Legend of Fei

Episode 46

Brother Li and Sister Zhou.

Master Gantang has returned to 48 Stronghold safely.

Cousin.

She's all yours.

I am told you use medication to suppress your body's poison.

I won't just kill you.

You've poisoned many. I'll give you a taste of your own medicine.

You deserve this.

We should have guessed that before Shen Tianshu left,...

...he was prepared to sacrifice you.

You just didn't expect...

...that you were used instead.

No.

He won't abandon me.

He'll come back for me.

He'll come back for me.

Grandfather, aunt,...

...I've avenged you.

"Disha Manor"

"I remember you went to Wuzhou.

Mountains appear amid the dusk.

Look towards Jiangbei on the mountain.

Gather stones and deliver catalpa branch.

The valley is full of wonder.

The morning birds sing crisply.

The mountain rocks are all around.

All four songs are played together."

Will this poem...

...really help us to find Ocean Sky Bracelet?

Liu Youliang guarded it with his life.

I think it's useful.

All the objects look uneven in quality.

They're strange indeed.

If anyone could've figured this out,...

...it would have been taken long ago.

What should we do now?

Let Tiankuang go with you.

Brother. -Master Shen is busy.

Get out of my way! -No disturbance.

Lu Tiankuang. -None of your business!

You.....

Why my sister is dead?

Are you blaming him for her death?

She simply wasn't good enough, that was why.

Gu Tianxian.

Are you blaming me for your sister's death?

She wouldn't have died if you didn't send her to 48 Stronghold.

What makes you think I sent her?

She only had feelings for you.

She would only listen to you.

"For Shen Tianshu only"

I summoned her back when she lost Shendu Seal.

This is her response for me.

It said she promised the commander...

...to retrieve the five objects of Ocean Sky Bracelet.

You recognise her handwriting. Read it for yourself.

"I swear to retrieve the five objects"

Instead of blaming me,...

...you should avenge her.

How did she die?

She was killed with Poxue Skills.

Zhou Fei?

I want to retrieve Apothecary King Record...

...of Ocean Sky Bracelet for her.

I want to help her fulfil her Lifelong wish.

I plead with you. Help me to avenge her.

You shall obey me if you really want to avenge her.

"It's worth sacrificing anything...

...to get my hands on Ocean Sky Bracelet."

How do you feel?

This is really amazing, Master Deng.

I'm nowhere as good as my master.

You're too modest.

You're way above many.

I'm not boasting here.

I read a great book that belonged to my master.

It's called the Art of Iron Making.

It teaches a rare skill of forging and melting metals.

It produces weapons that are unmatchable by today's weapon.

I'm nothing compared to my master.

Are you doubting it?

Here.

It was made by my master using that method.

Hold it.

Just try it.

Do you believe in me now?

It's really wonderful.

I hope to have a chance...

...to see the great book.

Me, too.

My master took it with him. I don't think we'll see it again.

Can't you wait for him to return?

It isn't that easy. I was told that my master...

...had presented it to the Emperor.

It's almost impossible to see it again.

Has anyone else seen it before?

I mean I can find some clues about it...

...from those who had seen it.

I've never told anyone about it before.

You're the only one I told.

This iron arm is my masterpiece.

I'm in luck.

If I could get hold...

...of such a rare skill,...

...I would become more powerful.

Master Gantang is home.

Glad to see you home, father.

A'Fei.

How's mother?

It's too late.

She was hit by Lianshen's Drown Sorrow.

According to Lianshen, the remedy...

...lies within Ocean Sky Bracelet.

However, the objects were taken away by Shen Tianshu.

Don't worry too much.

Perhaps your mother...

...can be cured by Master Tongming...

...of Penglai.

Really?

Yes.

You aren't using Suizhe...

...that you used to use.

Father.

Suizhe is broken.

this is.....

Did Xie Yun give it to you?

He must have put in a lot of effort in finding...

...such a fine saber for you.

He owed me one. So he's repaying me.

The so-called heaven's will...

...and destined fate...

...are nothing more than the excuses of a coward.

We can't escape the reality of life.

I know you very well.

You never bow to destiny.

Your sword...

...will always point forward...

...until your death.

You must always remain calm.

The outcome will be in your favour if you have a clear conscience.

I got it.

I'll take her to Penglai today.

Have some wine to keep yourself warm.

Thanks, Master Gantang.

