Legend of Fei

Episode 25

Yang Jin.

Don't cry.

Quiet, you're going to attract Disha's attention.

What are you doing here?

I saw Yu Wenzhi's private troops when I was in town.

I can't believe a royal stationed a heavy troop in Chunhui Town.

There's something odd about it.

So I was worried and I turned back to take a look.

Who are you worried about?

It's none of your business. It's not you anyway.

Yang Jin, I never knew...

...I'd be so happy to see you.

You talk a lot. I'm leaving.

Where are you going? Wait for me.

Why are you leaving the place?

Disha is colluding with Yu Wenzhi to harm 48 Strongholds.

My brother sent me down to send word for help.

All right, I'll go with you.

I'm not afraid to die. -So am I.

We'll just die with them. -Die with them.

Didn't you say it's dangerous outside? Don't go.

You'll be safer here with my protection.

You're such a brave boy.

I'll leave everyone here under your care.

I'm going out to gather intelligence.

I'll be back soon.

When you grow up, you must be a brave man...

...to protect your home and country, all right?

All right.

I guess that's what happened.

We must not lose out to the youngsters.

Slow down.

Yang Jin, I don't think this is a good idea.

Look, this leads to Chunhui Town.

Find Zhou Fei and I'll go to the secret service alone.

No, you can't go alone. I'll go with you.

We have no other choice.

You're a good fighter and not afraid of death.

48 Strongholds needs someone like you now.

However... -Stop it.

I don't fight as well as Zhou Fei but I can send a message.

No, you can't! Disha's disciples are everywhere.

Can you deal with them alone if they catch up with you?

Moreover..... -Yang Jin,...

...you shouldn't worry about me.

I'm not worried about you. I'm worried that 48 Strongholds...

...will blame me if you get hurt.

Yes, that's the reason.

Stop being fussy, you're the Master of Cloud Ravine.

Can't you be more efficient? Go now!

Yang Jin!

Be careful at all times.

Anyone in?

You know what to do. Don't speak carelessly.

Open the door.

Miss, who are you looking for?

Why isn't anyone out there?

Who are you? I don't know you.

I'm from 48 Strongholds. Please do me a favour.

Send this message to Master Gan Tang, Zhou Yitang.

Tell him 48 Strongholds is being besieged by Disha Sect.

I'm not the one you seek. I don't know anyone from 48 Strongholds.

Sir, please help me.

Where are you heading, little girl?

What do you want?

We've been hiding nearby for days and knew this place was fishy.

You're unlucky to have encountered us today.

The person sneaking down the mountain was you, right?

You are indeed here to send a message.

Why is it a blank paper? What are you up to?

Run!

Run!

May you receive the five blessings.

May I know the colour of the bat?

I'm not part of Peddlers Gang.

I have to see Chief Xu. It's urgent.

"Li Sheng and A'Fei must have told me to go down the mountain...

...to send the message as they wanted to protect me.

I must get reinforcement.

Elders, we've looked everywhere but can't find Li Sheng.

Impossible. Even if he's dead, we can still recognise his corpse.

Could he have fallen into Ximo? -That.....

To protect the inner gate, A'Sheng sacrificed himself to stop Disha.

If we can't find his corpse, how do we answer to Mistress Li?

Chuchu, wait for me.

Disha are crooks.

I'm going to kill them all sooner or later!

Bad news, Commander.

Our men at 48 Stronghold's secret service reported...

...that they sent someone down to see Zhou Yitang for reinforcement.

Their troops will arrive soon.

They actually managed to go down the mountain?

Lord Shen is closing on the gate of the stronghold.

It's impossible for them to go down from the main road.

Also, Qian Ji Formation is their rear defence.

I don't think they'd dare to stop the machine.

I can only barge in if the wily old fox doesn't come out.

The defence is impenetrable.

There are the private troops and Ming Feng's disciples.

We won't stand a chance if we barge in.

Xie Meimei, didn't you say Yu Wenzhi was distrustful?

He must have not fully trusted Kou Dan after Qian Ji incident.

I heard there's a secret path behind the mountain of Ximo River.

