is really good

Right?

Nichang

Prince

Prince, see you

Why are you here?

I Guess that you will get the token to the warehouse.

So I am waiting for you here

This opportunity to come to the warehouse is not always available

Now we are allowed

Of course I need to go for a visit

It is indeed a precious opportunity

I'm going to check the old account books in the warehouse

If you find the books,

Are you confident in finding problems?

If I can find it out,

There will be clues about the input and output of that batch of pearl powder.

Why?

My brother taught me since I was a kid that

Although there are only numbers on the account book

But it will give us some hints

For example

The number of silks and satin increased sharply this month

meaning that there are frequent banquets in the city

So the silk and satin needed will increase

Correspondingly, the purchase of silk and satin next month will decrease

Otherwise, the stock of old goods will waste the capital

Here is another example

This month’s pearl stock is zero

That means people cannot go to sea due to the Typhoon one the East China Sea

So next month, they will buy in large quantities

Pearls, shells and other decorative materials will be stocked in large quantities

Therefore, it is very important to find out that year’s accounts

I can find put who falsified that batch of pearl powder

Was there someone doing something to the powder midway?

But they only allow you to use spices

What excuses do you use to check the books?

Well

I will have my own way

Then you have to be more careful

Do not worry

I will be careful everywhere

Boss Ni, this way please

Here

This is the registration room

Boss Ni, you can look for the things you need

We are waiting for you outside

Thanks a lot

This Nichang thought she could order us after winning the spice contest

At midnight, she insists to go to the registration room to look for something

She deprived us of sleep

Really unlucky

Right

Why does she go to the registration room when she needs to make balm?

And find annals?

That's right. I'm so annoying

Forget it, don't say it

at lest she should hear what we say

She is now a celebrity

Even when she hears, so what?

They will leave here when the competition is over

At that time, they will enjoy their blessings and we will continue to suffer from our hardships

There is no record of that batch of pearl powder here

If it was a deliberately frame

It is impossible to be recorded.

Two sisters, thank you

I found what I need and good bye

Boss Ni, you are welcome

When you win the game,

Remember to invite us to have a drink

Right

Thank you for your good words

See you

See you

Let's rest quickly too

That's right

I stand sore on my feet

Girls

I am the envoy of Lan Zhao, Wuyi

The princess asked me to the storeroom to find something

This is the directory

You will look for so many things

I might not be able to sleep today

Just don't sleep

Anyway, the sleepy bug was beaten away by the girl from Herb Hall.

Could it be that Nichang still looked for something in the storeroom late in night?

She did not go to the warehouse, but the registry room

But she has gone

Wuyi, please come in

You kick it over

Yes

Here

Wuyi, come over and play for a while

Princess, I can't kick the shuttlecock

You should play with Little Hou Ye

We are tired of playing with each other for so long

Wuyi, let's play chess

How is your chess skill?

I...

I don't know how to play chess

Then you have no other hobbies except weaving and embroidery?

No

Really boring

Xinyue doesn't know how to play chess either

Well

I'd better go to the Bureau to play with those old ladies

Liu Zixuan

What do you mean?

You would rather talk to those old women than to accompany me?

Don't look down on those old ladies in the Palace Bureau

They are not only good at chess

but also have interesting stories

The stories won't be the same even if told for 100 years

I don’t listen to those false stories

They've been there all their lives

What event didn't they experience?

No need to coin a story

Within this forbidden city

From Palace and city Bureau to Qingliu Pavilion

They know all kinds of weird things

I'm going to talk to them when I'm fine. It's interesting

They are much better than the outside storyteller

Xinyue, I'll take you there another day

See you, now

Really?

I saw it wit my eyes

Nichang found something like annals in the registration room of the Palace City Bureau

What does she want to do?

Is it possible that she wants to check something?

Uncle

This Nichang has always had a grudge against us

Isn't she looking for a chance to deal with the Su family?

After all, the Su family has a close relationship with the Palace ans city Bureau

Is there any evidence left there?

But even if there are any evidence, she can't even know it.

Who on earth is she?

Wenxiu

You go back and help me keep an eye on this woman

Let me make plans

Uncle, I'll go back now

Wenxiu

You haven't been home for a long time

Stay at home for one night tonight

Although you are at odds with Wenyu

But after all, you're a couple

You've been apart for so long. It's inevitable that you become familiar with each other

Woman should not be so stubborn

When you should succumb , you must succumb

Uncle

The time to succumb to Su Wen Yufu has passed

I have given up on him a long time ago

But you married into Su's family after all

In the long run

What are the benefits for you?

I think Wenyu is not hard-hearted

The next decades

I won't stay with him for several decades

Uncle, you don't have to persuade me

Now I just want to win the competition

When I win glory for the Su family, don’t forget your promise to me, uncle,.

Why are you here now?

Mr. Su

How do you do?

What conspiracy and tricks to deal with Nichang did you discuss with my uncle again?

Yes

Your Nichang, how can I make her live better?

Let go of hatred, Wenxiu

Don't lose yourself for hatred

You now

I...?

What's wrong with me?

