Legend of Fei

Episode 18

Fortunately,...

...I ran into two people who led the way.

How did you know they're looking for me?

I met them by chance.

I know she practises internal energies the wrong way...

...just by looking at her.

In Hengyang City,...

...only your Floating Palm...

...can treat her, Madam Nichang.

In that case, you came in time...

...to take advantage of the situation.

You're wise indeed.

Her condition looks pretty bad.

For Li Zheng's sake,...

...you won't sit by and let her die, right?

You're really impressive.

Without doing anything, I've already lost half of my power.

You deserve to be the leader of Disha Sect.

Extremely treacherous, despicable and shameless.

But, there's one thing that I don't understand.

Why did you go great lengths...

...to look for a mere singer like me?

I'm here today...

...because I have something to ask you.

Have you heard...

...of Ocean Sky Bracelet?

I've never heard of it.

What is that?

Don't play dumb with me.

Move!

With your current strength,...

...you can't protect everyone in Qiaoyun House.

Fine!

Shen Tianshu,...

...whether you believe it or not,...

...I only know it's an enormous treasure.

That's what I heard from my predecessors.

But it concerns the fate of the world.

About its location or what's in it,...

...I really don't know.

Is that so?

You'd better be telling the truth.

I hate not being able...

...to watch Yuyi Troupe's performance in the future.

Even if you threaten me with them today,...

...I have nothing else to say.

But, you'd better...

...stop being arrogant.

This is Hengyang City, not Disha Manor.

Master Gan Tang's army is not far from Hengyang City.

If you insist on starting a fight,...

...Yuyi Troupe will fight you to the end.

Okay,...

...I'll believe you this time.

Sorry to bother you.

I'll come and enjoy Yuyi Troupe's performance...

...some other day.

You're welcome anytime.

Mistress, your medicine.

Mistress, Mr. Qian Shuiyou wants to see you.

You're dismissed for now.

What's the matter?

Thank you for saving Fei.

No words can describe my gratitude.

If you need any help in the future,...

...I'll be at your service.

No need to thank me.

I'm not doing it for you.

Zhou Fei's grandfather and I were good friends.

I can't sit by...

...when my good friend's grandchild is hurt.

No matter whose sake it is, I'm indebted to you.

Looks like you have a deep affection towards Miss Zhou.

Enough, let's not talk about this.

There's something I need to know.

Please go ahead.

Recently, I heard there's some unrest...

...that's related to the Southern Saber's descendant.

I suppose you've been through those things.

So, this is what you meant.

I want to know the details of the stories...

...and truth behind it.

Some time ago, Shen Tianshu of the Disha Sect...

...appeared at the Four Gods Mountain...

...followed by an unforeseen event fallen on Huo Fort.

Huo Liantao fled in the rush and Master Huo had passed on.

Shen Tianshu?

What was he doing at Four Gods Mountain?

I heard he's after the Huo Family's Kicking Techniques.

But, I don't think the rumour is true.

Why would the Master of Disha Manor...

...lay his eyes on the Huo's Kicking Techniques?

There's one more thing.

After General Wu Fei died, his family was robbed and killed.

Who sent the killers? -Lu Hound of Disha Sect.

Qiu Tianjin.

Now, this is confusing.

Yes, they're just orphans.

Why would he send a big shot to hunt them?

What's their purpose then?

Ocean Sky Bracelet.

I'm afraid they have been trying to locate it from the beginning.

Shen Tianshu returned without getting anything today.

I fear...

...there will be bloodshed in the future.

Unbelievable.

They harm the innocent for something uncertain.

It's really terrible.

These people fighting for it.

But, they don't know that Ocean Sky Bracelet...

...is useless to them!

If everyone thinks like you,...

...the world will be peaceful.

When Shen Tianshu mentioned the bracelet,...

...you don't feel surprised at all.

Who exactly are you working for?

Wang Lin?

No,...

...you're with Zhou Yitang.

Last name, Xie. First name, Yun.

Xie Yun.

Xie Yun?

It's already late so I'll leave you to rest.

Thank you again. -I won't see you off.

Xie Yun.

"Qiaoyun House"

Fei, you're finally awake.

