Legend of Fei

Episode 32

Master, is there a place without suffering in the world?

Those people have great luck.

With parents and elders who have worked hard,...

...they're born free of it.

The good luck are accumulated in their previous lives.

You and I have no such luck.

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Your Highness, where are you?

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Please don't be ridiculous, Your Highness.

What will happen to the Xiao empire if you become a monk?

Your father and forefathers are watching you from heaven.

Come out, Your Highness!

Come out, Your Highness!

He's finally stopped calling out to me. It's all quiet now.

I still won in the end.

Eunuch Wang, I brought you some wild fruits.

Eunuch Wang?

I barely survived and failed what the late Emperor entrusted me.

It's unforgivable.

If you have pity on me, don't build a grave for me.

I would be ashamed.

I hope to be cremated and have my ashes scattered in East Sea.

That way, I can go all the way to the north...

...and float back home.

Eunuch Wang, I was wrong! I won't hide from you anymore!

Come out, please.

Don't scare me. Come here, all right?

Master, save him!

Amitabha.

All living creatures suffer. May you be free of it.

Since then, he has completely changed.

He studied both literature and martial arts meticulously.

We thought he wouldn't return after he left Peng Lai.

Who knew we'd meet him shortly after that.

At that time, he was already poisoned with Piercing Green.

If I knew this, I'd have let you become a monk.

Master, don't be sad.

I feel more relaxed instead.

I'm going to lock Piercing Green in your body with internal power.

That will keep you safe,...

...but you must promise me to never use martial arts.

"Immortal of Peng Lai Master's Uncle"

No wonder he said his existence was a sin.

Could he even control what happened?

Miss, I indeed need your help in some matters,...

...but you've gone through too much recently.

So you're feeling agitated now.

Have some rest...

...since it's not urgent for now.

There's no news of him after the incident at Mount Heng.

It sounds like Yin Pei wasn't that skilful then.

When I last saw him, he was indeed in bad shape.

I don't know why...

...he looks strange this time.

In martial arts,...

...some practise really hard for years...

...to polish up their skills.

Some take shortcuts,...

...but there's a huge price to pay no matter what.

To be the greatest, one must take risks.

He seems to have risen overnight, but we don't know...

...how much he has to sacrifice.

On the other hand, making effort to practise martial arts...

...is the safest bet.

However.....

What is it?

I can feel that you've suffered a lot from what you said.

It's getting windy outside. -Go and rest since it's late.

Is it that late?

All right then. Rest early.

Aren't you going? -I want to stay for a while.

All right, I'll go to bed then.

Why are you reading those useless texts?

It's you. -Where's Zhou Fei?

What are you doing here?

You're nice to me...

...in Mount Heng's secret tunnel.

So, I've always wanted to repay you.

Are you afraid of me?

I find you different from before.

Yes, I was Azure Dragon Lord's lapdog then.

For revenge, I used all sorts of dirty tricks.

I'm sorry that you had to see that.

It's in the past. I'm now the new master of Four Gods Mountain.

This is Master Chongxiaozi's fly-whisk. Why is it with you?

Master Chongxiaozi once mentioned...

...that he had taught a smart person...

...who could learn formations really quickly,...

...but he couldn't be Qimen's successor...

...as he's the heir of the Li family at 48 Strongholds.

I never expected...

...the person he had been complimenting about was you.

Yes, that's me. Give me back that fly-whisk!

Let go of him!

Let him go.

You're not skilful. You must be studying formation...

...instead of practising martial arts like Master Chongxiaozi.

He couldn't even protect himself.

Young Master Yin,...

...calm down and let him go.

Chuchu, don't worry about me.

All right, I'll do as you say.

Master Chongxiaozi asked me to give him this fly-whisk.

It's now with its rightful owner.

I don't want things...

...that are not mine.

A'Sheng.

A'Sheng, is your neck all right?

Master.

Master, is there really no way to save him?

Piercing Green is the coldest poison in the world.

Since he was poisoned,...

...a few of us have been finding a solution...

...to no avail.

There's a source for a poison.

Lianshen, who poisoned him, has disappeared. I'll find her master.

If her master is dead, I'll head to her sect.

She didn't just create the poison out of thin air!

You're right. Piercing Green indeed has a source.

It's a pretty big deal, too. I've checked some records.

This poison is listed as the most toxic...

...in Medicine King Record of Great Apothecary Valley.

If we can find Medicine King Record,...

...we may be able to find the prescription for its antidote.

