Legend of Fei

Episode 34

Please enjoy. -Make a pot of tea.

Coming.

Excuse me. -Yes.

Did you see a youth carrying double swords on his back?

No.

Think again. He took this way.

He should've passed by. -No, it's true.

Why don't you go somewhere else?

What's the matter, lady?

Are you looking for your husband?

Don't be frightened.

Why would your husband let you travel alone?

It's all right. I'll look after you when he doesn't.

Get lost.

Thank you, elder.

I met the man that you're looking for.

Wait, elder.

Master, here are the tongues of those...

...who insulted Ms. Wu.

Feed these to the dogs. -Noted.

Where is she now?

She seems to have followed a strange man to a forest.

Don't worry. We have someone keeping an eye on her.

She'll be fine. -Are you sure?

Where is the forest? I'll go. -Yes.

Also, get me usual clothes.

I don't want her to recognise me. -Noted.

Elder, where are we going?

The man you're looking for is this tall.

He carried double swords on his back and he was anxious...

...as if he's looking for someone. -Yes, that's him.

I saw him entering the forest.

Thanks. I'll look for him.

Wait. There's something unusual with the forest.

The locals call it a forest that devours.

Ancient trees on the mountain have turned into demons.

They confuse one's mind and consume the spirit.

So those who enter can never come out.

They can never come out?

It seems mysterious yet logical.

It's in line with Bagua formation.

I heard mansions of geomancers using Qimen Dunjia formation...

...to prevent intrusion. I suppose this forest is one.

You're a fragile woman.

How do you know Qimen Dunjia?

Do you know how to navigate the forest?

No. I only saw it once.

Why did you come then?

I thought he had taught you the way.

You've wasted my time and effort.

Elder!

"Forbidden Forest"

Beautiful girl, you ate my food. So you owe me a favour.

Tell me honestly.

Do you possess Shendu Seal?

No. -You're lying.

During Extermination Meeting,...

...Chu Tianyu took the seal away from me.

You killed that hound.

Where else could the seal be if it's not with you?

It belongs to the Huo family. Why should it be returned to you?

Don't force me to hit you, girl.

I thought you're a sensible man...

...who distinguishes love and hate.

You turn out to be just the same as those of Four Gods Mountain.

You go all out for the so-called bracelet.

Don't associate me with them.

I want to retrieve it only because it belongs to the Huo family.

It has nothing to do with Shuibo Mark.

I don't believe it. -Whatever.

I heard the bracelet contains a supreme skill.

Don't you want to obtain it?

I'm contented with my Bajie Palm.

What else is worth my attention?

Although I'm new in the world of martial arts,...

...I've heard this from an elder.

You have...

...one of the best attributes.

However, you're too aggressive when you're young.

It's known as Bajie Palm,...

...but you took the path that's harmful to you and others.

You're invincible at your peak,...

...but after that,...

...you went downhill.

I didn't believe it, but now...

...it seems real.

I tested you just now. Your movement was sluggish,...

...especially when I snatched your dried meat.

It's even more evident.

There isn't enough Qi at your Tanzhong.

You lack determination in Bajie Palm.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have easily avoided it...

...when the head of the Four Gods moved.

Don't you call Zheng Luosheng...

...the head of the Four Gods?

He's nothing.

Pretty girl, are you playing up to me...

...or threatening me?

I know my skills well.

I'm not after the bracelet.

I want to retrieve Shendu Seal...

...only because it belongs to the Huo family.

I won't allow it to fall into the wrong hands.

It'll stop snowing soon.

Master Vermillion, we still need to fight...

...after getting out of here.

Pretty girl, you're so carefree.

Do you trust me so much?

Aren't you worried I might kill you when you're asleep?

You won't kill beautiful people.

You know me, indeed.

"Fire Lotus means so much to her.

They won't leave.

They should be nearby."

This isn't right.

I've come here for three times.

"The formation of this forest is harder than the one at Huo Fort.

What should I do? How did A'Sheng walk through it?

Are you all right, lady?

Who are you?

I'm just a woodcutter.

Why would you appear in this Qimen Dunjia Forest?

I don't know Qimen Dunjia. I only know how to cut wood.

Do you know how to walk through this forest?

My friend is in here.

There's a cave in this forest. Outsiders have no idea at all.

There was a silly young man carrying double swords.

I guess he is the one whom you're looking for.

Yes.

The cave belonged to an eliminated...

...sect.

It's right ahead. Walk there by yourself.

Thanks for the information.

A'Sheng!

A'Sheng.

By the way, Chuchu, how did you get here?

I asked all the way here. I heard you took this way.

So I came.

I just wanted to check if Master Chongxiaozi is fine.

We had a deal to leave together...

...and share our burden.

However, you sneaked out alone.