How are you feeling?

How's Madam Nichang?

Madam Nichang has taken Yuyi Troupe's specially concocted pill.

She has been recuperating in seclusion, she should be fine.

So, don't worry. Resting well...

...is a form of not wasting her effort.

Did Shen Tianshu drop by?

Madam Nichang told him the truth.

He got the information he wants. So, he'd probably won't return.

How are you feeling?

Are you sure you're okay?

Are you still in pain?

You're okay, right?

You look energetic. I guess you're fine.

I'm thirsty. -I'll get it for you.

I'm hungry. -I'll take you to the tea house.

Wait here, I'll bring over some clothes.

How long have I been sleeping?

"48 Strongholds"

Mistress Li.

"Secret Service defected"

Mister, any room available? -Welcome,...

...we're the only inn within tens of miles radius.

This.....

Prepare one nice room!

Two rooms. -Two rooms.

Two rooms please. -This is not enough for two rooms.

Waiter! Prepare two nice rooms!

Okay, coming!

This way up, please.

I'm done, you can come in now.

My heart stirs...

...at the sight of such a beauty.

Where are my clothes?

Why do you make me wear this?

Where are my clothes?

Your clothes are dirty so it's not suitable to wear them.

You look pretty good wearing like this.

Stop staring at me, let's go.

Are you going out with this hair? -Why not?

Let me style them for you. Sit.

Let me comb your hair. Have a seat.

You knew...

...I can't stand a beauty being wasted.

How do you want me to do your hair?

Cross Bun? Flying Fairy Bun?

Or.....

High Cloud Bun?

What about this?

Fallen Horse Bun looks good too.

After giving you a hair-do, you must behave.

Otherwise, it's going to be messy.

Mr. Xie, even if you're good at giving a girl makeover,...

...you don't have to use me for practise.

I don't have an ambition.

I don't want to be a scholar nor be in the military.

I only want to be a maid...

...who comb my wife's hair.

What do you think?

It's really ugly.

I think it's pretty.

Why are you wearing this?

You rarely dress up, why are you covering yourself?

It's like wearing a brocade in the streets.

I look ugly.

Fine, don't just eat.

You're going to tear the clothes if you eat too much.

Why did you borrow this clothes then?

It's so uncomfortable.

I think you look good in it.

Don't just keep eating.

You managed to escape death. Have you reflected on your actions?

Are you going to show off your strength next time?

Are you listening to me? -I know.

I won't do it again but I won't be scared too.

I'll still step in if I see injustice.

Too bad my skills are still too weak.

I still need to practise.

What are you doing?

If a master's skill is divided into nine classes,...

...you manage to escape unscathed...

...after killing Dragon Lord in a narrow path.....

Am I considered a master? -Yes.

Although you had the advantage because he underestimated you,...

...you didn't have a proper weapon.

For you to reach this stage...

...proves that your current skills...

...is enough for you to be a second-rated master.

Second-rated master?

But, your luck is really bad...

...for a second-rated master like you.

Instead of meeting countless little villains out there,...

...you had to meet all those scary big shots,...

...which obviously put you in a sorry state.

As a composer, do you job and sing.

There's no need to pick a fight.

But, don't be too pleased with yourself.

The path of martial arts is like climbing a mountain.

There's always one mountain after the other.

There are many top masters in this world.

For instance, top masters from famous sects.

The Taoist from Qimen and Master of Huo Fort.

That's right.

Above the first-rated masters are the top masters,...

...who are extremely scarce.

Despite their reputation, they can shake the martial arts' world...

...like a roaring thunder just by mentioning their names.

That means it's not bad being a second-rated master.

What about Disha Sect and those from Four Gods Mountain?

Are they considered top masters?

Mu Xiaoqiao, yes but, not Dragon Lord.

Shen Tianshu, yes. But, someone like Qiu Tianjin,...

...I think not.

Dragon Lord ranked first...

...because he had henchmen who fight and kill for him.

Also, he's a scheming person with countless tricks.

Such people are very dangerous and can get you killed if careless.

But, to say he's a top master,...

...the other three guardians of Four Gods Mountain...

...would scorn at that thought, let alone others.

Above these top masters...

