Legend of Fei

Episode 30

Hongyu!

Watch it! Don't scare it!

I finally found you.

Let it go. You're hurting it.

Just let me keep it for a couple of days.

Yang Jin! -It's not me.

Li Sheng, you're hurting me!

It hurts, right? I can hear you shouting from afar.

Answer me. Why are you here?

He got me here. -Me?

Liar! Who would bring a burden like you?

Burden? All of you view me as a burden!

He doesn't!

I'm at the extermination meeting because he asked me for direction.

Am I right?

Stop it, she's my saviour.

She's 48 Strongholds' heroine. You can't do this. Let her go.

Heroine? I'm her brother.

So, you're the one they're talking about...

...this morning, the one who sneaked away, Li Yan.

That's odd. Why did you arrive later than I did?

It's because this morning, we.....

Enough, let's stop talking here.

We're already lost. Let's find a way out.

I'll deal with you later.

That's it. You've helped me out. So we're even now.

Return Hongyu to me. -Lend it to me for two days.

I've already noticed when we came to this forest.

This is designed according to Qimen Dunjia Formation.

It can stop others but not me. Follow me.

Looks like we're late even though we left early.

Lord, people from 48 Strongholds are here.

So, you're the one who interfered at Lingling Inn.

Who are you?

No matter how disobedient my subordinates are,...

...it's not your place to punish them.

Do you deserve to know my name?

Do you want to fight?

I think you are not here for revenge, right, Black Tortoise?

I guess this beautiful maiden is more sensible.

Why does it disgust me when he said the word "beautiful"?

I'll get even with you regarding Lingling Inn incident...

...after the meeting.

That pavilion looks nice.

Let's go there. A'Fei. Come on.

Let's go.

Judging from this, is this a meeting for the heroes...

...or a trap?

Those with invitations are at the water pavilion.

Those without invitation are on this side.

No wonder Huo Liantao stated names on the invitations.

I noticed at Huo's Dark Dungeon...

...that Huo Liantao had a strange way of thinking.

He's not like a normal person.

It turns out he only sent invitations to his own supporters.

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming...

...and it's an honour for me.

I'm extremely grateful.

It's said martial arts world in the central plain is in decline...

...where people remain silent about oppression. There's...

...no leader nor heroes. What a bunch of nonsense!

I gather everyone here today...

...to persuade all of you...

...to put aside your differences.

Let's unite and work together.

Today, we should find a hero among you...

...to lead the martial arts world.

Huo Manor will give our support...

...by presenting our heirloom.

Heirloom? That generous?

Why is he being so generous all of a sudden?

Does he know what Shuibo Mark is? -After the uproar,...

...if he still didn't know what's Ocean Sky,...

...he'd be the laughing stock.

This was what Huo Manor carved on Shendu Seal.

This seal has been a token of Huo Manor.

I'd been oblivious for so many years.

I only realised about Shuibo Mark recently.

Now Disha is running rampant.

I have little talent. I wish to find a capable person...

...among you to take over this Shendu Seal...

...so that we can find Ocean Sky together with other heroes...

...and fight against Disha Sect!

Great!

Has Huo Liantao always been good at convincing people?

No wonder Mr. Vermillion can be persuaded.

He has the confidence and charm to call for a cause.

Once you master half of it, you can go around fooling others.

Master Huo doesn't seem like a bad guy.

Will he really pick a leader among us?

Huo Liantao may not be half as skilled as Old Master Huo,...

...but I wonder who taught him the skills of deceiving people.

The best way to make up lies...

...is to mix truth and lies...

...instead of making up a story like someone.

Anyone would know it's a total lie.

Only a fool would believe it.

Looks like you have more to learn.

Who's that fool?

Huo, are you telling the truth?

In that case, you should choose Black Tortoise.

Hand over the seal now.

Pick Black Tortoise! -Pick Black Tortoise!

Pick Black Tortoise! -Pick Black Tortoise!

The moment he shows up, he reveals Shuibo Mark,...

...saying it's Huo's heirloom. What is he planning?

He is targeted by Disha Sect.