I lead a good life now

Su Wenyu, I must make you regret

I will make people who look down on me regret

Then you should also pay attention to your reputation

Even if it’s not for the Su family, for yourself

You have to live a decent life

The one who is least qualified to say so is you

Su Wenyu

Now it is hopeless to find clues in the warehouse

I can’t access the Palace and city Bureau’s books.

What happened back then has long been forgotten

What should I do?

father

mother

sister

Can you tell me what should I do?

Who is that?

No trace of the old case

Things happening before can be traced

Old folks can be asked

Someone knew that I was searching for clues to Xie’s family

This person is my friend or foe?

This person may remind you that there are traces of the old case

He at least is not the enemy

Things happening before can be traced

Old folks can be asked

Who should I ask

Old

Old

Old folks...

I brush this commode every day

I have no appetite when at home

No way, this is our fate

Right

Brush this side again

Hello, ladies

I'll just pour it for you

Hello ladies

I am a merchant who came to participate in the bidding conference

My name is Nichang

I made a lot of rouge balm

I want to give it to you to have a try

Ladies

We brush this toilet all day long

And we are old

Is there need to apply balm?

Do you think we are all like you these seductive women?

What you said is wrong

What's wrong?

No matter how old they are, they are still women

This woman loves beauty by nature

The young have the beauty of the young

The elder have the beauty of the elder

Besides, even if there are wrinkles on the face

and have physical inconvenience

Then you have to dress up yourself beautifully

Regardless of others, we are happy to smell nice ourselves

Right?

Sounds reasonable

Sounds reasonable

You such an old woman

The girl kindly gave you the balm

It's ok that you don’t appreciate it. You still scold her?

You scared her

Thank you

Girl

If you're willing

Can this balm be given to me?

Yes

I will apply it to you

Ok, Ok

This balm can stay scented for a day after putting it behind the ears

OK

and the wrists

OK

This balm is really fragrant

Yes

I can't even feel the smell of the toilet

Really a good thing

This is for you two

Thank you

Thank you

Lady

Here you are

If you don't like it

Take it back and give it to your daughter or daughter-in-law

Let them have a try

Don’t refuse the girl’s kindness

Yes

I accept it

Lao Wang

Don’t think that you're the one with most experience here.

You curse people fiercely all day long

Curse?

Really fragrant

I scold you. Is there any problem?

Is there any problem?

Who made you ignorant of good and bad?

Open your eyes and see

In the whole palace

There are few people who are willing to respect us

It's so precious that this girl respects us

You are still arrogant

Please forgive us

We are used to playing tricks

If you have anything good, just bring them here

Anyway, we old things are idle and free

It's nothing to help you appreciate them

Lady

You are the veteran here?

Yes

When I came here

Who knew where they were

I love listening to old people telling stories

I can listen to what happened in these hundreds of years

To broaden my eyes

If I'm free in the future, can I talk to you?

OK

You can come when you are free

I feel bored now

Great

Girl, don't forget to bring something good when you come

I'm so greedy

If you want to hear good stories, it’s not good not to give gifts.

OK

I also made a lot of new lip balm

I'll try them for you next time

lip balm

Great

I haven't used this thing for many years

The lip balm

It’s also my newly researched formula

It also contains pearl powder

Compared with ordinary ones, it's more sweet and delicate

Pearl powder?

No, thanks

I dare not use it

Lady, why not?

I don’t dare to use something made of pearl powder

You should give it to someone else

Lady, why can't this pearl powder be used?

Please tell me

It's not me who brags

I have even experienced the pearl powder bestowed by the emperor

What a shame

I don't even dare to use your ordinary stuff

the pearl powder bestowed by the emperor?

Boss Su, this jade is excellent

I heard Lord Yuan likes good jades

So I specially found it for you

Regarding the Su family, I hope you will help us in the future.

What happened to Boss Su this time is really strange

Nichang has a grudge against the Su family

Boss Su inexplicably mentioned the old things back then

Will it be too trivial?

Talking about what happened back then

I've always been uneasy

When the wind blows the grass, I am like a frightened bird

I'm anxious

Don’t blame me for making a fuss

It's all because this Nichang flipped through the archives of the palace and city bureau for no reason

This is worrying

What happened back then has been wiped out

What are you afraid of?

Even so

But...

Time has passed

I don't want to get involved anymore

Let this matter go

Lord

You really don’t want to survey this Nichang?

This person appeared out of thin air and involved a lot

I will naturally survey her

Lord, it should be sooner rather than later

This Nichang is very popular now in the palace and city bureau

And in the future

In case she wins the first prize in the bidding at the Miyako City Bureau

Then the Su's family...

Boss Su

You haven't been here for some days

We become less familiar

Fortunately, your nephew is smart

He often visits me

Today Boss Su took a piece of jade

But made many requests

What's your purpose?

Nowadays, the affairs in my house are complicated

I...

I neglected Lord Yuan

I hope my lord will forgive me

I’m afraid it’s not negligence, but deliberate alienation.

It's late

I won’t let Boss Su here

A' mo

Boss Su

Please

See you

A' mo

Ys

Nichang

Survey her

Yes

Fu San'er

Fu San'er

Who's that?