...are grand masters.

Do you know the difference between them?

What?

It hurts! I'll tell!

The difference between them...

...is that there are top masters in every generation,...

...but, not grand masters.

The disciples of Wither Bloom Skill chose different paths,...

...righteous and evil, where they share the same martial arts.

So, it's a bit inadequate.

Guan Feng of Northern Saber retired early...

...and left with an unknown disciple...

...who had passed on.

So, still lacking.

But, Yin Wenlan is a king without a crown in the martial arts world.

Li Zheng established a new sect and perfected their skills.

These two can be called...

...grand masters.

...there were many martial artists during the prime of martial arts.

How many lost skills have resurfaced...

...and anecdotes still being talked about?

It's too bad...

...that the era of these talented people was too short.

It's gone with a gust of wind.

That's true.

After Master Yin and my grandfather had passed,...

...Duan Jiuniang disappeared,...

...Northern Saber no longer practised.

The later generation like my mother...

...is burdened with affairs and instability of 48 Strongholds,...

...which made no progress till this day.

Also, I fear it'll be difficult to go forward to the future.

Shen Tianshu attacked the Huo Fort in a vicious manner.

After that, he seeks everywhere for Huo's Kicking Techniques...

...to reach the next level.

Too bad, people like this...

...use dirty tricks and have malicious intents.

I think he should be taken down.

Mr. Li.

Miss Wu, why are you sweating so much?

I had a nightmare.

Why are you here at this late hour?

You didn't eat the whole day so I got some food.

Have some. -Thanks.

Please come in.

Listen, I can escape but Disha Sect recognises you.

We'd be done for if they find you.

I'll think of something.

It hurts!

Mr. Li, is your arm okay?

A little sprain like this is nothing.

That trap won't be able to hurt me.

I'm sorry, Mr. Li.

It's my fault that you got hurt.

If you don't mine, don't call me Mr. Li any more.

Calling me that sounds like a noble. I don't look like one.

Just call me Li Sheng...

...or call me Sheng like how you call Fei.

Li Sheng, you don't have to call me Miss Wu too.

Call me Chuchu.

I'm no longer a rich heiress.

Chuchu.

Then, rest early.

Eat up, I'll take my leave.

Okay.

Then again,...

...what use only knowing how to use weapons?

After wandering all these years, I finally understand...

...that food and clothings are most important...

...to the ordinary folks.

He's going to go home soon.

Do him a favour for me.

Give any amount you want.

You're a poor composer yourself.

Why are you being generous to the needy?

It's only a worldly possession, which is temporary.

We can't live without it but, it's not that important too.

It's not as precious as fate that brought people together.

Just take it.

Who just said that food and clothing are the most important?

How did it become a temporary worldly possession?

Are you worried that I have no money?

After so many years wandering, I've gained skills to make money.

How about following me?

You'll know how to earn a living then.

I don't want to wander, I want to go home.

I want to know how my mother and the rest are doing.

48 Strongholds.

He.....

You barely stayed alive.

You should just be concern of yourself.

Do you think your mother's reputation is for nothing?

Just relax, okay?

Mistress Li.

Mistress Li. -Mistress Li.

Mistress Li, it's already late.

Why not leave tomorrow?

It's not a small matter that the secret service betrayed us.

I fear something had happened out there.

I must find Master Gan Tang to discuss the countermeasures.

I'll leave the defense of the stronghold to you while I'm away.

"Token"

Mistress Li, I'll defend the stronghold with my life.

Okay then.

You've done well.

Since you've paid, please choose a story.

I don't know any and never heard of any.

So, never mind.

This kid doesn't know anything.

Why don't you tell a lively story...

...as a bedtime story for her?

Then, I'll talk about current affairs.

It's only a rumour, not necessarily true.

I hope you'll like it.

Recently, I've heard some events that had happened...

...to the enemy at their borders...

...as well as the appearance of an impressive person.

It's said to be a heroine...

...who lives in the mountains with great martial arts.

The way she appeared is also impressive.

Impressive heroine?

Near the border? Could it be Duan Jiuniang?

Surrounded Huarong City.

People in the city was anxious.

That heroine lent a hand...