Moreover, he has offended many people from Dark Dungeon.

He has no other choice but to reveal Ocean Sky...

...and see who can take over this problem to distract Disha.

It's not that simple. I think he's up to something else.

Why must we pick him as the leader? He doesn't deserve it.

Let's compete if you dare! -We'll decide with skills!

Fight! -Fight then!

Come up! -Go up!

Master Huo, we all know Shuibo Mark is extraordinary!

However, do you know what on earth is Ocean Sky...

...behind Shuibo Mark?

The treasure behind Shuibo Mark is Ocean Sky.

During the rebellion in previous era, people were in danger.

Disha Sect used dirty means to get rid of honest and loyal men.

Over the years,...

...how many relics...

...and hard work of the masters...

...was almost destroyed in that catastrophe.

My brother then contacted Master Yin of Shanchuan Sword,...

...Li Zheng of Southern Saber, Master of Qimen Sect...

...and other masters to fight side by side.

Led by my brother, they formed an alliance...

...called Ocean Sky.

Its purpose is to rescue orphans of every sects...

...and protect their relics.

Ocean Sky is the hope of the martial arts world.

Own it means and you own the world.

For this reason, Disha attacked Yin Manor...

...and 48 Strongholds many times.

Even Qimen Sect retreated and live in seclusion.

Can you see how powerful Ocean Sky is?

I knew he didn't know...

...what Ocean Sky was.

That's why he pretended to know about it and held this meeting.

How do you know he doesn't know?

He made it up like me. -He made it up?

A'Fei, what did you tell Yang Jin?

People from 48 Strongholds are so mean!

Yang Jin, calm down. -I.....

If you move, I'll get Hongyu to bite you.

You're from Southern Xinjiang. Why are you afraid of snakes?

I'm even afraid of coldness.

Treat Hongyu nicely. Don't bully it.

Stop.

Your Highness, something is wrong.

Stop walking.

So, this is the third prince.

I've heard so much about you.

All right, Master Huo.

It sounds great.

Anyone who's here can take part.

I'd like to contribute, too.

Let me be the leader...

...and take over Shendu Seal then.

Second Master Huo, you said that...

...we're gathering heroes here.

In that case, we should compete to be the leader.

Only the one with the highest skills can take Shendu Seal.

Without competing, who are you to take the seal?

That's right! Who is he to take the seal without competing?

Who does he think he is?

Everyone, show mercy during the competition.

Don't ever kill one another.

Anyone who doesn't compete is a coward!

Since we're competing, we must first kill Ding Kui.

How dare he attend Extermination Meeting.

Master Huo, aren't you going to do anything about it?

Kill him! -Yes, kill Ding Kui!

Kill him! -Kill Ding Kui!

Kill him!

Does he want these martial artists to kill each other?

Just a few words from Huo Liantao...

...and he became their pillar all of a sudden.

They no longer remember what he did at Dark Dungeon.

It's easier to bribe people than buying pancakes.

Are they really going to fight?

Don't worry, nothing will happen with Master Huo around.

Huo Liantao, you're giving them a chance to take revenge of me.

I'm not afraid of lame people like you.

However, before you make your move,...

...why didn't you ask Huo Liantao this?

If Ocean Sky is really as incredible as he said,...

...why didn't the Huo family mention this before?

He has a point. -He's right.

Good question.

Since Ocean Sky is a good,...

...why did the seniors keep mum and didn't reveal it?

I'll tell you today.

Even if a sect was destroyed,...

...those who managed to keep the sect,...

...must have something great.

It could be a magical weapon,...

...or a long-lost medical prescription,...

...or even martial arts manuals.

There're 63 sects.

That's nearly half of the martial arts world.

How much treasure is there that will make people go crazy?

With Disha running rampant now,...

...if we don't find the treasure...

...to defend the martial arts world and help the people,...

...we won't be able to live with ourselves.

Master Huo is right.

He has a point.

She's so beautiful.

What is that witch doing here? -Lord, she questioned us...

...a few days ago. I thought she's similar to Ding Kui.

So, I didn't report it to you. -Fool!

