(Episode 63)

(Petition for Uncontested Divorce)

Thanks for finally agreeing.

I'll let you know once we have a court date.

It isn't just the divorce.

You said you'd let me see Hoon...

if I see a psychiatrist, right?

I thought about it, and I think that would be best.

It's true that I've become irritable because of the movie shoot.

I'll do it for Hoon.

Do you mean it?

I'm surprised that you agree with me...

about Hoon too.

Of course, you are.

This is an act.

I know it was wrong of me to hold Hoon hostage...

to keep you from leaving me.

We're breaking up anyway.

I was excessive.

Sorry for taking Hoon.

I'm glad you think that. I'll accept your apology.

May I ask you something?

Since we're breaking up anyway, please be honest with me.

What is it?

Why couldn't you forget Eun Jo while you were living with me?

You said before...

that you thought...

we could remember Eun Jo together if you married me.

It's not like I have completely forgotten her.

You know she was my best friend. No one else could ever compare.

I'm sure you were disappointed when I told you...

to throw away the tux she made for you.

Tell me.

What does Eun Jo mean to you?

To me,

Eun Jo is time lost.

But that time didn't stop.

I felt like she was still alive somewhere,

hiding,

and that I had to find her.

You never accepted her death...

even for a moment.

Then what about Ga Heun?

What is she to you?

You were drawn to her because she looked like Eun Jo.

No, that wasn't why.

It was destiny.

What? Destiny?

Eun Jo was inside...

of Ga Heun.

You knew instinctively...

that she was Eun Jo.

You're too honest.

I can't bear to listen anymore.

Bye.

Did you know?

You were my destiny too.

You are no longer my Sun Hyuk.

Ms. Oh.

- What, Ga Heun? - I read the article.

I understand you weren't feeling well,

but you should've told us before leaving.

Eun Jo. How long will you fool me...

and act like Ga Heun?

How did you become Ji Na Hwang's daughter?

What are you up to?

It is improper for an actress to suddenly flake on a shoot.

Make sure it doesn't happen again.

Do you think I'll let you take revenge on me?

I need to discuss a costume with you. Come with me.

Fine. Let's see what act you put on in front of me now.

For the pool scene,

we'll go with a standard leather jacket.

The color theme of the fourth identity in the fight scene...

will be red to signify murder.

Eun Jo.

You changed your name, your occupation,

and your mom.

You even changed your personality.

But why didn't you change your face?

Where did you get the arrogance to come back looking the same?

Do you take me for a fool?

I noticed you wore red often...

in your other movies.

Do you want a different color?

You brought up memories of Eun Jo and tormented me.

I'm the idiot for not realizing it was you.

You wanted me to recognize you, didn't you?

But sorry.

I will never let on that I know you're Eun Jo.

Ms. Oh.

Why won't you answer me?

I just signed the divorce papers.

Do you mean it?

Yes. You won.

Congrats on stealing my husband.

Let me ask you something.

Did you seduce my husband to play him?

Or was it love?

Be honest.

You can tell me that much. After all, I gave him a divorce.

Do you want the truth?

Because I'm Eun Jo.

That's right. Give me the truth.

You're Eun Jo.

Sun Hyuk and I...

were destined.

You're saying the same thing Sun Hyuk said.

What?

Destined?

Fine. I hope you two will be happy.

The local brand's name is DDM Venus?

Yes, Mother. It's too tacky, isn't it?

DDM Queen named it, but...

No, no. It's perfect.

Many people use acronyms to name brands in a simple way.

DDM Queen is a genius even with words.

DDM...

It's catchy.

Pardon?

DDM is catchy?

Yes. It's catchy.

I have a feeling it'll catch on...

and become a hit.

You're so right.

I have to get to a meeting. Excuse me.

And...

Mother. That's my go-to item.

You know about it too.

Of course, I do.

I feel like I'm getting more wrinkles lately.

Hush. Let's be the only ones getting prettier.

Of course.

But she dumped you after the plagiarism incident.

Can you trust her?

Find dirt on her.

That way, she can't disrespect you.

Mother. You know how you've been laundering money...

through the Miss Ju Collection?

Will Mr. Kim manage it again...

through DDM Venus as well?

Yes. He will.

He has been doing a great job.

He never got caught even when we got audited.

I wish you could've trusted me...

as much as you trusted Mr. Kim.

I see.

I'll give him the sales details as I have been.