...to fight against Disha Sect and killed Lu Hound.

She travelled to Mount Heng...

...after pulled herself through a bloody path unscathed.

She defended someone who faced injustice when she there.

She set up a plan to lure Dragon Lord out.

She intercepted him and kill him at the foot of the mountain.

So, people clapped and cheered.

Guess who's her predecessor?

It's said to be the descendant of Southern Saber.

Poxue Skills has now resurfaced after 20 years!

Have you heard about the descendant of Southern Saber?

Of course, I have.

I heard this descendant is a young heroine.

She's really impressive.

She's indeed a heroine...

...but she's definitely not young.

How would she be able to defeat Gray Wolf and Dragon Lord?

As far as I know,...

...this descendant is a rough sturdy woman...

...who carries a huge saber.

What you heard are nonsense.

Actually, the descendant of Southern Saber...

...isn't human at all. -What?

Rumours can really destroy one's image.

Thousands of Disha's disciples surrounded and Four Gods Mountain.

Watch it before you die from laughing.

And kill Dragon Lord. My friend saw it in person.

Fei! -That's a green faced monster...

...with huge fangs that could kill a bear with a slap.

Really?

"Hengyang City"

These flowers are beautiful.

Give me one of these. -Certainly.

How much? -Three copper coins.

Here you go. -Thank you.

Waiter, a pot of fine tea. -Okay!

Miss, do you want to try our Oolong tea?

The tea leaves went through shaking and pan frying process.

It's fragrant and has a sweet aftertaste, sure you'll like it.

Sure, give me a pot. -Certainly!

Here you go. -Enjoy.

Why does it run out so fast?

That heroine lent a hand...

...and fight against Disha Sect and killed Lu Hound.

After pulling herself through a bloody path,...

...she went on her way unscathed.

Then, she travelled alone to Mount Heng.

Encountered injustice at an inn and set up a plan...

...to lure the evil Dragon Lord.

She intercepted and killed him at the foot of Mount Heng.

This brings joy to the people.

Guess who's her predecessor?

That's right, she's the descendant of Southern Saber.

Southern Saber? -Speaking of it, Li Zheng...

Is he talking about my brother or Fei?

...was a casual, elegant and tender man.

Many heroines and maidens fell for him.

Grandfather?

In order to avoid troubles because of his love affairs,...

...Li Zheng had to hide in the 48 Strongholds.

Unexpectedly, he established...

...the 48 Strongholds.

Nonsense!

My grandfather is not that kind of person!

I mean...

...I want to listen to it too.

Miss, pay attention if you want to listen.

If you like it, you can offer me a tip.

This little girl.

How dare he criticise my grandfather.

She's Li Zheng's granddaughter?

That means she's the descendant of Southern Saber.

"Yang Jin of Small Apothecary Valley"

That's great.

Hello, everyone! Welcome!

Come and drop by to check it out!

Listen to my story!

Let me tell you an interesting story.

It's said that there's an Old Master Li of 48 Strongholds.

Although Old Master Li is skilled in using saber,...

...he's extremely thoughtful...

...and very good at needlework.

He has a son and a daughter...

...whom have lost their mother at young age.

Old Master Li played the role of a father and a mother.

This person is the Southern Saber.

Bravo!

Thank you!

Here's your tip. -Thank you very much!

Make way.

What's wrong? You didn't sleep well last night?

I had nightmares the whole night.

You have nightmares...

...even when you're afraid of nothing?

What did you dream about?

I dreamt...

...about Shen Tianshu and his disciples...

...together with Dragon Lord and his men...

...surrounded me to attack me.

They formed a Bagua Formation.

I also dreamt...

...of my mother. She was beating me again.

She was whipping me like a top with a whip as thick as her waist.

Everything was spinning around and I'm still dizzy from it.

I can understand...

...you dreamt about being surrounded.

But why does your mother want to beat you?

Probably because I made her proud...

...because of this trip.

What?

What are you thinking again?

If you said something reliable.....

Since when I said anything unreliable?

Tell me, how many people...

...are as knowledgeable about the world like me?

What's so proud about being a busybody?

Based on what you said,...

...I'm considered a second-rated opponent, right?

