Legend of Fei

Episode 45

Isn't that our best chance when they fight among themselves?

Yes. Yu Wenzhi sent Lianshen to seize the objects.

Then, he sent Shen Tianshu for the rescue.

Lianshen and Shen Tianshu would be suspicious of each other,...

...with Yu Wenzhi standing in between them.

I can make him show up even if he won't be here soon.

I'll make it more complicated for them.

You mean.....

It..... -It's Yu Wenzhi's agent token.

Since Lianshen is colluding with Yu Wenzhi,...

...I'll use Yu Wenzhi's title to drive a wedge...

...between Lianshen and Shen Tianshu.

Then Lianshen would never dare to give Shen Tianshu the objects.

The objects are with Lianshen.

Which side will she get on when the time comes?

Isn't Disha scheming and good at manipulating people?

An eye for an eye.

Let's give Shen Tianshu a taste of his own medicine.

Master.

The bridge over the nearby river was destroyed. No boat is around.

How are we going to across the river?

It was clearly sabotage.

You're right.

Your want to liaise with Shen Tianshu?

You'll have to get past me.

Madam Nichang.

Why did you appear out of nowhere?

Can't you mind your own business?

I was entrusted by someone...

...to intercept you here.

You're just a bunch of women. Do you think...

...you can stop me?

Gu Tianxian.

Long time no see.

We, Peddlers Gang, are here. Do you think you can run away?

Get in. Hurry.

Hurry.

The town is under the watchful eyes of Disha.

Just follow me and act carefully.

A'Fei arrived here yesterday. Any news of her?

A beggar told me he saw a man and a woman arriving in town.

The woman carried a long saber.

They must be Mr. Xie and Ms. Zhou.

Please inform them to meet us, Mr. Bai.

A'Fei was hurt in a fight with Lianshen. I wonder how she is.

I'll go right away.

Madam Nichang. -Master Xu.

Did Ms. Chuchu asked you to come? -No, it was Ms. Zhou.

I was entrusted by her to teach them a lesson.

Luckily, Madam Nichang was here. Disha did have reinforcement.

Ms. Lianshen was finally back, yet she's mad at Master Shen.

Shen Tianshu has met with Lianshen.

Fat chance we're going to defeat them.

How dare you talk about Ms. Lianshen behind her back.

Let's go!

Welcome.

Five blessings upon you.

Which bat are you?

Ms. Zhou.

I'm from Peddlers Gang. Mr. Li is awaiting you two at the dock.

You should go at once.

Thanks.

Are you hungry?

Here.

Have some plum cake to calm yourself down. Try to recall it.

There's a better way.

Give her a Three Corpse Pill and let her suffer a bit.

Then she'll be able to recall everything.

You're scaring her.

Give her a break.

Let's play a game.

Are you a carpenter? Are you the breadwinner?

Your hands matter, right?

This game is called Chopping the Fingers.

Let me show you.

I'll count to three.

If you fail to recall,...

...we'll chop off one of his fingers.

Then we'll repeat this as long as you don't recall anything.

Let's see how many fingers are left by the end of today.

Let's begin.

One.

No.

Two.

Three.

No! I'll recite it.

I'll write it.

Let me remind you.

I had been searching for Ocean Sky before you were born.

There's no way you can lie to me.

Li Sheng.

We finally found you guys.

I hope you're fine. -I'm all right.

Lianshen and Shen Tianshu met up. -Yes.

A'Fei and I have surveyed the town. Now we know Disha's setup.

There were many of them. So we held off an attack.

In fact, the current situation is beneficial to us.

I've thought of a way to drive a wedge between them.

Shen Tianshu is distrustful. He hates liars.

Lianshen may be his trusted aide...

...but she's in a relationship with Yu Wenzhi.

Hasn't she noticed Shen Tianshu is already suspicious of her?

Lianshen has gotten the objects.

She won't give them up easily. They're her bargaining chips.

Most probably they're still with her.

We can drive a wedge between them through this way.

Avoid a direct confrontation with Shen Tianshu.

Why should we fear them and not have a fight with them?

You guys think too much.

Lianshen is cunning. We can't let her have her own way.

You must be careful.

You may easily be cheated. I'm afraid you might hold us back.

I fought with her before. I know her every move.

Fine.

Let's split up.

Launch the whistling arrow if you encounter a situation...

...to alert the others.

You mustn't put yourselves in danger.

We'll be expecting Disha's two most notorious people.