This is the temporary remedy to suppress your coldness.

In fact, since A'Fei left home,...

...I've been observing you guys.

General Wang Lin told me...

...that you're a man of deep affection by nature.

You have the mind but not the heart that befits an emperor.

I'm afraid you may not live long.

I'm naive.

I've been escaping it for my whole life to no avail.

General Wang was right about me.

I.....

I know.

You've been trying to escape...

...from being Xiao Chuan...

...your whole life.

You only want to be Xie Yun.

That's why I accepted Anping Token when you...

...delivered it to me.

I didn't force you to go back.

I've been grateful to you.

Two generations of top martial artists...

...are killing each other for Ocean Sky Bracelet.

Even Jinrong couldn't avoid it.

Haven't you accepted the reality...

...that you're its true owner?

I thought...

Since the five objects were here at 48 Stronghold,...

...all this would come to an end.

In order to prevent any future disaster,...

...I discussed with Mistress Li...

...whether we should destroy Ocean Sky Bracelet...

...once and for all.

I know Jinrong very well.

She'd never agree to this.

I'm sorry.

Don't say that.

She didn't leave the five objects here...

...for you. It's for the people.

So I should be the one...

...apologising instead.

I'll take Jinrong to Penglai today.

I will request Master Tongming to cure her.

All this happened because of me.

I know you would never let me destroy the objects.

Since this is the case,...

...I'll locate the treasure...

...to put an end to this conflict.

No, Your Majesty.

Have you ever thought about this?

It'll be a disaster if the treasure...

...falls into the hands of Disha?

There will be conflicts and killing...

...if an ambitious schemer has it.

However, it'll benefit the people...

...if a good guy has it.

The future...

...depends on you.

Your Majesty.

Wen Yu will lead Anping Army for the time being.

Please take care of A'Fei.

In fact,...

...you're not alone.

You've gotten to know...

...a lot of people who are like-minded.

Haven't you?

I know.

A'Fei will support me, no matter what.

I swear to you.

I'll protect her...

...as long as I live.

I'll help her to solve...

...her problems wherever she goes.

Take care of yourself, A'Fei.

Your mother will be fine.

You need something to eat, A'Yan.

You haven't eaten since yesterday.

I have to practise hard for her...

...so that my aunt won't scold me when she's back.

Enough. Be good. You need to take a break.

All right.

Sister Chuchu,...

...my aunt is an amazing person. -Drink some water.

She should be fine, right? -Don't worry.

She won't just leave us all.

I'm thinking.

I would have become an expert...

...and protected everyone like A'Fei if I had practised hard.

Then she wouldn't have..... -I know you're feeling bad.

So you're practising hard now.

She won't blame you for this. Don't take it to heart.

I used to think that there're no good nor bad people out there.

I thought it's about difference in stances and thoughts.

However, now I feel...

...that some are born evil.

They destroy...

...what everyone wants by all means.

I'm not as good as others and I have no talent,...

...but there're other weapons besides martial arts.

It's just like what's written here.

I want to be like Ying Hecong.

I want to kill all in Disha.

There're things a good person should or shouldn't do.

Do we need...

...a reason to kill the bad people?

Think about the ability to use poison to kill.

Ying Hecong can do it. Even Lianshen used it.

Have you thought about the difference?

I got it.

We don't wish to see you being blinded by hatred.

I'm worried about A'Fei.

She locked herself in her room since Lianshen died.

I'm sure Master Xie will talk some sense into her.

I know how she feels.

However, Lianshen's death doesn't help at all.

Brother Xie and my aunt are her victims.

Their lives are at stake now.

However, the mastermind is still at large.

No one can stand this torture.

A'Fei can.

The old master saved you back then. You forgot about this?

I'm forever grateful to him for that.

However, everyone knows our situation now.

Aren't we on our own? -Yes.

What should we do if Disha launches a surprise attack again?

I think we must stay united at this moment.

We can't afford to be in a state of disunity.

A'Fei is here. You all can talk to her.

We, 48 Stronghold, never force anyone. You're free to leave.

I wish I could stay,...

...but who can lead 48 Strongholds if not your mother?

We nearly lost our lives in the hands of Disha numerous times.

I'm afraid we aren't so lucky this time.

You've been doing your best for us over the years, Master Niu.

We can see that.

If you want to come back in the future,...

...48 Stronghold will always welcome you.

Dear elders, I'm here to inform every one of you...