Why didn't you tell us?

It was a rumour. I don't even know if it's true.

Mistress Kou,...

...you've been hiding information from us.

What exactly is your purpose?

Enough, Commander. Now is not the time to fight among ourselves.

Lord Shen is still up there surrounded by fire.

Zhou Yitang's reinforcement might be here anytime.

We'll be in trouble if that's the case.

So, our top priority...

...is for you to send your reinforcement soon.

People are most relaxed at night.

We'll make our move that time.

I'll send reinforcement up the mountain to help Lord Shen.

Is there any update on Zhou Fei?

After they rescued the townspeople from the shrine,...

...her whereabouts remain unknown.

Something is amiss.

Something is definitely not right.

Looks like this place...

...is no longer safe.

Mistress Kou, we walked into their trap.

Kou Dan, it's indeed you.

Mistress Li, what brings you here?

Commander Wen, I'm here to discuss something with Yitang.

Unfortunately, he left for the encampment in the north yesterday.

Both of you are so busy. How's everything at the camp?

We're both bothered by domestic strife and foreign invasion.

Earlier on, I met Gu Tianxian of Disha in Hengyang City.

Now the enemy's forces are on the move in the north.

If you need help,...

...I can send someone to deliver your message to Master Gan Tang.

Mistress Li, please rest in the camp.

It's all right.

Unexpectedly, Disha has reached Hengyang City.

It's not far from 48 Strongholds.

For precaution, I should head back.

I'll make a move now, Commander. -Have a safe journey, Mistress Li.

Where did Yu Wenzhi go this time?

Be patient, he'll reveal himself soon enough.

What are you doing? Can't you just tell me?

If you can drive a wedge between them,...

...the cautious Yu Wenzhi will replace Ming Feng's disciples...

...with his private troop for his protection.

You mean he'll be right at the place...

...where Ming Feng's disciples are replaced...

...by the private troops? -Clever.

If he replaces Ming Feng disciples,...

...our chance to capture him will be higher.

Mistress Kou.

They're changing guards.

Lord.

There are too many of them. I'll cover you.

Don't go, it's dangerous.

Protect yourself.

After him! -Yes!

"Li Residence"

May you receive the five blessings, miss.

This is Peddler Gang's Five Bat Token. If you take it with you,...

...Peddler Gang will do their best to arrange everything...

...from accommodation to transportation for you.

I'm Huang Zifu. I've been an undercover here for a long time.

Chief Xu secretly ordered me to stay where Yu Wenzhi is...

...and wait for you.

Is Chief Xu in Chunhui Town, too?

How would he know I was looking for Yu Wenzhi?

I don't know about that.

Thank you.

Commander You, my master told me to send a gift to Lord Shen.

Lord, Yu Wenzhi's private troop has arrived.

They are at our disposal.

They're right on time.

We found out that Mistress Kou said there's a secret path...

...behind the mountain that led to the stronghold.

Hou Zuo and Hou You. -Yes, Lord.

Send a team to look for that path.

Attack them from there. -Yes, Lord.

Second squad, follow me and search the back of the mountain.

Report! Elders,...

...Yu's troops and Shen Tianshu are attacking the gate.

This is bad. -Disha is gathering behind...

...the mountain. We don't know why.

If this goes on, the gate won't hold for long.

Outrageous! I don't care what kind of agenda they have.

I don't believe they're able to take 48 Strongholds...

...from Qianzhong Sect by force!

All of you, listen to me! Gather all we can.

As long as you can move, follow me and fight them off!

Yes, Master! -Let's go!

Wait, I'll go with you.

Zhao, stay here...

...and command from here.

Zhang, the gate will be breached soon.

There's no point for me to stay to command anyone.

We can only go all out now. -That's fine with me, too.

Today, we'll risk it all to fight them.

Zhang, I'll leave the defence of the stronghold to you then.

I'll notify Ma Jili...

...to lead the rest behind the mountain to face Disha...

...and catch them off guard. -It's decided then.

Zhang, if...

...we fail to defend the stronghold, we'll do as planned...

...and use two whistling arrows consecutively to notify A'Fei...

