Legend of Fei

Episode 49

Why don't the patterns matched?

A'Fei.

This is bad.

Why is her internal energy moving so sluggishly?

"Am I losing it?"

This is bad, she is going to lose her sense.

"Xie Meimei."

A'Fei.

"Shuibo Mark.

It seems that Ocean Sky...

...is near.

Listen. If you want to get out alive,...

...you...

...will open Ocean Sky for me.

I'm flattered.

How would I know such an important thing?

As a disciple of Chongxiaozi,...

...you surely know Qimen's mechanisms.

Didn't you open the entrance of this forbidden place of Qimen?

I'll be frank with you then. I can open Ocean Sky for you,...

...but you must promise three things.

Firstly, you must let them go.

Secondly, you must give Apothecary King Record to me.

You can keep the rest.

Thirdly,...

...I'll tell you later.

Do you think I can't open Ocean Sky if I kill you all?

That's right.

You can't open it.

Why am I back again?

Zhou Fei.

This is somehow your destiny...

...and Xie Yun's.

No. I don't believe in destiny.

All right. I promise you.

You can't escape and you can't change all this.

Everything is an illusion.

Everything is meant to be.

So stop struggling.

I won't surrender to the so-called destiny!

Now I need five objects of Ocean Sky.

Yin and Yang reinforce and counteract each other.

Qimen skills originated from Bagua.

All secrets are contained in this Bagua Map.

Three full lines of Qian, opening in northwest.

Six broken lines in Kun, eight areas in southwest.

Eight areas in southwest.

Opening a the top, double ze in the west.

Double ze in the west.

Opening at the bottom, no wind in southeast.

Upright bowl image, four thunders in the east.

"I hope I'm correct about the last one."

Plants grow from a dry land.

Fire melts ice into flowing water.

How to seek life when you know nothing about the place?

Wake up.

A'Fei, wake up.

A'Fei, are you all right? You lost your sense just now.

I lost my sense?

I am leaving behind Qiwu Mantra,...

...but the skills are dangerous.

Lu wrote the warning only at the end.

Who would notice it? He's wicked!

Enough, Water Grass, I'm glad that you're fine now.

Let's think of a way to get out of here.

I'm freezing. -All right.

Let's go.

Come on.

"The Art of Iron Making"

"The Art of Iron Making"

"Apothecary King Record"

What happened?

Let's go.

Master Shen.

Apothecary King Record.

I understood something at your age.

You should fight for everything that you want by yourself.

I'm not an ungrateful person. You opened Ocean Sky for me.

So I'll spare your lives.

Don't try to trick me.

Let's go. -Noted.

Kill and spare no one. -Noted.

Not bad, girl.

Stop talking. Leave those things behind!

What is going on?

What is happening? -Master Lu.

I think it's from the forbidden place of Qimen.

A'Fei.

Let's go!

A'Fei, let's go!

Leave me. Go!

Hurry!

We've triggered the trap! It's going to collapse! Run!

Come on.

Let's go! -Go!

The door is broken! Take this way!

A'Fei, don't worry.

Mr. Xie should be fine. -I know.

He won't die for the time being,...

...but.....

Ying Hecong, keep this half of the Apothecary King Record for me.

Sure.

Cousin, bring everyone to hide in a safe place. I'll find Xie Yun.

Shen Tianshu might want this.

Master, there's a variety of treasure in Ocean Sky.

Why did you take only this book?

The ironsmith...

...who forged this iron hand for me had superb skills.

He created this hand as a powerful weapon.

However, he told me...

...there's a better skill in the Art of Iron Making.

My iron hand is nothing...

...compared to weapons forged using the skills.

I sought for the skills for years.

In the end, I learned that Huang Shenbian kept it...

...in Ocean Sky.

Is it so magical?

It's said that weapons forged using the skills...

...aren't just sharp and solid. They're resilient.

If we could own weapons like that.....

Disha Manor will be invincible.

Master.

We only have half of the Art of Iron Making.

