Legend of Fei

Episode 50

Wait!

Why are you here? -General Wen said Disha left.

We can finally return to our village.

We're grateful for your help. So we're here to send you off.

It's a token of appreciation. I hope you can accept it.

Thank you very much.

No manners.

Thank you. -I want to be like you...

...in the future and help those in need.

Be like me, not him. -Move aside.

You can do it. -Then, you must take care.

I'll miss all of you.

Goodbye, all.

Goodbye. -Take care!

Have a safe journey! -Take care!

Take good care of yourselves!

Take care! -Have a safe journey!

We'll miss you!

"Disha Manor"

Master, we've found almost 100 skilled workmen.

From tomorrow onwards, we'll start forging weapons and armours.

Good, tell them to speed up...

...and not to waste time.

Yes, Master.

Unearth all the buried treasure from Qimen's forbidden land.

Yes, Master. -Also,...

...capture and lock...

...all of the villagers of Great Apothecary Valley.

Rest assured, I'll head to Great Apothecary Valley now.

What's wrong?

I've been staying in the room for days. It's so boring.

I came looking for you since you're not there.

Are you feeling better?

Yes, I feel more energetic...

...after coming back here.

The weather is pretty good today. Why don't we go to Chunhui?

I want to take you somewhere else.

What are we going to do there?

You'll know when we reach there.

Where exactly are we going?

You'll know when we arrive.

Wait, I don't want to listen to a lame play.

Of course not, I don't write many plays.

Come on.

A tailor shop?

Aunt Wang. -Mr. Xie, you're here.

Have a seat.

I'll pour you some tea. -Aunt Wang,...

...is it done? -Yes.

Wait, I'll bring it to you.

What is it?

You really have good taste.

The dress for this lady is so beautiful.

Try it. If it's not right, I'll alter it for you.

It's all right. I can tell the measurements are correct.

Are you asking for a beating? -Don't spoil this dress.

I have some fabric hanging outside.

I won't bother you two then.

Put it on and see if you like it.

Enough, just go.

Do I look all right?

You're very pretty.

Why aren't you as chatty as usual? Is there something wrong?

You look so pretty in it that I'm speechless.

So, I want to take a longer look.

Why did you make a red dress for me?

I thought about it when I was in Penglai.

I want to bring with me the lady in red in my drawing.

There's no rush. You can bring me along after you recover.

A'Fei, no matter what happens in the future,...

...you must live well.

Promise me, all right?

I promise you.

A'Fei,

...why are you so silly?

I know you want to test the antidote on my behalf,..

...but if anything bad happens to you,...

...how can I feel at ease?

A'Fei,...

...if I'm no longer here,...

...you must live well,...

...understand?

Did Zhou Fei come and see you lately?

No, she didn't. Not at all.

She only asked me to find an antidote for you.

No need to hide it from me. I already know it.

You knew she wanted to test the antidotes for you?

This girl.....

Why did I.....

Brother Ying, I don't want her to test it.

You two are driving me mad.

No.

I'm dying anyway. There are two types of antidotes.

I either die or live. There's a fifty-fifty chance.

I'll pick one and drink it, that's all.

If I pick the right one, then it's great.

If it's the wrong one, it's not a loss for someone who's dying.

Zhou Fei has already... -As Southern Saber's...

...descendant, she should lead the new generation.

She has many responsibilities.

I won't let her take the risk for me.

As the saying goes, don't be happy to live. Don't be afraid to die.

Don't tell me I can't decide my own life.

What do you think, Brother Ying?

As a physician,...

...I can't kill someone to save someone.

All right, I won't say anything since you've decided.

Thank you, Brother Ying.

Don't worry, I'll handle A'Fei.

You only need to prepare two antidotes tomorrow.

All right.

By the way,...

...there's something else. -Do tell.

I need sleeping drug that can make someone sleep the whole night.

This is colourless and odourless. A skilled person like Zhou Fei...

...won't even notice.

Thank you.

A'Fei, if I never met you,...

...I wouldn't have lived this long.

If this is the wrong antidote,...

...I hope I don't have to be Xiao Chuan...

...in my next life.

Instead, I hope...

...I can be a water grass in Ximo River...

...to watch 48 Stronghold...

...and you day and night.

According to my grandmaster...

...there are eight types of suffering...

...in the world. They revolve around life and death.

A'Fei,...

...with you in my life,...

...even if it's just for a brief time,...

...I've lived my life to the fullest.

I have no regrets.

The last ingredient to cure the poison...

...is either Kumucao or Kuxueya. I'm not sure which.

If we fail, not even the gods could save you.

A'Fei.

Xie Meimei.

A'Fei,...

...farewell for now.

I'll come for you after 20 years.

It's a promise.

"Poxue Skills have been passed down to me.

I can practise Impermanence to perfection,...

...but what about my own impermanence?

In the end,...

...it's all for nothing.

It doesn't help at all.

Xie Yun.

No, I can't let him remain this way.

Qiwu Mantra.

I can give it a try.

Xie Yun, open your eyes and look at me.

Look at me.

Xie Yun,...

...you said...

...you'd bring me to fish by Dongting Lake,...

...see the ocean in Penglai,...

...basking under the sun in Southern Xinjiang.

You even told me you'd be my maid who'd comb my hair.

We haven't done any of these yet!

Wake up!

After 20 years of not seeing you, you didn't grow old a bit.

Which water grass are you?

Looks like you've recovered pretty well.