Okay. Yes, do that.

I'll have to make a copy of her slush fund transactions...

as DDM Queen said.

I know Soon Jung is like a flower,

but if she finds out I stole Sang Man's fortune,

she'll want to kill me.

No. If that frail woman finds out,

she won't be able to handle it.

You know I'm devoted to you, Soon Jung.

So I will take it with me to the grave.

Se Rin thinks I did everything...

and trampled all over my devotion.

But it's not like I can tell her it was Hwang Ga Heun.

No. Hwang Ga Heun will take it out on Se Rin.

I can't put her in danger just for my comfort.

I'll take it to the grave for you, Se Rin.

Wook Do. This crazy freak tricked his crush,

who was married to his friend...

and stole his entire fortune...

as soon as he died.

If his crush were to find that out, she'd never forgive him, right?

Father. You mean Ms. Bae, don't you?

That's right. You played a part too.

Darn it.

Wook Do knows way too much...

about my dirty past.

Once you double your investment with Madam Black,

you'll buy an uninhabited island...

and live happily ever after with her.

You can make it up to her by giving her a life of luxury.

Right?

You have no idea how comforting it is...

that you know my secrets.

Thanks.

Gosh, Father.

So... This is about one of my minions.

He took the fall for a crime for the woman he loves,

but she is unaware and curses at him.

But she'll be in danger if the secret gets out.

So he says he'll take the secret with him to the grave.

But is that being wise?

What a cool dude.

He's qualified to love someone.

Tell that minion.

She'll appreciate his devotion someday.

You have a good eye for men.

I'm sure Ms. Bae will appreciate your devotion someday too.

Right? I shouldn't just sit here.

I should go and show her my devotion.

I need to buy Se Rin a new phone to try to win her back.

(Jewang Group Online Concert)

I was never able to settle it with Soon Jung...

because Fiery Pants always got in the way.

- Soon Jung. - Oh my gosh.

Mr. Ju.

I'm finally professing my love for you.

Please live with me for the next 100 years.

I'll make you...

the happiest woman on earth.

Why are you doing this again?

Cho Shim will freak out if she sees you.

Don't worry about Fiery Pants.

Why won't you understand how I feel for you?

I said I'll give you a life of luxury.

Stop... Stop this!

Wait. Wait.

Look. I need an answer today.

I even invested in an island in the Pacific...

so that we can share a beautiful retirement together.

Soon Jung. Please accept my love.

I love you, Soon Jung.

- Stop it! - I love you, Soon Jung.

- Soon Jung. - Stop it!

Get off my mom!

What was that? Your mom?

If you try something with my mom again,

I'll make you pay!

It's... It's a ghost!

Eun Jo... I... I'm sorry.

Please forgive me. Sorry!

It's a ghost!

Ghost!

Are you all right?

Yes... Yes, I'm all right.

No, I'm not all right.

I tried so hard to make sure...

Eun Jo and Eun Gyul...

wouldn't be ashamed of me.

Do you feel better now?

Yes. Thanks, Ga Heun.

What brings you here anyway?

Right.

I came to give you this.

Our company is hosting an online concert.

It's an invitation.

Thank you. I promise I'll go.

So...

Earlier...

When you said I was your mom...

Ga Heun. You really seemed like Eun Jo...

to me.

It felt like my Eun Jo saved me.

It felt really nice.

I want...

to be your daughter.

May I?

Of course, you may.

But... You don't have to worry about me.

Cho Shim taught me...

how to kick out mean customers.

Even with Tae Sik.

I gave him a bloody nose before...

and slapped him with my slipper.

- You did? - It's true.

That runt is no match for me.

I'm home.

It's Mom and Sis!

Our family is together.

These are family tickets for our company's online concert.

Come if you have time. You too, Bo Mi.

Gosh. I get to watch something fun thanks to my son.

Will there be performances?

- Who's performing? - You'll see.

Also, Ha Ra signed the divorce papers today.

She did?

She did?

I'll have custody of Hoon,

and she agreed to do as I wish regarding seeing him too.

You don't have to worry about him anymore.

I'm going to my room now.

Wait...

Gosh.

So they really are getting divorced.

Good. That feels so cathartic.

But it isn't like Ha Ra to give him a divorce so easily.

What if she's up to something again?

Hey. Please keep things like that to yourself.

You always guess correctly,

so I get scared every time you say something.

Do you realize that?

She kidnapped her own child.