Aren't we keeping Xie Yun hostage?

We'll be able to reclaim another half.

Follow Shen Tianshu to find Xie Yun.

Can you stand thirst and hunger?

I can't run.

Why don't you grab some food?

Stop talking. Behave.

How did you join Disha?

Shen Tianshu has a bad personality and he is rude to others.

How about this?

I know people at Liu Manor. I can recommend you to them.

You're quite concerned about them.

This place isn't comparable to your old royal palace.

Sorry for this, Your Majesty.

It's nothing.

I just think Disha is regressing.

I'm worried about you.

You can still live because you're still useful to me.

It seems that the book with A'Fei is very important to you.

What's the book about?

Being too wise will harm you.

Your friend will come soon.

Xie Meimei.

Are you all right?

I'm all right. A'Fei. Where is another half of the book?

Here.

The Art of Iron Making.

What is it?

Do you still remember the legendary iron crafting?

It's right in this book.

One can forge solid weapons based on this book.

No way. We can't let Shen Tianshu get this.

However, we need another half of Apothecary King Record.

Since Shen Tianshu wants this book so badly,...

...why don't we make use of it?

Can you memorise it?

Don't worry.

Oh no, we're tricked. Let's head back.

Let's go. -Go.

Master!

Master, someone broke into the room where Xie Yun was detained.

Maybe they couldn't open the chain. Xie Yun is still there.

Bring him here. I'll watch him. -Noted.

You will lead a team to search Great Apothecary Valley.

Find out where they're hiding. -Noted.

Why do you suddenly appear like a ghost? You freaked me out.

Where is Xie Yun?

Mr. Ying, do you comprehend Apothecary King Record?

Piercing Green is the world's most powerful poison.

It's hard to deduce a cure only based on half of the record.

I still need the other half.

Got it.

Do you understand?

Snake charmer, where do you want to go?

The cure of Piercing Green requires many herbs.

There may be valuable herbs in Great Apothecary Valley.

I need to study them.

We don't even know how many of Disha is left in the valley.

It's dangerous for you to go. -I know,...

...but Brother Xie can't take it anymore. I need to rush.

I'll be careful. -No.

Wait.

I heard you just now. I want to tag along.

Let's do it soon.

Let's go. -Let's go.

I'm sorry that you have to watch over me personally, Master Shen.

Master, Zhou Fei is here again. -How many of them are here?

She is alone.

Move!

Zhou Fei, you came alone.

You're courageous.

Stop talking. Get to the point.

I want Xie Yun and Apothecary King Record.

I'll exchange them with the other half of the Art of Iron Making.

Good. You're very straightforward.

Where is the book?

Look carefully. This is what you want.

The Art of Iron Making no longer exists,...

...but relax.

Xie Yun has memorised this half of the book.

"Smelt cast iron into wrought iron.

It takes several nights to turn solid.

Forge the spine with soft iron. Bathe it with urine...

...and melt it with fat of animals.

It can break a pile of 30 armours.

So? Is it the content of the book?

I've been tricked by you two again.

Good. Forge a saber using the art...

...memorised by you.

I only want the saber.

Once it's forged,...

...I'll give you Xie Yun...

...and Apothecary King Record.

All right. It's a deal.

Here. Take this.

We're looking for rare herbs. Seek carefully.

Indeed. I'll look for them. -I'll go with you.

No. It's a big valley. I think we should split up.

You're right. Split up. I'll go that way.

Be careful. -Got it.

I'll go that way. -Wait, snake charmer.

Yes? -I.....

Nothing.

I want to entrust something really valuable to you.

As the saying goes, things may be unpredictable.

I'm a martial artist. If anything bad happens to me,...

...I might not be able to entrust it to anyone.

"Really valuable? Is he referring to Li Yan?"

Will you promise me?

I will.

Good. You shouldn't go back on your word.

I won't go back on my word.

The really value thing...

...is the position of the chief of Small Apothecary Valley.

Yang Jin. I don't care about it.

You said you wouldn't go back on your word!