I can trick others...

...about Ocean Sky but not her.

Master Huo, if Ocean Sky is really a treasure,...

...the one who commands the heroes should be Li Zheng's descendant...

...instead of you.

Little Feifei?

We meet again.

Who are those people at the pavilion?

Master Huo, they are descendants of Southern Saber,...

...Zhou Fei and Li Sheng.

They saved me at Lingling Inn.

Really?

Why is Madam Ni Chang on this side?

Don't tell me she's not invited, too?

Madam Ni Chang and the late Master Huo were old friends.

However, Huo Liantao is stirring up trouble.

Why would he send her an invitation?

What on earth is Ocean Sky? No one actually knows?

Don't be fooled by this devious man...

...and die for the so-called treasure.

Is it even worthwhile?

Everyone wants different things in this world.

What exactly is the treasure...

...that makes everyone risk everything to have it?

Madam Ni Chang, it's not up to you to say...

...that Ocean Sky isn't a treasure.

I heard people from 48 Strongholds are here.

Why not just ask them...

...why Disha Sect...

...keeps attacking them.

Yes. Why? -Why?

You can't even explain it, can you?

Look, even you're involved now.

It's going to be fun now.

Everyone, I'm from 48 Strongholds.

I'm Li Sheng.

Did 48 Strongholds have no one else?

Why did they send these kids here?

Why did Disha attack 48 Strongholds?

They have a death wish.

Who has the same thought as Disha? You can give it a go.

A'Fei, what nonsense are you talking about?

These heroes here aren't shameless...

...like Disha Sect.

Recently, there's a rumour...

...that Southern Saber has a great descendant.

She rescued the descendant of General Wu...

...and caused a scene in Huarong City.

She even killed Azure Dragon Lord, Zheng Luosheng.

I guess this beautiful delicate young maiden...

...is General Wu Fei's descendant, right?

Great, apart from the dead,...

...everyone related to Ocean Sky is here.

At least you can tell us...

...what exactly is Ocean Sky.

For your question, Black Tortoise,...

...I've never heard of it from my elders.

However, I don't think my grandfather...

...would hide something important like this...

...when he passed 48 Strongholds to my aunt.

My father, too.

I may not be part of the martial arts world. I've lost my home.

It's impossible for me to even get involved in martial arts world.

I may not know what Ocean Sky is,...

...but those who had Shuibo Mark ended up dead.

Are you sure you still want to look for it?

Don't move! You'd better behave!

I didn't expect Huo Liantao would collude with Disha Sect.

He doesn't deserve to collude with me.

He's only a lapdog.

Extermination Meeting is actually Disha's plot.

You're just bidding your time...

...while they kill each other.

Third Prince, looks like the people around you...

...are smarter than you.

Too bad he's only half right.

Getting those weaklings to kill each other...

...was a stupid move only Huo Liantao could think of.

I'm only taking advantage of this situation, that's all.

Lord Chu, that's between you and Huo Liantao.

It has nothing to do with the Third Prince.

Blame it on your prince...

...for poking his nose into the martial arts world.

The Huo family behaves so arrogantly...

...because the imperial court is supporting them.

He offended the martial arts world...

...and are hunted by Disha.

He has to hide in this forest.

Without you,...

...Huo Manor,...

...will disappear from the martial arts world.

So,...

...the last thing he would want to see...

...is for something to happen...

...to your prince...

...within his compound.

Just tell us what exactly you want.

I'm going to exchange the prince's life...

...for the thing that I want.

Keep an eye on them and wait for my order.

If Huo Liantao refuses to give me the real Shendu Seal,...

...just kill them all! -Yes, Lord.

Your Highness.

I want to ask you instead.

If Ocean Sky isn't a real treasure,...

...what do you plan to do after that?

Can you compensate...

...the lives lost for Ocean Sky?

Madam Ni Chang,...

...I respect you as the mistress of Yuyi Troupe.

So I'm giving you face.

However, please don't go too far.

Those kids from 48 Strongholds have no idea...

...because their elders found them unreliable.