Who has Medicine King Record? Where can I go to find it?

It's a pity that Medicine King Record...

...no longer exists in the world.

What?

What are you doing?

Sir, have you seen a girl...

...about this tall?

She carries a saber on her back and looks pretty,...

...but she looks like someone you can't mess with.

No, I haven't seen her.

Thanks.

Looking for her this way is not working.

You may not be worried about her but I am.

A'Fei always keeps her promises.

If nothing happened, she'd definitely meet us as agreed.

She's not even here yet. Could something have happen?

No, you're not the same. She's very skilled and fierce.

There's a saying. Bad things will turn out fine? She'll be fine.

What do you mean we're not the same?

It was so dangerous at Extermination Meeting.

There are treacherous people everywhere. Is she in danger?

No, people from 48 Strongholds are meaner.

What nonsense is this? Find her!

It's a long story.

Medicine King Record was written by Lu Run,...

...an outstanding person with exceptional talent.

He spent his life writing about poison and medicine...

...in Medicine King Record.

It's Great Apothecary Valley's treasure.

It's a pity that it was destroyed by a fire during the massacre.

We reap what we sow.

There's karma for everything.

It's not your fault.

It's Anzhi's fate. -He shouldn't be reaping it.

I won't accept this kind of karma.

You're feeling sad earlier on.

You get over it so quickly.

Since you acted, it means there's hope.

Otherwise, you wouldn't have told me this, right?

You're pure at heart. It's rare to see someone...

...free of greed, anger and evil.

I don't deserve such a compliment.

I just want something different from the rest.

He often says he's living an unfortunate life.

I don't think that's true.

Master, you've been beating around the bush.

Can you tell me what you're entrusting me?

I'm taking him back to Peng Lai.

To save Anzhi, I can only use Triple Decoction...

...to keep him alive for now.

Triple Decoction?

Triple Decoction consists of three dosages.

I've been travelling all over the central plains...

....in search of sacred plants to ward off coldness.

I've managed to concoct the first decoction.

I'll have him drink it when he returns to Peng Lai.

It may stop his heart meridian from being frozen for now.

If he have the other two decoctions within three months,...

...he may have a chance to regain consciousness.

However, we need the hottest poison in the world...

...to fight Piercing Green.

You can only find it by chance.

We really don't know if we can find it.

It all depends on fate.

Will he recover after drinking it?

It'll only treat the symptoms, not the cause.

This is all that I can think of based on my ability.

After these three dosages..... -I understand.

Master, you only have to tell me where to find these plants.

It's about time...

...the Flaming Lotus will bloom at the coldest part in Northeast.

It only happens once every 10 years.

The lotus has nine petals.

The best time to pick it is when it's fully blossomed.

If you miss it, you'll have to wait another 10 years.

It depends on whether you can make it on time.

I'll bring back Flaming Lotus.

Ask him to wait for me.

Miss,...

...have you ever thought about this?

You may not get what you want...

...despite all the effort?

When I was carrying him on my back,...

...I really thought he's dead.

I was devastated,...

...but now I know there are ways to help him.

Even though it's difficult,...

...there's a ray of hope, right?

You're indeed smart and sensible.

Child,...

...see Anzhi before you go.

No, I'll see him after I pick the Flaming Lotus.

This child.

You forgot this.

Many risk their lives to get it.

You actually forgot and left it behind.

It's troublesome to bring it along. Keep it for me.

I'll take it back if I remember it.

The young one is really unusual.

Isn't he dead? Why is he as cold as ice?

Brother Xie,...

...I couldn't save you when you're still alive.

Now that you're dead, I'll study Piercing Green with your body.

It's considered doing good, right?

You wouldn't blame me, right?

If you don't say anything, I'll take that as a yes.

Amitabha.

Master, don't get me wrong.

Kid,...

...I'll take care of my disciple.

Even a dead person?

He's still alive?

A'Yan, there're not many people in this desolated place.

Why don't we head back first? -You can go if you want.

I can't leave you here. Your martial arts are.....

What's wrong with it? -It's pretty good.

I mean I don't know what I should tell your brother?

You don't have tell him anything!

He wanted to wait for her at the inn instead.

He never thought that A'Fei might be in danger.

Both of you are heartless! Go that way.

It hurts! -Sorry, I didn't mean it!

Here, take this handkerchief.

I wonder how A'Fei is doing now.

If she bumps into Disha, I wonder who will be unlucky.

A'Fei is more skilful than us but so what?