...to abandon the stronghold and run for their lives.

All right.

Commander, a report from the battlefield.

Although the bandits burnt Feihong Bridge,...

...but the leader is dead.

Lord Shen has now lined out troops outside the inner gate.

This stronghold is going to fall.

48 Strongholds doesn't concern me.

I only want to revive Ming Feng Sect now.

I hope you're truly unaffected.

After him! -Hurry!

Stop right there!

Who are you?

I'm running errands.

Running errands?

Since when is someone who runs errands is skilled in Qing Gong?

It's just a trivial skill. It's not even worth mentioning.

Come and get me. -Assassin! After him!

Lord Gu hasn't arrived yet.

Did he run into some kind of trouble?

You don't have to worry about it.

What's the progress of garrison?

Replacing Ming Feng's experts may not be the best plan.

Is that so?

I received news that a mysterious person...

...tried to use Ming Feng's skills to capture me just now.

You have my utmost loyalty.

Even if I trust you,...

...can you guarantee that your men can be trusted?

Commander,...

...an assassin was spotted nearby.

They actually found this place.

I'll send more men to protect you.

Are you Zhou Fei of 48 Strongholds?

I've heard a lot about you.

I thought it was a shrew.

I didn't expect you to look attractive and clever.

Just surrender.

Giant Panther's skills are indeed legendary.

I'm indeed impressed.

After him! -After him!

Giant Panther, you've been chasing me. It's tough on you.

Stop chasing him!

He's only luring us away. Get back to the commander.

Go!

Let's go!

You're not from 48 Strongholds. Who are you?

Do you even deserve to know my name?

Lowly lives!

How dare you go against a royal.

Don't even think of getting out today.

Yang Jin, how did you end up here?

I met Li Yan on the road.

She begged me to help you to capture Yu Wenzhi.

She's so annoying that I couldn't talk her out of it.

See? I brought help.

Zhou Fei, it's been a long time!

You've done well, Kou Dan. Leave the rest to me.

So, it's really you.

Commander, she's trying to drive a wedge between us.

It's not safe here. I'll take you away first.

Let me go! How dare you betray me!

Commander, listen..... -Leave!

Protect the commander!

Guards!

Looks like I'm a step ahead of you again.

Lass, you have guts.

I'm neither brave nor highly skilled.

It's all thanks to Kou Dan for today.

You've planned this well.

Sowing discord between us and I can't explain myself.

I didn't expect to be ruined in your hands.

Looks like Mistress Li is really not as good as you.

I'm flattered.

Do you want to die or withdraw your troops?

Miss,...

...do you think you can get out of here alive?

Commander! -Commander!

Yu Wenzhi, you'd better behave.

I didn't apply much strength just now.

Other than answering my questions,...

...you'd better not say anything else.

You'd better not do anything else, too.

If the commander is hurt,...

...trust me.

Everyone in 48 Strongholds will die a horrible death!

I trust you. That's why you're here.

Don't tell me we're not in the middle of fight...

...but enjoying wine instead?

Will we even live if Yu Wenzhi is not hurt?

So what if we died horribly? It won't stop reincarnation.

I'll ask you one more time.

Do you want to die or withdraw your troops?

Southern Saber is indeed a good saber,...

...but you don't look like a good person.

I never expect the most impressive thing I've seen...

...during my trip to Chunhui Town.....

Step down.

Step down!

Thank you.

Zhou Fei, you've done beautifully!

"It's really him."

Hang in there!

Apply more force! -More force!

Get ready to shoot the arrows! -Yes!

Shields!

Shen Tianshu, you're a scoundrel!

After so many years, you still look nauseating!

Master Zhang,...

...your temper never changes.

Since you're here,...

...I'm going to fight you to the death today!

Shoot him! -Shoot!

Elder Zhang, are you all right? -Leave me.

Take the injured for treatment! -All right.

If you have a death wish, just come!

Bring it on!

Go!

Hurry!

Elder Zhang! -Ma, what are you doing here?

What of the back of the mountain? -I don't know how Disha knew...

...the secret path. We failed to defend the area.