I'm A' Qiang

While Lord Gao is not at home

Let's go out to gamble and drink wine

If I can get out, do I still use you to call?

Gao Xuan, the couple, have already spoken to the porter

As long as I escape, I will have my leg broken

I will take you through the back door

Hurry up

Hurry up

The girl from Tianxianglou is waiting for you

Which way to go?

This way

This way

Brother, you are too righteous

How can I thank you?

We are brothers

Hush

Quietly

Who are you?

Thanks

Lord

Lord

Lord

Lord

Lord, bad news

Lord

How dare you

You regard this place what?

Fu San'er

Fu San'er

He escaped

Which Fu San'er?

My, my nephew

He's the one that we sent to poison Ouyang Ziyu last time.

What nonsense are you talking about?

Go out

Go out

Yes

Didn't you drive him away?

How can he escape?

I originally wanted to send him away

But my wife didn't let me do that

I just wanted to hide him

I never expected

This morning, he is gone

Them hurry to look for him

If Ouyang Ziyu finds him first

Do you know the consequences?

I have sent someone to find him, my lord

But I'm afraid

You said that if he is caught by Ouyang Ziyu, then...

Then let him shut up forever

Lord, he's my nephew

I...I...

Yes

Wen Xiu had a word, boldly tell you

Although Ouyang Ziyu is the prince

But there is no foundation in the capital

And he has not many connections

Lord Yuan, as the leader of the Palace and City Bureau, holds real power

You're not inferior to him

Fu San'er, this thing can be serious or meaningless

Even if the trouble is learned by the emperor

It may possible that the emperor won't help him

At that time, Lord Gao insists that

Fu San'er is used to being a robber

Hsi murdering Ouyang Ziyu is also for money

It has nothing to do with you

With only his words

What can Fu San'er frame you?

Lord Yuan

The man in the Lord Gao's family commits the crime

There is no reason to involve you

Right?

Lord

This matter is indeed Lord Gao too worried

You go back and rest first

Yes

You deserve to be the young lady of the Su family

Really have a bit of smartness

It's Wenxiu's honor to share your worries

Prince

Prince

That guy told the truth

It really was Gao Xuan's trick

In order to prevent you from participating in the matters of the Palace City Bureau

He's afraid you will stop them from making a fortune

Gao Xuan is just a pawn

Yuan Daocheng is the master behind

Prince, what should we do next?

Just relying on a testimony from Fu San'er, we can't defeat Yuan Daocheng

Lock him up first

When necessary, let the dog out to bite the other dog

I see

Lady

Lady Wang

It's you, girl

Come on, sit down, sit down

sit down

Lady

Don't drink too much alcohol

I brought you some braised beef

I made it by myself

Have a taste

I didn't expect you have such craft

Nice

Could you be that the goddess has come down?

Lady, if you like it,

I'll do more next time

Lady, I have something to ask you

You said yesterday that the pearl powder should not be used

Why?

Don't you blame me. I can make powder

So I'm curious. I want to ask the reason

In that year, the Palace and City Bureau brought a box of pearl powder

I stole a bit out

and shared it with the sisters

They mixed it with pollen

and applied it on face

Unexpectedly, their faces swelled like pig heads the next day

You said whether I should use it?

The things must be good bought by the Palace and City Bureau

Why did they swell like a pig's head?

Yes

I remember it was the pearl powder from the emperor

They sealed it and put it in the warehouse

They said it would be sent to Xie's Family

Is the Xie's family who makes silk in the eastern of the city?

Right

At that time,

The Palace and City Bureau was not as strict as it is now.

It was common for us to steal things to sell or use them by ourselves

I thought such a good thing, I had to enjoy it myself.

But I didn’t expect something bad as soon as I came in the warehouse

Su Gongming

It's him

I saw him doing something around the pearl powder box for a while

I don't know what he did

After he left,

I took my hairpin to pry a seam at the side of the pearl powder box

And with that yellow paper, I rolled it into a thin roll

Then I stole a little pearl powder out

I didn't expect it would be a bad thing when I went back and used it

Their faces are swollen into pig heads

Later, the deacon in charge knew about this matter.

She scolded me

Lady

What did Su Gongming to sent to the Palace and City Bureau

The Su family has always been in contact with the Palace and City Bureau

It was normal to send something in

You mean that he contacted with pearl powder after entering the room

I do not know

I do not know

I Just watched him doing something there for a while

I don't know what he did

Then was there any records when Su Gongming entered?

Deacon Zhao, who was in charge, was responsible for checking things in and out

Deacon Zhao, she should have a record, right?

Lady

Lady

Did Su Gongming do something bad?

It means that the pearl powder has been exchanged before it arrived at your house.

But when my family received pearl powder

The seal above the box was in good condition

It is impossible for Su Gongming to forge the imperial seal on his own

He is a businessman

How could he be possible to enter the warehouse of the Palace Bureau at will?

Unless Yuan Daocheng helped him

But this matter still needs evidence

I'll search for it again

I will find it definitely