Who knows what evil she's scheming?

Anyway, Sun Hyuk can live happily with Ga Heun now.

What? What was that? What do you mean?

Hey. Isn't Ga Heun...

going out with their president?

That's an act. It's fake.

It's only until they launch the new brand.

It's like a contract relationship.

What? What was that?

Do all rich people...

lie all the time?

Sun Hyuk said there was nothing between them.

Did he lie to me again?

Forget it. I'm not going.

I can't!

Really? Then I'll bring Eun Gyul.

Hey. Give that back.

I have to see for myself.

I have to see just what their relationship is.

You gave Sun Hyuk permission to get divorced?

He has another woman.

His heart has left already.

Let them get divorced as quietly as possible.

A woman?

Does Ha Ra know about her?

How could she not?

It was bad enough she neglected her son,

but she hired someone to kidnap him too.

How could he live with a wife like that?

I'd be disgusted with her too.

Is that why Ha Ra has seemed nervous lately?

Even still.

You plan to enter into politics next year.

At least until then... No.

At least until Ha Ra finishes her movie shoot.

You should've told him...

not to be rash, and to take time to think it over.

Do you think I permitted it readily?

But Ha Ra is just too much.

I don't know what she's thinking anymore.

She's frightening.

I know she's my daughter,

but I feel like she's hiding something huge. She scares me.

Get them divorced quietly...

before she does something else.

He'll absolutely faint if he finds out...

that I killed Na Yeon.

He must never find out.

(Evl wtch killd Ha Jn's mom)

"Evil witch killed Ha Jun's mom"?

Yes, good-looking young man. Do you get it?

Evil witch?

Who's the evil witch?

The vice president. This is so frustrating.

My eyes sting.

Goodness, Chairman Han.

You're calling Ms. Geum "the evil witch" again.

Have some fruit.

Ms. Geum killed Oh Ha Jun's mother?

Yes, that's right.

I succeeded in communicating with Chairman Han.

As you predicted, she said...

Geum Eun Hwa killed Sung Na Yeon.

Really? What else?

She isn't used to the communication method yet,

so we couldn't talk for long.

One thing for sure is, she knows the truth about Sung Na Yeon,

and had a stroke while arguing with Ms. Geum about it.

Keep communicating with her.

I'm sure there's a witness who saw what happened.

You were right.

All we need to do now...

is find a witness who can prove it.

Then you'll have to let Ha Jun know first.

What about the chairman?

I'm not sure.

Will he believe it?

If he were capable of it,

he wouldn't have let her manipulate him all these years.

We have to tell Ha Jun.

That way, he'll strike her down with his rage.

Do you think he can handle the truth?

He's naive and innocent.

Se Rin will give us proof of her embezzlement too.

We don't need to use him...

Will you be satisfied with just ruining her professionally?

Just as the innocent Eun Jo transformed...

into the revenge incarnate Ga Heun when she learned the truth,

make Ha Jun do the same.

Revenge without rage is incomplete.

Okay, I understand.

Wook Do figured out that we bugged Se Rin's phone?

Yes, that's right.

Does he know you did it?

Even if he does, he won't be able to tell her...

since I know his weakness.

We can bug her phone again.

- If you need... - That's not necessary.

She became DDM Queen's loyal servant.

We need to install a camera in Chairman Han's room.

Please make sure you don't get caught.

Yes, ma'am.

(New Brand Mapsy Customer Appreciation Concert)

Good job, Ms. Hwang.

The article was good, and the customers are excited.

It was all Mr. Oh.

Please go inside.

I get to see such beautiful things thanks to Ga Heun.

- Hello. - Hi.

Hi.

I'll watch Ga Heun and Sun Hyuk like a hawk today.

Please enjoy yourselves.

I will. Thanks.

Wow, it's Master!

- My gosh. Hello. - Hello.

How have you been?

And you, Ms. Cha?

Well, of course.

Thank you so much for the gifts.

My friend Soon Jung and I became much prettier.

My back feels much better too.

I'm glad.

- Let's go in. - Yes, let's.

Hello? DDM Venus.

Dad? What's wrong?

Please accept my love.

I love you, Soon Jung.

- Stop it! - I love you, Soon Jung.

Get off my mom!

What was that? Your mom?

That was just like the way Eun Jo would come at me...

to protect her mom.

- What's wrong, Dad? - Se Rin.

About that woman Hwang Ga Heun...