Where's Zhao? Didn't the old man come back with you?

Elder Zhao...

...is badly injured.

Aunt!

Aunt! -Why are you here?

48 Strongholds is under attack. Ming Feng Sect betrayed us.

Disha has already invaded 48 Strongholds.

Let's go!

That way! -Leave me!

Uncle Ma!

Ms. Chuchu, what are you doing here? Go back!

The stronghold is in danger, I want to fight with you.

It's too dangerous, Ms. Chuchu. -He's right.

You're hurt. Let me treat you first.

Please bear with it.

Ms. Chuchu, this place.....

This is bad.

I'm going all out!

Crush 48 Strongholds! -Yes!

What's that? -They're calling a truce.

A truce? -Report!

Report!

Lord, the commander ordered us to retreat immediately.

Why? -He's abducted by 48 Strongholds.

Retreat! -Retreat!

Hurray!

Retreat.

Ma, what exactly is Shen Tianshu...

...up to?

Elder, is that A'Fei?

Where is she?

Back to the formation!

It really is A'Fei!

Hurry!

So, you're Shen Tianshu.

I should have fed the dogs the pancake...

...back at the Dark Dungeon.

Kid, you have no manners.

Zhou Fei, I've retreated as you wished.

When are you going to release the commander?

I will, but not now.

Why should we trust you?

You have no choice.

If you want to die together,...

...I'm willing to go down with you.

Wait!

The rest can go,...

...but Kou Dan is 48 Strongholds' traitor.

She betrayed us and brought shame to the sect. It's unforgivable!

Kou Dan must stay!

I betrayed the sect?

I became what I am today,...

...thanks to that old trash.

He confined me in this rotten stronghold...

...and isolated me from the world.

He betrayed me instead!

Ma Jili, don't forget my warning!

Mistress Kou.

When my disciples returned from their mission,...

...they heard A'Fei had caused a lot of trouble out there.

You must remind her not to provoke the imperial court.

Anything about A'Fei is my business. I'll set her straight.

You watched her growing up.

If the imperial court is provoked, it'll implicate the stronghold.

That will be your fault.

I understand.

Let's go.

"Zhou Fei is ready to kill him. Ma Jili, do it!"

A'Fei, I can take you away from here.

No, I must not flee...

...from my own battlefield.

This is more important than life. The promise of life and death.

Return this to Chuchu for me. Get someone trustworthy to keep it.

This is the key to Ocean Sky and the most important one.

You knew I'd been tracing this, right?

Yes, I'm entrusting you with one.

I'll use another to try to stop them.

Ma Jili, you said Kou Dan was a traitor. What are you doing?

Why did you do that? -Yu Wenzhi is a royalty.

If you kill him, it'll bring danger to 48 Strongholds.

As a royal, Yu Wenzhi...

...instructed Disha Sect to harm people everywhere!

Is it wrong for me to kill him?

"As fighters, we must rid the world of evil,...

...save the people from misery and bring justice to the world.

We don't need to be remembered.

We don't mind being misunderstood,...

...but we must not let the world...

...and ourselves down!"

48 Strongholds' rule never taught us to be timid and overcautious!

I'm sorry.

I was clouded by my own judgement.

Ma Jili, enough. If I didn't trick you, how could I seize Zhou Fei?

Kou Dan, I'm going to take you down!

Traitor!

I'll kill 48 Strongholds' traitors today!

You included!

It's difficult for me not to kill you!

As fighters, we must... -As fighters, we must...

...rid the world of evil,... -...rid the world of evil,...

...save the people from misery. -...save people from misery.

A'Fei, are you slacking off again?

You must not slack off. You must be serious in what you do.

It's like conducting oneself. We must have a clear conscience.

A'Fei,...

...I'm sorry.

Soul-seeking Needle is said to have the power of reviving one.

The effect can only last for 45 minutes.

Zhou Fei, once this is over,...

...we'll have another duel!

Pass my command.

Tell the troops to return and counterattack!

We must take down 48 Strongholds today!

Yes!

Propelling Cloud Palm?

Wait and hold this tight. I'm going to have some fun.