Withdraw if the situation is unfavourable to you.

We can regroup and fight another day.

You're long-winded, Granny Li.

Wait.

You gave me a scare.

My men have made arrangement in this town.

Let me know if you need anything.

Sure. I appreciate it.

What did you tell Li Sheng?

I only gave him a trump card.

Shen Tianshu may not have brought many men this time.

We may confuse him.

We can scare him using Anping Army.

Let's go.

Don't worry. I can certainly lure them out.

Yang Jin.

You have to be convincing.

Don't fall for Lianshen's trick. -Got it.

Lead your men to intercept Disha's men.

Very good.

You wrote everything.

Why are you crying?

Can you let us go?

You want some plum cake to calm yourself down?

All right, you've come up with the poem.

It's time for you to die.

Not yet.

She tricked me at Cloud Ravine.

I must get rid of her today. -No hurry.

Recite the entire poem when you're done crying.

Then I'll consider whether to let you go.

Just let Uncle Li go first.

Fine.

I'm not building a house. What's the need for a carpenter?

What's wrong with you?

Why are you manipulated by her?

Tianying.

If she simply wrote a poem,...

...she won't be able to recite the same thing.

I'll make her recite it now.

If it doesn't match,...

...we can just kill the carpenter.

You can also let her try your Three Corpse Pill.

Let's begin.

This figure is modelled after you, right?

It resembles you.

I'll recite it!

"I remember you went to Wuzhou. Mountains appear amid the dusk.

Look towards Jiangbei." Is it Jiangnan?

Look towards Jiangbei on the mountain.

Gather stones and send Zizhi.

The valley is full of wonder.

The morning birds sang crisply.

The mountain rocks are all around.

All four songs are played together."

All is right.

Good.

Uncle Li.

Just go, Uncle Li.

You think he can just go? -You.....

Tianying, let it be.

Are we going to break our promise to a little girl?

Why did you let him go? Won't he expose us?

The men of 48 Stronghold are still in pursuit of me.

They may already be in the town.

It's time to leave.

Where are the five objects?

Objects?

I nearly died for those.

Do you know how I risked my life?

I was nearly killed by Zhou Fei.

Tianying.

The poem contains the map to Ocean Sky Bracelet's location.

Now we have everything. Give me the objects.

We'll go to Great Apothecary Valley...

...to get Apothecary King Record for your treatment.

Great Apothecary Valley?

Kill her first.

You can't do it?

Tianying.

Why are you so adamant to kill her?

Fine. I'll leave.

Tianying, you.....

You still care for me?

Why are you doing this?

"The flowers get better next year.

Who will travel with me in spring?"

Am I no longer attractive as before?

Nonsense. I was patient to deal with them...

...so that I could locate Ocean Sky.

Why are you giving me a hard time because of the objects?

Since it's for me, is there any difference if I'm holding them?

You still don't trust me?

I don't know what to say.

The streets are under Disha's watchful eyes. Let's be alert.

Mu aunt will avenge me if you kill me!

Your aunt is poisoned. Who knows if she still lives?

You're lying! That's impossible!

Why is A'Yan here?

So the girl whom Disha mentioned earlier on...

...was A'Yan.

I asked her to buy osmanthus wine for you.

Who knows.....

I'm to blame for this.

She wouldn't have been caught if she didn't leave home.

How about I become Shen Tianshu's hostage in Li Yan's place?

No. -Listen to me.

I'll save her by taking her place.

Then we can use Gu Tianxian to make a deal with Shen Tianshu.

We'll hold them up and let Li Sheng...

...to lure Lianshen more easily.

However..... -Don't worry, A'Fei.

Shen Tianshu was indebted to my father. So I'll be fine.

I want to ask him about the past, too.

This is enough to disturb him.

I'll send Li Yan home once she's rescued.

Then I'll await your news. Do take care.

I'll be there for you if you're in danger.

I fear nothing by having an expert like you with me.

Make sure you're safe. Otherwise,...

...I'll feed you to tortoise even if you're dead or alive.

A slight moment decides the fate of an expert in a duel.

You must come and save me.

How could you do this?

You promised to let me go if I gave you what you wanted?

How could you break your promise? -You talked too much.

I should just sew your mouth.

Hurry up if you want to do it. We have important things to do.

Shen Tianshu.

You're a leader of Disha. How could you bully a kid like me?

Blame yourself for being foolish.

Long time no see, Master Shen.

Cousin-in-law!