Hence the elders refused to tell them.

However, for whatever reasons my brother...

...was entrusted with Shendu Seal,...

...it doesn't concern you at all.

How can he call us unreliable?

He's unreliable instead.

Don't make a scene.

I'll check on her.

Let Yang Jin go. He's more worried than you.

Go away!

Hongyu!

I've finally found you, Hongyu.

Since you found out, I'm going to kill you!

What do you want to do?

No one can bully her!

Why are there so many barrels of kerosene here?

Is Huo Liantao planning to burn down his house?

If there's a fire, everyone will die in the fire...

...since it's difficult to get out from this forest.

He's planning to kill uninvited guests like us in one go.

They want to kill us because they're no match for us.

Are we competing in martial arts? Why are they so evil?

I'll look for my brother and free everyone.

All right, I'll go with you.

Fool, what if anyone tries to light it?

Stay here and keep watch.

You have a point.

Come back soon. -All right!

I can prove...

...whether it exists or not.

Chu Tianyu?

Lord Chu.

Don't simply move if you don't explain.

That goes for your snakes, too.

Ocean Sky...

...is indeed a treasure.

During a rebellion of the previous dynasty,...

...a batch of treasure was sent out of the palace...

...and it was protected by a group of martial artists.

I saw this with my own eyes.

I'm a palace official...

...under the Third Prince of the current dynasty.

I'm here to prove that Master Huo is telling the truth.

Heroes,...

...you can take a look at this badge.

"It's Zichen's badge."

What's wrong?

Do you know who this person is?

How do you plan to fight him?

How did the Third Prince's badge end up with you?

I'm not skilled.

However, I still have some connections.

It's indeed the Third Prince's badge.

I invited the Third Prince...

...to the Huo Manor as a guest.

I hope you don't mind. -I.....

Huo Liantao, you're seeking the support of the imperial court.

Are you planning to get the imperial court involved?

Even an official from the palace has verified it.

Sister Ni Chang, what else do you have to say?

Mr. Ying, you must think carefully.

If you die, Great Apothecary Valley...

...will be completely destroyed.

Great Apothecary Valley?

Do you know him?

No,...

...not many can diagnose Piercing Green at a glance...

...or are aware of Guiyang Pill.

Mr. Ying,...

...it's hard to face it, but you have to endure it.

Second Master Huo, since the treasure is real,...

...hand over Shendu Seal.

Then, only the one who wins can take the seal!

Looks like they're going to fight.

You'd better not go back on your word!

That's right! -Exactly!

Don't go back on your word! -Precisely!

You must be accountable! -That's right!

What are you planning to do?

A'Fei, an old friend is here. I must meet him.

See the crossbows around their waists? You'll be shot...

...if you just barge out,...

...no matter how good your Qing Gong is.

Then, we'll go around the forest.

I'll go with you then.

Where are you going? -Heat stroke.

I'm taking him to somewhere cool.

Keep an eye on that snake man.

"Land of Paragon"

We're finally out.

What's wrong?

Where did all the female ushers go?

They're all gone.

There's no one around. Why don't you tell me...

...why you insisted on going there?

The official you saw just now...

...had Zichen's badge. Zichen might be in danger.

You're not yourself even before that person showed up.

I can't hide anything from you.

That man is indeed a court official,...

...but he used to be an official of our imperial court.

You know him?

Before other members of Disha turned to Shen Tianshu,...

...most of them were already famous martial artists.

Only Chu Tianyu...

...ended up in our palace as he couldn't survive then.

He stayed by my father's side because he's smart.

When my father was young, he often brought this person...

...with him whenever he studied or practised martial arts.

My father had poor political and military achievements.

However, that attendant had learnt so much.

When the mutiny happened,...

...he was bribed by the general who led the mutiny...

...to betray my father. He caused him to drown during the battle.

This man was then recommended by Yu Wenzhi to join Disha...

...as the Sparrow.

The martial arts world don't know this as he's an eunuch.

He's the enemy who caused your father's death.

I'll kill him for you then.

A'Fei,...

...Chu Tianyu becomes even more sinister after he was castrated.