It's my bad. I won't do it anymore.

Wu Chuchu, you'll regret it.

"Forbidden Forest"

Are you from Qimen?

How do you know the way in and out?

I'm a woodcutter.

I enter the forest every day. So I know how.

Did you see anyone carrying double swords?

Do you know him? -I don't just know him.

He doesn't join Qimen, yet he learns skills of Qimen.

I must kill him.

Why is it empty?

It's the old base of Qimen.

Master Chongxiaozi. I'm worried.

Feng Wuyan?

Hand it to me.

What is it?

Stop pretending.

I saw the fly-whisk at the inn.

Let her go! -Give me that fly-whisk.

No.

Pick it up by yourself. Go.

The token of the chief.

From now on,...

...I'm the chief of Qimen.

I'm the chief of Qimen!

Do you want to kill me?

Can I live without killing you?

Listen! Chongxiaozi is dead!

He was killed by that kid who handed the fly-whisk to you.

The thoughts of a deceased doesn't matter anymore.

You shouldn't kill me. -What do you mean?

If Master Chongxiaozi is dead for real,...

...I'm the only one who knows Bagua and Dunjia formations.

Fine.

Teach me Qimen Dunjia, Yin and Yang and Bagua...

...taught by Chongxiaozi.

Then, I will spare your life.

I'll do it by myself.

If I cut my head, Qimen's skills will be lost.

How should I explain to your ancestors...

...in the afterworld?

It's your fault!

You're useless!

You're useless!

What's wrong with you? Stop.

When I was young,...

...I despised Qimen Dunjia.

Now it has no successor.

I have no choice, but to be manipulated by a junior.

I even had to follow an outsider to enter my own base.

How can I be the chief?

I've let the ancestors down.

I'm the son of Qimen's chief.

I refused to learn the skills.

Therefore,...

...my father preferred Chongxiaozi.

I even left home out of rage.

I've done this before, too.

Did you really leave?

If I didn't,...

...my father wouldn't have simply appointed...

...Chongxiaozi as the next chief.

So everything was caused...

...by me when I was young and impulsive.

It's my fault.

I'd left for 20 years.

When I came back,...

...Qimen is already in this state.

Do you regret it over the years?

Tell me. Why I should regret it?

My father looked down on me, but Qimen has been eliminated.

The former chief was killed by others.

Why? Incompetence.

Now am I not needed...

...to clean up the mess?

Tell me why I should regret it.

Why?

Pretty girl, everyone in the martial arts world is fighting...

...for that seal.

You're unaffected...

...and gave it to others for nothing.

I never want any token.

The bracelet has nothing to do with me either.

It doesn't matter who obtains it so long as the person is not evil.

Good. Since you don't covet it,...

...I'll play along with you.

Return the seal to me after that.

I'll pluck that Fire Lotus for you.

Sure. It's a deal.

It's a deal.

Girl, hand me the seal...

...or I'll kill you. -Do you want the seal?

Take it by yourself.

You.....

Zhou Fei!

These are just some foundation skills.

It's a mantra of Qimen formation.

Not these annoying mantra again.

Everyone has his own strength.

Back then, I had no talent in wielding a saber.

I even thought I wasn't smart enough.

Unexpectedly,...

...after joining Qimen, I learnt fast.

I could even apply it on other subjects.

You aren't good in this,...

...but you're obsessed with martial arts.

You've made an achievement.

You can leave this aside.

I must learn it.

Isn't it funny if the chief of Qimen...

...doesn't know the relevant skills?

"Taiji is related to Zhen.

Three positions of Zhen...

...to form a circle.

The main position remains static.

Taiji is related to the origin of Zhen.

Three positions of Zhen.

Six changes."

Shuibo Mark. Why is it here?

Is there any problem with it?

Elder, did Master Chongxiaozi mention Ocean Sky Bracelet...

...to you?

Ocean?

He stayed in this mountain all day long.

He wouldn't see an ocean.

It's fine. I'm just asking.

Master, there seems to be a cave.

Who can walk through maze-like forest and get here?

It's my fault. Why did I make those marks.

This will land A'Sheng in trouble.

What are you doing? Why are you here?

Master, there're marks on these trees.

They seem to be directions.

It seems that someone has taken this way.

Elder!

It seems that your wish is not granted.

The girl is back.

I've found you at last.

Are you one of the seven fools of Disha?

I'm Giant Panther, Gu Tianxian.

You came unannounced to Feng Wuyan's territory.

Get to the point!

You're the Black Judge.

You're wrong.

I'm now the chief of Qimen, Feng Wuyan.

"Could that be the fly-whisk mentioned by Master Shen?"

Fine, Master Feng.

We don't know each other. We don't bear a grudge against each other.

Why should we fight? I don't want to stir up trouble.