...that I'm going to search for Ocean Sky Bracelet.

48 Stronghold needs your help.

You mustn't go. I know you hate Disha.

However, you're still young.

You're being hasty. What if..... -I won't be reckless this time.

So long as Disha sets their sights on Ocean Sky Bracelet,...

...48 Stronghold won't be safe,...

...and there won't be peace anywhere else.

Where else can we hide?

"I remember you went to Wuzhou.

Mountains appear amid the dusk.

Looking towards Jiangbei on the mountain,...

...gather stones and deliver catalpa branch.

How do we enter Great Apothecary Valley?

The poem should give us a clue.

"Mountains appear amid the dusk."

It's indeed mountainous here.

"Looking towards Jiangbei on the mountain....."

Jiangbei.

What can we see?

Keep your eyes opened.

Search every inch of the place.

If similarities are found,...

...report to me at once. -Yes.

Master.

We found a strange site with unusual rocks.

"Mountains appear amid the dusk."

Is this the one?

Check for anything weird around. -Yes.

Found anything?

We found nothing yet.

"Gather stones and deliver catalpa branch."

Did you see any catalpa along the way?

There're lots of trees except catalpa.

Impossible.

The way into Great Apothecary Valley...

...must be somewhere here.

Let's move the stuff quickly. -Yes.

Be careful with the stuff.

Handle the stuff with care. -Sure.

Be careful. -Master Niu.

Sister Zhou gave these to us. -What are these?

We're moving northward. So she gave us some clothes and food.

There're some herbs as well.

She's concerned about your leg injury due to year-round practice.

The herbs will help with your condition.

She's caring indeed.

Where is she now? -She's at the training ground.

Get back to work.

Put that over there. -Sure.

Li Zheng's little granddaughter...

...wouldn't dare lie to us.

I'm still unable to solve...

...the mystery.

I've already done my best.

It's all right.

What should we...

...do next?

Cow-shaped Jade Mountain?

I accidentally got this months ago.

I thought you'd like it, Brother Zhao.

So I specially kept it for you.

You didn't have to do this.

You know my elder brother and I.....

Your brother is my master. I can't afford to offend him.

Let me finish.

What I mean...

...is that my brother may be your master now,...

...but he won't always be.

Don't you think so?

In view of our relationship,...

...I'm afraid this will be nothing to you...

...if I ever take over my brother's position one day.

Such a flawless jade. It's natural.

It's indeed a masterpiece.

A fine sword befits a hero. Hope you like it.

We have a message!

There's someone here to see you, sir.

Who's the guest? -A man by the surname of Shen.

I have something on.

I'll accept your gift.

I'll come to your aid...

...if you need my help one day.

Please sit down, Master Shen.

How can I help you?

Ocean Sky Bracelet.

I heard that the objects...

...are with Zhou Fei of 48 Stronghold.

There's nothing I can do.

All the objects of Ocean Sky Bracelet...

...are now with me.

Then I must congratulate you.

However, I don't have...

...a clue about a poem.

So I can't find it yet.

I know many talented men are working for you.

Master Shen.

My men are nothing...

...compared to your elite.

Moreover, you've warned me before...

...to stay clear of Ocean Sky Bracelet.

Why should I help you?

I seldom ask for a favour.

I won't retract my words.

You may be famous and powerful,...

...yet your men are no match...

...for my troops.

You won't retract your words?

What can you do to me?

You may have a big armed troop.

However, killing anyone I want among your soldiers...

...is a walk in the park to me.

You don't believe in me?

You can wait for me...

...with your troops.

I'm not an ungrateful person.

When I have gotten Ocean Sky Bracelet,...

...I'll give my all...

...to fulfil your wish.

I think I alone can search for the way...

...into the valley for Ocean Sky Bracelet.

This is essential to the future of Disha.

I must be a part of this.

According to the poem, the way into...

...Great Apothecary Valley is most likely here.

There seems to be a mistake with the poem.

What?

No wonder I can't find it.

Luckily, we can still guess it by observing the environment here.

How long do we need? -About two hours.

The sooner, the better.

Have some food, A'Sheng.

What are you thinking?

A'Fei is going to search for Ocean Sky Bracelet.

However, Disha has the objects.

She may be an expert,...

...but her life will be endangered if she goes against Shen Tianshu.

Did you just say...

...that A'Fei was searching for Ocean Sky Bracelet?