His palm technique is extremely quick and fierce.

If he was interested in roaming the martial arts world,...

...Shen Tianshu wouldn't have become the head of Disha.

Are you not going just because he's more skilful?

If I don't go, I'll have let my father down.

That's it. Let's go then.

The meeting will be over if we don't go now.

Master Huo, why don't you show Shendu Seal...

...to everyone here?

That's right! -Show us!

Lord Chu, you..... -Just show it to us!

Be careful when you bring the seal.

Don't let anyone have a chance to switch it...

...or else I'll be displeased.

Then the prince...

...will have to suffer.

Go, it's almost time.

This is an item from the palace.

It's likely from Zichen's badge.

Do you think he's locked up in here?

They may dress up like eunuchs,...

...but the weapons in their hands.....

Disha?

Chu Tianyu confined Zichen here...

...to use Zichen's badge...

...to pretend to be a court official...

...and restrict Huo Liantao.

He's killing two birds with one stone.

A'Fei, can you...

...unlock this for me now?

Official Chu is with Huo Liantao.

These are just Disha's underlings.

I don't have to trouble you to get rid of them.

Xie Yun!

Are you all right?

Did you have fun at the meeting?

Was it the same as what's written in the novels?

Thank you, Xie Yun.

Thank you, Miss.

Enough said, it's dangerous here.

Take him out of here.

Mr. Xie, where are you going?

That vicious old eunuch is colluding with Huo Liantao.

Don't let your guard down.

Why don't we leave together?

Just keep an eye on the prince. Don't let him cause trouble.

I'll keep an eye on him.

Where did the Physician of Venom go?

I wanted to find out how Old Master Huo died so that...

...to not let Master Chongxiaozi down.

However, these people keep causing trouble.

What's wrong? -We've sent signals,...

...but there's no response. -Find out what happened.

Yes, Lord. -Master Huo.

Official Chu, you must be joking.

I wouldn't go back on my word.

We've agreed to have a competition. Please calm down.

That's right. If you don't mind,...

...it's not too late for you to start fighting...

...after I check the authenticity of this Shendu Seal.

Master Huo.

Master Huo,...

...don't let the Third Prince wait for too long.

Mr. Vermilion, what brings you here?

I'm glad that you're here!

It's interesting.

As a prestigious sect, not only you rely...

...on the imperial court,...

...you even got people from Four Gods Mountain to help you.

Ocean Sky? Shendu Seal? It's a bunch of jokes!

Ding Kui, shut your mouth. -You.....

Well-said, Mr. Vermilion.

Take down those who are coveting Huo's treasure.

Huo Liantao, you're really good at putting on an act.

Mu Xiaoqiao,...

...it hasn't been long since my brother died.

Are you being an ingrate now? -Shut up.

Do you deserve to call my name?

You..... -How dare you mention him.

Who are you?

I saw this tree just now. Why am I still here?

"I must not panic.

Yang Jin is waiting for me. I must find my brother soon."

Hongyu?

You know the way?

Bring him here.

Lift your head and look at him.

Do you know him? -This is.....

Second Master, save me!

I'm Xiaoliu, your gardener.

You told me that the flowers I planted were pretty.

Save me!

I don't think there's a need...

...to solve your family matters during this meeting, right?

You must have been very busy that you forgot him.

He's Qian Xiaoliu,...

...Huo Manor's gardener.

Yes, the flowers he plants are indeed beautiful.

He takes care of all the flowers in these gardens...

...and the backyard.

Mr. Vermilion,...

...we're discussing important matters here.

You barged in like a mad person.

Don't tell me it's because of a gardener?

Of course not.

This gardener is unlike others.

When I caught him,...

...he said he saw...

...Second Master Huo has moving the Huo family's property out...

...and leaving a bed-ridden Old Master Huo at the manor.

It's just to wait for Disha's arrival.

You're spouting nonsense!

Second Master Huo,...

...when you escaped to Lingling City,...

...did you think...

...of bringing the bedridden Old Master Huo with you?

Of course I did.

However, he refused to leave with me.