All of you are bullying a little girl.

What brings you here, little emperor?

I heard my family member offended you. I apologise to you.

I hope you can just let her go.

Why should I do that?

Don't get the wrong idea, Master.

I'm here to make a deal.

Let's do an exchange.

I'll take her place. You're not losing anything.

Since you delivered yourself, I can just keep you two.

You're right.

However, you might land yourself in trouble.

What do you mean?

Without Li Jinrong, 48 Stronghold...

...can't threaten me at all.

If Gu Tianxian and his men arrive in Hanshui Town,...

...we're certainly not a threat to you.

However..... -Urgent message!

Master Gu and his men were intercepted on their way here.

Master Gu is with my friends.

A'Yan is just a nobody.

Let her go and you shall have Master Gu back.

Don't you think this is a good deal?

Why should I trust you?

Disha's sentinels are all over Central Plain.

You'll get the news very soon.

If you don't receive the news by midnight,...

...I'm willing to die.

Fine. You'll stay.

She'll go.

Xie Yun.

Sorry for causing you inconvenience.

Just go. Don't turn around.

Shen, you..... -Calm down, Tianying.

He's my old acquaintance.

I shall have a talk with him. I'll explain to you later.

Inform Master Xu to release Gu Tianxian.

Are we going to release him?

We have to keep our promise.

Don't make Master Xie look bad. -All right.

Li Yan!

Come over. -A'Fei.

I'll take you to meet the guys. -I'm fine. You should just go.

I'll look for them.

You're a lousy martial artist. Can you do it?

Hurry.

Yang Jin.

I'll leave her to your care. I'm going to save Xie Yun.

Don't fool around. -Zhou Fei!

I thought I would never see you again!

I'm glad that you're back. -Did I...

...land Brother Xie in trouble?

It's all right. Zhou Fei will save him.

She's dealing with Shen Tianshu.

Will she be at risk?

She's comparable to Shen Tianshu in terms of ferocity.

What are you talking about?

They'll send you home if anything happens here.

This is your brother's order. It's dangerous for you to be here.

So be it. I'll be good.

Take care, too.

Commander sent a man here, Ms. Lianshen. He's in town.

Master Shen will welcome him.

Why did you turn to me?

The man said you would know when you saw him.

What else? -He'll meet you at a pavilion...

...outside the town.

He said that he wouldn't keep his promise...

...if you didn't go.

It's exactly what I've expected.

Does anyone else know this? -He specially looked for you.

I dare not tell others about this.

Well done.

You deserve a reward.

Ms. Lianshen.

He offended me. So I killed him. What do you want?

Nothing.

I'm going out. It won't be long.

Keep that to yourself. -Yes.

What if Master Shen asks me about this?

If he asks...

...and I'm not back at all, you can just tell him this.

"The flowers get better next year.

Who will travel with me in spring?"

Remember, you may only tell him when he gets anxious.

Sure, don't worry.

Handle the body. -Sure.

"Shen Tianshu, one day,...

...you'll know I'm the only one who's true to you in this world."

The tea is tasteless.

I didn't expect you to accept it.

Looks like you're having a hard time out here.

You are still in the mood to enjoy the tea.

Why are you so sure...

...that I won't kill you?

Since my father saved your life,...

...you'll spare my life for the time being, right?

I'm not an ungrateful person.

Fine.

You may live for the time being.

You still remember the past.

Have you forgotten it?

My entire family was killed back then.

Your father recruited me for Anping Army.

I heard about that.

Everyone likes the story...

...of The Wolf of Zhongshan.

Did Wang Lin describe me as the wolf?

Let me tell you. The wolf was Zhou Yitang!

He was Wang Lin's most favourable disciple.

He stole the commander's seal to protect the woman he loved.

Later, he disarmed himself of martial art and left the army.

He even mentioned that he was doing this to repay his master.

He was never to be seen thereafter!

What I did incomparable...

...to his actions at all.

Why did you leave Anping Army?

Didn't Wang Lin tell you this?

I've been practising martial arts and seldom leave home.

Now I realise that...

...young people like you...

...are indeed getting more interesting.

Thanks for your compliment.

Zhou Yitang.

My men has laid siege for three months.

We spent 10 days and many have died!

Then only we seized the city.

As the disciple of Wang Lin, you give orders from a tent.

I set the rules on the battlefields.

Those are only your own rules!

Only a savage will massacre those who surrender!

We captured this city by risking our lives.