Seek another gentleman, but not me!

There're so many herbs here. I can become a great physician...

...if I can obtain the other half of the record.

I should've learnt properly back then.

A'Yan.

Shall we go back to Southern Xinjiang...

...after we're done here?

We are in trouble!

We are in trouble!

Disha is coming. -Let's go!

Hurry! -Wait, you.....

Get out of the way! I've lost control!

Get out of the way!

How romantic.

Where are others? Tell me where they are.

I can spare your lives.

You don't deserve an answer! Wait until you beat me.

Who are you?

Don't you know who he is?

He is the master of Cloud Ravine.

He's nicknamed Charcoal Saber in Southern Xinjiang.

The best saber. -They're similar.

It's certainly loud and clear. Kill them!

Not bad. I underestimated you.

Who are you? -Hou You?

I haven't heard of the name.

I'm a trusted aide of Master Shen...

...in Disha Manor.

You're ignorant. -What's your name again?

Hou You!

Let's go!

Retreat!

Xiao Chuan.

You're supposed to become an emperor,...

...but you're forced to forge a saber for me.

Shen Tianshu, why do you prefer being a dog...

...instead of a human?

I'm not a dog. I'm a wolf.

I feel good tonight.

So I'll teach you the way the world works.

To become truly strong,...

...you have no choice, but to go through trials.

The strong doesn't only have excellent martial arts,...

...but a heart of the world. He protects the people...

...and earns the people's respect.

What is the point of being the best martial artist?

You'll eventually bring shame to yourself.

I don't care.

A'Yan, I've always wanted to say this to you.

Come with me to Southern Xinjiang after we're done here.

I want to be with you.

What is your thought? I'm serious this time.

Youhuang (Deep in the bamboo forest).

Master Shen, I've forged the saber,...

...but there is one last procedure.

Give me Apothecary King Record first.

Otherwise, the saber will be useless.

Sure. I will keep my promise.

Take it.

All right. We'll continue the final procedure.

Allow me.

It's completed.

Take the saber. -Noted.

Master, the saber is ready.

A'Fei!

Let's go!

It's indeed a mighty weapon.

A'Fei.

You've come out at last. What happened to him?

Go back before we talk. -All right.

I've plotted a trap over here. It'll hold Disha up.

Come with me.

You've regained consciousness.

How are you? -I'm fine. I'm just tired.

Are you really all right?

Yes.

Bad news! There is a problem with this half of the record.

What is it? -Part of the words are wiped off.

Is there a way to mend it?

I can just deduce the cure based on the remaining words,...

...but the cure will work as a poison against the poison.

It'll be fatal if I use the wrong herb.

So I must be extremely careful.

I'll study more.

A'Fei.

Why don't we head back to 48 Strongholds?

If I have to die, I prefer a beautiful place.

Don't spout nonsense.

Fine. We'll go home together.

A'Yan.

A'Yan, I came to deliver food.

A'Yan, were you upset yesterday?

Aren't you annoying? You keep asking me.

I made myself so clear.

Why don't you understand?

I understand,...

...but I don't know how to reply you...

...over the important matter of travelling to Southern Xinjiang.

Have you agreed to it? -I'll just visit it with you.

Sure. I'll listen to you in everything.

All right.

This is for you.

There is a way.

Zhou Fei!

I've found the cure.

Come here. Lower your voice. He is fast asleep.

What did you say? -I've found the cure.

Is it true? -Yes.

Then..... -However, there is a problem.

I'm not sure if the last herb is Kumucao or Kuxeuya.

I thought of trying it on an animal,...

...but none can withstand its property.

What about...

...a human?

Try it on me.

Is that workable?

No. As a physician, I can't save one by killing another.

Zhou Fei, you're at least a healthy person.

You'll be ruined if I get it wrong.

Stop talking.

Just do as I say.

Zhou Fei.

Is it worth to exchange your life...

...for his? -Yes.

Don't tell anyone about this.

All right.

I'll prepare the herbs as soon as I can.