It's thanks to you for taking good care of me.

You might have to give yourself to me in this lifetime,...

...the next life and the life after that.

I wish to grow old with you.

Till death do us part.

I'll listen to everything you say from now on, my wife.

All right,...

...let's bid farewell here.

After all that we've been through, I'm used to having you here.

He'll save people and revive Great Apothecary Valley.

We should support him.

All right then. -I'm so lucky...

...to have met you two.

My time with you...

...has been the happiest and most meaningful moment.

Thank you...

...for letting me know what I should do.

Yang Jin, you must treat her well.

A'Yan, if he bullies you, just write to me.

I'll send snakes to teach him a lesson.

It's a promise.

All right, it's already late. I should get going now.

See you.

See you.

Goodbye!

Be careful along the way!

See if there's any treasure left in Qimen's forbidden land.

Capture the rest!

Oh, no! Disha is back to catch us! Take Xiaohu with you and run!

Xiaohu, get in there!

Stay here quietly, all right?

Let's go! -Run!

Is there anyone?

Xiaohu!

Aunt Chun!

Uncle Lu!

Xiaohu, are you all right? What happened?

My parents were captured.

Master!

Speak. -Here's what I found out.

Zhou Yitang's tiger tally is with General Wen Yu.

Their camp is 10km ahead.

Very good.

General, Shen Tianshu's men came to send a message.

What is it?

He wants to meet you in the wild outside the military camp.

It's about Ocean Sky. -What?

General, Disha is vicious. It might be a trap.

Please don't go.

Shen Tianshu is deceitful and cunning.

He wouldn't simply mention Ocean Sky.

He probably has found the treasure.

I must see him in person.

General Wen, it's been years. How are you?

Just cut to the chase. -I'm here to catch up.

Traitor.

If I stayed in the army, Wang Lin would have reclaimed the state.

How arrogant and conceited you are.

Have you forgotten how you lost your arm?

It's actually a blessing in disguise.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have known The Art of Iron Making...

...from the blacksmith who forged this arm.

It can create invincible weapons that cuts iron as if it's mud.

The secret art...

...is actually hidden in Ocean Sky.

Wen Yu, I'm here to make peace.

With my invincible weapons...

...and your strong Anping Army,...

...if we join forces..... -We are not the same type of men.

It's a pity.

Wen Yu, make a wise decision according to the circumstances.

Why would Ying Hecong write me a letter?

He wrote to you alone. Why didn't he write to me?

How would I know? -Why you? It should be us.

"To Zhou Fei"

I think he wrote it to all of us.

"A'Fei, I initially decided to be a physician.

So, I rushed back to the valley.

It shocked me when I reached my hometown.

Hundreds of huts were destroyed in a day.

The villagers were caught by Disha.

I only saw Xiaohu. I'm heartbroken."

Shen Tianshu is so despicable!

In this case, Shen Tianshu must have taken away...

...the objects of Ocean Sky.

We received news that General Wen was killed by Shen Tianshu.

He even took away Anping Army's tiger tally.

General Wen Yu? -Yes.

Even General Wen Yu is.....

Anping Army has no commander now.

Shen Tianshu has been colluding with Yu Wenzhi.

I'm afraid his ambition is to dominate...

...and conquer the world.

If Yu Wenzhi and Shen Tianshu launch their troops,...

...countless people will suffer.

We must stop those two.

Yes,...

...it's time to get back at him.

Tell Ying Hecong to come along. He'll definitely help us.

Leave Yu Wenzhi to A'Sheng and me.

What about me? -You will.....

Keep watch here. -Yes,...

...we need someone we can trust to watch over the stronghold.

All right, I'll protect the stronghold.

We have no time to lose. Let's get ready.

I hope the stronghold is still here when we get back.

All right, let's head out.

We're meeting the minister at the guest house in two days.

Let's get going. -Sorry to trouble you again.

With you around, I don't feel that way.

Let's get going. -All right.

Giddy up! -Giddy up!

The weapons you made are extremely sharp,...

...but they break not long after being used.

Did you...

...follow exactly how Xie Yun did it?

We followed exactly what he did. That's the cause of the issue.

I think he demonstrated it wrongly on purpose...

...so that we remembered it wrongly.

That's why the sabers don't last.

You're a blacksmith.

Didn't you know if he tricked us?

Take the new batch of sabers here. -Yes, Master.

Hold them.

Since you're useless swordsmiths,...

...join your grandmasters, Gan Jiang and Mo Ye.

Master Shen!

Master Shen,...

...if I'm not mistaken,...

...I know what he did.

Speak. -He added shards to the sword.

This will affect the durability of the sword.

That's why it breaks not long after it's used.

Change it right away. -Yes.

What have you found out?

I asked the disciples who went to Hanshui that day.

They said Master Shen left Lianshen as a bait...

...so that everyone else could escape.

That's how she ended up being killed by Zhou Fei.

Shen Tianshu,...

...my sister and I had been loyal to you...

...without any complaint.

However, we're just pawns that you could simply discard.

"Notes on Forging Weapon"

I made it.

I made it!

I finally made it!

I finally made it!

Good. Very good.

Why are you so happy?

Master Lu, I've finally decoded The Art of Iron Making.

The newly made weapons are sharp and invincible!

It's definitely the king of all sabers.

When I was on patrol, I noticed he was packing up to escape.

It turned out he wanted to escape with The Art of Iron Making.

This was his note on forging the weapons.