When you're in good condition. -What do you mean?

Did you hear how people describe me?

You're a prodigy better than top masters.

That's right. -You aimed to be a grand master.

Other grand masters are not worth mentioning.

They are just a bunch of old guys and kids.

In terms of youth and beauty, they're way below you.

Say more something like these.

Hearing them say that almost make me kneel in front of you.

Master, why don't I especially drive a cart for you?

When are you going to take the Jade Emperor down?

Then, my next new play will have a title,...

...which is called...

..."The Story of Saber Zhou."

You start making horrible stories about me after I complimented you.

I'll send you to the tree by smacking you.

If you sent me up the tree,..

...how are you going to return to 48 Strongholds?

Once you're outside, you'll walk straight to South Xinjiang.

Am I really that bad with direction?

A martial artist who freeloads...

...with no general knowledge like you...

...will have to beg in the streets when that time comes.

Do you know how to sing the beggar song?

Why don't I teach you a few lines?

Just in case, we can make money for the journey.

Do you think...

...Shen Tianshu will plot against me behind my back?

How? Announce it to the world...

...how he was defeated by a young lass?

That's true, a famous villain like him...

...won't go great lengths...

...to deal with a nobody like me.

There's no need to anyway.

You may not know because you're not always out here.

The people hold grudges against the Disha Sect for a long time.

There are always rumours about Gray Wolf...

...being defeated by a kid every now and then.

It's already too much for Shen Tianshu to handle.

Normally, no one would believe it.

But, your situation is a little different,...

...where Dragon Lord had really died.

That's bad.

If my mother hears of this,...

...she's going to beat me to death.

Why are you worried about your mother?

Fei, listen.

You'd better stay low for now.

Don't fight when it's not necessary.

You must stay dead before you reach 48 Strongholds.

Let them spread the rumours.

As long as you don't make a scene,...

...they will forget about this after some time.

Every time I had to fight, I had no choice...

...and was forced to fight under the circumstances.

Back in 48 Strongholds,...

...there's only Li Sheng keeps picking a fight with me.

We haven't heard any news about Li Sheng during our journey.

Don't worry. During this trouble time,...

...no news is good news.

Don't worry too much.

After eating, I'm going to send a present.

Do you want to come along?

Okay, I'll go with you.

They're making money from making stories about grandfather.

Those people are terrible. How dare they slander.....

Oh my, he looks like a huge coal.

Who are you? -I'm Yang Jin.

Accept my challenge!

You don't look like a bad person. What do you want?

What kind of footwork is this, it looks in order.

Since when Southern Saber has this kind of move?

Are you scared now?

What move is this? Her eyes are filled with spiritual energy.

Don't tell me it's the Mind Control Technique!

You're crazy.

You're not fighting any more?

I'm sorry.

I didn't do it on purpose.

Did you see Li Yan? -No.

She must have sneaked out to play.

It's chaotic out there, what if she meet a bad person?

This kid.

Do you need friends from Hengyang to search?

No,...

...Mistress Li specifically instructed to stay low.

It won't be good to notify the Secret Service.

Yan likes playing. She must be in busy crowded streets.

Take some men and search for her with me.

Let's move. -Yes, Mr. Ma.

You're finally awake.

Why don't you rest for a few more days?

Why should I listen to you?

Where is this place?

This is my room, I'll let you have it for a couple of days.

I shouldn't have make a move in a haste just now.

It's your fault. You looked down on me and refused to fight me.

After you've recovered, you must compete with me seriously.

What is wrong with you?

First, you knocked me out and explaining this and that.

Now, you even want to lock me up.

I'm not going to compete with you.

Before I get back at you, you'd better send me home!

I'm talking to you!

Are you the descendant of Southern Saber?

When did I say that?

Then, how do you know so much about Master Li's personal life?

It's because he's my grandfather.

Your grandfather but you're not the descendant of Southern Saber.

You're trying to fool me.

He's my grandfather not your grandfather.

I can say whatever I want. It doesn't concern you.

I'm warning you. If you dare to harm me,...

...the whole 48 Strongholds won't let you go.

I don't care!

You use your saber so hastily. Is this how you treat a girl?