He refused?

Qian Xiaoliu, tell him!

I saw.....

After searching for so long,...

...Shendu Seal had been right under my nose.

Give it back. -Out of the way!

Not long after Huo Liantao left Huo Manor,...

...Master Chongxiaozi and I got there and stayed until he died.

Nonsense!

Mr. Vermilion, where did you find a liar...

...and make up all these lies to deceive all these heroes?

He's making me sound like a heartless and evil person!

Huo Liantao! I didn't expect this. You are shameless!

Not only you collude with Disha Sect, you even...

...abandoned your own brother!

I want to know what gives you the courage...

...to stand here and call yourself Master of Huo Manor?

What did he mean by colluding with Disha?

Lord Chu, Third Prince is not your master...

...but Master Shen of Disha Sect.

Handsome guy,...

...you've become smarter after a while.

Even you can tell.

This person is indeed...

...Disha's dog, Chu Tianyu.

So, Disha is wherever Ocean Sky is.

It's like a bunch of dogs going after meat.

How pathetic.

Huo Liantao, you're actually colluding with Disha Sect?

Everyone, listen to me!

Listen to me! -Colluding?

What a joke.

Huo Liantao is nothing more than my dog!

I.....

Chu Tianyu is going to have a falling-out with Huo Liantao...

...after his plan to use him to kill everyone here fails.

Tao'er, I knew you're stupid since you're a kid.

However, I never thought...

...you would have learnt nothing over the years...

...and remained as stupid!

You even colluded with Disha Sect.

I can't help suspecting the cause behind Old Master Huo's death.

How did he get poisoned?

That time,...

...I hadn't even joined forces with Disha!

Mistress.

He admitted it. I'm afraid a fierce battle is inevitable.

A'Fei, this is no joke.

Unlock this. I will not run away.

I admit whatever Qian Xiaoliu said.

However, I didn't poison him...

...with Drowning Sorrow!

Poisoned?

No matter how vicious I am,...

...I'd never harm my own brother!

Was Old Master Huo...

...secretly poisoned by someone?

I guess only Lianshen from Disha could poison...

...a master like Old Master Huo.

Brother! Someone is trying to set the forest on fire!

Fire? -Fire?

There's a fire. -Let's leave.

Let's escape!

Huo Liantao, don't even think of running away!

Stop!

This is bad. The forest is filled with kerosene!

A'Fei, hurry. Chu Tianyu left. -Don't move.

Ms. Zhou!

Ms. Zhou. -Run.

Zichen is leaving from the backyard. Let's meet up with him.

Hand over the seal.

Capture him!

"Sparrow"

Are you trying to run away?

Yang Jin. -You're finally back.

Are you all right? -I had to come back for you.

I've marked the route.

Yang Jin, take Chuchu and A'Yan with you...

...and follow Hongyu out of this forest.

What about you? -I have to go back.

The martial artists won't be able to leave without a guide.

I'll help you. -Aren't you worried...

...when the two girls are with a snake?

Be careful then.

A'Sheng, be careful.

Why are we still here?

How dare you lead when you don't know the way. Die!

Stop!

Black Tortoise, we're now in the same boat.

Let's talk when we're out. -He wasted a lot of our time.

What if I insist on killing him?

You indeed can't tell right from wrong.

Do you really want everyone...

...to be trapped in this forest filled with kerosene?

That..... -Do you want to be a public enemy?

Who's a public enemy here?

It's you bunch of kids.

Mr. Li, I haven't asked for the object of Ocean Sky.

Don't tell me you don't know anyone who owns Ocean Sky...

...and who is everyone's enemy. -Close you mouth...

...or a fly will fly into it.

Anyone who wants the treasure can kill me now.

If you want to live, follow me!

Master Li, I didn't have a chance...

...to greet you at Lingling Inn.

Are you Li Zheng's grandson?

You know this formation? -Yes.

I've studied the art of Qimen Dunjia from Master Chongxiaozi.

All right, I'll go with you then.

If you want to live, follow him.

Otherwise, you will die here.

Who dares to leave?

Lead them out first.