There's no one to watch over her if she's in danger.

I must find her. I won't go back without her.

There's someone there.

Ying Hecong? -Why is he hanging here?

Get him down. -All right.

A'Sheng, don't worry about A'Fei.

She's highly skilled and smart. She'll be fine.

Am I worried about her?

She has progressed so much since she got down from the mountain.

Besides, very few can defeat...

...and fool her now.

She also has Xie Yun.

It's good enough if she doesn't bully others.

Speaking of which,...

...A'Yan hasn't returned from searching for her.

Aren't you worried?

A'Yan is still a kid. After going through all this,...

...she may still be overwhelmed.

At least she finally knows that people can be dangerous.

Are you worried about Master Chongxiaozi?

He always keeps this fly-whisk by his side.

Even if Yin Pei wanted to steal it,...

...he wouldn't have gotten it so easily.

What should we do now?

Li Sheng! Sister Chuchu.

See what's wrong with Ying Hecong.

"Lingling City"

Wake up.

What are you trying to do to me?

What? We found you out there.

Tell me. Who knocked you out?

Why did you leave without telling us after the meeting?

Did you lave on your own or were you abducted?

A'Yan, calm down. -Let him settle down first.

He might have become stupid after knocking his head.

You're the fool. -Look, I was right.

I..... -Tell me.

Have you seen A'Fei and Xie Yun?

No.

I left on my own.

Who knocked you out?

Weren't you very skilled?

Stop it. He might not want to reveal the person's identity.

A'Yan, stop pressuring him.

An opponent that can't be mentioned?

Are you their accomplice?

No way! Can you stop bothering me?

Zhou Fei is fine and she's really capable. Don't worry.

I thought you said you didn't see her.

How did you know?

How dare you lie to me!

I want to have snake soup. I'll eat it!

Stop! I'll tell you. I saw your cousin and Xie Yun in the forest.

They fought with Chu Tianyu.

A'Fei met Disha? Is she hurt?

Chu Tianyu is dead. Zhou Fei is fine.

How did she kill Chu Tianyu? -She's not alone.

Xie Yun was there, too. I helped her out, too.

This is not important. Just stop bothering me. Leave.

Tell me. -Stop pestering me.

Tell me. I really want to know.

Go. -Does Zhou Fei have new moves?

No such thing. Don't stay here. -Tell me.

How did she kill him? -Give me some space. Go away!

Let others do it instead.

You don't have to do it yourself.

They won't be able to take care of it.

No one succeeded in planting Drowning Sorrow...

...at Great Apothecary Valley.

I've finally succeeded after studying it for over a decade.

"CG animals on screen"

"CG animals on screen"

Yes, miss? -Waiter,...

...did you see Mr. Li leaving the inn?

I didn't notice anyone leaving since the morning.

Where can he be?

Don't worry, he might have left really early...

...that I missed him. He might be back soon.

Sister Chuchu.

Sister Chuchu, where are you going?

A'Yan, have you seen your brother?

What's up with him?

He and his personal items are not in his room.

He didn't run off again, did he?

I found it strange yesterday. He kept staring at...

...the fly-whisk and saying he's worried about Master Chongxiaozi.

I think he must be looking for him.

I must find your brother.

Sister Chuchu, it's too dangerous out there. You mustn't go.

A'Yan, you brother has been protecting me.

I must be with him if he's in danger.

Moreover, he might encounter.....

A'Yan, wait for our return.

I know where it is. So I should be able to find him.

Who might my brother encounter?

Lord, Ms. Wu, whom you've asked us...

...to keep an eye on, has left the inn.

Is she really going back to 48 Strongholds with that brat?

She departed alone.

Alone?

Why would she go alone when she couldn't fight at all?

The men saw it with their own eyes,...

...but she's not heading in the direction of 48 Strongholds.

Watch her closely. Prepare a horse. I'll catch up.

Yes, Lord.

Without that eunuch around, flowers here bloom so beautifully.

What do you think?

Seriously?

With you here, I never notice any of the flowers.

Stop it, you know what I want to say.

Getting others to do the dirty work is a good plan.

The general won't be able to have the goods on you.

You're wrong.

It's killing two birds with one stone.

If I wanted to kill Chu Tianyu, he wouldn't have stayed alive.

I kept him to catch a bigger fish.

You've suffered.

You mean Ocean Sky?

As I've expected,...

...Ocean Sky will resurface very soon.

Your old injuries cannot wait anymore.