I know where it is.

It's at Great Apothecary Valley.

How did you know?

I heard this from Lianshen and Shen Tianshu. It's true.

Brother Li, our agents have just informed us...

...that Disha has sent some men northward.

We're not sure about their motive.

Tell Sister Zhou and Mr. Xie to go to Elder Hall.

Tell them I need to see them. -Yes.

Ask Yang Jin to come along, too. -Sure.

Let's go.

Is Ocean Sky Bracelet really at Great Apothecary Valley?

It's true. Shen Tianshu and Lianshen said so.

Great Apothecary Valley was set up by Lu Run's disciple.

Lu Run wrote Apothecary King Record.

It's likely that it's there.

Lu Run was Huang Shenbian and Huang Piaoqi's grand master.

Hiding Ocean Sky Bracelet in the isolated and peaceful place...

...does make sense.

Besides, Lianshen and Shen Tianshu had gotten all the objects then.

There wasn't a need to cheat Li Yan.

Legend has it that the place is well-hidden and full of traps.

I think Liu Youliang's poem contains the clues...

...to get into Great Apothecary Valley.

Any news of Disha? -There's a message from our agent.

Disha has moved northward.

They're mostly likely heading to Great Apothecary Valley.

We should go there, too. -Sure.

Why the hurry?

We haven't solved the clues in the poem. What if.....

We shouldn't be too taken in...

...by the words of the poem.

It's better for us to check it out.

Yes. -However.....

I think A'Fei is right.

It's better to attack than to wait.

Since you all have decided, I'll just go along.

I'm good with traps. I can be of help.

I was thinking of asking you to just stay back...

...and take care of the matters here.

Since Ocean Sky Bracelet is our priority,...

...we should go all out for it.

It'll be a dangerous journey this time.

Many hands make light work.

Li Sheng is right. You two are not enough to get this done.

We may not be as good as you,...

...but we aren't totally useless.

Yang Jin, this matter...

...has nothing to do with you and you shouldn't be implicated.

If anything bad happens to all of us,...

...who will take care of my sister?

As her brother,...

...I'm entrusting you with this responsibility.

You.....

What do you think you're doing? I can decide my own matters.

Do I need him to take care of me?

This isn't the time to talk about this.

I'm not a coward.

What about your Small Apothecary Valley?

Our valley's role is to punish all the crooks.

If I'm lucky enough to find some rare books there,...

...my elders will surely be glad.

They will even trade me for that.

Does Small Apothecary Valley have a rule in punishing the crooks?

I know nothing can stop you.

Is it all right to leave two girls behind at 48 Stronghold?

What if..... -Stop talking, brother.

Sister Chuchu and I have decided to go.

You're wiser than A'Yan? Why do you agree with her?

It's safe here, A'Yan.

Stay out of it. -What are you talking about?

Our enemies knew the poem because of me. So I must go, too.

Li Yan. -I'm not a kid anymore.

I can also do what you guys can do.

It's even more dangerous this time.

So, I have all the more reason to go.

Aunt has always been good to me. I must do something for her.

I will go no matter what.

I know you're protective of your sister, A'Sheng,...

...but can you do this forever?

So you should respect her decision.

Why don't you think twice?

I made up my mind...

...when my parents were murdered.

I won't leave myself out of this.

So long as I'm alive,...

...I will face this together with you all.

Talk to her, Zhou Fei.

I wasn't as good as I'm now when I left home for the first time.

It was a dangerous journey.

I met countless seniors.

No one asked me to back off.

Instead, they had confidence in me.

Since everyone wants to go,...

...so be it.

Let's put an end to this.

We'll face the challenge together, all right?

Brother. -Fine.

There are too many unsolved conflicts.

Let's settle them once and for all.

Yes! -Yes!

"Elder Hall"

"48 Stronghold"

A'Fei.

We're ready. Let's go.

This journey will be extremely dangerous...

..and full of uncertainty.

If anything bad happens,...

...you still have me. We'll take on the challenges together.

I don't care what evils are lying ahead. I'll destroy them all.

When Water Grass is silent,...

...she's pleasant-looking and pleasing to the eyes.

When she speaks, her words are amazing and powerful.

It really gives us peace of mind.

Everyone has been saying...

...that Disha is an undefeatable nightmare.

I believe that no matter how long the nightmare is,...

...we'll wake up from it eventually.

We will.