So long as you hand over that fly-whisk to me,...

...I'll leave with my men and leave you alone.

Do you want to seize my position? -"Shuibo Mark.

The fly-whisk is another token of Shuibo Mark."

I'm bored with tricks like yours.

Wait.

It seems that...

...you insist on fighting with me.

With the way you hold the brush,...

...you seem not related to Qimen at all.

Others might think you found the fly-whisk somewhere...

...and claimed to be the chief.

Fine. I'll show you...

...the skills of Qimen.

Elder, Qimen has the most unrestricted moves.

It's not limited to any weapon. Don't fall for his trick.

It makes sense.

Too late.

The fly-whisk has a poison!

How dare you lie to me, girl!

Chuchu!

Chuchu!

Leave me! Go after them!

Noted. -Go!

Chuchu!

Chuchu, hang in there.

Chuchu!

Be careful. How are you feeling?

I'm wearing Muyun Muslin. I won't die.

You don't need to risk your life.

I'll bring you to Madam Ni Chang.

She has treated A'Fei's internal injury.

You'll be fine.

"Lingling Inn"

"I recall you in Wuzhou.

"Hike and see twigs of catalpa.

Gather stones and send them to Jiangbei.

Hike to pluck twigs of catalpa."

I must memorise the secret that the old man...

...protected with his life.

Are you Ms. Li Yan? -Who are you?

I'm the teacher mentioned by those children at the temple.

I heard you're staying here.

So I came to thank you.

So you're that teacher.

We've caused trouble to them out of recklessness.

Please have a seat. -After you.

Not bad.

The ladies from 48 Strongholds...

...are certainly courteous and thoughtful.

This explains why Anzhi risked his life to save you.

Anzhi? -It's Xie Yun's courtesy name.

I'm his master uncle. -Does he have a master uncle?

I thought he was really born from a rock.

Yes. He's...

...reluctant to reveal his background.

Since I heard him using Propelling Cloud Palm,...

...I knew he's about to suffer an attack of the poison.

Therefore, I rushed from Peng Lai.

I wanted to treat him back on the island,...

...but Monk Tongming,...

...who is Xie Yun's master, got a step ahead of me.

I had no choice, but to head back.

I bumped into a group of children refugees.

I was prompted to help them.

So I stepped in.

I thought of bringing them to the south,...

...but I bumped into you and Disha.

I'm glad that you're Brother Xie's master uncle.

Tell him that I've found clues to Ocean Sky Bracelet.

There was a poem on the map. -Forget it.

Tell him when you meet.

No. I have a bad memory.

I might fail the task.

Girl,...

...don't doubt yourself when you're able to escape...

...from the troop of Disha.

I'll head back to Peng Lai and tell him...

...after he regains consciousness.

He will come to you if he wants.

You're still waiting here.

You turn out to be so obedient.

Horse is the most honest animal. All animals are spiritual.

Horses are the most loyal.

So long as you treat it well,...

...it will stay with you through life and death.

Thank you, Master Vermillion.

Once I come back, I'll wait for you at Lingling Inn...

...and return the seal to you.

Still, I want to remind you...

...that since you're practising skills that will harm yourself,...

...you should use Bajie Palm that much.

Girl, are we close to each other?

Do you care whether or not my skills...

...will harm myself?

Pretty girl.

This is the last time I'm trusting someone.

You mustn't lie to me.

"Xie Meimei, I'm going back.

You'd better wait for me."

Boss, I want to know...

...if Ms. Zhou, the heir of Southern Saber, has been here.

Sir, I'm a businessman...

...who can't remember the titles of martial world practitioners.

She is a domineering and pretty lady...

...of moderate height. She's carrying a saber on her back.

Boss!

Boss! -Mr. Li, what happened to Ms. Wu?

I have no time to explain. You have connections.

Can you ask where Yuyi Troupe led by Madam Ni Chang has gone?

Madam Ni Chang intended to retire after the Extermination Meeting.

I think it's Qiaoyun in Hengyang. -Hengyang.

Yes. -Thank you.

Hurry. Prepare a carriage for me to hit the road.

Are you the cousin of Ms. Zhou Fei?

We can give you a lift if you're in a hurry.

Young Master Zhu, that's wonderful. Thank you.

You're welcome. Let's move.

Ms. Zhou saved us from Ding Kui...

...before Extermination Meeting.

We'll be at your service.

Two, three, three, three, four, left, right.

Left, right.

Stupid Qimen Dunjia.

Are you really from Qimen?

I would've left you behind if I knew...

...how to walk out.

Fine. I'll chop off all the trees...

...to find the way out.

How dare you!

You can't simply touch the property of Qimen.

Try me. I'll kill you.

Commander, my master never meets an outsider.

I come to bid her farewell.

Let him in. -Noted.