My gosh. You're as pale as a ghost.

You look just like me when I first saw Ga Heun.

You must've been shocked because she looks so much like her.

Yes.

She said not to touch her mom about Soon Jung,

and glared at me with those scary eyes.

And she called Soon Jung...

"Mom."

Ga Heun's mom is Ji Na Hwang. You must've misheard...

Did she really call her that?

It's true.

She grabbed me by the collar...

and said not to try anything with her mom...

Dad! Did you try something with her again?

I did not.

I told her that I invested in a Pacific island,

and asked her to spend our silver years together.

I held her hands and professed my feelings.

That's sexual harassment!

You can go to jail for that.

Anyway, it was really Eun Jo.

It was Eun Jo, the way she got angry when it came to her family!

It was like she came back to life!

My gosh.

True. Eun Jo would never take it if anyone did anything...

to her mom or Eun Gyul.

Se Rin.

What is this?

My love. Please accept it.

How can I trust you?

You bugged my phone,

used my secret to threatened me,

wrecked my engagement, and killed my lifelong dream!

What do you plan to do now?

What you're doing now is domestic abuse.

Se Rin. I have a secret that I can't share.

I don't care to know, so get lost right now.

You are so mean to me.

I buried Hwang Ga Heun in the woods for you.

I kidnapped Ha Ra's son...

to refill the 400,000 dollars that you stole.

Every time Ha Ra was mean to you,

I was your shield and took the beatings for you.

True. He is the only person who did things like that...

for me.

Darn it. I shouldn't get soft.

During my entire life as a thug,

my ironclad rule was to never touch women and children.

But I broke it for you.

Even so, I was happy I could help you.

Wait. I may need him if I want to get dirt...

on Ms. Geum.

Yes. It'll be a waste to cut him loose now.

Fine.

Okay, I'll accept it.

I still don't trust you,

but I'll let it slide this time.

If you do that one more time, I'll never talk to you again.

Se Rin.

Have you lost your mind? I said not to cross the line!

You kissed me last time too.

I can't stand you. I really can't stand you.

Get lost!

Darn it.

(New Brand Mapsy Customer Appreciation Concert)

(Our Most Beautiful Days)

Did you enjoy yourselves?

- Yes! - Yes!

We have a special performance to end the event.

He's the model for the new brand. Ryu Ji Kwang.

Let's welcome him to the stage!

(Our Most Beautiful Days)

Hello everyone, I'm Ryu Ji Kwang.

I love you. Thank you.

Honey!

Honey!

(Our Most Beautiful Days)

It can't be

It couldn't be

However, I keep looking back

She fell from that high of a bridge...

into the freezing river.

There must be aftereffects from nearly dying.

Did you look into it?

Yes. As you suspected,

Hwang Ga Heun doesn't use the pool.

The employee there said she is afraid of water.

She is?

Don't let the stunt double come to today's swimming pool shoot.

What? Why?

You hired her yourself since she's doubling for you.

Should I find someone else?

No. I don't need her anymore.

I found someone else to do it.

Then what about Ga Heun? What is she to you?

You were drawn to her because she looked like Eun Jo.

No, that wasn't why.

It was destiny.

Did you seduce my husband to play him?

Or was it love?

Sun Hyuk and I...

were destined.

What a perfect spot to test destiny.

Hi.

She's getting into character.

I'll have her change.

Please be quick. We need to shoot as soon as the stunt double arrives.

Hi, Ga Heun.

Ha Ra has been focused like crazy for a while.

I don't know how well she plans to act this scene.

Okay. Get back to work.

Ga Heun.

Are you afraid of the water?

I brought your costume.

I need you to help me with more than just the costume.

You need to do it.

Hey! What do you mean?

Why can't the stunt double come?

I can't reach her. It's too late to find someone now.

Why you idiot!

Why can't you do your job right?

Don't you want to test destiny?

You're immortal.

You survived darkness and fire.

Water doesn't scare you, does it?

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

Please let Ga Heun rest here.

Thanks, Bo Mi.

If you choose Ga Heun, you'll never see Hoon again.

Tell me where Hoon is!

Go ahead and kill Hoon's mom with your own hands.

What is that painting for?

There's a camera hidden in that painting.

You can protect our family now.

- What's this all about? - Hold on.

Was the Star doll among the things Ha Ra took?

Ha Ra. If you saw that doll,

you must've realized it was Star.