We must open Ocean Sky to find Medicine King Record...

...to treat your injury.

All you do is comforting me.

However, if the rumour...

...about Propelling Cloud Palm resurfacing is true,...

...I'm certain I can get Shendu Seal from that brat.

You're pretty well-informed even when you only stay home.

I was the one who poisoned Xiao Chuan...

...with Piercing Green.

He used internal energy recklessly.

So he'll die from the poison soon.

To survive, only the hottest poison can fight Piercing Green.

It happens that Flaming Lotus is going to bloom this year.

She must be on her way to pick Flaming Lotus now.

Tianying, you're smart. With you, I can defeat an army.

In that case, I'll make a trip. -No, you almost lost yourself...

...while practising martial arts...

...and you got hurt at 48 Strongholds.

You must not go.

Zhou Fei is pretty skilled in Poxue Skills.

I'm afraid that others won't be able to beat her.

Let Tiankuang go then.

No, I've said...

...that Lu Tiankuang is only responsible for your safety.

It's not the time for him to make a move.

Ocean Sky has been under the radar for more than 10 years.

Now it's finally going to resurface.

I don't want to miss this chance. -However.....

Tiankuang came from a very harsh place.

I think Zhou Fei might not beat him on the snow mountain.

You're right. Before he joined Disha Sect,...

...he was known as Snow Wolf.

Tangerine peel.

Ginger.

Wolfberries. Red dates.

What else can we use to ward off coldness?

Ginger, red dates and wolfberries to get rid of Piercing Green?

Stop playing around. Give it back. -Stop!

You're not helping. Don't stop me from looking for the antidote.

You won't even let me look at it.

Xie Yun will have reincarnated multiple times when you find one.

He's still alive. Why would you, a physician, give up on a patient?

Go away. Don't bother me.

What are you doing? -I'm finding antidote for Xie Yun.

This person is giving up on Xie Yun.

You're the only successor of Great Apothecary Valley.

You're our only hope in curing him.

Even if you're not skilled, why do you have to run?

It's better than you, who know nothing about medicine.

You.....

Great Apothecary Valley no longer exists.

Return Hongyu to me. I'm leaving now.

No, A'Fei is looking for the antidote everywhere.

It's a matter of life and death. You can't go!

I've told you many times that I don't know how to do it!

Give it back to me. -Go. Hongyu is staying.

Fine, let's see who Hongyu will follow.

How can you do this?

It was merry at first but Xie Yun is dying and A'Fei is away.

My brother and Chuchu are gone. Now you're leaving, too.

Go if you want. I'll stay to find the antidote.

Think of something. -Clean up this mess yourself.

I have no idea.

Stop crying, all right? -No.

Then, I won't leave, all right?

Help me with the antidote, too. -I'll try my best.

Give Hongyu to me, too. -No way!

Stop! I saw the waiter coming back with some bullfrogs.

Hongyu will like them. Why don't you take a look...

...before other guests buy them. -Really?

Hongyu, let's go.

Has she...

...always been like this?

Yes, Miss. -There are fresh bullfrogs, right?

You haven't killed them, right? -You're really well-informed.

Hold on, I'll bring them over. -All right.

Xiaoyu, you'll have something to eat later.

"CG animals on screen"

I purposely sent Chu Tianyu...

...to handle Ocean Sky.

We'd been keeping an eye on Chu Tianyu as ordered.

We found he secretly ordered his men to obstruct a Liu Youliang.

"Lingling Inn"

Sir, are you injured? Are you all right?

Get lost! Stay away from me.

Sir, I'm being nice. Do you need bandages?

My friend is a physician. He's upstairs. I'll bring you there.

Shut up. Sit down.

Sir, what did you do to provoke Disha?

Propelling Cloud Palm and Poxue aren't scary enough,...

...because they don't even know the secret of Ocean Sky.

The key is with Liu Youliang.

How many of you? Please come in.

We're looking for someone. Get lost!

Don't move. Just say you don't know me if you're asked.

"CG animal on screen"

Find the snake man.

It's all right, I'm their enemy, too.

Between both of you, you must be the good guy. I'll help you.

I didn't know you're pretty agile...

...for an old man.

My men and I have to run all over Lingling City.

Why aren't you running? You can't move anymore?

What are you saying?

You even found a young brat as your helper.

I'm not his helper. People from Disha are so shameless!

Ganging up on a weak old man...

...in broad daylight. You'll lose face if this is spread.

Is Master Shen shameless, too? -Yes!