Tianying.

After all the years,...

...your flowers are more gorgeous.

Did you show up unannounced to appreciate the flowers?

I dare not touch the flowers of Master Shen.

Why are you here then?

An army is trained for years to be used in the nick of time.

After everyone learnt what happened to General Wu Fei,...

...Shuibo Mark tokens appeared one after another,...

...but Disha failed subsequently.

What is the point of supporting Disha...

...right now?

Do you want to discard Disha after using us?

When you're defeated by Xiao Chuan,...

...you begged me to poison Xiao Chuan.

He is still alive.

It's because he is lucky. I didn't fail my mission.

Yu Wenzhi, you're going back on your word.

Don't you know the consequences of offending Disha?

As the Commander,...

...you should think before you act.

Tianying, you killed Li Zheng, poisoned Xiao Chuan...

...and wiped out Great Apothecary Valley.

You're powerful then.

That's why I decided to find Ocean Sky Bracelet with Disha.

What about now?

Disha is defeated by a young girl.

I'm very disappointed.

We still have a chance...

...as long as the bracelet has not emerged.

No, unless you act personally.

Fine.

I forgot that you've long retired.

You keep flowers and fishes in this manor every day...

...and enjoy your life with Master Shen.

You have no time to meddle in my petty matter.

Sorry for disturbing you. I'll make a move first.

Wait!

What did they say?

I stood rather far. I could barely hear.

After it's done, you mustn't grab...

...anything desired by my lover in the treasure.

Let's talk after we find the treasure.

Based on the information sent by Tong Tianyang,...

...Master Chongxiaozi was among the guardians...

...of the bracelet.

If I predicted correctly,...

...the treasure could be hidden nearby Great Apothecary Valley.

Tianxian, inspect the area.

Report as soon as you have information.

Brother, I'll go all out...

...to find the bracelet.

Brother, drink more.

I have more.

Miss.

Are you Ms. Zhou Fei?

Do you know me?

Anzhi murmured your name...

...when he was unconscious.

Have you found it?

Good. This is awesome.

Miss!

Miss.

Ms. Zhou travelled far to save you.

She finally obtained this Fire Lotus...

...and almost lost her life.

You're so cold.

Don't worry, she has come back safely.

She is just exhausted.

Maybe God...

...is pitying you for your past.

Maybe you're not mean to die.

You'd even met Zhou Fei, a good lady.

Madam!

Watch out for yourself.

It's time for you to regain consciousness,...

...but too bad.

Too bad? What is it?

Don't worry, Miss.

Anzhi gets a lot better after the second dose.

Too bad you came at the wrong time.

He had a moment of consciousness after taking the tonic.

He wanted to wait for you, but he couldn't.

He resumed his treatment yesterday.

That's great.

I can seek the third herb for him.

Zhuming Fiery Tail Grass.

Take it easy.

Zhuming Fiery Tail Grass is rarely seen.

It's said to be growing in the hot Southern Xinjiang.

It's far from Peng Lai.

Southern Xinjiang?

Small Apothecary Valley? -That's right.

"Yang Jin is the chief of the valley.

He must have known something.

Even if he doesn't,...

...I can ask Ying Hecong."

Girl, no matter how fast you are,...

...you can't reach Southern Xinjiang within 15 days.

You may take a moment of rest.

Since you're ready to travel far,...

...focus on recuperating.

Look at you. You haven't slept for days.

You shouldn't exert yourself even though you have a good foundation.

Who is that?

Forget about other aspects,...

...this kid has a good eye.

Look. He has seduced a smart girl.

Have you read Four Books?

Which chapter in Five Classics do you like?

I read none.

My father taught me Thousand Character Classic.

Shall I recite it to you?

No way.

Don't think of marrying into my family...

...unless you study more.

You're weird.

You aren't my master and I don't live off you.

Why are you lecturing me?

Well,...

...to be honest,...

...there're actually four Immortals of Peng Lai.

Other than his late master uncle,...

...there's me,...

...this misleading teacher, Lin,...

...and that old fisherman who saved...

...and brought you here.

Do you hear him? I'm your master uncle.

Whose master uncle are you? You aren't my master uncle.

Fine. I'll let you have it.

You'll acknowledge me one day.

Where is my saber?

Absurd! You're disrespectful and rude.

How does 48 Strongholds raise the children?

Why are you so different from your cousin?

Did you meet my cousin, Li Yan? Did she get into trouble?

Nonsense. That smart and obedient girl...

...would not cause trouble.

Smart and obedient?

Are you sure you're referring to Li Yan...

...of 48 Strongholds?

You have yet to recover. You shouldn't practise.

Your internal energy is chaotic. You can't practise for now.

Tianying.

Do you think what I'm doing...

...will be in vain?

Do you still remember our first meeting?