No killing and plundering. You forbid us from having fun.

Why should they follow you?

We're the ones who are fighting for Wang Lin!

If we have to adhere to such rules,...

...I would rather leave!

Whoever that wants to leave, follow me!

Let's go! -Hold on!

Are you leaving just like this?

Fine.

I'll leave something for you...

...so that you can answer to Wang Lin.

Brother!

No wonder you wanted to kill Zhou Yitang in several occasions.

He didn't deserve to lead Anping Army.

So you think...

...that the weak should just be killed?

Do you remember that when my father saved you,...

...you were one of the weak, too?

General Wang Lin once told me...

...the principle of Anping Army was to...

...protect the people from being bullied.

Mr. Zhou has never defied this principle.

This was the reason General Wang Lin entrusted me...

...to pass Anping Token to Mr. Zhou.

Now it looks like I had made the right choice back then.

Since then, your clan had run out of luck.

Anping Army had scattered.

Wait until I find Ocean Sky Bracelet.

Then I'll build an even stronger army.

Zhou Yitang will then feel ashamed of himself.

"Carpentry Workshop"

Mr. Gu Tianxian and his men...

...were ambushed by Peddlers Gang and Yuyi Troupe.

Fine.

Master Shen.

Do you believe in me now?

You're right.

When it's midnight,...

...let's see,...

...who's going to take your place?

The commander is busy. Please wait.

You sent someone for me. How can I help you?

It's you.

Seize her. Our master was poisoned by her!

I didn't expect this at all.

I didn't expect I would walk into your trap.

Let's kill her to avenge our master!

Watch out, it's poisonous!

Don't let her run away! After her!

Yes! -Go!

Your Majesty.

My patience has run out.

Looks like your reinforcement won't be here after all.

You can't kill me, Master Shen.

You're still confident.

It's because he's here.

We have a message!

Ms. Lianshen.....

Speak.

She secretly met Yu Wenzhi.

Are the objects with her?

Bring her back! -Yes.

Why are you anxious? Yu Wenzhi has already gotten the objects.

Can you still make it?

You asked Yu Wenzhi to do so.

You're still bad-tempered even at this age.

Too bad you're suffering double whammy this time.

I didn't expect your aide to collude with Yu Wenzhi.

She has plotted this.

Now...

...I'm afraid she's already on her way back.

So this is your reinforcement.

It's too late for you.

You're so weak.

I can just kill you in seconds.

You're wrong! I'm his reinforcement!

A'Fei.

Why don't you estimate...

...the time you'll take to kill me?

I didn't expect to walk into your trap, kids.

Yes. Let him go.

Master Shen.

Two dogs fight for a bone and a third runs away with it.

What you're doing will only be beneficial to Yu Wenzhi.

Are you all right? -Yes.

The street is deserted.

Why is Anping Army here?

When Ms. Lianshen left, she wanted me to say something to you.

"The flowers get better next year. Who'll travel with me in spring?"

Order our men to stop Anping Army.

Yes. -You two, come with me.

Li Sheng!

Lianshen has escaped from us.

A'Fei will be in danger if she bumps into Shen Tianshu.

They're in front!

Yang Jin, I'll leave this to you! I'll find A'Fei!

Don't worry!

"Shen.

One day, you'll know...

...I'm the only one who's true to you in this world."

The commander sent a man here. The commander is in town.

We have a message!

I couldn't find Ms. Lianshen. She may have been trapped.

No mercy to anyone who's against Disha.

Kill them all. -Yes.

Where are the objects?

You'd better run now.

Shen Tianshu will be here soon for me.

You have nowhere to run by then.

A'Fei.

Are you all right? -Yes.

Shen Tianshu left us when he got the news of Lianshen.

Strange.

The men of Disha said Shen Tianshu left the town.

He left so soon.

Impossible.

The objects are still with you.

Impossible.

I gave him the objects.

He won't desert me.

Ocean Sky Bracelet leads to Apothecary King Record.

He's looking for the record to treat me.

He won't abandon me.

Apothecary King Record?

Great Apothecary Valley?

Yes, Apothecary King Record.

It's the remedy for Drown Sorrow, as well as Piercing Green.

It's the remedy for all poisons in the world.

Shen Tianshu and I would have met up if not for you all.

You've always been cunning and treacherous.

However, you believed what he said.

Brother Li and Sister Zhou.

Master Gantang is back at 48 Stronghold safely.

My father has returned?
